Russia threatened the other members and said hey, if you dont supply, we have the ability to produce above our quota as well. So in other words, keep in line and well play the game. The sad part about this, if you look at the Demand Numbers in the united states, the amount of oil that opec is going to give us, 400,000 Barrels Of Oil a day is not enough at The End of the year because its Supply Deficit and that means higher prices. Law enforcement officials are working to confirm the identity of the suspect who is believed to also be a student of Mount Tabor High School. For the safety of all students, a number of schools also went to lockdown. At this time those schools are no longer on lockdown. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family of our deceased student. On behalf of the citizens, i thank the police department, the highway patrol, the Sheriffs Department for coming together quickly to secure the school and to work on resolving the issue. Our citizens offer our condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family of the student who passed away today. We know it will be difficult for them going forward. So passing along news confirmed by katrina thompson, the winstonsalem, North Carolina Police Chief as well as the mayor in winstonsalem that the student that was injured in a shooting earlier today has indeed died and the suspect is still at large. We know very little about this incident and whether that individual was targeted or the shooter went to the school. So much we dont know. This much we do, the student has died. No one else was injured or hurt, we understand. But again, the assailant is still on the loose. Well keep you posted if theres any other developments on that. Other news were also following right now is this push for Booster Shots that you heard a great deal about, especially from the president advocating that those that have compromised immune systems, the elderly, might want to sign up for this. Politco is reporting that theres some at the fda that dont like the strong arming and the pressure. Some in fact quit based on the notion that were getting ahead of ourselves on this, that it might not be necessary that Booster Shots themselves might be a premature anecdote. Is it . Do you remend it . I think weve confused two things. The concept with a booster with the concept of a dose and people that never mounted a good immune response like the older people. The data are not out showing that people, the regular everyday american public, needs a booster. Theres no evidence right now that the vaccinated community is waning in preventing hospitalizations and death. We know its waning against common cold symptoms. But for the White House to announce before the Fda Or Cdc evaluated it, that theyll have a booster plans that will recommend that people on September 20th take boosters, this is a bit of an insult to the fda and its authority. Thats why two respected high Level Fda officials left. That is in my opinion very clear right now. I think they feel cut out as politco has suggested. Neil what is surprising in this, doctor, the fact that they werent consulted. The fda No One talked to them. The president certainly. Their opinion was not part of weighing this idea for a Booster Shot. Now, to be fair, such talk has been out there across the globe. Do you need follow up shots and all of that. On that general issue, whether you need something like this, is that something that the world this country has to consider . You know, i think most physicians right now in the united states are telling their patients that they would like to see more data. If the data shows that youre at increased risk of hospitalizations and deaths and severe illness, i think the recommendation for a booster is clear. Right now some of us are concerned about the global equity issue. Right now the united states has thrown out 15 Million vaccine doses. We need them to be overseas where variants emerge. If you look at the pattern, theyve been cutting out opposition. They never convene experts when they looked at those 12 to 15 years of age. For them to be told we want this by September 20th, go to work, thats the concern right now. Neil doctor, this comes at a time when were getting a lot of scary warn beings and recommendations from health authorities, the cdc recommends against Labor Day Travel for unvaccinated americans. You have the World Health Organization on the same day monitoring the new Delta Variant mu. So that scares folks. The European Union working in concert with member countries advising against Nonpressing Travel apart of americans, only Essential Travel there. Canada and ourselves, were going back and forth as to whether we can visit each others countries because of this. Calm me down, doctor. Is all of this anxiety, you know, necessary . You know, i hear over and over again from many people in the united states that theyre just confused at this point. They want to know what is the real data behind a booster what if they had covid. Do they need two doses . Is one adequate . What is the benefit of one versus none . Do healthy kids really have a risk of dying . What is that risk . What should the Ideal Interval be between the two doses . If we would have had a threemonth interval between doses, we would have gotten strong protection as a booster might deliver. These countries are telling most citizens, if youre immune, we need to get back to normal. Its ironic that we have gotten restrictions from countries with low levels of infection in to the united states. Were telling americans that you cant get to those areas with lower rates of infections.
