>> that is the exact question to ask. you know brandon and the people that i know and the people that i talk too regularly. we are looking at numbers that could explode from the current 7,000 or 8,000 a day up to 15,000 maybe even more a day if they repeal or stop enforcing title 42. we've got a way to solve that problem. that is the department of homeland security to continue to enforce title 42 and frankly go further and turn people away at the border. the american people are tired of this. i'm in texas right now in the district that i represent in austin and san antonio. i met with a bunch of people yesterday. they want our borders secured. they want to get the federal government out of the way. telling them what to do in living their lives. it's a simple prescription for the future of our country. that is why we are going to have a good november for republicans. >> ainsley: god bless you, too. god bless san antonio. i used to live there. we have a fox news alert. an arrest is made on the murder of a new york city murder. >> police arresting 40-year-old david overnight. a little bit after midnight. we expect to see him in the coming hours when the nypd takes him to jail. that's expected at around 10:00 a.m. this morning. he faces murder, criminal tampering, and criminal possession of weapon charges in connection to a brutal style it stabbing.the suspect admitted tg an argument with her at her for a school's home. her body was found with 60 stab wounds. this is the picture detectives were working from to identify. you can see the hockey bag right there presumably with her body inside being dragged down the road. police planning a press conference today at 11:30 a.m. these details is coming into the newsroom. they are limited at best. this is what we know. >> we don't know if this is the handyman. >> this is a 44-year-old man from this general area that has been arrested in connection with the case. he's charged with murder is extremely telling. that is the whole enchilada right there. >> steve: todd, thank you very much. at 10:00 right there, and our verb right now, the so-called walk will occur in the 12 precinct here in new york city. that is where they are obviously given all the news crews a heads up so that they can be there to take the pictures. at 11:30 this morning, there will be a press conference. our news regarding this story this morning was that apparently, the killer left behind blood-soaked boots over by the garbage can at that house. here's the thing. the other detail about that story was that the police were running the dna test on the boots to see if they could connect it to anybody they knew of. a dna test generally takes 24-72 hours. we are north of 100 hours after the murder. as a real good possibility it could be related to the dna. then again, it is the handyman. we don't know. >> ainsley: really nice neighborhood. this is for sales but a lot of people we work with are talking about the story because they live in this neighborhood. i was talking to one of the ladies downstairs. they said she lives here grew up in his neighborhood. there is the yellow police tape with lots of cam akers out there. 13-year-old asleep upstairs. they have that picture of her with it looks like a goldendoodle. they can all relate to this. it seemed like a normal american family. >> brian: the question is, is at the handyman? the assumption is they knew each other. the assumption is that he got in. he was allowed to get in pretty she was in the basement by herself in a bar. originally, they arrested a 13-year-old upstairs. handcuffed him and question him. the mom obviously, they say that this is telltale for a crime of passion. >> steve: one other detail in "the new york post" really is at all the breaking news. before this news broke that they now have a suspect in the case. police believe she was followed home by her killer who after murdering her put her in the duffel bag. so perhaps, this david was at the bar. he was spotted there. we do not know what the connection is with her. we don't know if they met that night. we don't know if they had ever met. >> ainsley: the neighborhood was on edge. now they are all relieved i'm sure that the murderer is caught. >> steve: you will see it all caught at 10:00 in the morning right here. >> ainsley: watching bill and dana show. >> brian: 6 minutes until bill and dana get the ball officially. what do you have coming up on your show? >> a ton of news. we could get a major ruling from the u.s. supreme court. we are standing by for that. the president is going to speak in the next hour. how bad is it in the southern town? how many civilians are dead? this could be mind-blowing. president biden addresses the war on that. how that that the fun movement affect african-americans? the head of the local chapter is here to address that. the dirty laundry playing out on television cameras to boot, johnny depp will be cross-examined this morning. this is ugly. we will see you guys about 5 minutes for that and a lot more coming up. >> steve: thank you. 5 minutes before the top of the yellow appeared in the meantime, we are going to switch gears and saddle abacus country star in front of the show trace adkins is on the hunt for the ultimate cowboy. >> calls going out from across america. >> i'm a fourth-generation rancher. >> if you think you're the best -- if you think you have what it takes -- then saddle up and prove it. >> ainsley: ultimate cowboy showdown is returning. a third season tonight. it will feature 14 competitors. vying for $50,000 worth of cattle to start their own ranch. >> brian: joining us now in their preview with a host of that show, country music star and does a great job with y2k, trace adkins. how do you like that they reality world, you are officially a success story in another venue? >> i don't know. i don't know how successful i am, but i'm having a blast doing it. you know, it is something i have enjoyed being a part of. so i am glad to be doing it again here on another season. >> steve: it is season number 3. since the pandemic, a lot of people got, hey, i think he needs a little louder audio. a lot of people during the pandemic got hooked on the tv show "yellowstone." that's just a bunch of tv cowboys. you've got real cowboys who make their money as cowboys. they know exactly what they are doing. >> yeah, these people are the real deal. they do this every day. these are not actors. these are not stunned people. these are real working cowhands. what a great concept. take some of these people -- and honor for me to be a part of this. >> brian: my vision of cowboy is tough guy, self-sufficient. don't use moisturizer. how much of that israel would you see on tv? how much is practical? >> well, that is the way i am. i'm not a working cowboy. i know you don't use moisturizer. you look terrible. >> brian: -- >> ainsley: you are definitely not a cowboy if you get your feelings hurt. >> you know, these people, yeah, you know, they live by their wits. and their skills that they have developed over the years. we don't just test their physical skills on their roping skills and horse riding skills. i mean, this is a rounded competition. they have to know cattle. they have to know how to judge cattle, not just hired cattle. they have to know the business and back of the cattle industry. many people think the cattle industry has become mechanized and big business, and it has. there are still things that somebody has to do on horseback. there are still people out there that do that every day for a living. and they are incredible people. it has been my privilege to work with them. >> ainsley: i'm impressed that it is men and women. you're marveling at the level of talent. what can we expect in the third season? >> we did this in wyoming. so the terrain was a bigger challenge i think them the first2 seasons. this terrain is really, really, really good. and so that presents a challenge itself and the weather, of course, it was cold. it was really cold. the wind was blowing hard. they are battling the elements as well as one another. this was a really challenging season. it was uncomfortable. >> steve: you can go to the website for more information. trace, it is always a pleasure. thank you for joining us live today on "fox & friends." >> ainsley: thank you, trace. >> the pleasure was mine as always, thank l. love you, brian. you know that. >> brian: we used to have a very unique relationship. >> ainsley: you called him a and an idiot one time. >> brian: why do you keep saying that? >> ainsley: we all love him. [laughter] >> brian: thank you for watching big news day continues now with bill and dana. >> bill: moscow claims a major victory in the southern part of the country. i'm bill hemmer. >> dana: i'm dana perino. this is "america's newsroom." president biden is expected to announce a new round of military aid but critics say a visit there would send a bigger message. >> bill: putin claiming he has successfully captured mariupol even though there are still hold-outs. this after months of russian
