do christopher steele family. steve hilton wants to talk about what joe biden is doing overseas. how his trip may go. james murray what he looks like without a shirt on. impractical joker take his shirt off all depends if we get to all the stories at the end of the show because he goes on the clock. meanwhile, this: we start in washington, d.c. where it's becoming increasingly clear that the democratic party doesn't give a damn about you. you got americans becoming increasingly concerned about education. their children, inflation. chaos at the border and gas prices. what is happening in washington? democrats aren't even listening or even pretending to. it doesn't look like their agenda matches up, to i don't know, anybody's agenda except theirs? massachusetts rep ayanna pressley's office phone has been sent to voice mail for the last 18 months. and one of the things she says as she listens to her constituents? i hope her constituents haven't needed anything for the last 18 months like, i don't know, answers on why the groceries are so expensive. gas is double, and a whole lot more like the supply chain and christmas. instead presley' sights set on something entirely different. >> care is infrastructure. house something infrastructure. climate justice is infrastructure. paid leave is infrastructure. disability justice is infrastructure. let's pass the build back better act. >> brian: all right. you got the gist. she doesn't care what the people who actually elected her have to say or even f. they even have a road to drive to. instead following the lead of aoc and other squad members, progressives as they try to push through this massive spending bill reads more like a progressive wish list which they currently can't even approve because there is not enough of their wishes granted on that list. which is over 1600 pages. it seems like the government is doing everything possible to make you, dependent on them. just look at how the white house envisions your life. they have actually released this comic called the life of linda. focuses on a single mom and a son making $40,000 a year and shows the government control them from the cradle to grave. let's show a few of them and look at together. it's really exciting. let's start here. it's time because you have a child tax credit to go shopping. now you can afford it with that $300 per month. after shopping, i want you to drop your son, who is supposed to be 3 but looks like he is 13 at preschool for some high quality free pre-k care. and then let's take a look at free community college. guess what it yields? you learn a trade to get that union government job where you build windmills. that is indeed the goal. i don't know, is that the aspiration of every young woman to be a single parent desperately trying to grab hold of a government job? this is the same government that has no problem taking your hard earned dollars and pledging it to people beyond our borders it brings me to the next story. case in point, "wall street journal" today. the big story, i didn't even think it was true. the biden administration in talks right now to offer illegal immigrant families separated during the trump administration $450,000, maybe more in personal compensation to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma by separating them at the border, something that was reversed by the president through an executive order the president at the time, president trump. you heard that right. 450,000 a person. and migrants are getting the news that you can cash in on traveling with children. that's going to be a go sign for everybody else. as the a.p. reports the new caravan coming from mexico is full of children. so forget making windmills. apparently all you have to do in america to get rich is cross the border alone and then send for your parents later. think of that message it sends to others in other countries. as tax dollars of hardworking americans like you are going to be handed over to legit criminals who flat out broke our law. senator tom cotton put it very well in a quote on a tweet saying this: pay a burglar who broke into your home for the psychological trauma they endured while doing the crime. remember, they came to our border illegally. so, how does this end up? who is advising the president? texas democrat congressman henry cuellar broke it down on the radio with me today. remember, democratic congressman from texas. listen. >> he has surrounded himself on the immigration issue with people that have background in -- i will call them immigration activists. the administration gets advice from career people and from the political appointees. the career people in homeland and other places they get it. i talk to them. they get it. but, you know, you got political people that make those type of decisions and it's unfortunate that they are not listening to the career people, the men and women in green and blue and other folks that have been doing this for so many years. >> brian: so you understand that if you actually wanted to solve the problem and you don't want to deal with republicans, you have a democrat who lives on the border on a border state representing democratic constituents who put him in office every year. he has the answer to the border. he goes to other countries. and he actually stays in his country. and then tries to get through to a democratic president and he doesn't even take his call. it's now open business for illegals crossing. i want to bring all this to the attention of stephen miller, former white house senior adviser and america first legal founder. steve, henry cuellar an example of a democrat who cares more about his country than his party. we need more of that. >> we do. in fact, a single senate democrat if they were to speak up and have the power to shut this whole thing down, just think about it for a second, 50/50 senate. if manchin or sinema or kelly or jon tester picked up the phone and called the president and said i'm not voting for any of your bills or know of your nominees unless you change course on the border they would have border check mated. it amazing not one senate democrat who has had a critical word to say about what's happening right now. >> brian: it is crazy. because you can go back and roll clips from dick durbin in 2008. joe biden in 2004. talking about the need to do all of these things. chuck schumer, harry reid. steven, talk about the $450,000 for separating families at the border? not a good move. i know the message you guys were trying to send. but it was quickly reversed. but are they worthy of $450,000 of family? >> well, first of all, that's insane. secondly, this issue is widely misunderstood. you are talking about individuals who commit a federal crimes who were criminally prosecuted and who, during the pendency of their incarceration, were separated from their families. there are literally millions with an m., millions of american citizens who have been criminally prosecuted and separated from their families. for example, v.p. harris was the attorney general of california. she presided over many low level drug offense prosecutions. there are thousands and thousands of families living in her home state of california who were separated not for days but more months or years for drug offenses. are they getting any kind of reparations payment? any kind of settlement? i don't think so. no american citizen who goes to jail is then given reparations let alone half a million dollars per family member. nothing like this has ever been attempted in the hills industry of the world. >> brian: i watched "60 minutes" do immigration story. i thought okay they are going to talk about the 1.7 million illegals we got instead of the god aways. whatever focused to those families separated at the border? this is something looking for political gain. they don't want this story to go away. do you think this is pure politics or do you think this is a heart for those who can't find their mom? >> well, first of all, again, the individuals that you are talking about that were criminally prosecuted, when they finished serving their time in federal jail, or federal prison as the case may be, some of them were opted to return home and leave their family members here and some opted to go home with their family members. that was a choice that they made. as happens all the time in the immigration context. any time you deport somebody, that's a choice that provided to them if they have a relative that for some reason is able to stay in the country. so, all of this nonsense that you have heard about family separation is a lie. let's be very clear. let's get to the heart of this issue. donald trump shut down child trafficking. donald trump shut down child smuggling. donald trump saved the lives of tens of thousands from the horrors of being put into the hands of coyotes, sexually assaulted, raped, brutalized, beaten, joe biden is inflicting on these families every single day. how many kids are sold into sex trafficking? how many kids are sold into labor trafficking. how many kids are raped and beaten as a result of joe biden's policies. he is a moral monster. what he is doing has a heart for no one but the democrat party and its desire, they believe, to import voters, period. that's what this is about. >> brian: right, steve, the word in the white house don't bring up afghanistan and the border. if they don't talk about it, it will go away. that is absolutely wrong. it's anti-leadership. not even bad leadership. stephen miller, thanks so much. >> thank you. >> brian: ohio senate candidate and author bestselling author j.d. vance. j.d., what do you take from how i started? it doesn't seem like the agenda of the democrats is even listening to what the people in america care about and maybe virginia backs up my belief. >> yeah, you are absolutely right. i think that joe biden is treating his citizens not as fellow citizens in a constitutional republic. is he basically treating them like a colonial occupying power. he has complete disregard for their concerns, disregard for their feelings for their viewpoints. i mean, look at the end of the day, if you are an orphan or a widow of somebody who get killed in combat for our country, you don't get the same payout as if you broke our immigration laws, immigrated illegally across the southern border that joe biden has given you. what signal does that send to northwestern citizens that if you fight and die for this country your life is not as worthwhile as if you broke our laws to illegally cross our border? >> brian: all true. j.d., success leaves clues. and whether youngkin wins or not and looks like he is up oby 8 and terry mcauliffe's camp is panics. if success leaves clues, is one of the clues the success don't you surrogates use yourself? don't talk about a country if you are running for a state? >> absolutely. that's one of the clues and another clue is don't shirk from the culture war. i think for republicans very often the media doesn't want us to talk about things like critical race theory, things like gender theory. things like mask mandates at school. but glenn youngkin is running on critical race theory and he may very well win a blue state. i think this is frankly one of the takeaways of donald trump's political success is that when you actually fight on the issues that your base cares about, you can often win a lot of people in the middle and get elected to an important office. we shouldn't run away from the issues that the media tells to us run away from. >> we have often they want us to ignore those issues because they realize they are politically powerful. >> brian: yeah, going to be interesting what happens next tuesday because there is no doubt about it, nationalizing the virginia election, blew up in terry mcauliffe's face. j.d. vance, as you try to be the next senator from ohio, best of luck. >> thanks, brian. >> brian: coming up straight ahead democrats are desperate and resorting to dirty tricks in the v.a. governor race. i'm not kidding. they admitted to it. who would you rather see spend a billion dollars of owrtsd nancy pelosi cash on equity or elon musk who wants to send civilization to mars. vivek ramaswamy is here next with that very question. i hope he has an answer. ♪ ♪ hi, i'm debra. i'm from colorado. i've been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years. i'm a mother of four-- always busy. i was starting to feel a little foggy. just didn't feel like things were as sharp as i knew they once were. i heard about prevagen and then i started taking it about two years now. started noticing things a little sharper, a little clearer. i feel like it's kept me on my game. i'm able to remember things. i'd say give it a try. prevagen. healthier brain. better life. on the other hand, you are laying off cops and firefighters, extending call times, putting people's lives in danger. bill de blasio and every little authoritarian into these mandates you are a public health threat. make no mistake about it. >> brian: we have heard immunity being up 61-nothing, doing everything make sure there is a shut out. the numbers are so positive their they don't plush them anymore. next naacp will real quick has said stay out of texas. it's bad for women. it's bad for minorities. i encourage all professional athletes, men and women, not to re-sign with the mavericks, the rockets, name a professional team, the cowboys, the astros, the texans, what do you think? they are some of the most the biggest population that suffers under abortion in this sun country and here is the naacp saying a state protecting children from being murdered is a problem for black americans. but, on the other hand, brian, on the bright side, smoke is going to listen to this. no sports team is going to suffer no. athletes is going to listen to this. it's a whisper in a forest. it will effect nobody. >> brian: jason, don't you love the fact that baseball has to deal with the world series in atlanta? wasn't good enough all-star game. good enough for world stage in biggest series. your thoughts? >> yeah, of course, i mean i love that they list a whole bunch of groups of people aren't safe in texas. i can think of one group very safe in texas right now. they are unborn children. they will not be harmed in the state of texas if these laws continue. look, push politics aside, i don't care what the naacp has to say about politics. why don't you allow the people who are athletes make decisions for their own. clearly going in the direction of just forcing people into taking certain perspectives or shaming them if they don't. >> will: by the way, brian, judging on the license plates driving around the state of texas where i live. no one is listening, everyone is moving to texas. >> brian: i was having to conversation with the a owners they said don't worry about it it's not a big deal. for the record, jason, you would not know this, will did not tuck in his shirt untuckit shirt with the blazer. that is the story the weekend show wouldn't tell. >> i kind of guessed that. >> brian: breaking news all the time. come on will. james murray, get ready, you are on the clock. ♪ ♪ r grandpa. voya doesn't just help me get to retirement... ...they're with me all the way through it. voya. be confident to and through retirement. when you're driving a lincoln, stress seems to evaporate into thin air. which leaves us to wonder, where does it go?
