should he have believed would have taken place under the circumstances in new york. that is something the courts are going to look at in making the decision whether the child charges will be dropped or not. this is that mediate social influencer. he called out and knew we had at least 13 million followers. and they they may very well have shown up in that park. and as you see thousands did and have to find a different way to police in this day and time. what you just said is brilliant. we need to bring in young people to establish a rapport so they know what is going on out in the community. and law enforcement knows what is going on. it is significant and important. i heard the mayor say something about parents bu britt i can tel you, parents co cannot 24/7 loot what the kids are looking at on the internet. under these circumstances even if the children went to that location to try to get these free video games they would not have expected what took place there. i don't know if you can put any more weight on parents to police their children under the circumstances here. this is a riot that got out of hand unfortunately. arthel: it is unfortunate indeed you had a lot of innocent civilians this thing could have gotten worse. thank goodness nypd was able to keep control over it and disperse that out-of-control crowd for ted williams, always appreciate your analysis why the gap? >> well, let's first talk about the economy of then get to may be the public perception of it. the economy is doing well. the one at 87000 jobs that were created last month brings the unemployment rate to 3.5%. that is near a 50 year historical low. it is a good time to go out and look for job in the united states. you can probably find one. last year the average employment rran about 400,000 a month. so you've had a long string of employment growth and declining unemployment. inflation is about one third of what it was a year ago. about 3%. wage growth is 4.4%. that means that the average worker is getting a larger wage increase tha in the inflation re which means he or she has more real spending power. that has resulted in the stock market going upward that means 401ks are doing better. there is a wealth affects people feel better about their overall retirement possibilities. and the economy is growing about 2.4%. that is pretty solid for an economy of 25 trillion. >> is it just a lag here? you think of that's our time people will start to feel better about it? do you think people's wages have been stacking and not going down affected by inflation savings are down. the kitchen table stuff maybe is that what is keeping people feeling negative about it still? >> and pretty much everything you said is accurate as part of the pot. americans are smart they know how they are feeling with the situation is economically around them. it may take some time for the sediment to change but mind you economist, the media, ceos have all been saying there is a looming or session. recession is coming if you say it enough time that affects the popular opinion. human beings are naturally cautious to p of pride that do t change on a dime with took came through very difficult pandemic that caused d cause disruption , job loss. those jobs have surged back. it takes time for public sediment to change. the other thing inflation was very high for many months. those prices are still with us. you go into the supermarket and say ouch. inflation is still there. food is setting to rise higher than the rest of inflation. i think what you said is correct it will take some time for the public to feel the robustness in the economy. there is time before the election. this is probably bending in biden's favor from a pure election standpoint. >> no doubt about it. president biden i guess i'm saying no doubt about president biden feels is betting toward him he's out there talking about this. i am wondering essentially how this is going to play out and the electoral front do you think republicans are going to continue to hit biden on biden onyx?
