>> that has to do with the judge, we already know the former president would do back in the d.c. court room but this case is smaller, when you have four accounts there if that is complex or involved as the classified documents chase, so it's possible he could leapfrog and be an earlier trial in the justice department is indicated that they want to move on that d.c. case and the judge may be willing to go along with that there. >> in the meantime when the middle of the elections and for much from today that will have voters in iowa voting, so here's something that's interesting, we know that president trump has his commanding lead, and the other candidates are trying to break through the list to how the ron desantis talked about what he would do if you got to washington as president. >> we are going to start slitting throats on day one and be ready to go you didn't see a huge, huge outcry because washington wants to protect its own, but at the end of the day this is a city that has failed this country. >> and so, there you go. obviously it's a hyperbole, he's not actually going to slit throats, but the left will say that he would be worse than trump. >> but you also hear others talking about firing tens of thousands of federal workers which we all know how hard it is to do that in practice, but he thinks he has a way to do that, you gonna continue to hear that theme that i'm the one who would drain the swamp and you saw this go back and forth with ron desantis and governor about what he needs the years if used in a gated center for and for the santa says he could have done it but president trump said he's gonna go back in a few days and get these things done so everybody wants to see this swamp drained and i think most americans absolutely want that deprive us of the party they broken so who can actually convince primary voters they can do a question mark >> i think the biggest problem for the republican slate is going to be trumps legal troubles in the sense that this is not my original analysis that came from my thing yesterday, because she was saying how all of this legal drama is going to suck up on the air and most importantly how the coverage. >> so how much send a situation like this that he had to be involved in illegal preparations are how can you focus on campaigning? >> i need a full client's focus, because you get a half to be prepared to be called for cross examination if they put them on the stand, and you know is a defendant i think is just going to be that he wants to be in the stand, and you have to hash that out with his attorneys that is a lot of prep for a one trial states coming as well, multiple federal indictments so you need focus but listen, this is a guy that thrives in the conflict and he likes the combative stage. >> so this sunday you have his lawyer? just told me this morning that he will announce the identity of another victim, back in 1996, a woman's partial remains was located on fire island, and those remains became known as janesville number seven. that set of remains was later linked to another set found in 2011 near gill gold beach. at this point there's no indication as to where the defendant is linked to this campaign, but with this and feet were found on fire island about a mile west of davis park beach. and then 15 years later, on april 11th 2011, additional remains consisting of a skull were discovered at till bay beach nassau county. those remains it -- that skull was found following the discovery of the remains of jessica taylor and the skull was found on the same day as the remains of what is commonly become to refer to his peaches was frowned on jones beach. thereafter in july of 2011 and the lab linked the two sets of amines via dna analysis. and by that i mean that the legs that were found in the vicinity of davis park, they were compared with the remains found at tilray beach, and it was determined that it was the same person. since 2011, that victim was known by various names including fire island janesville. today, we are here to announce as part of the go-go task force, the re-examination of all the evidence of the case we have been able to identify the woman as carrying for god who was 33 years old at the time of her disappearance and i believe we have a picture of her. and i think it is important that we remember and honor not only her, but all the victims on gill go beach. she went missing in approximately february 14th 1996. at the time she lived on west 45th street in manhattan and was believed to be working as an expert at the time of her disappearance. there was no missing persons complaint filed at the time in her disappearance. in august of 2022, approximately six months after we formed this task force, a dna profile suitable for a gin article comparison was developed from the remains of karen. in september of 2022, the fbi was able to via a genetic genealogy review, they were able to identify this woman as the jane delk. thereafter in 2022, using a google swap for a relative -- we were able to identify her. prior to disclosing this information, we needed to contact all of her family members in additionally, at or around the same time, we were beginning our grand jury confidential investigation into what is been known as the gill go for and that is the murders of marine vines and megan and costello, so we decided we would not gonna make any public comment on this time, however since then the results of that investigation have become public and we have made the necessary notification to her family to karen's family, we can make this important announcement now. not just when i think in particular special agent lori from the fbi, and her work with the familiar dna, she worked with conjunction with our clock crime lab. he and his team in coordination with the police department's homicide unit, so when i think them in particular for all of their work of course also when i think i task force members and i share. and spencer from the fbi, and i when i think the new york state police and the police department who could make a here and i would just want to thank them for not only their work on this case, but for all their work in the task force going there he said, let us not take questions today let's just let this be a day will be announce that we have found out who she is and this investigation continues what did you think? >> well, what they are trying to going to have to do is to connect the dots to try to determine if there is any kind of connection between the suspected serial killer that they have in custody wrecks humor men, and caring for god, they've not been able to connect those dots and clearly they have not announced it but this just tells us again that aimed that beach area that either it w wasa killing field for this any identity whatsoever of some of these individuals were missing to missing for decades and they have not been able to link -- the bodies of individuals who are significantly decomposed, if they can make it to the identities of the individuals so it really because expanded exponentially and i'm sure the family is very grateful to know that at a minimum, that her body at least has been identified and now they can rest in peace knowing what it ultimately ended up happening 27 years ago. when in a fortunate ending. >> do you know of her family suspected that she might've been one >> is a good question, i'm sure that anyone who has a missing level instantly went around at the time were looking at, when looking at anyone missing from the mid-90s and actually some office officials said that they made it before that but they're looking at the 2011 at least locally and they have him focus beyond that because there has been reports that the killings stopped in the new york region in 2011 and it might've been just the intense media attention that really centered around the bodies being discovered around that time another have to look for other states but certainly hear the window seems to be 1990s to mid-90s a 2011 so anyone who has a missing one where there's been no account or whereabouts whatsoever, i am sure they are saying that this might be a loved one that this might be one of the individuals that they suspect it's really a killer may have killed them. especially if they were missing around that time. >> there still remains of three more victims in the larger gill gold beach investigation that unidentified as the identification of jane doe number seven today who has been known for years now help with that process? >> it could very well help if they can show a connection between humor men, and those individuals. what law enforcement have not been able to do, and that is to have tunnel vision, but they need to continue to look at the broad picture here that where every human men may have been and they can identify locations they he was, they are going to have to go to those location and baths for another dna swab from the courts of the killer, and the dinner trying use that to connect to see if he was involved in other locations, so this is all significant but it's all part of an ongoing investigation and it's going to take some time. but we always have to be aware and leery of copycats because once these killers identify copycats who want to bring bodies to those locations, they could very well have done so and it may very well not have been associated directly with human men. >> one of the things about mercedes, is heuermann has not spoken, and we talk to the daughter of the other killer, she was saying how her father loves publicity, but heuermann has not spoken yet, and i wondering what you make of that. because i'm not an expert in serial killers. but is not unusual? >> as a defense attorney, they will tell their clients do not
