It was based on threat assessment, and Joe Biden decided he was going to ignore the advice of the military, and he was going to do that is his way. And this is a disaster. What are we doing about our Military Equipment . Officials are trying to evacuate thousands of americans and afghans who worked with the u. S. Over the past two decades. This scenario american officials discounted only a month ago. I dont think its going to be something that happens from a friday to you on monday, so i wouldnt necessarily equate the departure of our forces in july, august, or by early september with some kind of immediate deterioration. The State Department says that u. S. Already has relocated 2,000 and afghans to virginia where the government will process their applications. There is planning for Tens Of Thousands more, though that depend on getting afghans on the planes In Kabul and out of the country. The State Department has maintained that any Military Force that takes over the country will not have legitimacy. Theres no reason to believe that, and it was wrong all along. The taliban was always fighting to resurrect itself. This is a sacred religious goal for them. And then they have now accomplished it. And it has both taliban and Al Qaeda fighters, but the Obama Administration did not want to i tried very hard to follow up on that story and to get a closer look, and we were denied, denied, denied because it did not fit the narrative. They walked in lockstep. They always have. But the taliban quickly realized with the help of pakistan that the key to getting the united states to leave was to play along with this narrative that they were just a nationalistic force. They were trying to defend their country against the invaders, and they dont have any desires outside of the u. S. , and it is fundamentally, blatantly dishonest as i narrative that they have changed.
