district judge in louisiana halted the biden order that certain healthcare workers nationwide be vaccinated. this followed two other similar rulings by judges in missouri and kentucky over the past 48 hours. the supreme court will have the final say. we have kenneth starr on this later and fauci outs himself again as a con panic pushes go nuts. the medicine cabinet on that and the congresswoman liberals love to hate is here with a message for those trying to cancel her but first, the swamp stays home, that's the focus of tonight's angle. if you live and work in a red state you may not realize many federal employees haven't returned to work full time since the pandemic began said federal building including those that house homeland security, hhs, transportation department have had a lot of vacant offices, the lights are on and literally almost no one is home. this is a complete travesty, especially in the midst of an inflationary spiral, supply chain crisis and a new covid variant. in the twisted liberal mind, in person work is expected for store clerks, barry stucks, janitors, airport personnel but the average federal worker apparently believes staying home is their right. way back in june in a story that got very little play we learned the biden folks want to make the situation with that homework permanent. the biden administration laid out a permanent work from home expansion that is likely to be cheered by many federal employees 59% of whom were teleworking at the peak government work during the pandemic. this should be shocking to exactly no one. federal workers are biden the lapse electoral bread and butter. in 2020 alone, nearly 96% of donations from the american federation of government employees and its members went to democrats. only 4% went to republicans. in terms of actual dollars, the afg and its members donated 25 times more to democrats than to the gop. whatever federal workers once they will eventually get as long as a democrat is in the white house. in an opium survey from 2020 published earlier this year federal workers gave this day at home flexibility high marks. their productivity did not suffer. my question is who is managing the managers, who is supervising them? it is like surveying high school students whether they want to get more vacation days or not, but don't worry. there are a lot of tips about how to use telework wisely on the government website called telework.gov. perusing it for a few moments as i did today we are supposedly converted by the fact that teleworkers and non-teleworkers are to be treated for job performance reviews, permission and work requirements. that is a relief. let's move along. no one believes the managers are as effective at monitoring employees who are not on-site. even if we take it is true that federal employees are just as efficient at home as they are in the office then why are we paying them dc area wages but that is what the biden team continues want to do. opm's latest guidance tells agencies teleworking employees are still expected twice the pay period should be granted locality pay based on where their traditional worksite is located. if you're traveling to the office twice in two weeks you get big city pay. that is a nice little kickback. the ugly truth is this is part of a larger biden administration plan to reset america. the telework website notes that we need to leverage the lessons learned from our work during the pandemic and reimagine how we were. so in the old normal you actually got dressed, traveled to work and collaborated in person with colleagues, but their new normal is you say you are working but you are in cancun in cancun with your screen off. sounds like build back lazier to me. but to the extent biden is aware of any of this, he doesn't care if civil servants at the energy department show up or not as long as they vote for him. >> your patriots. you could have done a lot of other things with your careers but you chose public service. i commend you for your professionalism, your honor, your integrity. i have the utmost trust in your capabilities. >> a few weeks ago biden released a memo that gives enormously way to agency heads to expand the number of federal employees eligible for permanent remote work by calling it something else. the document urges these agencies to codify remote work as an alternative work arrangement. all the opm stressed if you should be considered on a case-by-case basis. why this session was telework? climate change phonetic something like this just like they love the lockdowns, few people on the roads, few people traveling but they justify work from home to promote diversity, race and gender goals. what a complete scam this is. how many of these teleworkers are essential workers? here's my rule of thumb. if they haven't been into the office for two years and have no plans to make it back and no essential can they be and it is so out-of-control that the biden white house doesn't even know how many of them are still working from home. >> looking at that set of the federal workforce that was certainly forced to telework you have any sense of what percentage of that group has come back to the office? >> i can't tell you the precise percentage of where we are, we are working with the agencies on the reentry process. part of that is making sure people are vaccinated. >> the reentry process is ordering a bunch of stuff on amazon prime. this is embarrassing. given the number of court decisions going against those vaccine mandates i wouldn't count on any of that. the irony here is with biden's covid gravy train and fear mongering many of the big private sector companies that supported biden are still struggling to get workers back into the office especially in blue states. wall street is in revolt, bankers can't imagine going back to the office full-time, parents worry about transmitting the coronavirus to their children, suburban dwellers are shaping as thoughts of resuming long commutes in many employees prefer to work remotely. and serves these banks right for backing biden. welcome to the new normal wear lazy meets in titles, certain -- there's certain narrow categories of work, certain narrow categories of work up always been fine to do remotely, we know that but this was never meant to become permanent especially in the federal government where the benefits are already cushy and the job protection is virtually guaranteed. america developed the world's most powerful economy by out innovative and outworking everyone else. we cannot phone it in and expected preserve our standard of living. republicans in congress must demand real answers about what bloated federal workforce has been up to. other than binge watching netflix and ordering food on door they-. congressman, from telework to proxy voting this has to end at the federal level. you guys can stay at home and vote in your pajamas. you are responsible. >> it is infuriating. when you consider that right now we have a backlog of 182,000 claims at the va for veterans who are calling my office every day frustrated with the bureaucracy, the backlog is caused specifically because the va employees are working from home, social security offices of closed. you have to do everything by mail with social security because workers are working from home, you have a 12 to 18 week back log for visa applications at the state department. you could go on and on, more examples of this. i have constituents calling my office and saying they still haven't received their 2020 tax return from the irs because of this issue. it is at the end of the day a matter of fairness. my brother works in the same factory my dad worked at. he goes to work every day, he can't work from home, he does pay taxes and his tax dollars are going to pay for employees making twice as much money, get twice as many vacation days. it is not public service if you're better off than everyone else around you. that is what we call a scam. neil: they have to come back to work or are nonessential and they should gradually be phased out of the federal workforce, don't you agree? if you can drag yourself to the workplace but expect the amazon delivery guy to come to you every day how is this right and fair to the american taxpayer? >> it is not fair at all but the example is being set by democrats in congress who just released the new congressional schedule for 2022 today earlier today and we will be in session fewer days next years and we were in session this year, the least amount of days members of congress will go to work in modern history but every member of congress will get a paycheck for 174,$000 a year, they can vote by proxy, never have to come to washington dc, democrat example they have set for the american people and playing it out with federal employees. laura: most people in real america don't know this is happening. you drive by h h s or the transport station, huge hulking office buildings in dc i would say a third of the lights are on, a third of the offices seem occupied which leads to the next question, how many of these employees did we ever need in the federal government and why are they still working because they are not really working, that is the answer. >> it proves that point, proves it very well and when we get the majority back in the next election, hold us accountable for this, we have to dig into this, look at how many federal government employees do we really need. actually study each department department by department and determine how many of these employees can because because the hard-working american people who have to go to a job every day, who to something, actually work and create something, they are the ones footing the bill for those who have a job where they can stay home and still get paid 100,$000 or more. at the department of education, federal department of education on average they make 100,$000 a year, teachers make half of that on average around the country and these federal employees who work at the board of education don't teach kids to read or write and making twice as much as teachers and they get to stay home to do their job, do whatever job it is they do from home. >> i worked at the department of education and transportation. i wondered what half the people in the building were ever doing. we will hold your feet to the fire when you take back the majority, democrats labor to keep the federal workers kept surfing indefinitely they are planning to penalize actual workers. the biden administration still supports empowering irs agents to monitor your bank account. >> can you tell the american people today whether you still support any form of the irs targeting essentially every single working american at minimum wage or higher. >> i do support it. i think it is important that the irs have visibility into opaque income streams. laura: what that means is letting irs agents monitor bank accounts with annual deposits of 10,$000 or more. that may sound like a lot of money until you realize that's only $833 a month. here with me now is j d vance, ohio senate candidate. they want their mitts and their eyes on everything the average american is doing, that is clear by this move. she's not even trying to hide it. >> exactly right. think about this. they say it is about billionaires. there are a few hundred billion is in his country, why do you need 887,000 people, you need hundred 87,000 people to monitor daily financial activities of normal middle-class americans and if we've learned anything the past 10 months of the biden administration is a willing to use the federal government as a weapon against normal americans. think of the nonviolent protesters still in prison thanks to corrupt prosecutors at the federal level. why would we give the government more power to monitor, control, harass normal americans. that's what this is about. anyone being honest with the american people would admit that. laura: this is a massive issue of privacy, surveillance, amassing government authority and power over working-class americans, it is not targeting rich people. what do you think the real goal is behind this? the real goal? >> important to remember once you turn his power on you can't turn it off, the real goal is to create a massive new enforcement bureaucracy to go after law-abiding americans. you have to commit a crime to have federal agents harassing you but if you give the irs this new enforcement power with all the agents to back up you could have them arresting people who are just going about their normal lives, just transacting the normal business, maybe buy a firearm in the irs comes after you, you support political candidates the irs doesn't like, we know from the obama administration's the irs would actively targeting conservatives basically talking about blowing up that entire program on a massive scale and never turning the clock back on its power. it is a dangerous precedent to set. laura: than they know what you are spending your money on presumably as well. why do they have any right to any of this and where are the real liberals jumping up and down on this? as i mentioned at the top just hours ago, a federal judge issued a halt to the biden administration's vaccine mandate. we have more with kenneth starr coming up but we have a lot more tonight regarding breaking news. look like chris cuomo will have a lot more time on his hands. cnn finally sidelined its 9:00 pm host temporarily and not for his abysmal ratings, turns of the allegations are he was coaching his big bro, andrew cuomo during his sexual harassment scandal and even worse it is alleged that cuomo helped dig up dirt on his brother's accusers. whatever the truth is here and we will find out, after years of throwing stones at donald trump and other innocent people questioning their morality cuomo has seen his own glasshouse shatter. we are still hoping selfishly for the reunion on qvc in the near future. doctor fauci is still feigning ignorance on the staggering science about natural immunity to covid. and moments we will set the record straight once and for all. with a winter covid surge see me in the works read states waiver or stay the course prioritizing freedom over promises of safety. governor kate reeves has a message for his fellow governors next. .. mom, hurry! our show's gonna start soon! i promised i wouldn't miss the show and mommy always keeps her promises. oh, no! seriously? hmm! it's not the same if she's not here. oh. -what the. oh my goodness! i don't suppose you can sing, can you? ♪ the snow's comin' down ♪ -mommy? ♪ i'm watching it fall ♪ watch the full story at www.xfinity.com/sing2 >> what d say i had covid there are i am in the. >> the issue of his you've been infected how long your protection lasts, it is true to be fair that when you do get infected you have a degree of protection that is substantial, the question is what is the durability of that? if you do get a vaccine the love you your protection goes way, way up. laura: doctor fauci is conveniently ignoring what his own employer said about natural immunity, the nih funded a groundbreaking study that found the immune systems of 95% of people who recovered from covid and durable memory of the virus eight month after infection. the evidence is only gotten stronger as time has gone on. in october, 835 studies established that natural immunity was equal to or stronger than the vaccine. joining me is epidemiology spaced in dallas, texas. what game is fauci playing on the question of natural immunity? >> the burden of proof lies on those who think a second infection is possible. there are no cases of documented severe second infections combining documented by pcr confirmed by androgen testing and sequencing testing on two or more locations separated by 6 months of time. with that rigor, it is never happened and what we have is a situation, doctor alexander summarized it, 135 studies demonstrating natural immunity is robust, and durable, and at this time people who had the infection it is over with, they recovered and don't need to improve their immunity, they can go on with no concerns of getting a second time. laura: the chief medical officer of moderna is using the oma crime variant's emergence, certainly looks like pump up the stock price. >> i don't think it is likely there will be no protection from these vaccines against a cron but we may see waning, the question could become will we need to have boosting? in my professional opinion we will, as a regular thing. laura: we need it or does moderna need it? what is the evidence of any of this? >> the oma cron variant looks like an evolutionary mistake a 30 mutations in the spike protein, three deletions and one insertion, almost certainly the receptor body domain has been changed, it is not going to be as infectious. the early reports from the university to indicate the transmissibility index of the oma cron variant is less and delta. doesn't look like it will have the evolutionary efficiency to become a dominant strain. it will be like the lambda and epsilon variants previously described in the recent year. it would become a minor variant. i wouldn't be looking for ramping up on new vaccines or boosters to target this variant until we have more data. laura: but they are doing that. a number of vaccine manufacturers are on the hunt for this variant but won't it be the case this variant, we've moved on to another variant by the time the next one comes out? seems a constant game of musical chairs with the vaccine. >> we have 99% delta. current vaccines are not keyed against delta. they are having a terrible time in terms of getting control, another delta peak, it is premature to jump on this variant until we see, the initial read is low transmissibility. this arose among those were vaccinated, travelers crossing so it is clear this variant is an evolutionary mistake that arose within the vaccinated. laura: the bottom line buttoning up the natural immunity question, when fauci says we don't know about the durability of natural immunity that is not true. we do know it is durable or stronger than the vaccine, correct? >> it is more durable. the vaccine is coded against one protein. natural immunity provides antibodies against 27 proteins to 100,000 stronger t cell immunity. sars covid 2 is more, the immunity is basically indefinite, 17 years of immunity. i suspect the same thing, one and done, we need to remove the fear over americans and over the world about getting the infection over and over again. if it was possible we would have seen millions and millions of bona fide second cases of people in the ventilator and it is not happening. laura: you hit it out of the park, thank you. with that a crime variant circulating the globe. cities and states are slipping back into lockdown mindset. for example new york's governor canceled you active surgery in anticipation of this new variant and spiking cases but even before the oma con showed up santa cruz county, california issued an indoor mask mandate that applies to private homes. what remains to be seen as how red states will react to the new variant or a surge in winter cases. will they stay the course and protect liberty? joining these kate read, willie's. state governors and would be tyrant mayors, or is this their new addiction? >> thanks for having me on. they will continue to issue lockdowns, to do mandates, the requirements in blue cities and blue states as long as they can maintain control is the democrat party believes in centralized decision-making where as we believe in the individual and telling people the truth and making them make the best decision for themselves. the democrat party believes in centralized decision-making, they would prefer to make all decisions in washington dc but if they can to do that they are happy to do it in the governor's office for the mayor's office or other areas. one of the things that is clear about this new variant is we don't have enough data to surmise anything. some decisions are being made lead you to the only thing you can come to his they just want more control over individuals lives. laura: red states have gone back to normal, back to normal for a long time but this is from today's washington post. we are never going back to normal. i don't think i ever get on a plane without wearing a mask, a democratic strategists working closely with biden during the 2008 presidential campaign. we see it in washington dc area with people walking on trails, driving by themselves with masks on, 2 or 3 masks, sometimes they have a face shield and a mask. they want this to be the normal for the foreseeable future or forever so how do red state governors expand the liberty movement while all this other nonsense is going on? >> we have to be steadfast in our beliefs. i have been attacked by everyone across america that believes in taking away individual freedoms because i had the willingness and intestinal fortitude to stand up and say in our state in mississippi we will protect individual liberties, we will protect freedom, we will give our individual mississippians the truth and that is one of the problems you talk about in this show, why can't the leaders in the country and the biden administration tell americans the truth and let them come to their own conclusions and make their own decisions rather than fear mongering, that's one of the challenges we had in this debate, you look at the institutions such as the cdc, the leaders in those organizations, change their position so often that it has gotten difficult and a lot of people quit listening to them because they question their credibility. in other states, certainly states across the southeast where we have republican governors we try to tell people the truth, we try to be honest with them and tell them where cases are going, what we were doing to combat the challenges because in our state and many others across the country led by republicans we recognize we had to make sure first of all we were never going to illuminate all transmission. laura: you got to protect our way of life to put it bluntly we are of time. you have to protect our way of life or what is the point of doing any of this. >> this country was founded upon those principles and it is imperative we give back. laura: the new normal is not the american way. thank you. we will check back soon. congresswoman lauren bogert seems to be the only thing the media, democrats in her own party care about. why is that? because they caused each and every one of them. democrat policies of fails, one party's order for one year and they are failing every single american, focusing on or outrage rather than the outrage of the american people who are suffocating under biden's field regime. laura: isn't it important, we all say things that are a little bit outrageous now and then. you are young, just arrived in washington. they will come after you because they -- you are in america first conservative, they don't like you, never did and never going to, you're never going to win accolades from them, they hate you but you can't give a bat, to hit you over the head but you did with those comments. do you recognize that? >> i think my statement reflects exactly that. i didn't apologize to appease ilhan omar or the left or nancy pelosi or anyone else. i did that because i'm here to be a good congresswoman for the people who sent me here to be there voice, people who sent me to secure their freedom. they know i will defend israel and support our police unlike others who call israelis terrorists and want to dismantle the police, i will protect your right to keep and bear arms unlike ilhan omar who supports the government coming to your door and confiscating your guns i believe life is the most precious gift from god and others like ilhan omar voted for abortion up to and even after a child is born. i support law and order and she supports ending cash bail and putting more hardened criminals on the street like the psycho who ran over children in waukesha, wisconsin. these policies are dangerous. the policies i disagree with ilhan omar are dangerous and her policies attack our allies and support terrorists. laura: why don't you challenge her to a debate? >> i would love a debate. laura: we will do it on this show. >> fantastic. laura: i will step aside. >> these are the dangerous policies crippling our nation, and it is disheartening to see someone who hates america serving in the united states representative. i love america and that is the fundamental difference here and i would be happy to accept the invitation to have a debate on your show with congresswoman ilhan omar. >> she's not going to let it go. here's a little peace. >> we cannot pretend it hate speech from leading politicians doesn't have real consequences. the truth is anti-muslim hate is on the rise here at home and around the world. laura: she was elected to congress. a response to this, are you anti-muslim? >> absolutely not. i apologize to the muslim community and ilhan omar brought up death threats and i fully believe that man is to be found by capitol police and held accountable just like the men who called with death threats against my family, my staff, my restaurant in the past few days, they need to be found and held accountable and you know how that is going to happen? by our brave law enforcement officers who i fully support and who she is disparaged and worked to defund. i certainly do not criticize anyone's religion or faith and that's why i released my statement to the muslim community. >> one would think even what has happened in minneapolis, the rising crime, murder rates, everything that is happening in minneapolis post george floyd one would think congresswoman ilhan omar would focus on that especially after the defund the police thing went down in flames, that referendum but you are the focus of ilhan omar. >> the policies are failed and even minnesota is seeing that in that is why we are seeing the defund the police movement go away because we do need our law enforcement officers. laura: going down in flames. we got to run but we appreciate your clearing things up and coming on the show tonight. democratic senators are now threatening the supreme court over roe and biden's vaccine mandates, kenneth starr weighing on both next. only $11. dealdashr and honest bidding site. this i-pad sold for less than $43. this kitchenaid mixer sold for less than $26. a 4k television for under $2. a macbook pro for under $16. this playstation 5 sold for less than a dollar. and brand new cars for less than $900. dealdash.com offers hundreds of auctions every day. all auctions start at $0 and everything must go. and don't forget we offer a full 90 day money back guarantee on your first bidpack purchase. i won these bluetooth headphones for $20. i got these three suitcases for less than $40. and shipping is always free. go to dealdash.com today and see how much you can save. there are auctions going on right now. so, what are you waiting for? >> we may disagree on this i think there are six. i think john roberts, the chief justice is an originalist but is an incrementalist. there are times some of us get frustrated with the way he votes but there are six but tomorrow's case which brings up roe versus wade will be a huge test which maybe i'm wrong. laura: four decades plus after row, lots of fancy dinners hosted by the federalist society. millions of dollars donated to the federalist society. a lot of great people involved. six republican appointees on this court and yet you and i are sitting here wondering whether they are going to vote to confirm the idea that our founders in the constitution believed it was a constitutional right to end life as we know it in the womb. that is staggering if that is what any of those six turn out to believe. >> i doubt that any of the six believe that at all. the question becomes if you think roe v wade, you took an oath to uphold the constitution of the united states and give your best judgment so if you sincerely think roe versus wade was wrongly decided and was as brett kavanaugh has put it in describing what kinds of long decisions deserve to be overruled, egregiously wrong, if you agree with that proposition you should in fact vote to over rule, but what is as you well know is guarding against that is the idea of the court's presidents have to be taken very seriously, a half-century of law and are we going to disrupt that? that is an enormous judgment call at least for three of the justices. this may be one of those 333 splits we sign justice barrett's first term. laura: that is where it goes i don't have any words. something i mentioned at the top earlier tonight. another federal judge blocked by the covid vaccine mandate for healthcare workers across the country, louisiana decision. these losses over the mandates keep piling up. how does biden's legal team every think this is going to pass legal muster? >> hope springs eternal i guess because they are having to scramble for example in this case, the judge's 34 page opinion today was very strong unconstitutional power, does the agency have the power to the statute etc. but one thing it shows was it took two months to issue this rule, it is not an emergency and you should have gone through the process -- eric: we have a hard break, stay with us. moving forward. hey, kevin! hey, guys! they have customized solutions to help our family's special needs... hey, graduation selfie! well done! and voya stays by our side, keeping us on track for retirement... ...giving us confidence in our future... ...and in kevin's. you ready for your first day on the job?
