Up quite high. 650 horse. And i saw people walking in. I asked them why they werent walking closer to where the Guard Rail was. They were walking in the middle of the water dressed in black. Some of the folks, Dark Clothing. It was very easy for them to get struck by a vehicle so i was asking them to move to the side of the road if they were going to have to walk because their vehicles were stuck. The Guard Rail and the divider on the hutch and the parkway both were vanished. You couldnt see where it started. Easily three to four feet of water. Many, many vehicles stopped. People turning around in their vehicle trying to get out. They were stuck in water. A number of them walking. Never seen anything quite like it. I was out during the night during Hurricane Sandy because we were working in terms of managing some issues for clients and their assets, portfolio assets, and, you know, we were out back then, and i have never seen anything like i. I never even knew those roads could flood like that its quite amazing to me. When you see the video, its incredible to see whats happening in parts of new York City, and then, you know, in westchester like you were saying several people whose cars were completely submerged in water just sitting in their Parking Lots but from a first Responders Standpoint how difficult is this going to be when this water starts to recede. Youve got all of those cars on the roadways that will have to be moved. This is going to cause a lot of issues for potentially a couple of days to get all of those cars off of the roads. No doubt. In fact, i had a buddy of mine behind me in an suv, again, i was in a shelby raptor, a high vehicle, its kind of built for this stuff, just coincidentally i was in it, i had no idea, and we had to leave his vehicle on a Side Street because the water was moving so rapidly and so deeply, we were traveling west, that we parked it on the lawn of a private home and left a net on it. There was just no way to get out of there. He jumped in with me. It was probably hundreds that i saw, hundreds of vehicles, in similar predicaments, whether they were abandoned on the side of the road, abandoned on the shoulder or just in the middle of the highway like in the left lane of a threelane highway. Definitely, it could be a real challenge in the morning as the water recedes. No question about it. Parts have you been out on the roads . Are you out on the roads right now or are you somewhere, where you are home now . Im home now. We got in, it took us about three hours to travel. That was my question. So it took you three hours to go 20 miles. Were hearing people that we work with, it would usually take them, what, 30 to 45 minutes to get home and it took them four hours. Thats something people really need to beware of when they get up in the morning. One, if you cannot get to work or wherever youre going you just donts need to go anywhere, but also, talk about how dangerous it is, you know, for people to travel in conditions like this. Obviously, you were on the job.
