better and pass on greater opportunities for your children. >> to decide our country's future, to determine your future, the future of your children. >> laura: today's liberals claim everything they are doing on climate change, covid, the border, even ending the filibuster is because they care about the children. the real truth is very dark and very sinister. the left's core issues, abortion, gender fluidity, the diversity obsession, open borders, and covid mandates just to name a few actually add up to a wall her children. more than 62 million babies lucked into abortion since 1973's roe vs. wade to the current fad of glamorizing transgender is him in our schools, we are witnessing a sustained assault on life and innocence by adults who themselves are spiritually lost. over time it's become fashionable to see children as burdensome, inconvenient, even sometimes harmful to the environment. school aged children who are coaxed into left-wing activism are celebrated awarded but those who sit on the sidelines and resist indoctrination on race and gender victim analogy, they are sidelined or silenced. too many school boards and activist teachers are trying right now to turn our children into race obsessed america hating whiners. >> we want to talk about all the other things to create an antiracist school system. we have to look at it systemically. >> antiracism has to begin by holding up at a mirror and taking a hard look at your own biases. >> laura: they would be reflecting a sickening sight, a bunch of venal virtue signaling know nothing bureaucrats. they are fine to see them shivering outside in frigid temperatures eating their lunches for the lie of social distancing. these photos are infuriating. i'm not going to say this until i no longer have breath in my body, what blue state politicians did to our kids in canceling in person schools, canceling sports and time on playgrounds, what they are still doing with max and vasco mandates is a crime against humanity. of course the dimwits in the media go right along. >> the km 95, and 95 for the most effective but it can be hard to find them in small kids sizes, you want to make sure you have one that fits your child's face and you want to layer the cloth masks over that mask. the surgical mask goes on first end and the cloth masks. 's be what you hear them nodding, grunting along. anthony fauci and the public health robots that he has inspired to see children vectors, certainly not innocent children with robust immune systems. >> we know that 6 billion kids have had covid, they can get it, they can spread it to. >> a lot of parents worried about sending their kids to school. >> the kids can bring it home. speak of the kids are drivers of spread come unvaccinated kids back at school. >> laura: what horrible people, many top colleges and universities your kids are forced to submit to the covid vaccine. bent on vexed football player we featured last night on the show, even more, the push online and in colleges i thought i heard everything to destigmatize by calling it something else. >> i use the term minor attracted person in the book for multiple reasons, it's less stigmatizing than other terms like -- using a term doesn't indicate the morality of the attraction. >> laura: you'll be relieved to know that individual has been suspended. imagine if they reiterated concerns of voter fraud, he had been fired on the spot for those comments, this is twisted. all of this is viciously antichild, part of a larger mind-set that has been cultivated for decades. it's no secret of the culture has a selfishness problem, we all can be selfish no doubt. hedonism didn't begin in the 60s, it certainly isn't giving a big boost from the free love generation. god was kicked to the curb in the schools and the religiously minded became increasingly caricatured in film. when i was a kid there were a lot of families that had a lot of kids and we figured out we helped each other out we were neighbors. at some point big families were suddenly considered weird and selfish, fringe. the opposite is true. children require sacrifice, children are love and as mother teresa said they are our most precious treasures. before i adopted my three kids i focused way too much on myself, i'm not that interesting. it wasn't good. sadly there are many who believe that children are potential problems. >> scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult and it does lead young people to have a legitimate question. is it okay to still have children. >> you're getting people to sign pledges they will not have children until the canadian government takes serious action on climate change. >> i don't have a lot of hope for the future. >> laura: there is prominent pushback. >> if you don't have more children, civilization is going to crumble. >> laura: mark his words indeed, there are plenty of other reasons for optimism up there. we see it in school board meetings where parents are refusing to allow their children to be pandemic lab rats. we see hope in the faces of the thousands of young people including my two sons who gathered today in washington for the annual march for life. not necessarily convenient for march and freezing dreary washington every year but it is a powerful statement for the rights of the unborn and it's a statement to a world that seems so comfortable with the act of discarding the children and that is the angle. joined me now is matt walsh and the best-selling children's book author. i don't think people fully understand how demonic this all is, we thought the report about teachers and school officials in california grooming children for a transgender activism and transgender identity, your thoughts on all of this. >> thanks for that monologue, i think you are correct to tie in to begin with but modern american society is built on a mass grave of 60 million children. we've gotten accustomed to seeing children as a burden that we can toss to the side, we are stepping on -- many people in our society walking in the blood of our children and not hardly even noticing. you drive by many people on your way to work, doing errands, you drive by planned parenthood, their people going in every single day killing kids, you grow accustomed to it after a while and grow condition to seeing kids in a certain way. that's why it is no surprise when the pandemic comes along, the health of children, the psychological health because their physical health was never at serious risk because of covid, their psychological health wasn't even a concern, it wasn't talked about. it was never factored in and now we are told the media is reporting there is an epidemic of mental illness among our children, going to the emergency room and they are depressed, it's not mental illness, children reacting in an understandable way, tragic way to what we have done to them for the last two years. if there is mental illness, it is in the adults who have done this to kids but this is all a cover because we can't admit, the adults can't admit what they have done so they look for excuses, mental illness so they blame it on covid. it's not covid, it's our reaction to covid which was a reaction that did not even take into account our children at all. >> laura: it's antiscience and antichild, to your point, here's what the new york governor kathy hochul explained about why she thinks masking kids is vital. this is today. >> my daughter had a meltdown having to go to kindergarten, she got used to wearing sneakers in school. they adapt better than adults do. >> laura: i don't even know what to say in response to this, you take it away. >> they adapt in the sense that they get used too, it's like a child who suffers physical abuse at home. he adapts to it in the sense that he gets used to it, he gets literally beaten down and accustomed to being treated this way to the point where after a while he starts to believe he deserves it. if that's what you mean by a adapt, i would call it damage. the normal thing is for a kid to refuse to wear a mask, something on their face because you try to put a hat on a young child it's impossible to keep it on him. that's a healthy, normal child, if your child gets to the point where they wear the mask without any complaints at all without fidgeting, that just means they have been broken down, their brains have been broken, their spirits have been broken and all of this is being done, by the way, it's not like this is some misguided efforts to protect the kids. what infuriates me the most, this is being done to protect the adults. the adults feel safer around the kids and that is the most disgusting thing about it. >> laura: i want to thank you for being a consistent and often hilarious voice, we need to laugh, thank you so much. >> i would hope what happens is the rest of the world does what i'm doing and provides significant amounts of vaccine to the rest of the world because it's not sufficient we have this country not have the virus. how do we move in a direction where the world itself is vaccinated? >> laura: are you kidding me? what we are witnessing is the biggest immunization campaign in history of all mankind. why are we doing this when the underlying vaccine data is still being kept secret? a new editorial by dr. peter josie associate editor of the peer review notes that pfizer's pivotal vaccine trial was funded by the company and design, run, analyzed by pfizer employees and pfizer has indicated it will begin to entertaining request for trial data until may of 2025. nothing is going back to normal until the world is vaccinated now. joined me now, kentucky senator rand paul. a friend of mine who was a researcher himself sent that to me. two issues here, the world has to get vaccinated until we go back to normal and why is pfizer keeping its data secret? >> here's the deal, the world is being inoculated by the virus whether they like it or not to. people are getting this by the millions, the third world is going to get this, they are never going to be vaccinated with the whole entire world is being inoculated everyone i know you will be inoculated one way or the other foot is not going to be big pharma. they are going to be inoculated by nature. the natural infection, you may not want it, people unfortunately will die from it but if you get it and survive it is profound immunity and giving immunity better than the vaccine because the disease is now evading the vaccine for the most part. >> laura: they don't care about this, they don't care about natural immunity, not really. >> ultimately enough people, it's getting out there, it's not a secret, they can't keep this a secret forever. even the ncaa decided they are going to count natural immunity -- it's for a pitiful 90 days, i've had it for two years now and have immunity. they measure were able to detet immunity. they measure immunity from the 1918 spanish flu and discovered people were still living 90 years later still had immunity. immunity works, it's largely long-lasting, it doesn't prevent infection entirely but it's just like getting the omicron. you are going to have some immunity and resist hospitalization and death. >> laura: we know this but the question is how do you force the federal government to recognize this and it stopped trampling on people's rights with these mandates? i've got to get the dr. fauci because he authored a doomsday prediction the other day saying the worst-case scenario is we are on our way and we get hit with another variant that eludes immune protection. i don't want to say it's wishful thinking but it's almost wishful thinking at this point. >> the man never fails to have the most pessimistic outlook possible and an outlook that requires more government intervention and an outlook that also elevates him diva status so he can keep telling us what to do. this pandemic will end when we quit telling people to get tested who are not sick, that is the first thing that has to happen it's also going to end when people economically resist. they have shut down d.c., unilaterally ruined the city of d.c. you can't come there as a tourist, you can't tour the capital, the restaurant owners finally pushed back, they march in the streets, we tell people to take a flying leap you're not going to come in my restaurant and force a mandate, that's when this will end that it's going to take economic resistance by restaurant and hotel owners and these blue cities where democrats are these mandates. >> laura: i need to get your thoughts and another thing, california is looking to further undermine parents. the first to bill out of the newly formed vaccine caucus would allow children 12 and older to receive vaccinations without their parents consent. we know they have wanted to put a wedge between children and their parents on a lot of issues but this takes the cake. >> i believe it's medical malpractice to force vaccines on children, particularly adolescent males. we now have scientific evidence that shows the risk of myocarditis for young males is greater for the vaccine and it is for the disease. we also know the death rate is closer to one in a million, we know the more you get to the vaccine, the higher your risk of myocarditis. 90% of the myocarditis came with a second vaccine, what do you think happens when you give them a third vaccine? i think universities like chicago, princeton, and gail that are mandating young males get a third vaccine, they are going to be open to liability of any of these boys, these young men or women get myocarditis and god forbid dies, they are going to be open to liability because they are going against the science. but you have such left-wing academics whose heads are in the sand and think dr. fauci wants us to do it, we should do it. they aren't thinking about this but they are going to be open to big-time liability for forcing this vaccine on kids. >> laura: as usual, thank you. so important to nights. the white house has a plan to turn around biden's poll numbers, how exciting. more time with the american people, that's all he needs. senator ted cruz and ari fleischer have reaction in a moment to. >> laura: one of the answer is president biden gave his press conference made issues only worse for him. made to it's worse for him today. >> you guys will ask me all about russia and not about anything having to do with chips. >> laura: joined me now is texas senator ted cruz. good to see you tonight. what does this say that the president of the united states after screwing up his answer on russia and other matters, he didn't want to answer anything. he had to go get the dog groomed or something. >> it's pitiful, it makes you sorry for him. he is in over his head to. you look at what he has done on russia, the same thing he has done on china, the same thing he's done on iran, the same thing he's done on taliban. he's shown weakness and surrendered to vladimir putin. i forced a vote in the u.s. senate to force sanctions on russia to stop the pipeline from russia to germany, that was sanctioned legislation, bipartisan legislation, we passed into law and donald trump signed it into law. we shut it down, when joe biden got elected he gave a multi-trillion dollar gift to prudent, that's why russian tanks are on the border right now. biden is so weak he has surrendered essentially to putin. when he says and stands up maybe a little invasion of ukraine, what's a few tanks between friends -- that's really sad to see an american president demonstrate such weakness. >> laura: i want to move to a covert related issue that came up today, the editor of peer-reviewed tmj noted that the pfizer vaccine trial data has not been made public at apparently they are not going to release it until 2024, maybe even 2025. given all the public concern about these mandates and potential side effects, what does that tell you? >> it is ridiculous the secrecy that has clouded over this, we ought to release all this information to the public, the public has a right to know. the biden administration wants to clouted in secrecy. you look at the fda where they don't want to release their data for 75 years. i'm grateful that we have vaccines, i'm grateful president trump started operation warp speed and develop to these vaccines but i believe in individual choice. it ought to be your choice whether or not to get a vaccine and the idea that biden and petit democratic tyrants across the country would order you or order your children to get a vaccine is wrong. just this past week i introduced legislation to repeal the district of columbia, they have put a vaccine mandate in for school kids, forcing them to get vaccines. that's fundamentally wrong, it ought to be up to parents, not some democratic bureaucrats. >> laura: you are making a big endorsement in a very important pennsylvania senate race. you now are endorsing david mccormick who has quite a resume as people can see here. military background, bronze star, served as ceo of bridgewater associates. it's a crowded race, dr. oz, star power over there. are you concerned he is to as some say establishment? his fund has done a lot of work in china, his partner is pro-china to the max. are you worried about that and have you discussed these issues with him? >> i have and i'm not concerned, i've known him for a lot of years and i think he is an exceptionally strong candidates. we got to win pennsylvania to take the senate and you look at dave's story. born in pittsburgh, grew up on a christmas tree farm in western pennsylvania, he was a high school wrestler, high school football player. got appointed to west point, he was the captain of the wrestling team. you and i are lawyers -- this guy was an army ranger, combat veteran in iraq, served as the senior official in the security council, he was ceo of a big company in pittsburgh creating over a thousand jobs in pennsylvania and when it comes to china, he has stood up to china over and over again on behalf of the national security council, on behalf of the treasury department. president trump wanted him to serve in the cabinets. i know dave first hand. he's strong, he's got a backbone, he got a principal and to win this race we need a fighter, we need someone who will go bare knuckle into the trenches and will fight for the people of pennsylvania. i'm confident -- i think there are good people in the race who i like and respect but i think dave is the strongest candidate to win this race and to win control of the senate. we win pennsylvania and at chuck schumer is no longer majority leader. >> laura: we are going to be watching that race closely and i will be interviewing him in the coming days. thank you so much, great to see you come have a great weekend. the white house has a new plan to turn around abysmal approval numbers. if the ap notes biden will put greater emphasis on speaking directly to americans and less time in the weeds with lawmakers crafting legislation -- that's what he was doing? this comes after "the washington post" reports that kamala is mulling a heavier media schedule after months of looking warily at such engagements. is more really what the people want to see? jordi me now is ari fleischer, former white house press secretary and fox news contributor, sorry, i didn't know joemala was going to be in my script, they are trying to make me laugh on a friday night. will this help, more face time, more speeches, more town halls, forums, what are they calling it? interfacing? >> first it's got a ring like godzilla, i think it's aptly put. it will not help the men here is the problem and i've been through politics enough to see this and with that because of one party or the other. i remember when george h.w. bush was running for reelection in 1992 and the campaign cut a series of ads all of which were poll tested, fantastic messages until people heard it was for george h wp should he was quite unpopular when he ran for reelection, nobody believed the message. this is the problem when you are as unpopular as joe biden and kamala harris are, people don't want to see that. the only silver lining i can see for the biden team is going into a midterm election the only appeal is to the most partisan of partisans, they need to get the base out, that's the only sliver that makes sense. for independence, ticket splitters and republicans, seeing them reminds people of what they like both so much. >> laura: only 49% of democrats want to joe biden to run for reelection. >> it's remarkable how badly he's blown it in his first year, he was elected by democrats by just enough of the country, they were tired they didn't want donald trump anymore. we're going to take our chances on joe biden, we think he's kind of a moderate. i think if he were to govern to get joe manchin's vote instead of bernie sanders phot everything would be different right now but he cast his lot in with the most liberal, with the most progressive and he keeps going even more so in that direction with all of his policies, all of his statements. >> laura: you know the whole world of white house staff shake-ups, it's inevitable after a bad first year or one would think. this is what the media and to some biden allies are on to become a watch. from politico, it's ron klain's turn in the barrel. from nbc news, under scrutiny as biden struggles yuriko is at ron klain's time to go on to political consulting or whatever he's going to do? >> i don't know ron klain but i will defend him in this
