>> rutgers has been strict on exemptions, some friends of mine had challenges trying to get exemptions in the first place and every year this happens, they insist they don't have religious reason for exemption. people do. this is not something people should be forced to do. this is about your body and whether or not you want something put in your body. i am vaccinated, i believe in the effectiveness of the vaccine and i'm comfortable being around people that are not vaccinated. >> carley: personal choice, it is amazing even if the cdcs it is no longer an emergency. thank you for joining us. there is also this, russian court extending sentence of gershkovich employing >> todd: his friends, family and colleagues fighting to bring evan home. we will speak to one of his friendsnique. next. nique. next. ique. next. que. next. ue. next. . next. next. ext. next. meet the portable blender we can barely keep in stock. blendjet 2 gives you ice-crushing, big blender power on-the-go. so you can blend up a mouthwatering smoothie, protein shake, or latte wherever you are! recharge quickly with any usb port. best of all, it even cleans itself! just blend water with a drop of soap. what are you waiting for? this is clearly vindictive. this is clearly driven by a political agenda. i think it's going to blow up in their faces because i think you're right that folks are going to start paying attention, to wait a minute, looking in atlanta specifically you have 71% increase in car theft. that seems like we should probably be going after that because that impacts people everyday in their lives whereas donald trump choosing to engage in speech that they are now trying to criminalize i think it's going to blow up. >> carley: you just have to wonder what that mugshot will do to the presidential election. clearly the president thinks it will benefit him because he released it on his twitter account. jason, we also want to ask you about this. what do you think about seattle hiring unarmed crisis responders to respond to certain 911 calls? so the plan is to have mental health professionals respond to certain situations but then have police officers somewhere nearby so the unarmed person is answering the door, the first to go in, but a cop will be standing somewhere in the vicinity? what do you make of this? >> that's not even going to be the case in all of these calls. they might be generally aware. it is a horrible idea. it's a good idea to put social worker with police on certain calls. when you are sending them to some of these calls when you are relying on whoever is calling 911 to be accurate in explaining the actual threat. let me tell you something there was a case with a deputy herzog some years ago and called to a naked guy who was running in and out of the street causing problems with traffic he gets there, naked guy attacks him, steals his firearm, shoots him 11 times and kills him. we are sending these social workers potentially be seriously injured and/or killed. >> todd: staying in your city, a seattle times columnist blaming colonization for 9 hawaii wildfires. we're up against it going to hit "fox & friends." i'm going to ask you here when hundreds of people still missing isn't an article focusing on colonization pretty grotesque. >> it's disgusting in every way, shape, and form. while those of us focused on thousands of missing people she is focused on making a political point that is tired and hack need and we are sick of it. they are going to do it i'm sure she thinks she brave. >> todd: brave is the people went to save people still doing the work today. jason rantz have great weekend. we appreciate your time. "fox & friends" begins right now. ♪ good morning everybody, it's friday august 25th, 2023. we start this morning with a fox news alert. it's an unprecedented moment in america's history. former president donald trump's mugshot has been made public after turning himself in to a georgia jail in that 2020 election interference case down in georgia. >> brian: all right. trump speaking exclusively with fox news about the quote uncomfortable experience after posting $200,000 bond. >> ainsley: alexandria hoff joins us with the latest. the post thi
