It ruled that revealed that twitter was sanctioned 350,000 for not complying with the court order to turn over some of that information. Jack smiths office believed there were some criminal offenses, evidence of criminal offenses so twitter was fined 350,000, this coming from the Circuit Court of appeals here in washington, d. C. Sandra, also following a potential protective order, a proposal that may be announced on friday. The next date for trumps court team is going to be on friday, two days in washington, d. C. A judge set a court hearing, smith wants a protective order and would ban donald trump from talking about certain aspects of the case like witnesses and other types of evidence. Now, special counsel jack smiths team took this as a threat potentially to witnesses and asked for that protective order that would prevent him from doing so in the future. It is a virtual certainty that judge chutkan will impose a protective order in this case. Im not as confident that she is going to endorse the fairly robust protective order that the special counsel was recommending. My guess is that she may be inclined to split the difference and place limitations on certain types of evidence or certain categories of evidence that cant be disclosed. Writing the defendant, meaning donald trump, had a right like every american to speak publicly about the election and even claim falsely will had been outcome fraud during the election and that he had won.
