Were not aware of anyone being held on an aircraft or any hostage like situation. Outside the former u. S. Taliban officials blame the lack of documents for some of these planes at the airport for not taking off. The u. S. State department says we dont even really control the airspace, but in announcing the formation of a new government, a tall Span Spokesperson said people with the proper documentation should be able to leave in the coming days. My first question is, do you have any understanding of what is going on with these planes on the ground in Northern Afghanistan . Thanks for having me. Yes. Last time that we had manifested a couple of people on these flights, we have a flight that was a proved by the State Department, the Taliban And Department of defense. Right before it was getting ready to leave, the State Department was the reason that they disapproved it because they claim that they had to vet a manifest. There was an aircraft that was going to take off that had been approved but the State Department wanted to vet the manifest. Whatever that means. If they would have been sitting there surrounded by taliban, they probably would have got the manifest quicker. What is happening now, the taliban has been holding on all of these planes, hamza, who reports back to the taliban leadership as being formed in kabul, was told not to have any planes or anything approved until a formal government of afghanistan is recognized. The idea that theres some coordination going on but not quite to the extent and certainly not the coordination that is being made up by many of the u. S. Government officials. We have reportings where were trying to get the family through. We were talking through many of the commanders of the different Border Crossing areas or kind of key fighters. One of those he came back and told us, look, we have no agreement and we have no exercise with the americans to allow them to pass. So this idea if you show your passport, we have this great coordination with the Taliban And Theyll let you though, with 100 certainty that is not the case . Amazing. This family, i assume they have passports, this family . Passports, children dont speak anything other than english. Born and raised in texas. They made multiple attempts that was thwarted. They tried to get to the airport because the State Department in some cases would say oh, yeah, their name is on the list. Theyll be let by. The taliban would push them back. I would get them back in the area once month. The State Department said they were good to go. They went back a third time. At this point it upset a taliban fighter. He took the pistol and put it next to the mothers head. Martha unreal. The thing that strikes me and im wondering about the other families and people trying to get out and we understand there are probably some people that want to say, but theres people that want to get out and we left them there. You know, we dont know anything. I listened to Secretary Of State blinken. He said we dont believe that any of the people are held hostage or theyre on the planes. We dont have an embassy, we dont have people on the ground, we dont have intel. I dont think we do, do we . Who do we know . Well, thats the thing. We continue to monitor the intel on the ground through our own network. We had to develop something because there wasnt a proper shared process. Ill say this before i completely just try to use political angle of whats going on. There are certain State Department officials when it comes to the area that we were crossing over in at a local level that is really trying to help and coordinate things. But in the swamp back home, theyre trying to take credit for it so it can change the narrative. As far as them knowing what is happening on the ground, they have no include. When we tried to get miriam and her family across, i sat on the bridge for order for house trying to coordinate with our Team Coordinating with a taliban commander. We had to use different Tack Tricks where i had to use a sat phone. I had a number and we had to convince one another that is person is in the wrong and theyre going to be upset by this and we tricked them into allowing us to get her in after an hour. If not, she told the taliban said i dont care about your passport. Youre not anymore deserving to leave than anyone else and your never going to go. Were going to continue to make sure that they get out every time someone gets out and we hope theres more people that get out, theyre going to want to say, well, we did this. They need all of you guys. Well, its like i said before, all of this, we swore an oath a long time ago. Because we took the uniform off doesnt mean the oath expired. So it wasnt until 2006, two years later, that the fbi opened a secret investigation called Operation Encore. It went for a decade that the 911 Commission has never had the luxury of relying upon. So when you hear the Saudis Point to the 911 Commission report as an exoneration, nothing could be further than the truth.
