instead harris is focused on someone else's border 5,000 miles away from where she is supposed to be. that is exactly what kamala does, runs far away from the border as she physically, possibly can. maybe if she was in texas instead of france, she would see the body count stacking up alongside the southern border where drug cartels are committing horrific murders and leaving the victims on the u.s. side of the divide. or if she was in the rio grand valley she could do something to stop the new caravan, about 10,000 migrants getting ready to make their way to america. if she was in la joya, texas, she wouldn't even need to wait for them to get here. there is about 2,000 migrants, i'm sorry 200 migrants already-that already crossed the border this morning. many of whom will be released into the u.s. with nothing more than a notice to report. and that doesn't even take into account these illegals who took to the trees last night in an effort to avoid border patrol. i guess they forgot the cbp can climb trees, too. if the vice president and the federal government won't do anything to stop this chaos, the people of texas will. now, on tuesday night, texas dps and the texas national guard arrested a behemoth smuggling operation using a raft illegally across the border. ' 7 adult males captured. including this 45-year-old felon from el salvador this guy had previously been deported from the u.s. for sexual assault. then you have this 17-year-old human smuggler who was piloting the raft who has two previous smuggling arrests on his record. the people of texas will not take this anarchy anymore. they are stepping up where the biden administration are failing. lets' just hope it's not too late. fox news correspondent bill melugin joins us live from the border with the latest. bill, i hear you got some breaking news from the rio grande valley sector. >> yeah, lawrence, good evening to you. that's exactly right. some concerning news to report to you. just a short time ago here, border patrol in the rio grande valley report energy a span of just 14 hours, they arrested four confirmed members of the msnbc gang. four members in just 14 hours, just here in the rio grande valley sector alone. that just goes with the theme of what's been happening down here just in fiscal year 2021, just here in the rio grande valley sector they arrested almost 2,000 criminals that included more than 180 sex offenders and more than 160 gang members. so there is constantly a criminal element making a run on the border down here. our brave agents are able to catch some of them but they can't be everywhere at once. there are some who will end up getting through. >> lawrence: bill, can you highlight? because earlier today there was about 200 of those folks that crossed those illegal migrant crossings crossing the border. are they paying the cartels? how do these folks get across? >> yeah, for the most part they're. almost every person you see come across is going to have an orange or purple or yellow or red wristband on. that's whether you are up in del rio or down here in the rio grande valley. typically the way it works they do have to pay a cartel or smuggling organization to get across here to the united states. criminal ernesto privatizes cartels gangs or smuggling organizations all have their smuggling routes. that's why we never see haitians or venezuelans down here in the rio grande valley. if you notice they are always coming down through the del rio area were the cartel that typically works with the haitians and that population, they are more up north: down here more of the gulf cartel. it's kind of different all along the border. as you mentioned, we did have a group of 200 come across right here where we are standing this morning. those were mostly those family units literally looking for border patrol. they will come up to us and say where's immigration? where's border patrol? they want to turn themselves in because they know right now under the biden administration family units have a really good chance of just being released into the united states with a future court date and our court system is so backlogged right now they might not even have to see judge or have their case heard for several years. >> lawrence: do those folks that get those notices, i know they are not required to. sometimes they do get their court date. do they show up, ever? >> sometimes they do. sometimes they don't. and there's a difference. they can get what's called an nta notice to appear. that is an order you must show up on this day at this time. typically if they didn't do that then ice would go after them. we all know that the biden administration has really handcuffed ice in what they can and can't do. they really only want ice going after aggravated felons and national security threats not necessarily people skipping their court dates. what border patrol has been doing recently now is giving people ntrs instead of ntas, ntr notice to report. those are quickly done in 20 minutes. that you will is a request. police show up to ice office in a city of your choosing within the next 60 days. it's not an order. it's a request. >> lawrence: the federal government telling people illegally entered into the country. please just show up. unbelievable. bill melugin the best reporter on the ground best sources. also here tonight stephen miller senior former white house senior adviser and afl legal founder. i have to get your comment on the vice president. she is overseas talking about immigration when she should be here. what's your quick reaction to that? >> that's globalism at its worst. america going around the world defending the borders much every single country but our own. that's a big part of the reason that donald trump was elected is that we want to press our government to secure our border here in the united states. this administration hasn't just failed to secure the border. they have purposefully, maliciously opened that border in order to facilitate illegal entry into our country in record smashing numbers. >> lawrence: you know, steven, have heard it time and time again my sources tell me this, you brief the administration that if they continue with the actions that they talked about on the campaign trail, that it was going to be severe consequences for america. that people are just going to be flooding through did. they take heed to any of those warnings when you guys were doing the transition? >> no. in fact, as you talk to people who were senior level career officials, they warned the administration of every potential disastrous deadly consequence of removing, rescinding or terminating those policies. but they did it anyway because, and i can't underscore this enough, they want large scale illegal immigration. in other words, if they wanted to, tomorrow, they could reinstate remain in mexico, they could reinstate our safe thirds with the northern triangle countries which allow us to send people back there right away, no delay. they could reinstate our asylum blocks so that people can't commit asylum fraud. they can do everything that we did to have functionally zero, zero catch and release. but they don't want that because open borders maximum migration is the objective. >> lawrence: you know, stephen part of the criticism they said the trump administration hated these people. the trump administration was responsible for the climate. how you cannot see the climate that these kids are going through right now? i mean record numbers. every month they hit a new record. they break the record for the month before. these kids are having heat stroke, they're being pumped with birth control. they are being raped. they are being dropped like amazon packages across the border. that's what we're dealing with at the border. >> this administration is engaged in criminal conduct. you heard bill. who is running these illegal cross border entries?
