>> i feel like the biden administration should order them not to accept this plea deal and not have have it on the table at all. the 9/11 community deserve accountability for the murder of our loved ones and have a plea deal where they plead guilty, but there is no trial. evidence doesn't get to see the light of day. they don't get to be questioned. we don't get the full story of what happened. they deserve no mercy. when you go to guantanamo bay, you are shown their confession, they happily said they did it, they have no remorse, they would do it again and they think americans are stupid and we deserve what we get. why do they deserve mercy now? take it off the table and have the trial and get full accountability that we all deserve and have this government support all of our information, classified documents they refuse to declassify and get the truth and let the families have some closure to this horrible chapter. >> carley: you bring up a good point, these decisions aren't made in a bubble. if the people get a plea deal handed down by our government to spare their lives, what does that say to adversaries around the world? do you think that is going anywhere? >> jonathan: it could, but politics in georgia, we have seen with the governor, some people are anti-trump, i'm not sure where itlet go and the wording of the state senator and way he laid that out showed if he can get the people to go along with him, it could have legs. sheer fact they released an indictment before a jury had been seated and given their judgement on the indictment, it was released publicly. this is unbelievable and i want to say how this is connected to jack smith, who is a federal prosecutor or special prosecutor and look at the judge involved with the federal indictment, all these individuals with shown political bias in their careers, recently even against trump and against conservatives and the legal system as we used to know it is shoved out the door. we have judges who are not impartial, they are partial, we have prosecutors, both federal and state level who show that they will go and try somebody based on politics and opinion. our legal system is in dire straits right now and trump is a perfect example of victim of this system. >> todd: glad you mentioned jack smith, this timeline bears what you are saying, trump's defense team, jack smith case to begin in april 2000 26, prosecution proposing january 2 of next year. if we can keep this wall up for a moment, you see january 2 potential trial and new hampshire primary and the iowa caucus and primary and nevada caucus, more primaries and march 4, potential georgia trial, super tuesday and two more trials. you see this inter-burring and when you lay it out like that, how can you explain jack smith and other prosecutors rush to get trump inside a courtroom with any other explanation than trying to mess up his campaign? >> jonathan: what we're seeing right here and that is so telling of what you are seeing right there. they have had years to bring all of these issues they have with trump to the forefront of the court system and they want to do it immediately. time is of the essence in their opinion, they have to have him in court during a presidential election season. if you would have tried this from the conservative standpoint against biden or hillary clinton issue the left would have had heart attacks all over the place. reality of what we're dealing with, it is so -- january 6 occurred, if you ask all the people there on january 6 that went into the capitol building, they were there not to change government, but because they saw government was broken and illegal things were going on and had questions about the election and interestingly, since that day, what the left and many other republican politicians have done is illegal, unethical types of maneuvering to keep the very man that these people were saying was given a bad voting system and lost the election because of that, whether true or not, the left has gone and impeded his ability to run in the next election. from an investigative standpoint, this is very telling. >> carley: jonathan gilliam, we got to leave it there, thank you so much for joining us, we appreciate it. all right, los angeles finally has a plan to address nonstop smash and grab robberies reeking havoc on businesses, is it too little too late?
