This is a new development. A fellow camper discovered a video that she took of a Gravel Road that people pull over and camp, near the park, on August 27th. Once this woman realized what she had, she shared it immediately. Listen. We came across a White Van that had florida plates. A small White Van. We were going to stop and say hi because were from florida too. But the van was completely dark, there was nobody there. Reporter now, this is where the fbi has put out a map asking for he anyone who was in this specific area during the August 27th through August 30th timeframe to be on the lookout. Law enforcement has that area completely shut down to the public while the they investigate this area and this very rugged terrain today. This new clue, which came overnight, gives teams an even greater bullseye to hone in on their search for any signs of gabby or clues into her disappearance. We were given exclusive access to a boat on the Rio Grande as we watched groups of hundreds of migrants crossing the Rio Grande, walking over the river, and illegally entering the united states. We went over there this morning, back out here live, and there was nobody crossing. All the crews are set up there, it does appear that location has been plugged up. Those policies of the stay in mexico and not allowing criminals to stay and stopping this Catch And Release program that biden has reinstituted. Every policy that he implemented seems to me designed to create more problems, more illegal immigration, more crime, just the opposite of what the Trump Administration had done. I commend president trump. Those policies worked. These poll of sis seem like theyre designed to to do just the opposite and thats what theyre doing. Arthel if the biden administration were to follow former president trumps lead on that, how soon would that message get to the migrants who are looking to leave whatever conditions they have in their country, to come here . Look, i think if the president came out now, i think if he went to the border now and met with people and then sent the message, hey, we are going to implement the policies that worked, the policies i implemented have not worked, we are going to go back to policies we know have been proven, were going to start building the wall, i think that would immediately start resonating with people and people would realize, hey, you cant come here and just walk over the border and not be sent back. Arthel and again, your point here that it would immediately resonate. But to do you fear that some folks are already on the way in progress, their journey is in progress . How do you stop them and where do you stop them . You make a good point. I dont think the Trump Administration was able to stop this overnight. It was built up. It was the message that was sent and actions have to follow the message. So the biden administration would have to send the message which would stop, which potentially would stop people from starting to come. But then they would have to actually follow through on federal law and follow through on the actions that they promised if this is going to work longterm and thats what i would hope they would do because we are all suffering. You know, my take is weve got to get this pandemic under control and more importantly weve got to put it behind us. 1500, 2,000 americans are dying every Day And Weve got to do everything we can. A majority of americans support Vaccine Mandates. Weve got Vaccine Mandates for all sorts of other conditions. I understand it feels like a lot for some people. But right now i think anything we can do to get this pandemic under control and put it behind us is a good thing to do including these mandates. Arthel a thank you for that. I want to go to the Fda Advisory Panels recommendation. Do you agree with snit with it . And how soon do you think the fda will expand the demo and recommend third shots for everyone and is a third shot a good idea . I do agree with the decision. I was predicting this is where the advisory committee would go. This is where the data is strongest. If youre over 65, over 60 from the israeli data or if you have significant comorbid conditions or if youre a Frontline Worker like a healthcare worker, it makes sense to get a third shot. I think the data on that is very clear. The question is, what about the 20yearold healthy person who already had two shots . I think there the data is not as clear. Over time we may get data for that group and that group may need a third shot as well. Right now you we have plenty to do by getting the higher risk individuals their third shot. Arthel so hold off on the expanding the pool if you which. So right now i want to Take A Look at new Fox News polling, out this morning. When asked is the Coronavirus Vaccine safe and effective, Take A Look, 65 Say Yes. Pop it on the screen. 29 say no. And then when you break it down to political parties, 83 of democrats and 50 of republicans believe the vaccine is safe and effective. With 13 of democrats and 43 of republicans saying it is not. So dr. Jha, is there any advice you can provide to persuade antivaxxers or the vaccine hesitant . Yeah, what i would say to folks is first of all this is not a partisan issue, it shouldnt be a partisan issue. The vaccine doesnt care. The virus doesnt care what your political affiliation is. And if youre unsure about the information, look at what doctors are doing. 96, 97 of doctors have gotten fully vaccinated. Basically physicians are voting with their feet on this, theyre doing it for themselves and their families and so you can basically cut through all the noise and just focus on what doctors are doing. Theres no question in my mind, i got vaccinated as soon as i was eligible. My entire family is vaccinated. It is the right thing to do for me and my family, i think it is for every american family. Arthel whats your forecast for the Fall And Winter the months ahead and is it different for those vaccinated and those who are not. It is unnoterly different. What unfortunately different. What weve seen in the summer surge, it was mostly unvaccinated that got sick and in the hospital. Delta is a very, very consistent contagiousvirus. I wouldnt want the Delta Variant without having a vaccine in my system. I think well see Breakthrough Cases and rising infections in the vaccinated. What worries me is the unvaccinated folks that will get very sick this Fall And Winter. Arthel many americans went ahead and got the third booster shot, theyre not in the first group. Are they at risk because they got that shot . No, if they got the third shot already they should be protected. You shouldnt get it too early.
