This started in march when you had private Facebook Group with several members in it that were trying to plot against parents and infiltrate groups and publicly expose us and hack websites, all that kind of stuff. Well, you know what theyre taking that seriously and they are going out and trying to intimidate participants that are pushing back against the School Board. I received a letter in june that was clearly design to harass an intimidate another member of our organization. They sent a letter to her workplace saying that she was a racist, they had pictures of her and now just this week theres been a third letter sent to somebodys workplace accusing somebody of committing crimes and all sorts of nefarious behavior and they are all anonymous. Its clear that this is something that was generated, you know, through what they see as fighting people that arent standing up against racism and quite frankly its scary, it should be embarrassing for the people that are doing it because what we are trying to do is talk to our government and push back against our government meanwhile you have these private citizens that are allied with the School Board that are out there harassing parent through quite frankly interstate mail. Mike interesting. So we had a School Meeting in loudon county, virginia this week and you had parents frustrated and venting about critical Race Theory and masks and also vaccine mandates. Whats the level of frustration right now in your community with the School Board . I mean, its through the roof and, you know, we talk about critical Race Theory a lot but so many issues that have really popped up since the fight began from the transgender policy that they passed in august just this past week they passed a new Dress Code that is woefully unconstitutional and you have athletes to get vaccinations in order to participate in sports. Theres a whole host of issues that the School Board really refuses to listen to parents and thats what the fight is about. Its about ensuring that our elected representatives give parents a seat at the table and they listen to what we are talking about and they work with us and try and develop policies that are in the best interest of the children. Ultimately thats not what we are seeing. We are seeing a School Board captured by the politics of the moment. Mike we are nearly a month into the new school year, any reports of critical Race Theory in classrooms in your community so far this year . Yeah, we have certainly seen some of that. We havent seen as much as we did last year because we dont have access to the distant Learning Modules but what we have seen is a lot of, you know, issues where teachers are asking kids what their pronouns are and we have seen a lot more on the Transgender And Pronoun issue that is coming out of the schools. Just this past week a video came out about a teacher who gave a full lecture about sex and, you know, thats not just something that public schools and governmentrun schools should be doing. Thats something that should be in the realm of the family and let parents have those conversations not children have those conversations. I will say latly that there was a debate this week between virginia gubernatorial candidate and one of the most interesting things that came out in mcculloughs term, he implemented critical Race Theory through the department of through the Department Of Education and just now we are starting to get to the tipping point.
