President biden has canceled his planned Trip Home to wilmington, delaware. Instead of getting briefed on the situation In Afghanistan at the White House. We have Fox News Team coverage with Lucas Tomlinson at the Pentagon And Jacqui at the White House. And what are you hearing in doha. Anita, good afternoon. There continues to be efforts by the international community to get as many civilians and diplomates out of afghanistan as possible of the flights are ongoing. As we know, the u. S. Issued the Alert Warning of possible Security Threats outside of The Gates where people are going into the airport facilities. Weve seen video over the past six days of major clashes. Taliban fighters outside trying to push back people who arrived there even with the correct Paper Work and u. S. Military personnel, even pulling babies up over Barbed Wire trying to get them to safety. Officials in doha are trying to make sure that afghans have comfortable living as they land on the ground. More afghans arriving in doha, The Sheik did speak with President Biden and the amir and President Biden talking about the situation and we understand that President Biden thanked him saying this would not be possible without the qataris, not only providing Air Assistance and facilities for evacuees, but also the important communication with the taliban to ensure that people are not attacked, those u. S. Forces on the ground are not targeted while these evacuations begin. What we can expect in the coming days, a continuous flights not only to doha, but places like dubai and islamabad, pakistan and those who helped the united states the past 20 years out of the country as the taliban continues. It looks like a chaotic situation on the ground. Griff a sharp criticism of the administrations handling of this, the president canceled his trip to delaware and instead receiving more briefings. Jacqui heinrich is at the White House following the latest. Hi there, the president canceled his trip to wilmington. He was suppose Today Leave after meeting with his national Security Team this morning. There has been a lot of discussion whether the u. S. Credibility has been challenged on the world stage. We will not hear from the president again today. You can call it a lid until at least 3 00 at least, looking at the window is not a time where well hear from the president , but yesterday when he spoke, he challenged the assertion that the u. S. Is looking bad right now. I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world. Ive spoken with our n. A. T. O. Allies. The fact of the matter is, i have not seen that. Matter of fact, the exact opposite. Ive got exact opposite, were acting with dispatch. Were acting to committing to what we said we would do. Headlines outside the u. S. Paints a different picture. The u. K. , parliament holds it in contempt with bidens withdrawal. Angela merkel called it a bitter event for those who believed in Democracy And Freedom, especially for women and french president Emmanuel Macron that n. A. T. O. Has a responsibility, quote, moral responsibility to evacuate its afghan allies and that mention was not included in the white House Readout of that same call. And bloomberg reported thatted president made assurances to the key allies in june that the u. S. Would maintain enough security In Afghanistan to assure that they could continue to operate In Kabul after the main u. S. Withdrawals and they agreed with the plan to withdraw, but know you theyre talking who you theyll handle the fallout and agreed to convene for a G7 Meeting. The secretarygeneral that allies are scrambling after the timeline that the u. S. Withdrawal imposed. Quickly, weve watched the Pentagon Briefing from Admiral Kirby. What is the sense or the atmosphere at the White House now . Is there a flurry of activity here . It pretty quiet at the White House right now. Of course, thats speaking about the Press Shop where were limited to, i cannot speak to whats happening in the west wing. Obviously, the president canceled his plans to leave the White House so he will remain here and those briefings will continue throughout the weekend. The White House emphasized no matter where president is hes working on this. That said, the Press Shop is pretty quiet and we do not expect any sort of Press Conference that doesnt usually happen on the weekends anyway, but there is no sort of increased visibility from them beyond the readouts that weve been getting from the pool which just said that the President S trip has been canceled. Griff all right. Jacqui heinrich on the North Lawn at the White House. Griff, Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby is telling reporters they cannot rule out sending out people to get americans. And lucas, you were pressing for answers there, what is the latest. Anita, the Press Conference just wrapped. What we heard is new urgency to get all americans and vulnerable afghans out of the country as quickly as possible. Were fighting against both time and space, thats the race that were in right now. And were trying to do this as quickly and as safely as possible. Im not going to speculate about whether windows are closing or opening. Were focused on accomplishing this mission as fast as we can. Earlier this morning, the u. S. Embassy In Kabul issuing the following warning, telling americans not to go to the airport because of potentially Security Threats outside The Gates at the Kabul Airport. Were advising u. S. Citizen toz avoid travelling to the airport and to avoid Airport Gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a u. S. Representative to do so. Yesterday President Biden said the evacuation was going well and americans have having no problems to get to the airport to escape. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill says that Bidens Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says that some americans have been beaten and there launched a Rescue Mission to rescue 169 americans 200 yards from the airport with chinook helicopters. And holding the lines at the airport and keeping them safe and rescuing young afghan children and some cases the families handing them over to americans with the promise of a better liech. And the briefing we just got out of, only six u. S. Air Force C17 Transport planes were able to launch from kabul carrying 1600. But learned there were 30 charter flights, and probably the biggest data point, Pout Of 17,000 people evacuated from afghanistan in the past week only 2500 are americans. Now, i pressed Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby that two days before kabul fell, he was saying that the city was in no imminent danger and how could he have gotten that wrong and he stood by that remarks. And as a four Star General just texted me he said and admitted that he was wrong. We were watching the Press Conference and waving you ask the questions. There are numbers flying around and when we hear 2500 americans are able to get out. Any sense how many more americans are left . The estimates vary. John kirby said between 5,000 and 10,000. Over to the White House, Jen Psaki says at least 11,000. Were hearing from Capitol Hill lawmakers they have been briefed by State Department and dod, the defense department, that theres between, you know, 10 and 15,000 americans. So when we hear only 2500 americans have been rescued, it does leave some questions who else is out there . Who is missing and how is the u. S. Military going to know when the issue is over and you can pack up and get out of there, anita . Confusing and troubling indeed. Lucas tomlinson live at the pentagon. Griff. Griff for more insight on what this all means for the veterans at home and for those stuck In Kabul. A Bronze Star Medal and a purple Heart Medal and the Defense Meritorious medal for service In Afghanistan just to name a few. Congressman thank you for taking time. I wish we had a better reason to have you on today, but we dont. As you heard from Admiral Kirby from the Press Briefing at the pentagon, the situation is fluid and dynamic. Major general hank taylor, not wanting to go into the Threat Assessment, but stunningly 24 hours after the President Stood at the podium at the White House and simply said that there was no indication americans were having a problem getting to the airport. What is the disconnect . And what do you perceive to be the situation really on the ground there In Kabul . Yeah, let me give you two points on Threat Assessment right now. Number one, yesterday you heard President Biden say any interruption would be met with a swift response. What would he call the taliban surrounding the airport . Thats the definition of an interrupt. He is giving no response to that. He is essentially a lamb trying to lead a military of lions and putting our Service Members and our american allies and our americans there on the ground in danger, its what created this entire situation. Lets be specific about what the threat really is. We saw images today of taliban wearing u. S. Military uniforms, Night Vision optics other pieces of equipment. The President Said specifically, they are they have the most sophisticated equipment. So ask this question, one question, how many raytheon built, shoulder fired surface to air missiles did they get their Hands On when they took over the most advanced military weaponry, when the taliban took it over. Understanding were trying to fly out 10 to 15 to 50,000 individuals on aircraft . Thats an example of just how dangerous this situation is and the kind of weaponry they got their Hands On. Griff congressman when you talk about your concerns, we also heard the President Saying that there was no alqaeda left In Afghanistan and of course, the pentagon walking that back saying there is an alqaeda presence. What do you believe to be the situation . Theres no question that theres a presence of alqaeda. Theres a presence of taliban, theres a presence of iran there on the ground. Of any entity that can find a way to disrupt and hurt americans, every single minute that the clock ticks, those entities are taking inventory of what they got their Hands On, of how they can use at that, of where they can use that to disrupt and Kill Americans and their allies, thats a fact. The President S Press Conference yesterday was probably one of the easiest that he ever gave because his people that briefed him probably said, listen, just think of everything going on In Afghanistan and around the world, and just say the opposite. Because thats literally what he did. He just said the opposite of what the reality on the ground was and what the troops are. And the President Saying no american will be left behind, a little unclear how strong the commitment is to the afghan allies like the interpreters that you worked with, a gentleman named tom. I ask you how important this is that we keep this commitment and what is the latest with the interpreter you became so close to. For us as Service Members that stand shoulder to shoulder with one another and our brothers in arms, that maybe wore a different uniform, theres no more serious commitment that we make to one another than this. We dont leave our men behind. And the president never learned that. He is not respecting that and hes tarnishing the reputation of All Of Us that put on that uniform and made that commitment to those that stood shoulder to shoulder with us, to include those that i served with. Griff congressman, not that the president is going to take your advice, but this late with this much chaos, what can still be done and what should they be doing . He needs to do what he said he would do in his Press Conference, was any interruption would be met with a swift response. I already said hes not doing that, hes not reacting to the perimeter around the airport of the taliban. He gave up the high ground. Americans are now in what we can say is day nine of the afghanistan hostage crisis, whereas just before this, the taliban were our hostages withIn Afghanistan. We gave them the high ground. We need the high ground back. The most Fortified Airport In anywhere on earth, the bagram airport, he gave that up. We should be flying in and out of the most fortified and the embassy, our embassy, he gave that up. We need the high ground back in order not to be the captives, but make the taliban The Cab captives. Griff and 62 across political lines felt that the afghanistan War Wasnt worth fighting. And you gave your legs. And how do you answer that question. I answered that this morning, hundreds of people in Martin County walked across a bridge for Service Members and the exact thing i said to them is this, what we do on the ground in combat. When you run across a field of improvised explosives to get to a friend. Or shot at by Machine Guns by the enemy, any of those things, you do that because your brothers and sisters left and to your right. And theyll never take that away from us. And not one second in my life that i would trade two legs and a finger for any one of my friends. Griff thank you Congressman Brian Mast. Thank you. All the best. Other Congressional District is hometown to many from the middle east. From michigan, debbie dingell. Congresswoman dingell, thank you for spending part of your saturday with us. We know that you have been closely monitoring the evolving situation In Afghanistan. What are your thoughts about what youre seeing unfolding there . Well, first of all, i want to thank brian mast for his service, he is a friend and i so greatly respect him, that thats really important to me. And its also been last weekend, i was with many of the Vietnam Veterans as we watched what unfolded In Afghanistan, the travelling Vietnam Wall was in my district and i spent a lot of time with many of the veterans watching it, their memories and those horrors at what they were watching. And a mother who lost her son In Afghanistan said to me, did my son die in vain . And he didnt die in vain. We went in this was a forever war. Two republican President S two democratic President S, President Trump was The One that set the date for when we were going to leave, but i dont think we any Finger Pointing is very good right now. We went into afghanistan because of 9 11, because terrorists had Murdered Thousands Of Americans On American Soil and we were trying to go after Osama Bin Laden and that was what the goal was at that time. Right now, i think republicans and democrats in the house of representatives, in the congress are united in wanting to get every american out of afghanistan safely, but we have a moral responsibility and i dont know anyone who does not believe we have a moral responsibility to everyone that helped us while we were there for 20 years, be there, not only the interpreters, but other afghans who helped us with cooking or getting People Someplace or just A Million different ways. We have a moral responsibility to them. And then, quite frankly, i began working with Laura Bush trying to help the afghan women and girls. I dont know what were going to do about them, but we need to worry about them in a multinational way going forward. So, im just i have many people here in my district that are just sick as theyre watching all of this. I have the veterans that i love and spend time with and i think we just want right now to get everybody that we care about and have moral obligations to out of afghanistan safely and then we have a lot of questions that need answered. Certainly, we all want to see everyone evacuated from afghanistan, the afghans that have been helping us, The Americans, the interpreters, the women, all of them. But at the same time, there is criticism coming from both sides of the aisle about the way this has been handled and i want to read something from one of your g. O. P. Colleagues, this is from representative Mike Johnson of louisiana. He says, quote, this makes benghazi look like a much smaller issue. This may be one of the worst and most consequential Foreign Policy and national security disasters in our history. There will be a lot of answers to seek and questions to be answered and i think it will be a top priority. Now, certainly hes a republican and youre a democrat and far on many issues, but putting politics aside here is he wrong . You know, this is we have a lot of questions that need answers, and i think that the house and the senate have in some way not been strong enough about demanding questions from President S. I dont care what party they have, about what has been going on. This became a forever war. Trump said, we have to get out, set the date by when this withdrawal had to happen. What, we need to ask questions about our intelligence. Was it good intelligence . Why was it so wrong . Where was it coming from . We need to make sure that our national security is safe by looking at what is going on there and i think those questions have to come. I hope theyre not done in a partisan way, i dont think we should be partisan when it comes to our national security. I want to keep this country that i love safe. Right now, i think we need to be united. Im doing what has to be done there, and then in a very objective, nonpartisan way, ask the questions that and seek the answers and that going forward, we as a congress have a responsibility to be to hold the executive Branch Accountable for these war, what became known as a forever war. And you know, we know, like i said at the top, that you care deeply about the people of afghanistan, especially the women. You mentioned that you have been working closely with Laura Bush to help the women In Afghanistan. Shes been advocating for womens rights there for years. Now the women living there are living in fear. What can be done now to help them . Thats a question, and laura was who i began with, quite frankly, first ladies have taken this on as issues, when they became President S they, too, Hillary Clinton quite frankly, i dont know that people have known this, have been arranging private charters, probably shouldnt have said that, because i dont want anyone in danger trying to get people safely out of there. And one thing for our attempt to evacuate all The Americans and afghans to help the military and the interpreters, but we cant evacuate every woman and every girl, so we are as a multinational community going to have to figure out how do we help them. Its quite scary, as youve seen the taliban is already raping and attacking some of the women there. They are living in absolute fear. Theyre hiding at the school, which has come back to there, the Womens School is now going back to being virtual. I dont have answers, im not afraid to say when i dont have answers. Im scared, im concerned and i want to help these women. I want to work with everybody, not in a partisan way, but work in a way that we can be effective trying to help the women and girls there. We understand that sentiment. Thank you very much, congresswoman debbie dingell, a lot to be done on the ground. We appreciate your time there. Thank you. A lot more tomorrow. Chris wallace will have a live interview with Secretary Of State Antony Blinken on Fox News sunday. The secretary will face many questions on what is happening In Afghanistan and Howard Kurtz will take a deep dive how the media covered chaos there. Thats tomorrow 11 a. M. Eastern, stay tuned on Fox News channel. Henri has turned into a hurricane as it takes aim at New England. Adam klotz has more. Hi, adam. Hey, griff. As you said now strengthening all the way up to an earthquake had status and when it makes landfall, close to that, maybe a weak hurricane or a strong thunderstorm. Its 180 miles off the coast of the carolinas. Now, here is our track of what youre seeing with that eventually landfall Long Island, perhaps southern New England, its going to be Tomorrow Afternoon. So Sunday Afternoon is when this will approach, but i think that things start to deteriorate early on sunday. Here are our tropical models and you see mostly in agreement with the long Island Landfall and some shifting further off to the east and a southern New England landfall. Folks along Long Island are going to be feeling the impacts from the storm and no surprise here, weve got our Hurricane Warnings for the place for the entire region and then just outside of that, including new York City, is a tropical Storm Warning and that just means tropical Storm Force conditions likely in new York City Tomorrow Afternoon. These are the wind as it moves into the Area And Everything in that yellow area, thats where the tropical Storm Force winds, a much Wilder Field so those stretch to new York City. When you get the wind pulling in water, maybe three to five feet of total Storm Surge. Its going to be a Wind Situation and a Storm Surge situation. And this is a quick one. This is a huge rain maker, but some areas will get four to five inches of rain and when you talk about the other water pulled in, that will be a problem and well be watching as it makes the move. Griff adam klotz, the Weather Center. Its a long time since the hamptons got hit. Well keep you posted. Well, griff, our well, griff, our Fox Flight alive drone, okay, is showing us what is expected to be another day where the u. S. Border Patrol Ap Henderson many more migrants. Bill is live in the Rio Grande Valley of texas with the latest on this continuing migration crisis, bill. Anita, good afternoon to you. Look, as the president is having to deal with the ongoing situation In Afghanistan, hes got a second crisis here at the southern border that quite frankly, isnt getting better anytime soon. Look at the numbers, theyre getting worse after worse after worse every single month. Take a look at the photo. Sad news to report to you, this is Border Patrol agent, ricardo, who passed away monday of this week and just laid to rest yesterday. The Agency Hasnt officially given his cause of death, but numerous Border Patrol sources tell me he died of covid19 complications. He was only 33 years old and was assigned to the Mcallen Station out here, he had been with Border Patrol since 2009 and just laid to rest yesterday. A tragic story there and goes to show the ongoing risk our Border Agents are taking every single day as they continue to work during this border surge. Speaking of which, Take A Look at the video we shot. We ride on a ride along with the La Hoya police. This small Police Department had to start helping out the federal government and doing their job. Theyre going to do patrols down by the Rio Grande and checking out the area for migrants after they cross the river. As we were with the sergeant, this is exactly what happened, a group came across the river, including several family units, one mom had had several children with her, she was in bad healthwise, and she was severely dehydrated, and they had to pick her up, Border Patrol stretched so thin they cant be everywhere at once. The small municipal departments are having to step up to the plate and help out the federal government. The sergeant told they use today see A Group Of 20 and they thought that was a big deal. Now groups of 200, 300, maybe bigger than that. Take a listen to what the sergeant had to say about it. Were used to running the he thinks expressway and the City Streets and now with this, its overwhelming. Take a look at the fox drone. Why were here in La Hoya, its a hot spot. The incomplete Border Wall Ap just stopped when President Biden took over. And countless trips we watch them walk right around the Border Wall and show up where the Border Patrol ap helped them. 212,000 apprehensions in the month of july and just one day last week alone the Border Patrol chief out here in Rio Grande apprehended more than 4,000 people in a single day and thats an alltime record for the Rio Grande Border Patrol. Back to you. Those numbers are astounding and seem to keep growing and i want to say our condolences here at Fox Go Out to the family of the Border Patrol officer who passed away. Bill, thank you for that report. Griff. Griff anita, Coming Up, well Head West of where bill is to Del Rios, texas, the busiest part of the Border And Talk to Joe Martinez next. The Del Rios sector is the second in the nation, bill and i have reported from. And theyve had migrants from more than 70 countries. With for more on the situation in that sector, were joined by the sheriff from Valverde County, and sheriff, thank you for taking time. Its been a month or so since you and i last had the chance to speak. What is the situation . How is the Migrant Flow there . Has it slowed down at all, sir . Its slowed down this week. We went from, you know, last week or the week prior, you know, 6 to 700 600 arrests on a daily basis to alltime high of 760 was recorded. This past week, theres been a slowdown. About 300 a day is what the Border Patrol is dealing with. Griff and let me ask you, in the last segment, we warned agent ricky zarate, an agent who died from covid come evaluations in the rgv. And how is covid between your officers and deputies . Most of our officers and deputies, okay within the community the trend is headed upward when it comes to the covid issue. Griff sheriff, do you have any sense for what percentage of the migrants in detention are positive . No, and i havent been able to capture that number from our federal partners. Ill ask that Question Ap provide that to you at a later date, but i know that theyre not being tested, as theyre coming in. Griff would that help you to know that . Do you wish they were doing that for you . Well, itd be something to you know, that we could all know whats coming in with relation to the covid factor. And that would be helpful. I know that other communities are being tested, but here in this sector, theyre not. Griff sheriff, how much of a strain on your resources has this crisis been . So initially, it was a heavy burden, it was a heavy lift. The safety is now in the Area And Theyve been in the area for several months now, so you know, theyre added support to our community. Griff sheriff, when i was there and encountering those migrants just crossing the river. They were mostly venezuelans coming across on a local ranchers property. And you can see some of them coming across now. What are you having to do with these migrants . I know that the governor has wanted you to arrest some criminal migrants trespassing. How is that going . So, the Governors Operation Lonestar has been in effect probably twomonths now. It started off with a false start. I believe that theres probably over 400 individuals that haven about arrested for violation of criminal trespass. Their process here in Valverde County move over to a facility in dilley, texas. Griff are you in contact with him as hes pursuing these operations . What are you saying to them . Actually we have a Zoom Call with him today so were hoping well get an update on to his continued plan. Griff and what will you say to him about your situation on the ground there . Well, you know, i appreciate all the troopers that are in the area. Between them and our federal partners, theyre doing an excellent job in helping us keep our community safe. Griff well, what do you need, sheriff . What can either your federal partners or the governor do to alleviate some of the strain on your situation . Well, i think not only the strain on my my situation, but the whole Southwest Border, i think that, you know, the administration this is unsustainable so i think the administration needs to take a hard look at it. It needs to shut the border down and regroup. You know, its not just its not just in the county, it affecting all of the Southwest Border and into the united states. Griff all right. Valverde County Sheriff Joe Martinez, thanks for the update. Thank you, keep safe. Anita one of the topics that former President Donald Trump is expect Today Address at his Alabama Rally this evening. Our Mark Meredith has a preview and hes live there. Good to see you. Hes endorsed Mo Brooks for the Senate State Seat and the property remaining neutral. We had a chance to talk with a few of his supporters and hear is what they had to say. Im here to support Donald Trump and the other people here that want to make our country better than what it is. You lose your freedom, you lose your you lose yourself, and i am just so happy and excited to be here. Praying to god that he comes back in 24, if not sooner. The president is expected to talk more than about politics, expected to launch attacks about President Biden, and made several statements. The former president writing first you bring out the american citizens and then you bring out the equipment and then you bomb the bases into smithereens and then the military. And thousands of people are waiting to get into the rally and while afghanistan is certainly a crisis, theres another crisis in this state, which is, of course, alabama at this Point Running Out Of Icu Beds earlier in the week and this is an outdoor rally so it should make things a bit safer than weve seen at previous political events, but obviously a lot of people eager to hear from the former president and the political sway in the state. But ultimately, i had to go through the whole process again and convince myself and, you know, that he did not. He did not die in vain and all of those young men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice, none of them died in vain. Yeah. And i know so many moms and dads are feeling like you are. Pam, i know youve said you feel very anxious watching events unfold. Can you elaborate a little bit . Oh, its really funny, im like annette. When sunday rolled around i couldnt believe what was happening. And so, i just started feeling really anxious and couldnt turn the tv off the news and i thought, well, you know, whats really happening . And i felt like annette, you know, what was going on . He did three tours over there and he helped so many people and his interpreters, he always talked very wonderful about them. Oh, theres a picture. And he just loved his family and one of the things that i kept saying to myself is they did not die in vain. They were over there to make sure that our those americans that are left at home, especially their family, you know, thats what they went over there for. I want to put im sorry to interrupt. I want to put up on the screen quickly a recent associated Press Poll about the war In Afghanistan and the question asked was whether the war was worth it. 62 said no, and 35 said yes. And those are troubling numbers, im sure for you, Annette And Pam and i want to just talk about your sons a little bit. Annette, your son private first Class Paul was just 23 years old when he died in 2010 when insurgents attacked his unit using Improvised Explosive Device and we have pictures to put up of him. He gave his young life to advance the cause of freedom In Afghanistan so people could have a better life. When you look at the poll and you hear people say his service was in vain. Tell me what youd like to say to that . Thats not true, you know. He went over there just to better his life for a stepping stone, for a career, but you know, and i dont believe, i just cant believe that poll. Thats crazy. There are so many patriotic people out there. The veterans out there, theyre probably appalled right now to see the results of that poll. And i truly believe thats going to trigger them even more. Anita yeah. Its a tough number to look at. Pam, your son, Sergeant First Class thomas avey. He with as a Navy Veteran and he died after leaving afghanistan from wound he sustained there. He was a father, left behind a daughter 15 years old now isabel. What do you tell his daughter about the sacrifice her dad made and why do you want her to understand about why he was there and how he did not die in vain . Well, thomas was older. He was 33 when he died and he was actually in college on 9 11 when that happened. He had actually in his semester. He had joined the guard to go to school for free. And on 9 11 he was in the guard and he was like, no, thats it, im going, and Isabel Wasnt born yet. And so, he went over there, 03, 04, and he married his wife, his College Sweetheart and they had isabel. She had isabel while he was gone, which is a lot of the same stories from people and so he made it home on his first deployment and he had his little baby daughter. So, you know, she was sunshine for him and that poll, i hope she doesnt see it, you know, shes in High School and i dont want her to see the negative. In fact, you know, i always try to stay super positive for my girls that are left and for isabel, you know. And he did three tours and every time he left we were all so scared and anxious and i just feel like that poll, i hadnt seen that poll so im kind of like annette now, whoa, wait a minute that cant be real. Anita yeah, i understand. Ladies, thank you so much for joining us today. We so appreciate you spending a few minutes with us. I know its a tough subject. Thank you so much and god bless you, well be right back. Hi, im debra. Im from colorado. Ive been married to my high School Sweetheart for 35 years. Im a mother of four always busy. I was starting to feel a little foggy. Just didnt feel like things were as sharp as i knew they once were. I heard about prevagen and then i started taking it about two years now. Started noticing things a little sharper, a little clearer. I feel like its kept me on my game. Im able to remember things. Id say give it a try. Prevagen. Healthier brain. Better life. Welcome back. Anita, that was such a powerful interview. We want to take just a moment for our viewers to process that. I would say to you, anita, that were at Inflection Point in our history and both of our allies and our enemies watching. The president having a detachment from reality with both our Jen Griffin and reporters from other networks were correcting him in realtime, whether americans can get to the airport or whether alqaeda exists there. And one of the important voices at this Turn Point are the veterans that served and the gold moms. And what about the interview was strongest. Anita i thought it was interesting to hear from the Gold Star moms and how honest they were about being troubled about that associated Press Poll showing the majority of americans, i think 62 dont think that the war was worth it, but its important to keep our veterans memories alive. Thats what their group is doing. Theyre american Gold Star moms. Com and great information on the website how veterans can support each other. Griff, we are getting reaction this hour about whats happening on the ground In Afghanistan and we heard from the pentagon earlier today that they are up against the clock to evacuate people. Griff Dynamic And Fluid is how colonel put it. We have not heard from the President Today after being factchecked on several realities on the ground there, anita. Thats right, we hope to hear certainly more today from all of the official sources and right now we have Fox News Team coverage with Lucas Tomlinson at the pentagon, Jacqui Heinrich at the white House And Trey yingst in qatar. We will start with trey yingst, trey, what are you hearing there . Trey well, look, the scenes of chaos outside of the airport happening once again today. A major concern not only to American Forces but a variety of other countries who have troops on the ground trying to evacuate as many afghan civilians as possible. We do know the u. S. State department putting out an alert for american citizens In Afghanistan saying today because of potential Security Threats outside of The Gates, they were actually asking americans to stay put until they received further information. Now we do know according to reports there are concerns that Isis Affiliates Inside Afghanistan could target americans, that could be the potential Security Threat referenced in this memo that went out from the u. S. State department, but the images of chaos, once again playing out as Taliban Fighters are pushing back people who are trying to enter. Once again the words officials in washington are not matching what is going on In Kabul. A number of Afghan Refugees that continue to arrive. Officials in doha trying to house as many as possible but we know that benjamin spoke with president overnight. Told the qatarys extremely helpful for support, was able to basically open this line of communication because when it comes down to it, the major concern for American Forces on the ground is they will be targeted as the Evacuation Efforts continue, back to you. Trey i didnt knows, thank you very much. Trey, thank you. Well, the rapidly changing situation on the ground In Kabul has forced President Biden to change his plans to travel to his home in wilmington, delaware. Jacqui heinrich live from the White House with the latest. Whats going on there. Good afternoon to you, the president canceled his trip to wilmington, he was supposed to leave shortly after meeting with national security advisers this morning. That did not come to pass. Ive asked the White House to confirm or speak on new reports that possible islamic State Threat against americans In Afghanistan has forced the military to try to find other roots to evacuate americans and allies outside of the Kabul Airport. So far i have not heard back from them on that. Last we heard from the president , he extended the commitment to evacuate stranded americans to Afghan Refugees and allies but incredibly unclear by what means he intends to do that and if it would involve american troops. Nato Secretary General also indicated that allied nations are scrambling to meet the deadlines set by the u. S. And the president dismissed the Notion Yesterday the Countrys Credibility is now being challenged on the world stage. I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world. Ive spoken with nato allies, the fact of the matter is i have not seen that. As a matter of fact, the exact opposite ive got exact opposite and asking with dispatched, asking committing to what we said we would do. Jacqui headlines outside of the u. S. Paint a different picture. Uk Daily Telegram condemning dishonor of bidens withdrawal. German chancellor Angela Merkel called it bitter for those who believed in Democracy And Freedom and french President Emanuel Macron in read out with President Biden, nato has more responsibility to evacuate afghan allies. That point was not included in the white House Readout of the same call. Also bloomberg reported yesterday that the president made assurances to key allies in june, that the u. S. Would maintain enough Security Presence In Afghanistan to ensure that they continue to operate In Kabul after the main u. S. Withdrawal. And the president claimed that nato allies all agreed with his plan to withdrawal but only just now starting to speak with them about a coordinated effort to manage this fallout. They have agreed to a G7 Meeting Coming Up next week. Back to you. Jacqui, thank you so much. Griff theres concerns of a possible islamic State Threat, Lucas Tomlinson has the latest Pentagon Briefing about what supports will be provided to get americans out of the city. Hi, lucas. Hi, griff, first officials tell me its not just the islamic state but other Terrorist Groups as well which is changing dynamic at the pentagon. Theres new urgency that we heard earlier from Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby the u. S. Needs to get all americans and all vulnerable afghans out even quicker. A new race against time. We are fighting against time and space, thats the race that we are in right now and and we are trying to do this as quickly and as safely as possible. Im not going to speculate about whether windows are closing or opening, but we are focused on accomplishing the mission as fast as we can. Lucas telling americans not to go airport. Officials say the warning is due to a new threat from the islamic state and other Terrorist Groups but declined to give details, quote, because of potential Security Threats outside of the Kabul Airport, we are advising u. S. Citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and avoid Airport Gates at the same time unless you received individual instructions from the u. S. Government representative to do so. Just yesterday President Biden said americans were having no problems to get to the airports to escape. And Biden Secretary Lloyd Austin, some of them have been getting beaten going to the airport. Yesterday the pentagon launched a Rescue Mission to grab 169 americans just 200 yards from the airport using 3 massive helicopters. Short time ago i asked John Kirby two days before kabul fell to taliban, he said there was no eminent danger. In the moment that i said it based on what we knew at the time, it was a true statement and, yes, two days later, things dramatically changed. I readily admit that. Things moved very, very quickly, lucas. Lucas i just received a net from retired Army General said, The One thing he didnt hear from John Kirby saying he was wrong, griff. Griff Lucas Tomlinson at the pentagon, lucas, thank you. In my friends house, two or three times the taliban came and asked me at my door and they called me a couple of times. I dont know who are they. Im sure that if they capture me, they will kill me. Griff now thats only one of the many interpreters for the u. S. Left In Afghanistan. We obviously pixolated his face for safety. Was killed in action, his best Friend Brenda Looney killed In Afghanistan and buried together in section 60 of arlington cemetery, brothers forever is how President Obama remembered them. She has had a very tumultuous 48 hours as shes been trying to work to try and get one of those interpreters out. We will bring you the interview Coming Up, anita. Griff, yeah, very scary to hear the experience that those interpreters are having. Joining us to discuss how republicans and democrats are responding to expanding crisis In Afghanistan we have atlantic Talk Radio Host and civil Rights Attorney Robert patillo and independent Women Forum senior analyst kelsey, thank you for joining us on this saturday. We really appreciate it. Theres lots of criticism, certainly, on how this exit from afghanistan could have been handled better. Lets hear some of what President Biden had to say just yesterday. The united States Standby its commitment that we have made to this people and includes other vulnerable afghans like Women Leaders and journalists. Okay, so is that in question now as we continue to hear inflicting numbers of how many american citizens and Afghan Refugees remain in the country and how logistically the administration plans to get them out. Robert, is this going to be hard going forward for democrats to defend . I dont think itll be hard to defend. What is going to be hard is getting it done. President biden made it clear that he will standby the commitments and to find out what exactly the Trump Administration released the president of the taliban in 2018 or why they released 5,000 taliban troops under the deal they made in february of 2020, why exactly would you take out american troops before you take out american civilians, so theyll be plenty of time to point fingers thereafter but i think the biden administration is focused, laser focused on getting our people and allies out. Well, lets hope that happens. Kelsey, the Democrat Party likes to pride itself for being champions of womens rights, what are they going to say about these women that are left trapped In Afghanistan afraid for their lives now . Its hard to overstate the mismanagement of the afghanistan pullout and, of course, we are all primarily concerned with the shortterm consequences for americans who are still In Afghanistan, our troops and our allies, our friends that are there but they are going to be a number of longterm consequences that afghan individuals specifically women, girls and children are going to face and this entire situation is deeply symbolic of the feminist movement and the flaws, we just came off of four years, Womens Movement which claimed oppression under President Trump and now we have the leader they elected abandoning afghan women leaving them to Sharia Law which reportedly being rounded up, 12 years off to be married off to terrorists who are allowed up to 4 wives under Sharia Law. They have to cover themselves, the terrorists claim that women there will be able to continue their education, nothing they are saying appears to be true, i dont know why we would believe them on that. The silence is deafening from the womens organizations and movements that spoke about oppression under the Trump Administration. This is what the face of real oppression looks like and we all should be using our voices as members of the most privileged society in generation of the world to give the afghan women a voice. Yeah, you to feel for these women that are likely to to live under Sharia Law. President bidens decision to withdraw so quickly here and apparently against the advice of top generals and i realize the situation is still very much unfolding on the ground but i have to ask, how does this play out when it comes time to talk about the midterms and i want to put up a recent Ap Poll of the President S handling of Foreign Policy taking just a few weeks ago August 12th through the 16th, you see there the approval rate, 47 Disapproval Rate 51 , so how damaging is this going to be to President Biden and democrats in general, robert . I dont think it would be damaging at all. Lets remember that the president that President Trumps timetable for withdrawal was may of 2021. President biden will be judged on how the the evacuation worked, how exactly he gets our troops home and focusing on a Foreign Policy that puts america forward. Remember, that when i was in High School, this were started and at that time it was a war to stop alqaeda In Afghanistan, they surrendered in 2001. Then the shift the war shifted to establishing a stable democracy. Then the war shifted now, i guess, to defending womens rights In Afghanistan. Then this is why republicans have kept us at war for the last 20 years, most americans are tired of being at war. They will view this in the longterm as President Biden being the person who finally brought this to an end which is something that was long overdue. Okay, kelsey, a final word on that. You know what they dislike more than endless wars, losing wars, leaving american civilians and allies and afghan women behind with hardly a chance to fight for their rights. We were there and had their backs for20 years and abandonedm overnight and have severe consequences for what was completely avoidable and unforgivable. We will have to leave it there and certainly hope for the best there. Kelsey and robert, thank you so much for spending time with us today and we will see you again, griff. Griff anita, many private citizens frustrated with the chaos at the Kabul Airport are moving Heaven And Earth to try to get some out and on to the planes. One of those folks, sister of u. S. Marine Travis Minion killed in iraq. Best friend killed In Afghanistan. Ryan, thank you for taking time. I know it has been a very emotional and stressful last 24 to 48 hours. Youve been trying to get an interpreter named bosimar out. What is the situation and what have you been going through . Thank you so much for having me, griff. Yes, bosimar is inside The Gates at the airport after a heroine journey, tried to get there multiple times and could not get through the crowds. Stood outside with his 3yearold Son And Wife last night through the night and are now inside The Gates thanks to incredible marines and Air Force operators who are down on the ground there and its just been incredible to see how challenging it is to get these individuals, these afghan allies with their sivs just through The Gates. Griff ryan, tell me about the process that you helped to get this interpreter out. I know that you shared with me privately litany of text messages. What has it been like and what was the text that really struck you once you knew he might make it . So the story is too long to tell but overnight multiple contacts behind the gate to make sure they got basimar and his family. My friend that served in iraq in 2014. Him and i were on the phone all night working with people from sweden to right here in the states just to get this family through The Gates, but the final text that came in that was so incredible was, the text i said are you near the marines. I said show them this picture with Travis Minion and youre friends with travis sister. They know travis manion. I lost it at that point, but what i saw in the last 24 hours is the best of humanity, but im also so sad to know that there are so many other families that have the correct paperwork that served honorably with the country that do not have the same support as basima and his family. We need to do whatever we can to get these men and women who served alongside us out. We had representative brian on the last hour and he talked about never leaving a man behind and he feels that applies to those interpreters just like bashimar. What do you think the White House needs to do about it . At The End of the day, i think they need to understand the situation. Its very different for me to deal with what im hearing through live texts and videos and pictures and then on top of that, to understand what is being told to us. There are two very different things and we need to come together and we need to figure out a plan and we need to execute and we need to get men and women to safety. We can want believe them behind. We made a commitment to them and we need to honor the commitment. Griff ryan, thank you for taking time. We are so glad that you had success in this but it is certainly very difficult for so many more of afghan allies, ryan manion, thank you very much. Thanks, griff. Griff a lot more on this, Chris Wallace will have live interview with Secretary Of State Antony Blinken on Fox News sunday and the secretary will face many questions on the latest developments In Afghanistan, thats on the fox network, check local listings for showtimes and howard certs will take a deep dive into how the media covered the chaos In Afghanistan. This concert that we have been hearing the sound checks for and the lights and all of that taking place later this evening will be broadcast on september 11th. Alicia. Anita alex hogan, thank you so much. Griff. Griff well, parents across the country are checking off needed items for back to school including pens, rulers and in many cases face masks. The mother of three and founder of the Foundation Jacqueline Staff is here to talk about requiring masks in schools, welcome, jacqueline. Thank you for taking the time. Hi, thank you. Griff so what is the situation with masks in your Kids Schools right now and what are you planning to do . So its very unfortunate this situation, theres a lot of a lot of mixed messages and a lot of Confusion And Frustration for parents but in my school im very confident that our Board Of Directors and our principal has put Safety Measures in place for our children, however, its not going to please everyone. You know, i have 3 children and i have a toddler and i have to tell you, its very hard for my toddler to wear his mask all day long and i feel for the kids that are on a bus and have to wear a mask, but we are trying, you know, we are trying to please everyone. Its not easy, but i think as parents its our responsibility to also teach our kids other Safety Measures, you know, washing your hands, dont drink in the Water Fountain at school, bring a water bottle, eats fruits and vegetables, keep your immune high. This is what im doing for my children and ultimately what we want to avoid and scares me the most as a parent, we dont want our schools to shut down. Thats the last thing we want. Ive seen firsthand the effect on my 11yearold of, you know, his Mental Health and falling into, you know, very dark place as a child, feeling lonely, not being around his peers and not being around classmates and i think its detrimental for a childs Mental Health to not be at school in a structured environment, school is where the children survive and this is where they develop and need to be around peers and have the social skills. Its an understatement. Why are you opposed kids not wearing masks . Im opposed for the younger children . Ive experienced firsthand with my toddler it was very difficult, Breathing Issues and just uncomfortable and, you know, they look my child says to me, im wearing a mask because i dont want other people to be mad at me, so i dont want people to look at them differently. Now i do have a teenager and i do think she should wear a mask, shes more active and expose today it more but i dont think its a one size fits all but i think its the right of the parents decision, but as participants we do need to be responsible when they should be wearing a mask. Griff jacqueline stapp, mother of 3 in tennessee, thank you for sharing your insights and best to your family. Thank you. Griff Ron Desantis banned masks in schools but several districts pushed back especially after parents expressed concerns. Francella chacon started a petition of Mask Mandates in Miamidade County School district. Welcome, thank you for taking time so we could get your perspective. Tell us how did your petition go and where do things stand in your School District . Thank you for having me, yes. I started petition because i was concerned that thousands and thousands of parents, we all share the same concern that the return of school can become a Super Spreader like we are seeing throughout florida. We had the luxury of starting two weeks later and we are seeing other counties reporting hundreds of quarantine and we had a teacher die in broward. So we were able to plan ahead and n the administration that the majority of parents do want a Mask Mandate to protect everyone. Francella, what kind of pushback have you gotten specifically . Obviously your governor disagrees with you. Correct. The governors Executive Order took away the power from the local elected officials by banning the masks. Now, this was not a problem last year. We had a whole School Year with Mask Mandates. This only became a problem after his Executive Order and there are countless of lawsuits pending that will determine, a Judge H have to determine if his Executive Order is valid or not. Griff i guess lastly in just the 30 seconds that weve got, why do you believe so strongly in the mandate per se as opposed to just letting parents make their best decision . Well, the reason for the masks is not a fashion choice, it is not a political statement. This piece of Cloth Or Paper is only intended to protect your nose and your mouth from having the virus enter into your lungs. I will give you an example, a firefighter has to put on an Oxygen Mask in order to prevent their lungs getting filled with smoke, well, in this case, the smoke is the virus. The only difference is you cannot see it. So the reason for this mandate is to plan ahead for the months that are coming ahead, the Fall And Winter months where going outside is no longer going to be an option and kids are going to be in the classroom and the virus can be spreading, so the mask is just one of several steps together that will prevent the virus. Griff it is, indeed. Franzella chacon, thank you for taking the time. Thank you, franzella. Thank you very much. M. Landfall tomorrow. Eye of the storm over Long Island, 11 00 a. M. And, again, this is a large storm. Just because youre not in Long Island, dont say, well, then we are fine. Its long Island Flooding in new York City, Storm Moves north affecting westchester, hudson valley, capital district, right up the line. Governor, your first question comes from John Campbell of ganet. John, make sure that your microphone is unmuted. Hi, governor, my question is you know, the state is in a position where theres change in Leadership And Governorship within days, that can happen right smack in the middle of the storm and big reason for that is because you decided on a Twoweek Transition, so i want to know why was that Twoweek Transition appropriate and why are you the appropriate person to lead the Storm Effort rather than Kathy Hochul. Theres a lot to transitioning a government, im the longest serving governor in the country right now. You dont just flip a Switch And Turn over a governor. You dont want Max Exodus of people, you dont want a situation where you dont brief the incoming administration on the important projects, et cetera. Normally you have after an election two months, you have november and december to transition governments. And transition, i was a Transition Director for my fathers administration. I also worked in the transition of federal governments. Normally in two months its a Hurryup Schedule Briefing papers, policy papers, where are we on the massive Construction Projects we are doing, where are we on federal relations and what we need to do from washington and theres a lot. We said two weeks which is a very short period of time and im Governor Today and i am in charge. This is also something that ive done a few times, john. So thats why. Thanks, very much, governor. Your next question from bill mahoney, politico. Thank you, governor, my question is somewhat along the next lines. Are you going to be focus on this and are you going to be moving, whats your involvement going to be as this unfolds . I will be 100 available to the people of the state of New York every minute of the day which i have been for my entire tenure as governor. And i have been working on this already for the past 24 hours and we will continue right through the storm and then we will assess the damage. Lets take one more question, guys. Governor, your next question comes from ryan of the new York Law journal. Ryan, your mike is open. Can you hear me . Yes, sir. Yes, thank you. Yesterday your Personnel Attorney rita suggested information that would call into Question Credibility and she did not provide any evidence, ms. Bennetts attorney that might raise the level of post employment retaliation, what do you make of that and why do you think its appropriate for your attorney to make those remarks without providing significant evidence to back up the claim . Yeah, you know, i dont want to get into albany politics which is what has been going on for the past few months. This is about a Storm Briefing to save lives of New Yorkers. But youre the journal, if you think justice is to accept a complaint from a person without investigation and without Credibility Determinations and without looking at past actions of that person, then you dont know what the Justice System is. Youve never been in a situation where you just reiterate complaints and you dont investigate them and you dont say whether or not the law even applies to them. Thats not justice. Thats a Bulletin Board posting complaints. Justice is, i hear the complaint. We welcome everyone to come forward and that takes courage and that takes bravery, but we need to know the facts, right . I can make a complaint about you today. Maybe its true, maybe its in the true, but thats why they do investigations. New yorkers, please take this storm seriously. I know its short notice. Think Super Storm Sandy, that was a category 1. This is a category 1. Hopefully we dont come anywhere near the damage of Super Storm Sandy but we do not know and as i sit here today, i cannot tell you whether or not the damage is going to be less or more than Super Storm Sandy. It depends on how fast the Storm Moves and where it goes and we will be working around the clock and we will do everything that we need to do to be prepared. As i said, this team has done this numerous times. We have more equipment than ever before. We have more personnel than ever before, but i Cant I Cant substitute for intelligent action by New Yorkers and i understand the instinct of we are going to shelter in place, maybe the Weather Forecast is wrong. I dont want to leave my home, I Cant tell you how many people i have in the middle of a storm helped out of a House Carrying Everything on their back through flood waters with their children, putting them into boats in dangerous situations and people saying to me, i should have left yesterday. I should have left yesterday. Please, please dont make that mistake. We will update you constantly and if there is a change and theres no rational causality for you leaving your house, i will tell you that, but we know what happened in the hudson valley, we know what happened in Long Island, we know what happened in the lowlying areas in queens and in the rock aways. Weve seen this movie. We dont need to see it again. Please act responsibly. Thank you very much. Griff new York Governor Andrew Cuomo holding a Press Conference warning New Yorkers the eye of Hurricane Henri will be over Long Island at 11 00 a. M. Tomorrow. His resignation becoming official. He will leave office in the next few days facing questions from the local press over why he rather than incoming governor Kathy Hochul is not there in the face of the storm which could have lasting Flood Events and sparring with one reporter over his Sexual Harassment accusers, anita. Anita he said he wasnt going to take other questions, but at The End he did take that one question, so there you have that. Griff, as he said, Hurricane Henri expected to make landfall in New York and Long Island and drench New England i think he said some time Tomorrow Morning around 7 00 a. M. Adam klotz has been watching this. Adam, what are we expecting, is it going to be the governor was saying he hopes this is not like hurricane Super Storm Sandy, what do you think . Adam well, sandy is a very rare event and perhaps it wont get to that stage but its still something to pay attention to. 75 miles an hour winds currently hurricane sitting just off the coast of north carolina. Now the movement of this does lift up towards Long Island getting by Tomorrow Morning, Tomorrow Afternoon but i do think things begin to deteriorate overnight tonight into Tomorrow Morning so even in the tropical Storm Or Hurricane hasnt a rise yet, you will start to notice it and feel if you live in some of the areas. Here are forecast models and a number of them run it into Long Island and perhaps drift little eastern and many southern New England, but we have a pretty good idea where the storm is ultimately going to go and where that is, we see the Hurricane Warnings now in place over a good stretch in Long Island and portions of southern New England. The concerns with this hurricane or perhaps very strong tropical storm, we will see where it is and the original yellow band is going to be at least tropical Storm Force winds that are not as strong as Hurricane Forced Winds but its a wide area. Its wide enough that we could see down trees and downed Power Lines and will bring with It Wall of water, plenty of spots 3 to 5 feet of Storm Surge and then other a rain maker. This is the Rainfall Forecast and narrow band there but wherever it makes landfall, 3 to 6 inches of rain, it really slows down once we get land and we can pile up those numbers. Anita, isolated areas and 10 inches of rain. Lots to pay attention in the last 24 hours, back over to you. Anita adam klotz, thank you so much for that. Griff. Griff one Week Sin catastrophic storm hit haiti, we will hear from an organization helps thousands of people recover next. And there you have it woah. Wireless on the most reliable network nationwide. Wow. Big deal . We get unlimited for just 30 bucks. Sweet, i get that too and mine has 5g included. Thats cool, but ours save us serious clamaroonies. Relax people, my wireless is crushing it. Thats because you all have Xfinity Mobile with your internet. Its wireless so good, it keeps one upping itself. Thousand homes damaged in haiti when a devastating earthquake struck the country last week. The Death Toll stands at nearly 2200. 300 persons still missing. Joining me now assistant to the Vice President , programs and government relations, edward grim. Edward, good to see you. I want to know what is Samaritan First doing there and tell us about their efforts, we spoke with your father last week at the same time as the earthquake had just hit. Whats happened in the weeks since . Griff, great talking to you again. Thanks for having us on. Samaritan first responded immediately after earthquake sending Cargo Plane with Water Filtration systems and tarps and solar lights just like The One when you visited in 2010 down there. We sent Assessment Team as well. Medical, theres orthopedic and surgical needs and 3dc8 Cargo Plane down there with 84 tons of material. We have a surgical hospital set up now, orthopedic capable hospital treating patients starting today and we will be the main hospital in this area. This is in laqaui, outside the capital there in Rural Area but where this is where tens and thousands have lost their homes, need clean water but also surgical care. Samaritans first is responding to the immediate needs for the haitians that are suffering but we do them because we want to love them in the name of jesus christ. Griff for our viewers laqaui, very difficult area where the quake hit the hardest you you were able to air lift a Field Hospital in there and set it up. How difficult is that logistically . Its a challenge but we got unbelievable team and we have the aircraft to do it but unfortunately there wasnt an airfield close enough. We had to land in the Capital Port Aprince but the United States Military and Coast Guard were extremely helpful. They sent helicopters right away. They were doing Search And Rescue as well but help get the hospital established because it would be the mainlevel care, all patients will be transported to our hospital because theres no other care. So be praying for our team thats responding. We do need christian doctors, nurses, orthopedic specialists to come and volunteer and they can go to websites, samaritans first. Org. We have the team on the down and we are not leaving until the need is done and we will be there a while and i ask that your viewers be praying for those, especially those suffering and hurting right now and we can be the hands and feet of jesus. Griff i want to ask you on this type of good work because i did have the privilege 11 years ago to go see it firsthand with your father, you guys pretty much remained present there the entire time but going forward as this falls off of the news headlines, what does samaritans first need to continue your mission . Now, we are going to be there a while like i said. We will be providing temporary housing and water. We will have specialists down there for a while but the surgical need is not going to go away. With Rescue Efforts people get hurt and we remember during last earthquake outbreak. Theyre already in political strife and reeling from The Press earthquake. This is going to exacerbate and make it worse. We know the needs there. We arent going anywhere. We have a team on the ground and commit today them. Griff just in the last few seconds have got your father on another issue, calling for a day of prayer for afghanistans, is that correct . Thats right. This is a manmade disaster In Afghanistan. Poor leadership calls It Man is not going to get us out, only god can create a miracle. We need the innocent out of afghanistan and my father is asking churches to pray for the country of afghanistan right now. Griff thank you, Edward Graham and samaritans first for coming on with this. Samaritansfirst. Org if you want to follow along. Edward, thank you so much. Thanks for having me. Griff, anita what a day, the latest In Afghanistan, the briefing of the pentagon, the new York Governors Press Conference and now a message from samaritans first, great to be with you. Anita great to be with you. With all the news some people may have forgotten there was a massive earthquake in haiti that killed 500 people. Griff, thats all for this hour.
