you know what that is? totalitarianism and that is what she is, a totalitarian. neil: are watching "fox and friends first". carley: we begin with inflation. the fox news business poll shows most americans are extremely are very concerned about rising cost of goods, president biden's policies only making things worse. neil: lauren blanchard has the numbers. >> reporter: voters are focused on what inflation is doing to their wallets and they are not happy. in our latest foxbusiness survey 84% say inflation entire prices have been extremely or very concerned. the same survey found think the administration's policies are hurting inflation woes, 46% say they think the build back better bill would push inflation higher, 42% say it would hurt the economy into new study from the university of pennsylvania they found due to inflation on average this year families are spending $3,500 more just to keep up with the usual shopping habits, those rising costs are the reason senator joe manchen says he's not on board with the social spending. democrats and the president are frustrated because their christmas deadline to pass the bill seems to be slipping away. >> what is your reaction? >> build back better arrested for better, joe manchen said he's not going to vote for a bill that led to the deficit. if you do away with the budget to mix, build back better according to cbs and $3 trillion to the deficit? >> manchen always said he wants to slow the process down and lower the price but democrats worry letting the bill certain to mix your weaken its chances of passing and could hurt the party and the midterms. >> new york times columnist begging president biden not to run for a second term saying he's alarmingly incoherent and blamed his uneven cognitive state and says, quote, is a good idea for president biden to run for reelection in 2024? i put these questions bluntly because they need to be discussed candidly, not just whispered constantly. his appearances including the government inspire strong confidence the president can go the distance in his current term to say nothing of the next? know, period. end of quote. stephen searching the president to make an announcement soon so potential successors can start campaigning. >> tucker carlson's is no surprise the left is already turning on biden as they look ahead to 2024. >> he's been in office less than iran already his own supporters are measuring his coffin. but of course they are. this was always going to happen. professional democrats are not sentimental people, their stony hundred realists. president biden has served his biological purpose, he stopped bernie sanders in the primaries he made america safe for private equity. mission accomplished. time to pull president biden off the stage before he gets older and less popular. that is what they are thinking. it turns out supporting president biden was never about any specific ideology but these people have no interest in principles or ideas, loyalty is a foreign concept to them. they care only about power. >> earlier this week there was that abc poll that showed almost 70% of americans disapprove of the president's handling of inflation, 70% and now you hear the response from jen psaki, blaming big oil and gas at the meet conglomerate. of course that's not true. you pump more money into the system, you have supply chain issues it will cause inflation. i wonder if the biden administration if they could have a do over if they would have not push to pass the march stimulus because that has a big impact on whether 70 right now. >> i wonder if they do everything they did with regard to the pipelines. my answer is yes because they are focused on climate change but think of the impact their gas is led to in terms of gas prices going up, overall members of inflation. the polls, the number that is sticking out to me is the $3,500 number, the average price that you as an american i paying more for goods this year. think about that. when you look at what the average income is, for the $100 is a nugget, quite a hit to your bottom line. that means you are not going to be up to go on vacation or do that project in your home you wanted, you're not going to be able to fund your child's education. this is $35, we are not talking about even if it is $350 we may be talking about it but the impact won't be that great. >> the foxbusiness poll has inflation hurt you over the last 6 months 67% of people said yes. one of the pollsters who conducts this poll is quoted in the foxbusiness right up the results and he says one thing the president has done, has going for him is low expectation. of the spending plan starts to have a positive impact on people's lives maybe some will reconsider their view of biden. the problem with that is i don't think the spending plans are going to start changing things in a positive direction because only increase inflation more so in effect if you have joe manchen and republicans doing this through the american people that if they are saying no one bills back better it could be saving president biden from a lot of her down the road. laura: you mention the spending plan, the one you mentioned, build back better, no movement on that, manchen is that budging, that could be dead on arrival, the other spending plan is the infrastructure and to your point people see changes in the next month? know. you can't build a road by january especially around christmas, those are long-term infrastructure changes that quite frankly you won't see the proof in the pudding for many months if not years. >> there are solutions to these problems, crime, so easy to solve, you know how to do it, we know what works. when it comes to oil and gas prices we know what works, just increase american oil and gas but biden won't do any of it because it goes against what his party wants him to do. laura: stop the free money when it comes to labor, get people back to work. now to a
