collections. according to quinnipiac, only 26% of hispanics now approve of biden's performance in the white house. and gallup found that biden is also hemorrhaging support among young voters. only 39% of generation z and 41% of millennials approve of door biden. tonight, pull numbers are just the beginning of biden's problem. president biden looked lost and confused and at one point he attempted to shake hands with someone who wasn't there. and during a speech, joe biden claimed that he used to be a full professor at the university of pennsylvania. watch this. >> i've been impressed. i've been on a lot of university campuses. this is really an impressive place. >> tammy: yeah, that's not true. however at one point the university did pay biden almost a million dollars to be an honorary professor. that is really nice. joining us now with reaction is the chairman, fox news contributor, and former massachusetts senator, scott brown, three great guys that always, would make it disturbed about our leadership, we see you guys, we feel little bit better about the future. we see these videos of joe biden. it was kind of like, funny, or you could make a joke about it. slightly disturbing. but now it seems dangerous as the world watches this occur. tell me your take on where this is going at this stage. >> usually you have politicians who want to shake people's hand and they want to shake their hand, but in this case come is trying to shake hands of people who weren't there. of course, this is right on the heels of obama coming to the white house and being mocked by everybody who was in the white house and joe biden just walking around by themselves. i've been in the white house a lot of times come i've never quite seen the president not be the center of attention. this is alarming. the whole world is watching. obviously our enemies are watching, but also a lot of voters in america are watching. what is happening in our country as we do have a lot of political change over the biden failures. part of the biden failures is this idea that he was ever up to the job at all. the national media is very complicit in that cover up. >> jason, you heard of those polls. we are seeing numbers that are shocking. people are watching what is happening when it comes to the job he's doing. it's one thing about the issues. i think everyone is noticing. for hispanics, that is been a plunge and support. for young people, everyone seems to be disturbed across the board. how do you read this playing out for november? >> i think there's going to be a tidal wave, a red wave that envelops the whole country. because look, what is making joe biden and kamala harris so unpalatable to the country is the policy. america first agenda -- with donald trump it was working. the border was secure, the economy was zooming, life was better in america. things were going well and joe biden and kamala harris change the trajectory by changing the policy. and then you couple that with the idea that they just don't understand america. and they never wanted to understand america. they call it rural america instead of middle america. they assume that hispanics want all this immigration. but they want illegal immigration, not on lawful immigration. like that. we don't have the communicated because joe biden and kamala harris -- they can't communicate. >> these are professional politicians. they have been elected to office. he has been in there, he knows america is much as the rest of us do, and yet they really do think that between los angeles as just a bunch of fields. you have served as an ambassador to new zealand. you know about the impact internationally -- is this is shocking to you as it is for the rest of us? >> first of all, joe biden has been in there too long. way too long for any politician. we should look a lot of our elder politicians respectively, especially what is happening with joe. i am sad. i actually feel bad for them. if this is a republican or president trump, the media would say, we need a cognitive test, we need -- it needs to be done. it is sad, but we need to face the facts. our enemies are watching. and yes, the policies are wrong. they are losing hispanics. they broken every promise that he made. they were going to unite us, he didn't. we could go on and on. the fact that you pointed out, i was away for four years. i came back to a completely and totally different country. it is not in good stead. but you know what? many of your viewers where glass half-full people. and there is an opportunity to make a change very shortly. >> the founders knew what they were doing with elections every two years. that is what the debates are for, that is of the questions are for. it's what the press is for. it is as though every single element of the infrastructure of the establishment colluded to make sure the worst possible thing could happen to us. >> this is the worst scandal i've seen in my lifetime. somehow joe biden was ever up to it. he was never considered a bright bold. in fact, he had to get out of the 88 race because he kept fibbing about his background. he said he had gotten some great scholarship. he said he graduated the top of his class from law school. he just lied about every piece of his resume and to cause democrats to force him to get out of that race. he didn't all of a sudden find ethics and didn't all of the sudden find iq. so the american people are passing a judgment. in the plane that is coming out, which is most interesting, i was a young voter when ronald reagan ran in 1980 and there was a shift. the young people of america all of the sudden saw the republican party and conservatism as what would give them the most help. that is what we are going to see starting in november of this year. >> i have to say, i was so proud to be able to say that president reagan was the first president i could vote for. at 18. and i was on drugs. i was in a life that was pretty much a mess. it was a difficult situation. it was remarkable what can happen when a politician really is able to communicate to everyone across the board. is that possible -- does america have that kind of will? >> america does care. every single demographic is going wrong for the democrats. i believe that is because of the policy and the communicators themselves. democrats have absolutely no bench. >> right, it's empty. >> they have a bunch of octave nigerians. there is no governor that they can point to that -- she is going to run again? i think kamala harris -- i mean, nice guy, but been there for 40 plus years. they just don't have the don't like anything to offer america. >> tammy: i think it is less of a direct age issue, because you can be vibrant and be older, but it seems like they get stuck in this bubble and have completely lost touch with all of us. of all age ranges. >> the one i'm most apprised of his chuck schumer. he can't be this far left. he's obviously looking over his shoulder to find some type of common ground. we can't be going down this path of no return. this is not america as we know it. this is a country where people look up to us. when i was in new zealand, we were pushing back on china, russia, north korea, trying to be there for others when they needed our help it respectively, we are a laughingstock now. we can fix it very, very soon. people need to get out and vote. don't take this for granted. it is time. >> it has to be -- i don't care what your political party, it has to be a cataclysm of everything that has happened here, because we are also affected. gentlemen, thank you very much. now more on this week's terrible economic news, which of course affects all of us. inflation is up 8.5%. a40 year high. so think back to jimmy carter times. wholesale prices have surged a whopping 11.2%. you have seen that when you are shopping in the grocery stores. and no mortgage rates have risen to 5%, the highest in more than ten years. but according to joe, 70% of our economic woes are because of, guess who, vladimir putin. watch this. >> putin's invasion of ukraine has driven up gas pricing all over the world. ukraine and russia, the one and two largest producers in the world. we are number three. shut down. we saw that yesterday and the inflation data. what people don't know is in 70% of the increase in inflation was the consequence of the price hikes because of the impact on oil pricing. we need to address these high prices, and urgently. for working folks out there. >> tammy: where does he get that? i don't know where he's getting into. where that number comes from. but it's just not true. here now with more of people who do know what's going on as professor of business and economics at the kings college in manhattan, fox news contributor brian brenberg. and the future founder and executive director daniel turner and independent women's policy voice, karen chatfield. we have been hurrying strange nonsense now, since january 20te are things that are completely made up. but brian, they are clearly people hearing about economic news. we feel it every single day. they don't need to be told about it. the polls show they don't believe joe biden and what he says about putin, but can you shed some light on the nature of why these numbers are becoming more dramatic? we are heading to history making numbers again? what exactly is driving this to such an extreme situation? >> people don't need to be told what the situation is, they definitely don't need to be told things that aren't true. that is insulting. that is why the polls keep going down for the president, because he is saying things that people know are not true. we've got inflation numbers this week that were very, very bad. and obviously it is something to do with ukraine and russia. everybody gets that. but the bigger piece of all of this is the president's failure to deal with our number one cost driver, which is energy, and his continued insistence to try to spend his way out of inflation when you put those two things together, the only thing it gives you is more and more inflation. >> tammy: normally, like with president trump's economic dynamic, it was strong enough to withhold surprises. that is what we all try to do with their own personal bank accounts. he want to be able to be prepared for that black swan that might show up. and if you are strong, you generally can. i think that -- and carrie come i think this is important, especially for a kitchen table issues and the choices that we are all making about how we are going to be able to live our lives, how we can plan for the future for our own savings and for budgets. what do you -- what is your sense of what's going on with american families here as we have so much chaos? >> to me coming as scum i completely agree with what he just said. i pulled the numbers here. biden said -- this is an absolute lie. he's making up imaginary numbers. when you strip out what he specifically said, energy and food, you strip out the federal reserve -- consumer price index does this. strip those out. the core inflation is still 6.5% on top of the 8.5%. that is only a 24% difference, not a 70% difference. we are talking about specific numbers here. i also want to tell you, we are now in the tenth month of interest or inflation that is above 5%. that is way before the invasion that happened in the ukraine. this is a lie and the people know this pair the question is, will big tech suppress this and say this is a lie, this is misinformation from the president of the united states. i'm not going to hold my breath. >> no matter what big tech tells us, we see it every single day when we pick up something in the market or off the shelves, which frankly still do not have what we want. this is the united states of america. it is almost as if though they are moving us deliberately into a venezuela kind of thing to get us used to having to compromise or settle, especially when it comes to energy and gasoline and what we can expect from power. what is your take? >> absolutely. this is very deliberate. and even before this invasion happened, the biden administration had to make fossil fuels unattractive, they had to make them extensive, because there's no political will for this green revolution paired the american people don't want it, the free markets don't want to. that is why they have to use the power of government and they purposely made fossil fuels expensive. we are feeling the consequence of that right now. everything that is grown, manufactured, all of our haiti income are electric, our cars, they all require energy. and by making energy expensive, he has made life itself expensive. and until he puts in place policies that increases the amount of oil and gas to be produced in america, this is going to continue. and sadly it is going to continue for three more years, because he will not reverse course because he will not give up this fantasy of this green revolution. >> brian, i completely agree with that assessment. we've got -- these are deliberate decisions. they see the harm they have done. they are still refusing to take a difference. and we know this is policy. these are choices, maybe not by joe biden directly, but when it comes to policy, obviously we need to start up generating energy here at home. what else can we do? when we think about the supply chain is an example and china, i guess the biggest port that there is which affects the supply chain. as some of the stuff just going to go on forever? is there anything we can do, anything the president can do? >> you've got to make america the number one place in the world to invest. and the coming years, all of the alignments in the global economy are going to change because we are realizing that we cannot have such strong ties with countries that don't share our strategic interest. russia, china, others. america has to become the investment spot. that means you quit talking about taxing oil and gas companies into submission. that means you quit talking about taxing wealth and you start talking about making this a great place to invest money, keep money, put your capital to work. the biden administration message is the opposite of that, which is why people don't have faith in him right now in the economy. >> when it comes to what should be done right now, besides us of course taking things over and november, what do you think the white house could do right now to make things better? >> here is one. have the federal reserve's stay in its lane. it is supposed to be doing inflation and unemployment. instead, biden is putting up woke nominees. call your senator, tell them to oppose dr. lisa cook. she's been nominated, she is a racist, she believes in critical race theory, she believes in reparations but what does that have to do with inflation? and what to they have to hide? joining us now with perhaps an answer is fox news contributor caitlyn jenner. caitlin, thank you very much for joining me. you have the unique experience of having -- of knowing elon. also when we talk about algorithms, a funny thing happened to you. when we think about twitter, you got shadow banned. a lot of people have experience -- somebody and twitter doesn't like what you are doing, suddenly the engagement drops off and people tend to not see you. what do you think about what elon is doing on how far can this go? >> hopefully a long way. i'm very much in favor what elon musk is doing. if elon musk was going to come in and wanted to purchase my company, i would be so excited. look what he did with tesla. look what he did with spacex. he went up against nasa. the federal government. and he built a better product. i would be very excited. but let me give you a common sense approach. i am a common sense person of what is happening right now. elon musk puts in a bid. the bid goes to the board of directors. they have a fiduciary responsibility to look at that bid. they did, now normally in a nonhostile takeover, because this is not a hostile takeover, not only the board would vote on it, but also all of the shareholders. now they throw the poison pill in. besides mother restrictions, one thing it does is not only the board votes on this bid. not all of the shareholders. so it hits twitter more control over what is happening. why are they doing that? they are doing it because they want to control this. honestly, i think they are scared to death of elon musk. if elon musk was able to take this over and make free speech. he would expose everything that has been going on on twitter for years. i mean, from the hunter biden laptop, you know, heidi not before the election. literally canceling people who even mentioned it while they were on. kicking somebody like myself -- i was shadow banned just because a couple of weeks ago i joined this great news network called fox news. immediately i was shadow banned. i know! you can't believe it. so i am all in favor of what he's doing. i think he will expose a lot if he ever gets this done. i think he can make twitter one of the greatest companies throughout the world and have a major impact on all of social media. >> as a transgender person, you've made a choice in your life that you know is challenging and would upset certain people, but you did it anyway because it was the right thing for you to do. you know that they are going to try to destroy elon musk, who is similar in that there is a vision and that he goes for what he wants. he's got the confidence to do it. regardless of what is in front of him. do you think that he will walk away or do you think he's going to stick with us no matter what happens? >> i think there's no way he's going to walk away. he loves a good challenge. when you take a guy -- i remember years ago when he was talking about how he was going to start spacex. and i'm thinking, how can you up against nasa and the federal government and build a space program and do it privately? but he did. i mean, he is an amazing human being. with tremendous drive. so smart that not only did he take on nasa and the space program, he did it better. he did it as a private industry instead of a federal government and industry. and in private industry coming up to make a product that is very efficient, that is reusable. and he did all of that. i think he would do a phenomenal job. i think he is very challenged by this. even if it doesn't work out this first try, i think he is going to be in it for the long run. because if we are going to protect our democracy, i'm a red-blooded american, i love this country, i am a patriot, and i want to save this country. the first thing you do is you have to keep the first amendment ballad and we have to have free speech in this. >> he's not doing it for the money, he wants to unlock the potential of twitter. people are upset, caitlin, that a billionaire would have to be saving us, but isn't it always about unique people -- whether it is henry ford, chrysler, or anyone who changes industry, changes businesses. >> he's pretty much an emigrant come into this country. look at what he's done. he's taken advantage of what this country is all about. we are the greatest nation in the world. we are only place where he can do it is done. then he took from that -- he got into tesla when nobody was into electric cars. and i even went to santa monica boulevard when it first came out, i went down and took a test drive in it. it was a great little car. i really enjoyed it. to see what he has done now with spacex and now he's trying to -- i think he loves this country. he loves our freedom. and he sees what social media is doing to this country and how they are emboldened by the wilke movement. and what is happening. i think he wants to change that. he wants to keep america america. the one thing goodness. he's a libertarian, so we eliminate the partisanship. it moves it away from being a weaponized mechanism for the left back into a great american company. caitlin, they give for joining me. straight-ahead, biden's border crisis continues to worsen. and governor greg abbott -- what do you know? where do you see it going? and what do you think biden can or will do, which i think at this point is nothing. >> first of all, you rocked it. you are right and every point you made. the biden administration is going to fix this. the biden administration has been in power -- they haven't done a single thing. nothing. they have done nothing to secure the border. everything they have done is have, how quickly can we process migrants release? right now they are looking at $900 million so they can prompt this release quicker. and when you process and release quicker, that just brings more. and your point -- let me make one more point. the biden administration kept saying that the policy is inhumane. more migrants have died under the first year at joe biden on u.s. soil than any year i can remember. a record number. over 100,000 americans have died of overdose of fat and all. his policy is inhumane and they are killing people. >> thank you for that reminder. attorney general, you've been down to the border. this is a human catastrophe. we see it, it is getting worse, the american people are shocked. there is a war going on around theld. there's all kinds of viruses beyond covid. what did you see at the border? are they getting any kind of a handle of it? there's nominee, there's no assistance. what are you seeing down there? >> to make him a thank you for having me on. i literally was in douglas today and the douglas sector, just in february, there was nearly 40,000 people, either they give up that tried to cross that sector. only a thousand of them were turned away. this is having a devastating impact on our country. and i will tell you that one of the things we now, congress has been broken for so long for the consequences of that have damaged our country. but when you combine that with the clown show that is the biden white house, it is devastating. people are dying. we talk about these numbers and sometimes you get numb to them, but literally, people's daughters, nieces, nephews are being killed. the number one cause of death now amongst young people must fatten all and drug overdoses. americans are paying the cost and it is one of the reasons why have led the lawsuit on title 42 against the biden administration, why we sued them over the inability or unwillingness to follow the law and deport people. so what the administration has done is decriminalized and incentivize people breaking the law. >> that is a great point. obviously as the chaos good gets worse, it means there will be even more additional crime, more sex trafficking, more human trafficking, more drugs coming across. it is bad enough when there are some security, but when there is complete chaos, it just emboldens the actors in this even more, doesn't it? >> yes, it does. you are right on those points. it's going to get worse. let me tell you why bear they've artie encountered 1.2 million. they are on a scale right now to beat last year's numbers, which is historic. they are going to blow them out of the water. even with title 42 and place. there's been 60,000 got a ways just last month. 67,000 people enter this country that weren't arrested. and they come from 157 different countries. if you don't think that any of those 67,000 came from a country that supports terrorism, than they are being ignorant. this is a national security crisis. if they lift title 42, that's 67,000 -- it's going to swell to over 100,000 a month. we don't know who these people are. such a scared every american. this administration has created a national security crisis that i've never seen. >> that is the key phrase, tom. attorney general. this is not an accident. it is not a mistake. they are not clueless. there is now clearly -- it seems to be deliberate. that this is policy. it is not like come about policy that no one is listening to. this is the policy. what could the end game be here when you've got a policy that is as monstrous as this?
