Ainsley how does this play out . Will this Hold Up in court . It probably will because the standard that Applies is relatively low, a rational basis. The courts have been highly deferential to states. In fact, the State Mandate of this kind in massachusetts was upheld in the early 1900s. There is also a lower Court Decision involving mandated Measle Shots in New York that was upheld. But, it can be challenged. We have seen a challenge by Law Professor recently who has natural antibodies and is challenging george mason university, which is requiring him, against the advice of his doctors, to get vaccinated anyway. So we are going to have to look at the details on this socalled New York pass. But the key here is that many of these proposals have been supported by people who say we really have to make life hard on the unvaccinated. Cnn medical analyst said that recently. We have to make it as difficult as possible to live without the vaccine. So there is a type of coerced Consent Model that is kicking in here. Steve i was reading Last Night on this channel, Sean Hannity was talking about how Apparently in New York City only about 33 of africanamericans have gotten the shot, that means two thirds of africanamericans in New York would be barred from going indoors to restaurants and shops and. It also leads a contradiction of other activities that are not prescribed in this way. Two professors recently came out and said that going out in public should now be viewed as a privilege, not a right. And they analogized it to driving where you have to get a license. And thats how far this rhetoric is going. You know, they are ignoring the fact that being in public impacts other rights, religious observation, free speech, right of association. But they want to use this sort of Driving Model that if you are not vaxxed, if you are not vaccinated then you are sort of like an unlicensed driver who i presume has to stay in your house. You have great defense of the constitution, with these laws being implemented in the country and seems like a lot of society is accepting. It is that a chilling affect . I was saying oh my gosh we got to turn it on Fox News on my App. On my phone. I want to hear. We listened to it while woe were driving. He played a lot of very strange videos of him kissing and hugging a lot of people. He says he kisses black, whites, men, women, this is just how he was raised. Listen to a portion of that Press Conference. I have been making the same gesture in public all my life. I actually learned it from my mother and from my father. It is meant to convey warmth, nothing more. Indeed, there are hundreds, if not thousands of photos of me using the exact same gesture. I do it with everyone. Black and white, young and old, straight, and lgbtq, powerful people. Friends, strangers, people who i meet on The Street. Lawrence it was creepy what he put together. We have heard from pretty much every top democrat nationally and statewide and they say he is unfit for office. But it comes down to whether or not the assembly speaker, a fellow by the name of Carl Heastie who is overseeing the Impeachment Proceedings who, for the most part, has broken his back trying to protect Governor Cuomo. Now yesterday he admits, okay. He is unfit for office. And cant remain and so now what they are doing is they are hoping to conclude the investigation into impeachment which then would lead to the articles of impeachment where there would be a vote. That could actually kick him out of office. Otherwise, he may not go. He might just sit in that chair until the end of his term. Ainsley the albany District Attorney in addition to that impeachment investigation, he says he is going to conduct his own Criminal Investigation. He has reached out to the a. G. s office. Letitia james to get all of the evidence that she has uncovered which actually is public. Youve read the whole thing, right, lawrence . Lawrence i read the report. Its 165 pages. It was so telling. So statements from each the Governors Interview referring to ms. Bennett. He said he was very aware that she was a Sexual Assault survivor, so he was very fragile with her. That he tries to mentor her. Just the Mind Games that this guy was playing. The most telling thing for me though was the state trooper. There was a sign this young female assigned to his Security Detail, someone willing to take a bullet for him, he touched her inAppropriately. He asked for kisses on multiple occasions and then the commander, the person thats over the Security Detail, she says she felt like in combination with the governor, they tried to intimidate her and tried to silence her. This shows you that this is very systemic within the cuomo administration. Its not just when it comes to these accusers but even the folks who came forward when it came to the Nursing Home scandal, they felt like they were intimidated as well. We heard some of the audiotape. Steve what a stunning fall from grace. A little more than a year ago where he was on tv every day talking about covid. And people were saying, you know, maybe he should run for president and not Joe Biden. Joe biden was talking about Covid Yesterday from the East Room of the White House, at the conclusion he was going to take some questions about covid, but, of course, some reporters asked about cuomo and he had this to say. Said if the investigation confirms the allegations against Governor Cuomo, then he should resign. I stand by that statement. Are you now calling on him to resign . Yes. And if he doesnt resign, do you believe he should be impeached and removed from office . Lets take one thing at a time here. I think he should resign. I understand that the State Legislature may decide to impeach. I dont know that for a fact. Ive not read all that data. Do you think a photo of you embracing him in his selfdefense to say that these are commonplace kind of embraces that he made in the agencies against him. Do you condone that . Look, im not going to fly speck this. Im sure there are some embraces that were totally innocent. But Apparently the Attorney General decided there were things that werent. Lawrence put a button on this, guys, its interesting how measured the president was on this. My only question for the president is would you be as measured if there was an r in front of the name or behind the name as you are with cuomo right now. He did use that picture and you did say he should resign but if it was a republican, you would say they should be impeached. Ainsley the president said some of these hugs might have been innocent but you have these 11 1 women. According to Letitia James and her report she believes these women. One of them, Charlotte Bennett. She said in her interview i took notes of this. I gave them to his aides, i documented what he had done to me over, you know, the course of the time i worked for him. She said i talked to my parents about it i talked to my family. I talked to my friends. They all saw these notes, too. She says i have the evidence and i have the facts. Lawrence more witnesses for the other cases. Appointed to outside lawyers to oversee these cases independent. They have their own teams from the government. Because, it just shows you it was already pervasive within the new York State government. The cuomos have a lot of power. His dad was beloved and so they went to these outside folks and they really went with the witnesses and what they said in the investigation is that a lot of these folks sent Text Messages or told other people went and talked to those folks to fake make sure they would tell the truth. Steve if he decides to resign that would make it easy on a lot of people. Ainsley if he resigns its an open seat the Lieutenant Governor takes over. Steve until the end of the term.
