Its all about preserving their power. But what else did we could we expect from such a politicized cdc . Just look at what they did to our schools. Classrooms were shut down for over a year. And kids remain muzzled for way too long thanks to the cozy relationship between the cdc and the teachers union. They came up with policies that have little to do with science and everything to do with politics. And the agency is now playing politics at our border as well. Cdc director Rochelle Walensky announced that she would no longer authorize title 42 at our southern border effective may 23rd, which would trigger a giant surge of migrants. So, if the cdc no longer thinks covid is an issue at the border, then why do they think its a problem on airplanes . We know one thing about the cdc, under joe biden, its a politicized agency. And it completely destroyed its credibility over the last year. The question is can we really rely on the cdcs regulations or opinions, given its shameful track record . I know i cant. Before all this went down this evening, the progress if they appeal and they fail courts are so criticized they would be in the 11th circuit which is a conservative court, if they appeal they could get a worse ruling that has broader application against the cdc. So,s question is do they push it or let it lie . The only thing that this order does is stop stop the mask mandate between now and may 3rd. So the cdc decides, tells doj you have to seal this. I assume jonathan its a 30 day notice of appeal to the circuit of appeals . They could seek expedited review which one would expect if this is a Public Health emergency. Otherwise, they are on the same track as other cases. Look, there are good faith arguments on both sides as to how much discretion an agency like cdc shut have. You also have to keep in mind, cdc has had a series of bad hands. They lost in front of the Supreme Court on the mandate large employers. They lost on the National Moratorium on evictions. Those are all reviews where the court said look, you exceeded your authorities. So, they are going back to the table and they are putting more money down. So, this could end up adding to a rather poor record that they have already established in the courts. Lets talk about they filed a notice of appeal. Effectuate the appeal. Shouldnt they or wouldnt think want to have the appeal heard at a time when cases are up as opposed to when cases are down as they are right now . Yeah, there is a lot of issues they are likely to be faced to confronted with if by the court. One is going to be the lack of a record. What the court was objecting to below is that the cdc, certainly made a trust us were the government argument. They said it is just common sense that we are not going to wait for notice and comment. Not allowing the public to be heard. And the courts said well, where are you getting that authority . How do you become a government unto you yourself and say well, im going to extend it . And she was concerned about the term sanitation which is a term in the regulations that they have given a very broad meaning to. Now, once again, there is people on both sides that have good arguments about whether the agency gets discretion on those terms. But, to say that this judge was entirely out of bounds really being unfair. She has a roughly 60 page opinion that adopts a narrower view of the text that she is revising there is a lot of jurists that would take that viewpoint. Judge jeanine do you know what . And it is amazing that, you know, the cdc went beyond its own powers and, yet, our government looks to the cdc to tell them whether or not they should appeal the decision by the judge. So, first of all, kudos to the Border Patrol for this. But, the sad part about this is, you know, that, you are called upon to do things that you shouldnt be doing. Instead of protecting the border, you are called upon to do social service jobs. Well, whats really sad about that is those fentanyl busts, those have just been by happenstance. Pure coincidence that we were able to stumble upon them. We just dont have the resources in the field to actually go after the cartels and their dangerous products they are bringing across. We also have 2,000 gotaways every single day and thats whats known. Thats what we actually detect. We dont know who those people are where they are coming from, what their intentions are here in the United States. But, because we dont have the resources in the field, they are able to get away. That is what is so scary about border security. We must know what is coming into the United States. We have got to be able to protect against the dangerous drugs. In order to save our children from overdose deaths, the most that we have ever had last year in fiscal year 21, over 100,000. We have got to be able to secure our border from threats that are coming across, right now, we just cant do that. Judge jeanine well, you know, i must tell you that i have received some letters from the western Sheriffs Association along with a southern Sheriffs Association. The western states Sheriffs Association. I have several letters. I dont know if we have the full screen of those letters, okay. Im being told that we dont. Where the sheriffs basically no confidence from the whole southern and most of the western border, no confidence in mayorkas. And they are desperate to get some help on this. Especially when 42 is eliminated. Then the local towns arent going to be able to handle any of this. If you have got 15,000 people coming in a day. The local towns will be destroyed. Yeah. Now, we are getting that information from new yorks 11 tonight howard klein the husband of the victim is cooperating with police and has turned over his phone. Remember, klein reportedly received a threatening text from his wifes phone the night she was brutally stabbed nearly 60 times warning him in part that his, quote whole family is next. Gaals husband was reportedly out of town with his oldest son looking at colleges when the murder occurred inside the familys home in queens. Their 13yearold son was upstairs at the time. That teen was interviewed and released. Friends and neighbors of the family have been on social media. They have been out talking to reporters. Everybody is still in shock. Nine blocks from her home leading investigators back to the side are door of her home receipt.
