Weve got to be vigilant there and make sure that people are using them in the spirit that theyre intended and not abusing them or asking for exemptions when they dont aply. Who knew what, when and who knew that this could potentially be the end result, what weve seen fall out here and is that one of the things that you want to ask . Yeah, its absolutely find out as a nation when we had intelligence and what we knew. We knew we saw this coming. We have some of the best intelligence capabilities in the world. We have Satellite Imagery that you can see everything thats happening on the ground and they just stood by and watched the taliban take over afghanistan and actually didnt want to sound the alarm and get people out because they knew it would alert that afghanistan was falling. So they intentionally did things that stranded our american citizens behind enemy lines. We still have people there. And whats interesting is in the beginning when the administration was giving us numbers, they were saying, well, theres between 10 and 15,000 americans that are still left in afghanistan and the last number i saw is we got 5500 you out. Im not a mathematician. Im sure my 10yearold Son coffing out we have 10,000 people left there. The administration is saying we only have a couple hundred people. You see hundreds of people show up in all these places, either they know and theyre intentionally lying to The American people or they dont know because we dont have people on the ground anymore and hes negotiating with terrorists to get The American citizens out. Children right now represent more than a quarter, 26. 8 of weekly covid19 cases nationwide. So with the fact that were waiting when we can get the approval for Pfizers Vaccine for younger children and even seeing when moderna might get for older children, was do you make of timing of this . When do you see this potentially happening . I think dr. Gotleib is right on this. He is on the board of pfizer. He has inside information on this. We heard from other people from the government. Well see the approval for 5 to 11 sometime in october, probably towards the end for pfizer. Keep in mind, the fda has to look over the data and theyve got to look over it very carefully because as you know the 12 to 17 crowd has had rare side effects. Theyre using a lower dose if the 5 to 11yearold group which is really good. I would like to see the Interval Interlengthen between the first and second dose. Via feeling Thats Part of the issue in terms of how long the vaccine lasts but the main thing is that theyre giving a much lower dose of the vaccine which is really going to lead to much fewer side effects. I agree with your point. We saw 250,000 new cases among children last week alone. 26 of all cases now of covid in the united states are children. We definitely need to have that vaccine available as soon as possible. Jillian okay. Yeah. Delta variant definitely kicking into high gear it seems like. Lets talk about this for a second. This is shocking the Vaccine Mandate Resignation Force a Lewis County general hospital to pause baby deliveries, this is a county in new york. Well pull up the statistics on who is vaccinated at the hospital. 27 of the hospitals workers are not vaccinated, thats 165 people. I mean, doctor, to pause deliveries, how can you do that . I thought about this all night. Its a really important topic. Im glad that were doing it today. Its a hard one to have an answer for but ill tell you this. I do think Healthcare Workers should all be vaccinated because god forbid somebody brought covid to a woman in delivery. So youve got to side on that. But what about the issue of natural immunity, people, Healthcare Workers who had covid, who got over it who have antibodies now. What about somebody who had one shot, had a problem with the shot, has a partial immunity. All of that has to be factored in. The hospital will hire other people. What kind of conversation was had with the employees . Is it a threat . What kind of conversation . I think this is an extremely safe vaccine and i have had a lot of success just talking to people about what their fears are. I hate the idea of somebody losing their job over this. Jillian the odds right now recent polling showing they are in favor of Gavin Newsom to stay in office. What do you think is going to happen . How do you see this playing out . You know, i think that isnt over yet. I think there are going to be a lot of people who are going to come out and vote on tuesday. I would like to tell all the voters this that the governors main job is to help the people in california make the Community And Family better and safer and he has failed to do it. The governor has failed to do his number one job, which is to make life better for everybody here in california. We have a major increase in crime here in california. And the governor has supported defunding the police. A major increase in homicides, and assaults. Governor newsom supported releasing 76,000 inmates from State Prison and 60,000 of them are serious or violent felons and they are going to go into our communities he didnt allow our children to go to school Governor Newsom has failed regarding the homeless situation. He hasnt had anything to say about improving the quality of life in california, especially with the homeless. Most recently, Governor Newsoms parole board, who he appoints authorized the Parole And Release of the assassin of robert f. Kennedy. If you look at everything he has done he has failed to be a good governor here. All he ever brings up is the issues of who is behind the recall and then he constant bely criticizes people running against him. I want the governor to stand up and tell everybody how you are going to improve all the deficiencies that we have brought up here in california. Todd to that point if newsom does survive, will he use the Recall Experience to change some of those unpopular policies or do you fear, jon, he will double down . The type of Prime Minister he appeared to be i think he will double down, which is sad. His main job is typically prove the lives of californians. Evidence hasnt done that he has also been very, very selfish, telling people to do things that he doesnt do them. Especially sending his kids to school, Private School and so many children couldnt go to school. And remember this most of the children who couldnt go to school were children of color.
