And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there O Say does that starspangled Banner Yet Wave . Oer the land of the free and the Home Of The Brave Pete beautiful rendition, beautiful shots across america as you wake up with us on this Sunday Edition of Fox Friends. Welcome, so great to have you. Lawrence, thank you. Rachel good morning. Lawrence thank you for inviting me back. Rachel thanks for upping the Fashion Game on the Show Pete and i feel a lot of pressure. Loving petes tie. Seen it before. Second day of lawrence. Lawrence this is the fox Friends Family coming together on the Fashion Game. Pete august 1st. Can you believe it . Lawrence got to write this down. Pete you know how many times i releaserred that in my office . August 1st. Summer is here. Hope you had beautiful weather there were tough spots across yesterday. We start with americas Crime Crisis a 4yearold girl is fighting for our life after a shooting outside after indianapolis Funeral Home. Lawrence police say four others were shot during the shooting, after a Funeral Service. Rachel Ashley Strohmier with what we know. What do we know . Reporter detectives are investigating what led to the firing of the shots at Funeral Home. The initial findings, that a man was dropped off in the lot while the Funeral Service was in progress. He started talking to a car that may have been attending the Funeral Service. That led to gunfire. The three adults and a Little Girl was hit. The adults are expected to survive, but the Little Girl is in critical condition. This is the way indianapolis operates. We have to think about our actions and what we do. We have to be mentors of younger generation. We need to step up and show the younger generation what needs to be done and the proper way to do it. Reporter indianapolis has seen eight mass shootings involving four victims this year. The Citys Mayor called the shooting a cowardly act. Pleaded with residents to help them with any information that could lead to an arrest. Back to you guys. Pete thank you, Ashley Strohmier. What happened in indianapolis there something indicative on our show what is happening across the country. Lawrence indianapolis leads the nation in electronic ankle monitors. Theyre known for putting violent offenders back on The Street when we know they have been already suspected of committing the crime. Also some of them have already gone through the conviction process. More likely to let them back on The Street. It is not surprising to continue to see violent crime on The Streets there. We cover Ad Story a couple months ago where someone was, had beat his girlfriend with a hammer. Three months later they let him out. He killed her the next time he saw her. This is a problem there. We dont know all the details surrounding this, but it is not surprising. Why you see murders rising across the country. Look at the Murder Rates up 16 . In major u. S. Cities. 259 more murders than last year in 2020. 548 more murders than 2019. You cant just say it is the pandemic. Those numbers as well. Last night the Police Chief of, where was he from . Pete charleston. Rachel charleston. He was on judge jeanine. He said this was all very preventable. Im very angry. I talk to my colleagues around the country and there is a resounding theme. We do have great support here. We have a very safe city but our state since recording data since 1960 in 2020 recorded the most violent crime, the most killings. Everyone of these victims has a face. Everyone of these communities deserves better and i hear the sound of a wailing mother who is just lost a child and i promise you can never get that out of your mind when you hear that happening too much it is preventable. It is predictable. And there is so much more that we can do when we arrest violent, armed, violent repeat criminal offenders which were doing all the time. They need to go to jail. They need to stay there. That is not happening. Pete he is right. Mentioned 16 increase in some cities. It is up 100, 150 . All depends where you are. How demoralizing a Catchandrelease Policy is. I can only think of Military Context we had that couldnt hold insurgents we captured. As a result they would go back to their village and town. Most awful for the lawabiding people who provided tip. Didnt you roll this Guy Up three days back . Now im targeted. Lawrence, you called 911, hoping we got rid of the problem at least for a while and it is manifest. Rachel see something, say something, if you say something they get them and release them. Pete now youre the target. Lawrence the big takeaway, you have got the Police Chief. Weve seen this across the country now, philly, chicago, all the Police Chiefs are speaking up. The community is clearly frustrated. Were showing interview after interview. What are politicians doing to curb the violence that is happening . D. C. Experiencing carjacking after carjacking, shooting after shooting, but Mayor Bowser is celebrating her birthday maskless, sending out a tweet that the Mask Policy would be reimplemented In The City. More of the rules are for thee not me. Rachel here is the tweet. She said lets stay in this together, d. C. , by masking up. We can protect our community and keep d. C. Open. So that policy that she was going to implement going into effect on saturday or sunday. Pete saturday. Rachel on friday she went and partied with Dave Chappelle and others. Lawrence i love Dave Chappelle, but they got a problem going on In The City which is crime is up. You got shootings happen all over the place. A young girl was killed there. They finally solved that Murder Case but it is Night After night. It is becoming the new chicago. This is every city. So why are the leaders able to go have fun . Because they have security details. Pete exactly right. Look at numbers. One Covid Death from July 14th to 28th. And 11 homicides in washington, d. C. Which one, including three shootings by the way Last Night. We dont know they were fatal. Think of the Mind Set what you said. I will tweet out on friday, Mask Up, d. C. I know the technical deadline is not until Saturday Morning at 5 00 a. M. So what i will do, i will go have a big Ol Party with all my rich friends because im technically within the legal bounds even though i told everyone else the masks are coming. Reinforces how arbitrary these things are. On friday night, dont worry about the virus, on Saturday Morning at 5 00 a. M. The virus is coming for you. You know after what we saw with gavin newsom, after what we saw with Nancy Pelosi, they dont really believe they have to abide by the same policies theyre pushing on everybody else. Here is the most recent example from Nancy Pelosi, taking a picture with the most recent member of congress, well, covid wont get us for 10 seconds while we take the picture. Rachel is it they dont believe they have to go by the rules or is it more important they dont believe this virus is very dangerous . So if you thought the virus was dangerous, she doesnt know that, she doesnt know that member of congress very well. Pete affirmation rachel take it off right now. The point, we dont think that. Pete she believes the vaccine she has taken works, right which is a good thing. She should get rid of Personal Protective Equipment to live her life. Here they come again heavyhandedly, Mask Up except for my 49 birthday. Lawrence that is virtue signaling. Saw this from texas democrats were pro mask when it comes to riding on planes. Time for their Photography Rachel private plane. Lawrence on private plane. They didnt need masks. I think to your point, rachel, dont think they actually believe this nonsense. It is the new virtue signal, were the ones being saved. The other people that decided to not wear masks are dumb, arent intelligent and they are the ones hurting america. I was also just at the store the other day. One lady shopping, the Sales Associate says, you know you can take off your mask if you have been vaccinated. She looked at the Sales Associate, right now it is psychological for me. Me and the Sales Associate look at Each Other. We both knew, this is crazy at this point. Rachel when youre on a plane. I fly out here every week. Im so astonished we submitted to this ridiculous idea of being masked in a plane but we can take it off with eating our peanuts. So the virus is not transmitting there but then i have to put it back on. Also dumb, but before we move on, i think Dan Bongino brought this up on his show, we created a class of super citizens where the rules dont apply. That is the other thing we need to talk about. Because what america greats were all equal under the law, whether its a federal mandate or actual law, we all have to abide. But were seeing that certain people dont. Whether youre an Elite Politician who doesnt have to wear a mask or you can go get your hair done when the rest of us are having gray roots or if youre an illegal citizen somehow gets to fly without proper documentation but all of us have to take off our shoes, show our i. D. Lawrence no consistency. Rachel no consistency, that is what is frustrating american people. Pete comes to washington d. C. , 11 homicides, one death from covid. What is the real threat to that community . Fox news alert. Five people hurt in shooting in New Orleans bourbon street. Happened at 3 a. M. Nothing generally good happens at 3 00 a. M. One person detained. The investigation ongoing. We will update you as w get more information. Socalled squad members turned Capitol Hill into a homeless encampment. Protesters Camping Outside the capitol building, along Cori Bush, ilhan Omar And Ayanna pressley. Protesting the end of the national Eviction Moratorium, end of not paying your rent. They brought in sleeping bags, blankets, i have a long with snacks like pizza and chips. Wonderful. In San Francisco, dozens of activists served speaker Nancy Pelosi with an Eviction Notice outside of her mansion. She demanded she reconvene congress, extend the Eviction Moratorium. We have a a lot tO Say about it. Popular youtube podcaster, Barack Obama and Donald Trump Five Million Dollars for a Sitdown Interview. Value Founder Patrick David told his Three Million founders, he wants the discussion being about unifying america. Sure. We talk to Beth David about his offer to the former president s. Those are the headlines. Same time for Five Million Dollars . Is that what it is . Lawrence going to be unity. Rachel i wouldnt watch if it was separate. Like a train wreck. We want to see them together. Pete very good value, got them both to do it. Rachel im in. Lawrence anyway, till ahead as several districts go woke with it is curriculum, One District Talks about its love for america. The patriotic lessons it is teaching its students next. Next to you, apoquel is a dogs best friend. Pete live shot of wildwood, new jersey, where as a matter of fact Donald Trump held a very big rally. I had the opportunity to cover it. That boardwalk was packed. Rachel that it was. Pete always, always. Today, not so much. I didnt see a single person. Rachel its a little early. Pete get up, new jersey. What are you doing . Lawrence maybe theyre having breakfast now . Rachel they are. Pete we cover on this program a lot of curriculum of schools. Because of covid19 and the zoom classroom, a lot of insparents exposed to what is going on in the. Critical Race Theory, antiracism, call it what you want, unions and School Districts are pushing it into the curriculum. We have a good story. One School District northern side of pittsburgh, the mars district, said enough. A new Mission Statement, patriotic Mission Statement for students in their area, just outside of pittsburgh. Here is a portion of their new Mission Statement as a School District. They said the proposed revision can be summed up quite easily. The mars area School District loves america. Rachel so simple. Pete awesome. Awesome. Rachel this is a lesson for everybody across the Country Lo is frustrated. Dont need to bother you know, die dissecting critical Race Theory at the School Board meeting. We talk a lot about the the marxist roots here on fox. Simple. Our School District loves america. How easy is that . There are some more things in the interest statement. It is interesting, some of these things were standard stuff all of us Grew Up with. Lawrence very simple. Rachel it is. It says well display the u. S. Flag at all of it is buildings and athletic facilities and in each classroom. Well provide the opportunity for all student, staff, visitors to recite the pledge before each inperson and remote school day. I love that they included remote School Days as well. Play the national anthem before the games, you know all athletic events. Promote civility and decency, treatment of others, respect for free speed conscious religious liberty rights of students, administrators, students and employees. Very easy to do. Lawrence the interesting thing about this, i dont want to be a debbie downer, this is all the stuff i did in school. Actually in texas, every single day all schools say the american flag and we say the Texas Flag as well. I love that. Lawrence we have american flag, Texas Flag. How to, we put the flag up every day. We take it down every day. They teach all of this in school. Play it before all of that is normal behavior in texas. I know weve gotten so far away from this. This is still embedded in the culture. Yes, this may be an offensive message, lets reestablish how things used to be but it still doesnt go against what is happening in the culture. How do you prevent this . It is in the music. It is in the books now. These teachers, weve known from our reporting from, my investigate, they have been infiltrating the Education System for 20 plus years. What will we do about it . I love the proamerican stance, i think it is beautiful and continue to push that they have to teach the stuff at home before they go into the classroom or they will lose their kids. We found this out when i went to Lowden County to report on it, our kids turned on us, not on the teachers. That is why theyre so frustrated. Rachel the kids dont want parents to go in, they will be embarrassed, shamed, a lot of social pressure if your parent is fighting crt. Pete you Cant Count on School District to provide values for your kid but you want to couple on the values. Inside the Mission Statement, it says affirm teachers concepts false blame against sex or religion. White guilt well not teach that here. There is no oppressor or oppressed. Going against critical Race Theory. Using america to do it makes sense. Rachel sure does people people living rentfree in new york city. One landlord says he is Tens Of Thousands of dollars, he is ou. See disneys jungle cruise. Applebees and a movie, now thats eatin good in the neighborhood. New projects means new project managers. You need to hire. I need indeed. Indeed you do. When you sponsor a job, you immediately get your shortlist of quality candidates, whose resumes on indeed match your job criteria. Visit indeed. Com hire and get started today. Show me the olympics. Whose resumes on indeed match your job criteria. [ Buglers Dream playing ]. Lawrence were back with quick olympic headlines. Simone biles pulls out of another event. This comeses a day after she bowed out on the vault and uneven bar after the consultation with the medical staff. No word whether she will compete in the Balance Beam finals this week. This as swimmer Calaeb Dressel beats his own 50meter Freestyle Record to win his fourth Gold Medal of the game. His fifth would come hours later as the usa taking the top spot in the 400 meet medley. As xander. Schauflle wins the gold in golf. Pete lawmakers failed to push through a last minute extension, while progressives want to end evict shuns overnight on Capitol Hill. New yorkers are still in luck thanks to a bill signed by Governor Cuomo banning all may and Eviction Foreclosure proceedings through the end of this month. What us did it mean with landlords dealing with tenants who wont pay up . He joins us now to discuss this. Clarence, thanks so much for being here. Often, too often forgotten in any of the discussion are landlords who rely on rent, some are smaller landlords like yourself. How has this impacted you . Well, good morning, pete. All i can say that i, like my home that i have now, turned into an Investment Property and i plan to pass it on to my kids but that dream is, it is gone now because of the simple fact i am too far behind in arrears to even complete that or even get to that concept. Pete so you own a twofamily row house. How much are you owed in back rent and do you expect to see any of that . Im owed over 65,000. My Tenant Hasnt paid since august of 2019. I, i know that i can sue or go through litigation in court but i do not expect any of that money. Pete dont expect any of that money. Received any Rent Payment or effectively the checks stopped when the Eviction Moratorium started . In all actuality the checks stopped before the Eviction Ban started. Take my tenant to court. Pete youre not getting paid. You cant take him to court. Members of congress sleeping out on the Capitol Steps to continue this Eviction Moratorium. They would continue it indefinitely if they could. What is a landlord to do . Absolutely nothing. Thats, thats the basic, temperature or the conditions that we have. We cant take them to court. We still have to provide maintenance, heat, hot water, gas, maintenance, all of that. It is coming right out of our pockets. Pete eventually you could say, im out, right . And then theyre out. Is there a point you say it is not worth it at all . I think The System is designed to have the smaller independent landlords to give up but, at this point, so many people are, so many small landlords are behind in arrears that it just doesnt make sense. They will sell out to a private investor that offers them cash without any type of contingencies or conditions. Pete clarence, do you feel like anyone is speaking up for you, for landlords . Tell you the truth, no, actually no. Pete you vote for leaders. Theyre sleeping out on the steps, helping out folks who wont pay the rent. Youre one providing a place for them to live yet you have no options . Thats absolutely correct. I feel like, it, i always equate it to the scenario ever your employer is not paying but they still want you to come to work and do your duties and responsibilities. That is pete your tenant and others are receiving Unemployment Or Unemployment extension which could contribute to Rent Payments, right . My actual tenant was subletting the place to someone else. She was getting paid and meanwhile not turning over any of those profits to me. Pete that feels criminal to me. I cannot even fathom that. I cant imagine what youre going through with this, clarence, extremely enlightening. Thanks for being here. Good luck. Got it. Pete i hope someone represents you at some point. Rachel an organization that helps Law Enforcement families who have children with Special Needs is accusing facebook of Censorship And Antipolice bias. Pete the Tech Giant marking this photo showing dozens of officers, well get to knit a second, dozens of officers with a Volunteer Police Chaplain and Therapy Dog as quote, spam, saying the photo violates their Community Standards. Lawrence we talked about the story yesterday. We decided to invite Blue Hearts for Heroes Cofounder and he joins us right now. Matthew, thank you so much for joining the program. We talked about this story yesterday. It is cheer that these Social Media giants they cannot look at every single Post T has to be within the algorithm. So my question for you is, do you think Police Officers and Law Enforcement in general have become synonymous with something that is spam or hateful or something that shouldnt be on Social Media, they didnt even look at the message you guys were promoting, they just saw cops . Lawrence, thank you for the question. I agree 100 . I think Law Enforcement has taken a turn for the worse with different Media Sources and the public and other people out there. I think that there are facebook employees that are looking at certain posts, they see something with Law Enforcement and right away they block it or they put it as spam because like you said, Law Enforcement equals bad, definitely 100 believe that. Rachel it is crazy, the name of the organization is Blue Hearts for heroes. Hard for me to believe that that would be something that would be flagged by Social Media. Tell us again a little bit more about all the good work your organization does. Of course rachel, thank you so much. Blue hearts for heroes is something that robert around i tried to make even more than a difference what we were doing as Law Enforcement officers. There is no other organization out there we can find that is specifically helping Law Enforcement families who have children with Special Needs. Were trying to bridge that gap between the Law Enforcement officers out there patrolling these streets every single day with the weight of the world on their shoulders. Going home having to deal with children with Special Needs and not getting the support from their families or from their friends whoever doesnt know what theyre dealing with. We want to bridge the gap, give them that support, so they can be out on The Street, they can have a clear mind. And know that we have their backs and were helping them when we get home. Pete matthew, a beautiful mission. Lawrence it really is. Have you gotten any response, any indication what part of the Community Standards you have violated . Has facebook said anything . That is one of the big issues were dealing with. I have a Feeling A lost Law Enforcement organizations out there are dealing with the same exact thing. They never tell us anything. They block the post and put the post back up when they want to. I want to thank you guys, for Law Enforcement putting out the article that is it one of the reasons the post came back all of sudden. We reached out to facebook and they give us no indications. They dont tell us why were blocking something how are we supposed to stop getting blocked in future. Rachel we reached out to facebook too. We have heard no comment or back. That is very special to my heart. I have a Special Needs daughter. I want to congratulate you finding time, energy to address this very important cause. I hope other people watching will donate to your organization. Lawrence good job, matthew. Pete thank you for your service, everything you do every day. I really appreciate it. Rachel turning to your headlines a Boston Train Operator is placed on leave after a collision injuring 25 people. Pete someone square away the private. Took 75 years. Got it done. God bless him. Good for him. Lawrence now to this. Could commemorate the 20 years since September 11th, today starts the start of Tunnel To Towers never forget walk. Pete Chairman And Ceo Frank Siller is beginning his 42 day, 500mile virginia, starting in arlington, virginia and stopping in shanksville, pennsylvania and stop at the same path his Brother Steven did in manhattan. Check with frank in Fire Station 5 in arlington, virginia. Frank, when i think you cant do more you keep giving. Talk to us what youre doing to honor the 20th Anniversary, sir. Look, 20 years ago we lost 2977 great americans just going to work that day. A lot were firstresponders like my brother that gave his life up. He was married had five kids. It is so important we never forget what happened 20 years ago. So im walking from the 3 00 places that had such unbelievable loss of life. Starting at the pentagon, to shanksville, pennsylvania where flight 73 went down, we remember Todd Beamer lets roll and they saved a lot of people on the ground and of course ending up at Ground Zero in new york city, following my brothers final heroics footsteps he ran through the brooklyn battery tunnel. I will walk through there as the sunrises on the 20th Anniversary of this year, to make sure americans never forget what happened. Rachel i love what youre doing. Again never forget. I have always been surprised, frank, young kids arent learning the story, sometimes in school. Ive been shocked about it. I think everything youre doing is, is so important for us to just keep going back and remembering, there are so many lessons, not just about terrorism, but really about the heroism and who we are as americans. I agree. I couldnt agree with you more. That is one of the reasons im walking. I hope kids say what is this guy doing . Their parents or grandparents tell them what happened 20 years ago. A lot of stories told but a lot of stories untold. Captain Billy Burke in the final department in his farewell let his men get out of the building but stayed with a woman who couldnt get out. He gave his life up. Just so many, the man with the red bandanna, wells crowder, going in and out of the building working that day. These stories have to be told. I make sure i tell as many as possible during this journey. Lawrence you sure do, frank. You just paid off a house, a mortgage for a widow. Just amazing what you guys do. You give all the money to the people that have been impacted. Just check their tax documents. This organization is true and they send all the money to the people. Well check in with frank all morning to see the start of the walk. Pete frank, real quick, i love you, are you in shape . Can you do 500 miles . Are you ready for this . Im in good shape for the shape im in. Rachel im going to steal that line. Pete my money is on you. Listen, so many people will be joining me. I got unbelievable things from my family that im wearing that, with pictures of my brother, right here, on my heart as im walking so i cant fail them. I will complete this. You can bank on it. Lawrence Welcome Back, the family after hitandrun victim in Los Angeles is expressing concern that driver in the deadly, in the deadly crash will not be punished because of the d. A. s policies. 40yearold Journalist Margo Span was walking her dog in march when she was struck and killed. Recent talks with the prosecutor believe District Attorney George Gascon is talking about a Plea Deal for suspect, just offering the Suspect Jail time. Her Brother Reverend Peter Span And Terry span join me now. Peter, terry, condolences to you guys. When you talked with the prosecutor, peter, what did he say . Well, first of all i want to thank you for having me on. I know my Brother Terrence has had direct conversations with the prosecutor. He has been talking directly. Lawrence terrence, what did he say . What did the prosecutor tell you . We had gone out to Los Angeles and we talked with the Police Officers and they said the case was solid, after the incident occurred. We came back and we talked to the prosecutors and they indicate there is a policy that the District Attorney has that does not, that allows for people to not be required to serve jail time if theyre probation eligible. Doesnt matter what the crime is. Doesnt matter what the facts and circumstances are surrounding the case. Weve done a lot to try to change their mind. We talked to the public. Weve been extremely frustrated, in fact outraged by the fact that someone could run over someone in The Street like theyre trash and just keep going. We sent over 80 letters from various people around the country. We feel like were politically helpless though because we dont vote in california. Margos family doesnt live in california. Were all over the country. A lot of her friends are all over the country. We feel like were being disregarded because we dont live there in california. So were asking that the citizens of Los Angeles reach out to the District Attorneys office and let them know this is not acceptable. You know the person that is handling that is field director, gene satriano. Her email is gsatriano da. La county. Gov. Lawrence peter, your family added to the long littles of victims impacted by George Gascons policy. This particular suspect did not have a driverss license, insurance and left the scene. Yes. That as my Brother Terrence stated it is very tragic. Were still in shock, you know. My sister margo was walking her dog in the crosswalk at 6 30 a. M. In the morning. Ran a red light. Hit her in the crosswalk. Hit her twice, ran her over, continued to keep going, and had to be tracked down by the police. On top of that he had no drivers license. He had no insurance. And on top of that, they let him go on his own recognizance. So he just left. That is not even a slap on the wrist. And so, who knows if he had stopped there could have been aid rendered to my sister. We dont even treat animals like that. Just decided to run her over, to keep going is extremely disheartening and to hear that the prosecution could, is leaning toward probation to let him walk for not, you know, having to adhere for his crimes is really just saddened our family. Were a family of faith. You know were believing god to help us out and were asking for the public to really raise your voice because margo was an aspiring, inspiring young lady. She was in media. She worked very hard and, you know, we just really, we just really need help. Lawrence peter, terry, im sorry were out of time. Well remember your sister and follow this story. You guys deserve justice. That is not just heartless for the person that committed the crime but the d. A. As well. Thanks for joining us. More Fox Friends after the break. If youve been to a restaurant since the start of the pandemic you may have been asked to scan a Qr Code to access a paperless menu. As the Textless System Gains Popularity should you be concerned about your safety . Kurt the cyberguy joins us now to discuss. Kurt, this is so interesting when i saw this story. I never thought about this when i scan my Qr Code that i could possibly be tracked through cyber, through the Qr Code. Its true, its true. Good morning rachel. This is a blessing to restaurants. Over half the restaurants that are full serve throughout america right now are using Qr Codes. Being able to reduce the labor between 30 to 50 , with Labor Shortages that is a good thing. The idea behind this, lets be safe about not sharing men use. It started that way. All that is great. All that is fantastic, when youre in the setting it is really safe i would say. Now it starts to get creepy on the Privacy Side when you learn that some of these systems that are made available to restaurants then take it another notch, start tracking customers unknowingly with how frequently theres scanning. They also can store your name, phone number, purchase history, Credit Card Info to a database without even asking. In some cases Qr Codes systems are using data pardon me . Rachel that is outrageous, why wouldnt you say from now on give me a paper menu. That might work in the future. So i like ordering from it, because i seem to get my food faster, seems uncomplicated and i get to look at a menu some more, i dont know. It is serving me because letting me know some convenient things i might like to order. Rachel right. Take it to the creepier side of security. Now that restaurants have trained us to use Qr Codes all the time, well you have to be concerned youre out and aabout, see a sign on a post, 20 of restaurant you love, click lear, that could go to a hacker with malware. Think before you scan anything. Go to cyberguy. Com i show you the rest of the tips. Rachel go to cyber guy. There are great tips. I dont know, we had to give up a lot of our security and are, you know, Information In The Name Of safety and health. This is something i never thought about, kurt, until you brought this up. Thanks for joining us this morning. All right. Thanks, kurt. Coming up Bob Woodson, Bill Bennett. That was a beautiful shot of milwaukee. We had one yesterday and little Old Glory playing in the background. Good morning lawrence, pete. Lawrence im in for will cain today, tradition continues of the texas seat. Pete you know what other tradition continues . Pizza hut. There was a fivealarm fire, in the studio. Pizza hut was delivered to the green room. Nobody ordered it. We tried to get it yesterday at 6 00 a. M. They didnt get it here. One piece left. Im not sharing it with you guys. Lawrence i had one segment before the pizza. You see Pete Running Out of studio. I was preparing myself, to eat, it was gone. He took the entire box. Thankful enough to send to the control room. Keep the producers happy. Smart man. Pete tech operators, cameramen, theyre savages. They ate it all. My favorite kind. The only endorsement i want on earth. Pizza hut if youre watching im your man, im your man. I love it with the fire of 1000 suns. Shamelessly make that claim. Lawrence that is Big Deal coming from hegseth. Pete all i want. Rachel never see him want to endorse anything anymore. The clock runs out on the national Eviction Moratorium sending shockwaves through progressive democrats in washington, d. C. Pete congresswoman Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley camp out on the Capitol Steps in protest. Lawrence Griff Jenkins joins us live with the latest. What is going on . Are they wanting to be out there . Is this protest real. Reporter good morning, lawrence, rachel, pete. Theyre not Camping Out for concert tickets. This is led by Cori Bush who is protesting the expiration. I keep hearing oh the Gun Violence, oh, covid19, oh, wear masks, oh, vaccinate. You know oh, keep people in their homes that should not be negotiated. Reporter In The Dead Of Night she tweeted this. It is 2 00 a. M. On sunday. We have not slept since thursday night. The Eviction Moratorium expired. Were in eviction emergency. 11 Million are at Risk Losings homes at any moment. The house needs to reconvene put an end to the crisis. The squad members sending a letter to President Biden demanding he extend the moratorium. There is moratorium. The administration cannot do that after the Supreme Court ruled that last month that the cdc overstepped the authority implementing the ban in the first place. They got show of support from massachusetts Elizabeth Warren who stopped by after taking to the Senate Floor for their cause. Meanwhile out west in San Francisco protesters outside of Speaker Pelosis Mansion demanded she return to washington at once. We call upon you to immediately call congress into session to extend the Eviction Moratorium and keep people in their homes. Were in the midst of the second worst covid surge to date. This is not the time to allow evictions to begin. Reporter unclear if the speaker was home. She did not come out to greet the protesters. For Cori Bush and the squad Camping Out. It is raining here. It appears theyre still there. Well go out later to see if we can find them. Rachel thank you, griff. Give them a little credit. Give the squad a little credit, they actually put, staying there through the night. Elizabeth warren stopped by. She was im okay. [laughter]. Im not going to do that. Theyre tearing down encampments. Lawrence to be fair majority of them out there, theyre professional activists. This is not anything new from them. Especially Cori Bush. Unseated Lacy Clay in missouri after being in congress 20 plus years. I met her an activism doing the Feller Ferguson riots. It was justified. Eric holder said it was justified. Obama administration said it was justified. This is not rational, takes things by the facts. Clarence hammer was on. Pete, you interviewed him. I thought it was interesting what he said about the rent being paid in new york. Pete he is a landlord. Im owed over 65,000. My Tenant Hasnt paid since august of 2019. We cant take him to court. We still have to provide maintenance. Heat, hot water, gas, maintenance, all of that. It is coming right out of our pockets. I think The System is designed to have the smaller independent landlords to give up but at this point, i mean so many people, so many small landlords are behind in arrears that it just doesnt make sense. They will sell out to a private investor that offers them cash without any type of contingencies or conditions. Pete not only does he not have tenants paying, he has a tenant subletting, the tenant is subletting getting paid on unemployment but not paying him because there is no requirement to pay. Small landlords across the country. They have not received income for a year. They have to pay Property Taxes for their mortgages, water bills, maintenance. Very nice of you guys to give credit and be fair. I will give no credit, i will give no fairness to those clowns on the Capitol Steps. Rachel they are clowns. Pete take one of millions of jobs. These people they are advocating are freeloading off The System. This was meant to be a temporary moratorium because of covid to give people relief. It started under the Trump Administration. If youre going to be hit hard because were locking you down well give you temporary relief. Of course the socialist on the Capitol Steps want the temporary relief to be permanent. They want encampments across america that is the view they have. They can stay there as long as they want. I hope it rains for four days in a row. Ultimately their cause is to extend government benefits for people who refuse to pay, refuse to get a job while collecting unemployment. That is not what america is about. Rachel theyre killing the american work ethic. That is what is at the heart of all of this. Creating a bigger dependency class. When you have more people dependent on government. They are dependent on aoc, Cori Bush. These types of socialists. There was something behind it. I am going tO Say it is very dangerous. Youre right. We have employers, you know clamoring pour people to come to work. In fact the damage these people will do is that right now we see a move towards automation and robots because these small business owners, if i cant depend on people to work, i have to filling out how to run my business. This might be a permanent underclass dependent on government handouts. Lawrence the problem it should have never been implemented to begin with. The landowner, i know everyone, the problem they were able to get away with it, especially in new york, No One likes the land. Pete landlord. Lawrence No One likes them anyway. It should have not been implemented the way it is implemented. They have to pay the cost, pay the mortgage, but people are able to go out to spend money i was on the Basketball Court heard it all the time. People had their jobs. Still collecting the check. Still not paying rent. So sad. A lot is happening around the world. Cuba, america didnt take the warning from cuba when they saw the people rallying against socialism. Here is north warning. Thousands of protesters third weekend in france against the covid Health Care Pass as more states pass mandates. The new York Post calls this hysteria of covid. This is a warning to the united states. You didnt take the warning in cuba where people said they did not want socialism. Now we see protests all across the world. People saying, we dont want this hysteria. Pete dont want Vaccine Passports. New York Post says this morning, ignore the hysteria. Time to move past covid. Here is a portion of what the New York Times Editorial Board said in an oped. Rachel new York Post. Pete excuse me, not the New York Times. The new York Post i stand properly corrected. Rachel pigs can fly. Pete thank you. When that happens, then were good. Covid will still take lives but simply not a major threat to people with immunity whether natural or from a vaccine. Despite the new alarms from the centers for Disease Control and prevention about the delta variants dangers and Media Hype amplifying them, the Bottom Line remains only a tiny fraction of those who have been vacsed and hospitalized so get vaxed. Hearing break through cases, people vaccinated are getting covid. If you hear actual hospitalizations even lower at actual deaths it is minuscule, minuscule amount. Technocrats, bureaucrats are telling us we need to lock down again. The new York Post is saying, not happening. Rachel theyre having us focus on cases which is really not a good way to measure all of this. You have to talk about as pete said, hospitalizations and deaths. That is really not a reason for us to be alarmed. Dan bongino Last Night talking about why are they doing this, why are the Health Care bureaucrats doing this . Why are Democrat Politicians pushing this . One might be what we talked about, right . A reason to extend Eviction Moratoriums. Pete unemployment. Keep the money flowing from government. Get people more dependent on government. Dan bonginO Says theyre using fear because theyre afraid of what is coming in 2022. Take a listen. We had Joe Biden just back in may tell us, we think we got this thing under control. You can take the masks off go back to living your life. You wonder why they flipped the Light Switch went back to a 24 fear agenda. I tell you what my sources are telling me. Theyre telling me the democrats think they will get routed in the 2022 election. This serve as couple purposes for them. Gets them to throw a Monkey Wrench into any voter reforms. They can blame Inflation And Everything else on the pandemic. Pete taking away your check. Lawrence suching a interesting theory, what we see right now happening especially on the federal level and the State Level theyre saying that they want to have these covid measures be permanent, be permanent. The american people rejecting it. When you have the Washington Post giving you four pinocchios. One way theyre able to implement it, experiencing covid all over again. Were shut down all over again. They still get what they want. Such a good point. Pete right before a lot of extensions are set to expire, whether moratoriums on evictions, unemployment coming in september. A lot of businesses hoping once those extensions on unemployment go away we get workers back or voting. Look at texas, a lot of things rolling back were added because of covid. 2022 right around the corner. Lawrence the midterms. Pete something to think about. Well have dr. Marty makary up on this show at 8 45 eastern time. Nobody better on topic. Rachel nobody has been more right than dr. Marty makary. Well turn to your headlines right now. We start with a Fox News alert. At least 10 people are shot overnight in a new york laundromat. There is an extensive Crime Scene in queens, the gunman came up on a moped before pulling a weapon on a crowd. They are looking at possibility of more than one suspect. The suspects are eight men and two women. It is not clear how serious they were hurt. We expect to reveal new information on this morning. Hundreds gathering in miami to call for freedom in cuba, nicaragua, and venezuela. Activists demanding that the biden administration take action and save the country froze the oppressive regimes after President Biden announced new sanctions on cuba and met with cubanamerican leaders at the white house. Congresswoman Maria Salazar, the daughter of cuban refugees will talk to us about this coming up. Usama bin ladens hideout was confirmed because their large family hung their clothes outside to dry. In 2010 cia agents tracked down one of the Terrorist Leaders Bodyguards who led them to the compound but without visuals of the compound the clothing lines would flap each day of perfect fit of bin ladens several wives and nine children. Those are the headlines. Pete that will get you. Rachel will get you. Laundry. Pete i love the story so much because of the amount of dedication it took, 10 years we whether going to hunt that guy down. So many people whose names we will never know spent their days slaving away over every little detail to find him. Lawrence i went out like the coward he was. Nothing has made me prouder than seeing the Role Facebook has to play in keeping people connected at a time when we all had to be apart. I know Faith Organizations and Social Media are a natural filth. Fundamentally those are about connections. Our hope one day people will attend services in the virtual Reality Space as well. Rachel here to react Fox News Contributor And Theologian jonathan morris. Jonathan, i dont know about but i dont think i like this Idea Partnering Religion and Big Tech, i just dont trust them. Yeah. I guess that is the big thing is trust. It was funny when this Facebook Executive said Religion And Facebook are really, similar because theyre both about connecting. Whats different of course is religion is not primarily about connecting with Each Other although that might be part of it. Rachel great point. It is about connecting with god and if facebook can connect us with god, that would be breaking News Rand having very, very special. It is the heart, the individual heart that connects with god. Im all in favor, rachel, as i believe you would be of using technology, agnostic technology, meaning that it doesnt have any influence over content. Using technology to spread the gospel, absolutely. Rachel yeah. Except that we know censorship is a big part of who Social Media is, facebook in particular and there is a lot of stuff inside, for example, the bible that could be considered Hate Speech. How do we know that they dont use the new partnership to censor christians or other religions . Yes, especially if money gets involved. Maybe this is very skeptical of me, if money getting involved and there is profit sharing, a church might get Two Dollars every person on line coming through facebook, that is where we have to be careful. Then you get addicted to the money, right . Rachel yes. You start looking for clicks rather than for bringing people into the family and then connecting with god. So you get, if a church gets paid for every click that is, you know, On Facebook, then even, not even if facebook is not censoring what the church is doing, maybe the pastor, the priest, you know what . If im really outrageous this sunday i will get a lot of clicks. Well get a lot of money for the church. A dangerous road but, hey, listen i use facebook live all the time to talk about the upcoming gospel. I think in general if it is agnostic excellent Technology And Use of technology. Rachel you bring up great points. One we didnt talk about, one to keep in mind i think Social Media is intent on keeping us isolated. I think, although youre right, it is connecting with god, in church and mass, there is something about connecting as a faith community. We need a lot less isolation in america, especially after the last year. We get lazy and just, you know what . I will stay home and watch service. Go to mass from home. Rachel i had to get my butt back in church. Fast forward the sermon. Pretaped all of that. You get lazy. Rachel absolutely. Great points. Thanks so much for joining us this morning. Happy sunday. Thank you. Tell Pete Hegseth before leaving the house he should have his lovely wife Jen Review sock choice. Pete what . I do not think jen would approve. Pete oh, my goodness. A new York College student standing up for Free Speech, warning it is quote an endangered right on campuses. In an oped from the moment i stepped On Nyu three years ago ive been taught there is right think and wrong think. Everywhere i look at administrators, peers reaffirm the same beliefs. Im doing my part for peeking out for those who feel silenced and others who feel the same. This is the nyu junior, rikki. So brave of you. I covered College Campuses before i joined the fax family. I know how crazy it can be. Describe the feeling on the College Campus for the viewers . Certainly. There is a certainly idealogical orthodoxy on campuses and the fact is that 63 of College Students report being afraid to speak their minds on all sides of the idealogical spectrum. Unfortunately the reality there is an oppressive palpable fear of saying the wrong thing, offending people, not towing the line politically properly and that is really a pressing intellectual and idealogical autonomy and for young people who are supposed to be coming into our own politically and unfortunately the stifling of free, open, honest, controversial expression and unfettered debate is very palpable on College Campuses right now. Lawrence so true, ricky. One of the things i learned on College Campuses. Not all students come in liberal. Those who are conservative, even libertarian, there is an attempt by professors, administrators to shame those students. Did you experience any of that . Yes, absolutely. I have spoken out and i have certainly been canceled but i come bearing good news because 60 of College Students, 40 are moderates and additional 20 are conservatives. Were not as radical as people think. For as many people who tried to cancel me and to silence my voice, more people have come out in support of me. So that is why i have decided to continue to speak out, to write this oped, put myself out on the line to demonstrate the fact you can try to cancel me. That is only as powerful as i allow it to be. Ultimately i want to empower other young people to stand up, be true, honest with themselves, explore controversial opinions, to reclaim the freedom to stomach before. Were still developing an finding our settles. Ultimately that exploratory experience is what college is supposed to be about. I hope in my modest role im inspiring others to do the same ultimately. Lawrence youre not just brave, youre smart, articulate. You know what you stand for. My job is waiting for you whenever youre ready to take it over. Well, this is not the last you will hear from me. I will continue to stand up for Free Speech and for open, honest, personal and intellectual integrity. That is the most important thing. That is what young people deserve and have the right to in this free society. Lawrence yeah. Thank you so much, rikki. You have a great day. Thank you so much. It is an honor. Lawrence you bet. All morning long on fox Friends Weekend were getting ready for the Kickoff Tunnel to towers never forget walk. Lawrence such an important message. Its a walk to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of September 11th and honors all of our heroes. Rachel heroes like captain trelly, from the arlington fire department. One of the firstresponders to the pentagon on 9 11. Thank you for joining us, captain. Why is it so important to be part of this event . The 20 Year Anniversary is coming up. One of the things we do so well in our country. We remember the fallen. That day, 3,000 plus innocent people were killed and remembering them is probably one of the most important things we can do. Lawrence sorry about that. Captain, can you tell us a little bit about you know, the history of this and remembering seems like people are starting to forget what took place that day . Yeah. You know, it is easy for me to remember because i was there at the pentagon but when you see this new generation of our young people growing up, we need to teach them about this. This is part of their history. I mean their immediate ancestors were involved in this. Some of them even perished. For them to understand the history allows them to move us forward. Pete captain, the Tunnel To Towers theyre doing the never forget walk. Were covering it all morning. It is kicking off where youre at today, when you think of were showing a map right now from washington, d. C. , to shanksville, pennsylvania, to new york city, have we learned the right lessons 20 years later . Are we internalizing them as a nation . I think that over time things get diluted a little bit. That is why it is so important to continue to support organizations like Tunnel To Towers. What theyre doing, trying to make sure the memories of our fallen remain fresh so we can carry on. Basically we can carry the torch. Use their Wisdom And Knowledge to build a better future. Rachel that is interesting. I have young kids in High School. Sometimes theyre not even taught anything on 9 11 about 9 11. It is actually kind of become a little bit controversial. Like people, i think some teachers think it might hurt other students feelings or too violent but there have been excuses for not teaching about 9 11 and what happened and for these kids, many of them, they werent born when that happened so if this Information Isnt taught at school or obviously through their parents they just dont know what happened. Yeah. It is uncomfortable to talk about but that discomfort leads to progress. Rachel right. If we shy away from that well really stop our forward motion. We go out to schools to talk kids all the time. We have to be careful how we talk about it but we still need to talk about it and we need to make sure that the history remains correct. Lawrence you know, captain, so often we refer to the worst parts of the country but on that day the very best of americans from the pentagon to the capitol, to pennsylvania, those people that stopped an attack there, that, you hear the Phone Calls and theyre getting ready to take over the plane, can you talk about that and lives that, of all races different backgrounds, came together, you know what . Were all americans, well fight for our country right now . I saw that that day. Ive seen it since then a lot. And that day, September 11th 2001 everyone came together t wasnt me or you, it was us. We were being evacuated a few times. We thought more planes were coming in. I saw an american Fighter Jet over head. I knew how big this was. It was way bigger than me. It was all of us pulling together. I saw that all day long. Pete captain, thank you for everything you did that day. Everything you have done since. Sounds like a heck of a festive environment. It should be. You Cant Quiet a Fire Station you want to. Guys will do whatever they want. You know that. Captain, thank you well follow the tunnel for towers never forget walk all morning. Thank you. We appreciate it. You got it. Pete turning to a few additional headlines, Tiktok Star Shot in a California Movie Theater has died. Where are the massive protests asking people to do this . Rachel at this point it is really insecure people leading these organizations who are just sort of preemptively i think just so worried about being called racist. So worried lawrence progressives. Were tracking major heat across portions of the country. Well dive in with the temperature map. Seeing very early 70s, 80s across The Deep South. Well once again see heat watches around warnings from dallas, stretching across The Deep South, getting into the carolinas. Maybe lifting a little bit from what you saw yesterday. A lot of areas up into triple digits. That is the feels like temperature, that heavy, soupy air. Feels like youre walking through syrup. That is in the south today. It breaks by monday. West, heavy showers and flood watches and warnings as Heavy Rain continues in that area. That is the weather headlines. For now back to you. Rachel well meet you outside in that beautiful weather here. Pete walking through syrup. Used the food analogy. He looks good. Caught him in the hallway doing his hair. Rachel always looks sharp. Lawrence pete appreciates good hair. Rachel he does. Pete back in june we spoke to one rhode Island Mom looking to enroll her daughter in kindergarten. When she asked the school if it is curriculum if the lessons included Gender Theory or racism. The committee almost sued to stop her. Two months later that mom says it will cost her 74,000 if she wants to get the answers she is looking for about the school she wants to enroll her kid in. Nick sole solis joins us now, with her lawyer, director of national litigation at the goldwater institute, john rich. Thanks for being here. Nicole, thanks for coming back, updating us on the story. The premise is quite simple. You want to know what theories and curriculum are being taught to your child. The school is saying not only cant you, you have to fight us for it, now it will cost you. Exactly. At any point the school can just decide to be transparent. They can send out an email to the whole community saying this is exactly what were doing with critical Race Theory and Gender Theory, this is how we integrate the values in the classroom. Theyre capable of doing the right thing at any point. Theyre constraining to a formal legal process. Theyre telling me i have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to get these answers. It really raises the important question of, is public information really public when it costs 75,000 to get access . Pete john, help me here, if its a public school, were paying for it, we should have access to what is being taught yet why would a parent have to pay 75,000 . What are you helping with here . You are exactly right. And look, open and transparent Government Shouldnt be a controversial thing. You know the School Board here rather than answer a parents questions about what theyre teaching her child, they are trying to put up roadblocks, instead of being open and transparent. Trying to avoid a parents questions, under the public Records Law the presumption is the information is public. You have to charge only reasonable fees. This is clearly not reasonable. So were going to fired ways to get the records, but frankly it shouldnt be this difficult. Pete nicole, if you have nothing to hide you dont hide it. Is it your position they have something to hide on Gender Theory or critical Race Theory . Yes. Again they can just answer my question. I initially started out the process asking them. I emailed many people in my School District asking what theyre doing, instead of directly answering me, this is the Public Records act. Now i understand is really a way to evade my questions and not answer them in good faith. So it is really disappointing. I understand now why a lot of parents dont engage my School District because it is very expensive to do so. You end up being ignored, bullied and evaded. Pete absolutely. John, real quick, what recourse, what is her next step to get answers . Public Records Laws. You can compel production. Go to the attorney general. You can go to court. Nicole will get this information. She is standing up. She will not be intimidated. The public will learn what this school is teaching. Pete nicole, john, thank you for what youre doing. Bring it back to us when you find out what theyre teaching. We want to continue on the story. God bless you. Thank you. Pete we reached out to a south kingston School District for a statement. Just like they did to rachel they declined to comment. Pete were on Fox Square to celebrate american Family Day. Rachel, lawrence and i are cooking some of our favorite Family Meals when we return. Rachel there you go. Its an important time to save. With priceline, you can get up to 60 off amazing hotels. And when you get a Big Deal. You feel like a Big Deal. Priceline. Every trip is a Big Deal. Lawrence Welcome Back. Today is american Family Day. A day that encourages americans to spend time with their loved ones. Rachel what better way to do that by sitting down together for a family meal. Pete here with some of our favorite Family Meals. She prepared it for us. Chef, nutritionist diane hendrix. I love being here. Pete wonderful to see you again. It is great to be back. Pete great to have you. We told you what some of our favorite meals were. And you recreated them. Yours was . Pete diced, peppers and sausage over the grill. You did it in tinfoil. Grilled pans at bottom. Pete I Dice the onions and peppers. You use seasoning. Pete i used montreal seasoning to win the Fox Friends cooking contest. Rachel why you said of course. That is done. Lawrence i wanted southern food. You did a great job. You have the shrimp and grits right here with the bacon in there. Left a little of the bacon grease. A little. Lawrence gives flavor. Collared greens and sweet Potato Pie in the jar. That at the bottom is so good. What i love its a small portion. You said sweet Potato Pie, i wanted to show how easy to do in jars. Put that lid on it in the freezer and pop it out with a single serving. Pete that is good with the bacon. Lawrence one of the empty jars. Rachel im almost done with mine. My family loves pizza at home. You have this here. Right. Rachel the crust. You can buy it. You can make it. Everyone loves doing it all together. My Family Favorite is actually zucchini. Pete what . Rachel yeah. I discovered it in rome. I recreated it. A birthday, everyone is can we have that. So simple. When you sent it to me, rachel. So simple, basic ingredients. Rachel show how we make it. This is store bought dough. Rachel or go to the favorite Pizza Place or get their dough. My website, diane hendrix. Com, get a recipe for pizza dough. We cut this inour. Well take this. Spread it out. We can grab one. Do, kind of keep pulling, gravity will bring it down. Rachel youre making individual ones . Individual ones. If you go around the edges you feel the gravity pull it down. Rachel you get it to the thinness you want. You do it on the grill, obviously the thinner it is, thicker it will put. Rachel instead of tomato sauce, olive oil infused with garlic. Dice up the garlic. Put it on the bottom. Rachel add mozzarella. Time in with that. Rachel you get the idea. Show you what it looks like. That is the idea. Right here pete this goes on, okay. Show you how simple it is when you grill pizza. This is peaches with a balsamic drizzle. Rachel that is yours. Zucchini, mozzarella. Lawrence can i try that . Pete i will be the judge. Zucchini pizza, whatever it is called. Rachel most vegetables he ever ate. Lawrence that is good, right . Rachel what is the verdict there . All right, were counting down to the start of the Tunnel To Towers pete good because diane made it. Rachel be careful there. There is something dripping off of there. Pete oh, boy. Lawrence welcome to Fox Friends. Youre listening to the quantico marine Corps Band performing grand old flag in arlington, virginia. Americas Morning Show on the weekends. Lawrence jones here for will cain along with rachel campos of duffy, Pete Hegseth. Rachel you still have [laughter] on your suit. Another Joe Biden moment. [laughter] yeah. Yesterday the notes. Sir. Pete were here. Were halfway through the show. Sound off when you see the marine Corps Band, okay . [laughter] well done. And, by the way you do . Runs in her blood. The never forget walk is kicking off with Frank Siller, Thats Part of the Reason Weve got the band there. Franks going to walk over 500 miles to remember what happened on 9 11. The man doesnt stop. Rachel no, he doesnt. Pete so thanks to all those marines out there. Lawrence lets turn to this, a 4yearold is fighting for her life after a shooting outside a Funeral Home in minneapolis as the Murder Rate surges across the country. This is just sad, but its just another dagger. Weve been seeing this all across the country. People are saying when are the leaders in these cities going to step up and hear the community crying out for help . We see the Police Chiefs saying enough is enough, support our officers on the ground. But when are the leaders going to start changing their policies . Rachel thats right. You see the that murders are up across america. You have a 16 rise in murders in major cities. 259 more murders than in 2020. 548 more murders than in 2019. So you see theres a massive problem, and yet we still have this, one, disrespect for Law Enforcement which i think is driving a lot of it, a baseline cultural change that weve seen over the last, i dont know, ten years of gradual and then a lot more over the last Year Disrespect for Law Enforcement. But then these policies. District attorneys who have been put in place by liberal organizations who funded their campaigns that just have a policy of letting criminals, letting criminals out, not prosecuting small crimes. A lot of people who lived in neighborhoods that were once safe say, you know, the walgreens people just go through and rob. Pete lawrence, you asked the right question, when are they going to change these policies. Its the right question, but ultimately, these are all manifestations of changed policies that you just laid out. Rachel yeah. Pete i mean, we we understood how to do communitybased, broken Windows Theory Community policing. Doesnt mean its racist, doesnt mean youre being discriminatory. Means youre looking for criminals and holding criminals accountable for both minor inning fractions like, say, shoplifting in the grand scheme of things a minor offense, but its how out in the open. When some people do it, other people see it and they say, okay, its okay for me. Then you get a cycle of criminality, a cycle of violence, and thats when because of these policy changes citizens start tO Say my city looks entirely different. Lawrence the policy is very clear, laws dont matter anymore. If you steal less than 1,000 in california, you can just go free x. If youre an employee who tries to stop them, you can be sued in a court of law for that. D. A. S have essentially said, look, we dont believe anyone should be behind bars. So the moment we can get people out, thats what were going to do. We dont believe people should be incarcerated. That is the policy of the new democratic party. Rachel and its not just if you live in San Francisco or some of these big cities, you have north carolina you have people saying the malls are basically, theres so much crime that theyre saying young Kids Cant go to the mall without a chaperone. Literally, the security has to escort them out because they Cant Control whats happening there. When i Grew Up, thats where our parents took us for a safe place to hang out. And now theyre saying, kids, youve got to get out of the mall unless you have a chaperone because we just dont trust whats going on. Theres just a general sense of disrespect for law. Pete and its amazing how quickly the left will take something that was grounded in a good change and take it to its logical, terrible conclusion. Take the overcriminallization of drugs that affected the black community in so many ways. Part of criminal justice reform. Its a whole other thing tO Say violent criminals, rapists and Murders Lawrence but you give them an inch. You start with good intentions, and they take a mile. And its so sad because as a libertarian you start off with this pure sense of checking government, putting things back in place, going back to the constitution. But these guys want to wreck the constitution. Thats whats being taught in the classrooms right now. They disagree with our founding, they disagree with america, believe everyone should be deprogrammed and that criminals should have more rights than the victims. When is there going to be victim reform thats what a lot of folks are saying. Rachel and the irony is its the people in the black communities that are saying dont listen to aoc and all these defund police. Bring our cops back. Pete i like that, victim reform. Lawrence it needs to happen. Anyway, turning to the border, the crisis at the border. Rachel thats right. The biden administration is quietly resuming a Trump Era Policy of fastTracking Deportation flights for migrants denied ai sigh lumbar. Pete asylum. Pete our man Griff Jenkins live with more. Reporter you cant overstate just how bad Bidens Border Crisis is particularly in the Rio Grande Valley sector, the rgv, where its slammed every day. In the past 24 hours, ive learned there were 2,851 migrants encountered. Pay attention, the number of deportable detainees in custody in that sector, 9,901 meaning they cannot be expelled because the stations are simply overwhelmed. Add to that, theyre seeing a 900 increase in covidpositive migrant detainees. So the administration is simply reinstating a Trump Era Policy of expedited removal flights for families who do not qualify for title 42 removal. All this as the Border Patrol Vapt president , chris ca cabrera, is trying to sound the alarm. Watch. Were releasing People Day in, day out with actual positive tests for covid, and more just keep popping up. Reporter meanwhile, the crisis is taking a huge toll on ranchers and farmers who live along the southwest border. Listen. Its absolutely awful, and it continues to get worse. They have to stop letting everybody come over here. Theyre not being with tested. Thats scary also. Reporter at least one member of congress has introduced legislation in the house to reimburse ranchers and farmers with covid funds to set up a Farmer Rancher Fund to pay them for their damages, their Property Destruction and crop losses. Rachel, pete, lawrence . Rachel were going to pay the ranchers, why dont we just not let the damage happen by controlling the border . Its just so insane how this government works. Pete griff, thank you very much. It was all going to be seasonal, now its accelerating. Its almost are like we get numb right at the moment. The numbers are higher than weve ever been. Lawrence thats the goal. Pete right. They wear you down. Rachel and No One is covering this, other than this channel. Pete including this story, another story No Ones covering except for this channel is theres a cofounder of a nonprofit that supports cops that has kids with Special Needs. Part of the premise is you go all day long are, youre in the community working with people, saving lives, then you come home to another set of challenge, right in and this organization is called Blue Hearts for heroes. And they posted a picture On Facebook of police on their Facebook Page Rachel and a chaplain. [laughter] pete and a chaplain. Facebook said it went against their Community Standards on spam. The post said please say hello to a host of Blue Hearts for heroes and his Therapy Dog as well. In that post its hard to to see Lawrence Lawrence so they put it back up, rachel, and we reached out, we havent herald. They didnt respond, they just put it back up. Facebook cannot monitor every single post. The only reason why it was censored is because its in the algorithms. Blue lives in general are being de. Monoized. Its being demonized. Its being considered Hate Speech to support the cops. They want to paint all the cops as racist, and the ones that go9 it out there every single day and do their job, which is like 99 of them, is doing being demonize toed, and this group is talking about their kids with Special Needs. Rachel yeah. I mean, this is just like a really, you know, outrageous example. Here was this group trying to help children with Special Needs. There were Blue Hearts. So this organization is getting censored, imagine whats happening all over the country. Imagine whats being suppressed by Big Tech because they are completely a political arm of the dnc. This is matthew silverman, hes the cofounder of Blue Hearts. We had him on earlier in the show, and heres what he thinks is the agenda of Big Tech. I think Law Enforcement has taken a turn for the worse with different Media Sources and the public and other people out there. I think that there are facebook employees that are looking at certain posts, and they see something with Law Enforcement, and right away they block it or they put it in spam because, like you said, Law Enforcement equals bad. I have a feeling that theres a lot of Law Enforcement organizations out there that are dealing with this same exact thing. They never tell us anything. They block the posts, and they put the posts back up when they want to. Pete arbitrary, quiet, silencing and suppression. And as you said, its the right point, if theyre doing it to a group like this, theyre doing it to everybody. Lawrence one last point, and this is why weve got to nip this in the bud, if yall notice, theres a strategy from the police now because all the stories we have been hearing were the negative stories. All these police organizations have started to highlight the good that they do, highlight the good video. And Big Tech knows that, theyre aware of that. And so the tactic now is to suppress the good stories that are out there. This is a recent occurrence because the cops werent doing rachel theyre doing their job, not putting the Attention Lawrence so now theyre going on the offense, and this is what were seeing. Rachel all right. I dont know what we can do to stop Big Tech, but we can certainly talk about it and bring about awareness. Straight ahead, the effort to preserve female sports. Meet the High School sophomores teaming up with a republican senator next. Here we are in arlington, and i wanted to attend because, of course, the tunnels to Towers Organization has been phenomenal in sporting our first supporting our first responders, our heroes and their families x thats exactly why im here today. Here were here to honor those first responders and, of course, everyone else who has been involved in this tremendous effort. If Lawrence Lawrence yeah. Senator, youre not just a senator, but you went out there and fought for your country, and now youre fighting for women. You say an important issue, youve got a bill that youre proposing in the senate to fight for women many sports. Yes. I am working on this effort with Senator Mike Lee and many others in the senate to preserve womens sports. I had the opportunity to meet with a number of women that have had to engage in sports against transgender women, those that were biological males and now are transgender women. And unfortunately, it doesnt create a fair playing ground. So we need to make sure that everyones treated with dig the anity and and Respect Dignity and respect. Women have fought so hard to get onto that playing field. We need to make sure we are protecting their interests. Lawrence senator, i want to bring in one of those young athletes, monty leon, margaret. Shes a Track Runner at st. Anthony school. You know, margaret, i want to bring you in because so often we hear these stories. How has it impacted you . Thank you for having me. Ive personally found that when i had to race against a transgender athlete, my teammates were super discouraged and disheartened, and i could see the impacts on everyone around me. They didnt want to continue to do track. They were disappointed that this is happening, and im using this position to be able to speak up for other athletes that may be going through this. Lawrence lawrence, ive got to margaret, ive got to ask you, do you feel heard . This is happening. This has happened to me, to my mom, to other people i know, and im just really honored to be able to speak up on your network. Lawrence senator, i want to go back to you. Do you feel like this bill is going to get bipartisan support . I mean, its simple science, right . Yes, we we absolutely have to have bipartisan support this is a womans issue. Certainly, Title Ix is very important. These athletes fought long and hard to be able to have their own sports. But now those sports are being taken over and dominated by those transgender women. They are, of course, larger, stronger, faster, and margaret is the perfect example of this. In her first race ever, her only race before covid19 hit, she was beat by a transgender woman in her Track And Field event so very unfortunate circumstance. This needs to be a bipartisan issue, and we do the hope that some of the democratic women will understand that Title Ix and protecting the integrity of womens sports is very, very important. Lawrence thanks, senator. Margaret, thanks for being so brave and coming on the show. Thank you for having me. Lawrence you bet. The growing northern California Fire has now burned more than 244,000 acres with only 30 containment. It heads towards the town of paradise where 85 people were in the 2018 camp fire. Also the university of southern mississippi is offering vaccinated students a chance to win a free semesters tuition. The incentive to get the shot is also worth thousands in housing credits and dining dollars. Students must mitt their vaccination submit their vaccination records to be eligible. Interesting. All right. Well, those are your headlines. Pete . Pete thank you, rachel. Well, a new farleftwinging progressive Police Reform Law just took effect last week in washington state, and its already having adverse effects as police departments grapple with new standards for use of force p. Our next guest ises from Pierce County Sheriffs Office where they called off the search for a possible killer because of the new law are. Sergeant Darren Moss Jr. Joins me now. Sergeant, thanks for being here. So there was a shooting, officers a arrived odd arrived on the scene with a k9 but were not allowed to pursue a suspect seen leaving the scene. Why . So the thing with the new law, it doesnt necessarily mandate that they couldnt chase, but that the officer felt he didnt have enough probable cause to use force in this situation. So instead of searching with the k9, he decided to just search without him because he was scared that if he was to accidentally or to bite the suspect without probable cause, he would be in violation of the law. Pete so its now the police that have of to be afraid of something being used against them as opposed to aggressively finding a potential murder suspect. How much uncertainty is there in the uniform right now about what police can and cant do . So thing bigger changes in some of these laws was they moved from us being able to use reasonable suspicion to pursue vehicles or to use force in a situation where we found someone we suspected of a crime to probable cause which just requires a little bit more evidence which is what we use to make an arrest but not to detain someone. So in these situations, the officers are somewhat unclear on whether theyre going to be okay to use force. So in those instances where theyre not sure, we advise them to just take the conservative approach and not use force if they can avoid it. Pete so conservative approach means not pursuing or not using not escalating force as necessary even if the situation is dangerous. How much, how much training have you and other officers in these departments been given . This is a brand new law. How much are officers aware of what they can and cant do . Yeah. So we have the laws themselves as well. But the training that weve gone through has been within the agencies only so far, and each agency approaches these new laws with a deferent aspect, different policies. Our agency has had a little bit of training prior to the law going into effect, starting next week we have a little bit more training that were rolling out as well. The State Academy did not have any training available for the agencies until about the week of the changes going into effect. So a lot of people are scrambling to get their policies in check and make sure the officers have a little bit of training, but were still learning, still trying to figure out what exactly some of the things mean that havent been defined in the law that were trying to work. Pete just making it more difficult for you and your fellow officers to actually do your job. And more dangerous, frankly, with suspects knowing they can get away things. Sergeant Darren Moss Jr. , or thank you so much. Sorry about what youre dealing with out there. Thank you. Pete you got i. We had to work on customer service, hi, sir, welcome to our Lemonade Stand. Kenzie was the ceo. We had a Vice President in the Mix Rachel you brought us some lemonade if, i just love the Lemonade Stand because with it is every childs first step into capitalism, into understanding that you can make something and make money. Adam good day for lemonade, especially in the weather world. Beautiful out here on Fox Square, but there are parts of the country where it is going to be really warm once again, and thats down across portions of the southeast. But youre seeing temperatures currently in the 70s and 80s, but that is just the beginning of how warm its ultimately going to get. Weve got heat watches and warnings from eastern texas stretching across The Deep South and getting into the carolinas. Ultimately, youre going to get feelslike temperatures once again up into triple digits, so it is going to be a hot one. Maybe a good day to go buy lemonade from the hegseth kids. [laughter] pete see if theyre back out today. We ran out of product. Rachel more inventory. Pete more squeezing. Thank you. Lawrence so, guys, weve been talking about this new progressive view of education. Well, turning to this, this is schools, right . Teachers and social justice activists kicking off their annual educators for antiracism with high praise for critical Race Theory. Theres power in recognizing that racism and white supremacy as a function of, racism as a function of white supremacy is normalized in everyday american life are. To really not decrease the focus on race, but to increase a focus on race because we realize as educators that this is exactly what we should be doing. Rachel civil Rights Veteran and Woodson Center Founder Bob Woodson is here to react. So, first of all, obama and others are saying Crt Isnt happening in the schools. Here we have educators on zoom, you know, talking about it, educating Each Other on how to promote it. Its this idea that we should emphasize race more, not less. What is that doing to our kids but also to our society, . S it is really destructive. In fact, i prefer the oldfashioned racism. This new racism is more insidious and more selfdestructive than the old racism. The old racism was external. This is really internal. They dont explain why black men, only 6 of the population but 80 of the nfl and nba. So when theres positive disparities, is this because white people permit blacks to perform in and yet when we come to the english and math classes, were behind. Does this mean that white people have to give us permission or in other words, it is important that selfdetermination is what blacks could achieve in the past. Under segregation, we achieves more education we achieved more education then than we are in this progressive era. Pete wow. By the way, youre retiring after many years in this space, and you look at your entirety of your career, and you see this new antiracism which is an emphasis on more Racism Rachel talked about. Youve been committed to speaking truth, youre passing it to the next generation. How do we turn this around . The way we to that is arm those that are going to suffer most with it. Low income black americans, 80 of blacks surveyed do not support defund the police. 60 of blacks surveyed do not believe racial discrimination is a barrier to a successful future. What we are doing at the Woodson Center is giving these people who are suffering the consequence of this racial assault, give them the opportunity to speak for themselves. And thats the way you undermine the moral authority of those who purport to be operating in the interest of blacks. Let the people suffering the problems speak for themselves and demonstrate that selfdetermination is what propelled us in the past. And it will in the future. But the key is not to engage in debate by scholars speaking to scholar, but let the people speak for themselves. Voices of black mothers united, 2,500 moms who lost their children to urban violence. They are supporting the police. Piney wood school, 115yearold black Boarding School where 96 of the kids from very troubled Families Graduate and go on to college. These are centers of excellence that achieve in the presence of discrimination and barriers. If we were able to accomplish these things under conditions that were far worse than they are now, then we certainly ought to be able to do more. But this national Education Association is using race as a dodge so they dont have to explain why 40 of our nations kids are performing under, underperforming in our public schools. Rachel right. Its a dodge. Its a deflection. Lawrence its such a good point, bob, because their loyalty is to the teachers unions because we know what works for black america, all kids, actually, School Choice. But they dont support that because its in contrast with their ideology. Thats such a great point, bob. Thank you so much for your service. Youve been a civil Rights Leader for the majority your life, and you have done your job, so get some rest, brother, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Rachel you inspire us. Thank you. Pete hes retiring, but the work of the Woodson Center will continue. Rachel it will continue. Lawrence thats a real leader. He leaves a mold to take the vision forward. Great job, bob. Were getting ready for the start of the Tunnel To Towers never forget walk to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of 9 11 and honor all of our heroes. Rachel joining us now from the Starting Point in arlington, virginia, is Frank Siller, Chairman And Ceo of the Tunnel To Towers foundation. Pete and with him retired u. S. Marine Corps Sergeant Rob jones, a Tunnel To Towers smart home recipient, and jen taylor, widow of major Brent Taylor in a tunnel to Towers Gold Star home recipient. Frank, youve got some great support on your right and your left. Youre moments from stepping away. Talk to us about what this is all about. Its all about never forgetting. You know, we have over 400 first responders or that are going to be walking with me for the first leg of the walk to remember all those to who died that day, over 400 first responders. Eleven of them are on my back. These are guys that died from my Brothers Firehouse in squad one. These are the guys we have to remember. They ran into that building and gave their lives up. And then the 7,059 service members that died ever since protecting our country. Lawrence jenny, i feel like i know you, i see your commercials all the time. What does this moment mean to you . It means everything to be a part of this, and like frank said, to never forget, to honor those that have fallen whether that day on 9 11 or in the wars next. Celebrate their Life And Show that were going to do something. Were going to make sure america remembers x were going to make the world a better place with what we have been through, and people like Frank Siller make that possible for all of us in the Tunnel To Towers program. Pete and, rob, you know, youve got a smart home that changed your life. You know, how has Tunnel To Towers affected you . Yeah. The smart home that Tunnel To Towers gave to me and my wife, its really helped us. Its facilitated me being able to have a Home Base that i can use to just change whatever i want to do, all my Life Goals, and theyve also made it possible for my wife to have, to change her Life Goal of being an organic vegetable farmer. Its really helped to make our lives meaningful and allowed us to do what we want to do. They had a little son born in that house. Rachel awesome. He didnt bring me any fresh organic vegetables. [laughter] rachel next time, next time. Listen, weve been talking all morning, frank, about how this is our favorite charity, one of our favorite charities. You do such a great job managing it, people have so much Faith And Confidence in the way its managed, and thats because of you and your commitment to that in your Brothers Memory and the patriotism that still lives on because of all the good stuff that came out of this tragedy of 9 11. So thank you, frank, we really appreciate you joining us. Thank you. Rachel yes. Thank you, jenny, thank you, rob. Enjoy your walk here. Pete were going to stay with you. God bless. [applause] Rachel Look at that. All right. Well, coming up, as liberal cities push renewed mandates, theres little consideration for those who have natural immunity to covid. Dr. Marty makary says its now a pandemic of the nonimmune and joins us live next. So whats going on . [dog] im a talking dog. The other issue. [dog] oh. Im scratching like crazy. Youve got some allergic itch with skin inflammation. Apoquel can work on that itch in as little as 4 hours, whether its a new or chronic problem. And apoquels treated over 9 Million dogs. [dog] nice. And. The talking Dog Thing . Is it bothering you . No. Itching like a dog is bothering me. Until dogs can speak for themselves, you have to. When allergic itch is a problem, ask for apoquel. Apoquel is for the control of itch associated with allergic dermatitis and the control of Atopic Dermatitis in dogs. Do not use apoquel in dogs less than 12 months old or those with serious infections. Apoquel may increase the chances of developing serious infections and May Cause existing parasitic Skin Infestations or preexisting cancers to worsen. New neoplasias were observed in clinical studies and postapproval. Most common Side Effects are vomiting and diarrhea. Feeling better . [dog] im speechless. [dog] thanks for the apoquel. Thats what friends are for. Ask your veterinarian for apoquel. Next to you, apoquel is a dogs best friend. Rachel Welcome Back to Fox Friends. The cdc is releasing new data they say supports the decision to Mask Up again claiming both vaccinated and unvaccinated people carry the same levels of the virus. But our next guest argues the experts lose credibility by making no mention of natural immunity. Fox news medical Contributor Dr. Marty makary is here to explain. Thank you for joining us, doctor. Ive had this question all along, and i just wonder, you know, why has there been this deliberate effort to, you know, not talk about natural immunities . You know, they always mention the vaccinated, but they never add those who have already had to covid which we know are millions of americans. Good morning, rachel. Well, its amazing, out of hundreds of speeches and hundreds of hours of interviews, the complete absence of any mention of natural immunity disenfranchised a large portion by the way, its a third to a half of the unvaccinated, and the administration and public health officials dug into a position early on that it doesnt work and that if it does work, its going to quickly fade. Here we are a year and a half into it, its durable, its efficacious, and its going strong, and a study out of israel just found its 6. 7 times more effective than Advantage City E nailed immunity. When you talk to people who dont necessarily are to get vaccinated, when you tell them that they do, you lose credibility with those who really do need to get vaccinated which are the nonimmune. Rachel absolutely. Thats what you say, this is a virus of the nonimmune. Explain to me why do you think theyre doing it . Because you talk about this loss of credibility. All of us, were smart people, weve been following this for a year, were listening to as much information as we can get. Its obvious we have known about natural immunity long before covid, so what would be their motivation . Why would they do that . Well, some say pharma has driven the narrative. I actually think its more of an old school medical thinking. You know, in the spirit of the importance of diversity, part of that is age diversity. And when youve got a bunch of old guard medical establishment making all the decisions, youve got people like dr. Fauci whO Say we havent seen the randomized Control Trial on natural immunity. You cant do it, and if you could, itd be unethical to do it. Open your eyes, look at the observational data. Where are the cases of people with severe Covid Illness after prior infection. They dont exist. And if they do, theyre infinitesimally small, they have asymptomatic or very mild cases at this point. Weve got to hearn from that data. Rachel really quick, how much longer does natural immunity does it last as long as vaccine, have we learned anything about how long those naturallal immunities last . We are seeing Thing Advantage Advantage vaccinated immunity wane, but natural immunity, if we look at the other coronaviruses, stars and mers, its going strong sars and mers we think its lifelong immunity. Rachel i always felt good when i got covid early on and survived it well, i thought that was a little bit of a blessing. And youre getting antibodies to the entire surface of the virus, not just the Spike Protein with natural immunity. Thanks so much for your information. Youre always a truthteller during the pandemic. We really appreciate it, doctor. Thanks. Rachel coming up, a teacher is trading lesson plans for road maps and getting behind the wheel of a big rig. Pete Americas Trucking industry up against a severe driver short averages so one high School Teacher is getting behind the wheel and and working overtime this summer. Rachel dave leads one of the countrys first truck driving programs, so hes hitting the road himself and donating all of his earnings to a Scholarship Fund for his students. Lawrence dave joins us now from patterson High School in california. Dave, thank so thanks so much fr joining the program. I love story. My father is a truck driver, and this is important more young people to get involved especially with such a shortage. What made you come up with this idea . Hey, good morning. Thanks for having me. So im an instructor at patterson High School, and before the end of the school year, i came across a story that talked about the Driver Shortage and how its specifically impacting the californiaing agricultural harvest. And many of the companies were struggling, some companies were down 30 of their normal drivers. And so i made an off the conservative statement to my students and i said is, you know what . I shoulding go back and drive this summer to be a part of the solution. And the more i thought about it, the more it made sense. So i made a company to a call to a company called morningstar trucking, and im very familiar with them because i actually drove for them back in the 90s to pay my way through college. So i made a call to them, i said this is what id like to do, but im going to be donating my salary to the next Generation Trucking Foundation which is a nonprofit im a part of. And they said, hey, wed love to help out, well match whatever you make. Rachel thats so great. By the way, how the kids, youre teaching them or introducing them to the idea of becoming truckers. How are they, you know, responding to that . By the way, i hear trucking pays really well these days. It does, i tell you. We do have a Driver Shortage, and we saw this coming, ive heard about it for at least the last ten years. The latest number i heard is that were short about 63,000 drivers. That number is expected to balloon because we have an aging work force. And over the next 57 years, were looking at losing 25 of our current driverses. Rachel wow. Pete so Driver Shortage means the people that want to drive are going to get paid more. Exactly. And whats happening is that we have no solution. So companies are stealing drivers from Each Other. How do steal a driver . You offer them more money. So we do have quite a few companies who are increasing sailly salaries. Lawrence economics. Pete not only are you teaching people a Skill Thatll improve their lives, but with youre leading from the front which anyone admires. Dave dine, thank you so much. Cofound per of next gen. Appreciate it. Thank you. Take care. Pete weve got a big fourth hour ahead. Congresswoman Maria Salazar, the one and only Bill Bennett and Maria Bartiromo. In minnesota you have to pass the perkins [laughter] to see a huge american flag out front. Thats a beautiful shot, is and we welcome you in. Its 8 00 a. M. Central time in austin, 9 00 here on the island of manhattan, and were here for the fourth hour of fox Friends Weekend. Rachel campos duffy, lawrence jones in for will Lawrence Thanks for having me. Ive had a great time. You know what in lets see if the producers can find a shot to prove it pete texas is always bigger. I get it. [laughter] most of the time, and i love texas lawrence its true. Pete but the rest of us lawrence do you know the rotunda is bigger then the u. S. Capitol thats what we do. Rachel this is why will said if im going to be out for the weekend, i only want a texan in this seat. And you know what . Im not a the texan, but i love the way texas loves texas. You guys think youre your own country. Lawrence we were. [laughter] Florida President Carolful pete careful, could be that again. Its true. Its great to have you. Lawrence thanks, guys. Pete the clock runs out on the national Eviction Moratorium sending shock waves through progressive democrats in washington d. C. Lawrence thats right. Congresswoman corey bush, ill hand to omar, ayaaning that presley camped out in protest. Rachel Griff Jenkins joins us live where protesters are still calling on congress to reconvene. Griff, are there people still camped out and sleeping there . Reporter they are, indeed, rachel, pete, lawrence, good morning. The fight against the end of the national moratorium continues you can see here on the Capitol Steps. Youve got half a dozen or so activists here that are keeping the seats warm, if you will. But with Congresswoman Corey bushes who is the Lead Member of the socalled progressive squad that is fighting to extend that mother tore number, they want congress to come back. These folks have been here all night. They were sitting through storms and trying to make sure that someone is here at all times as they continue to fight to reconvene the house, to get em back to take a vote on whether or not the Eviction Moratorium should be extenned. You can see up there theres dunkin donutss, coffee and other things that members of congress have apparently dropped by to these supporters, and we understand that Congresswoman Bush will be back here later today. Meanwhile, yesterday on the steps out here she took to the steps the give her message of why shes doing this. Listen. I keep hearing, oh, the Gun Violence is. Oh, covid19. Oh, wear masks. Oh, well, vaccinate 3. You know what . Oh, keep people in their homes, that should not be negotiated. Reporter now, she also betweened, guys, at tweeted, guys at 2 a. M. When she was out here saying it is an eviction emergency. These folks were actually out here at 2 a. M. , at that time. The squad members are also sending a letter to President Biden demanding he extend the moratorium. The problem is the administration said they cannot do so because the Supreme Court last month ruled that the cdc had exceeded its authority in the ban in the first place. Meanwhile, out west in San Francisco protesters taking to Speaker Pelosis Mansion demanding she come back at once. Listen. We call upon you to immediately call congress to session to move to extend the Eviction Moratorium and keep people in their homes. Were in the midst of the second worst covid surge to date, and this is not the time to allow evictions to begin. Reporter now, this is far from over. As i mentioned, Congresswoman Bush expected to come back here, and congresswoman alexandria ocasiocortez, i am told, is organizing a bus of constituents in new york to come down here and join these folks. They will stay here until the house decides to come back from its pro forma session and take a vote on this issue. So it looks like no slowing down. Meanwhile, these folks unable to talk to us on camera, their jobs, some of them work on the hill, theyre not allowed to go on camera. Are you guys doing okay . Thumbs up, thumbs down . There you go. Thumbs up all around, theyre not going anywhere. Pete, lawrence are, rachel . Lawrence what a showing. [laughter] pete griff, youve covered reporter you have seven right now, but the point, they say, is to make sure at least one person is here staying vigil at all times. Theyve been here, by the way, since thursday. Pete if they stay long enough, is there a chance they might have to pay rent . Because with, i dont know, it seems [laughter] reporter its the peoples house. They can stay here as long as they want rentfree. Pete rentfree. Rachel and aoc is busing a bunch of other activists from, you know, from new york to come out and assist. But she didnt stay there. Shes, i guess, at her condo . Lawrence probably. Reporter we dont know. Unclear exactly where she is. Also unclear whether or not speaker pelosi, when we showed that protest, whether or not she was even home or engaged the activists out there because she wasnt seen. Pete griff, youre a pro, always in the field for us. Leapt us know let are us know in the number rises to a mighty nine. Rachel and, by the way, senator Elizabeth Warren dropped by at one point. Pete what what this is is socialist democrats wanting temporary covid payments forever. We see it with unemployment benefits, we vixxs, the idea that the landlord never has to get paid ever. Listen, it was the Trump Administration that put in these temporary restrictions on having to meet your Rent Obligation because they recognized the government was shutting people down, and there were temporary supplemental unemployment. Now here we are a year and a half later, and the democrats, the socialists are out there all night saying the free moneys got to keep going. Turns out there are millions of jobs available for people if they want to take them. Rachel right. Every day we have on fox Friends Business Owners Clamoring for people to come to work. And so you just wonder whats happening here. Pete, you spoke with lawrence hammer, hes a new York Landlord clarence hammer. Lawrence hes impacted by this. Rachel and hes just one landlord. This is happening across the country. Take a listen. Im owed 65,000. My Tenant Hasnt paid since august of 2019. We cant take him to court. We still have provide maintenance; hot water, gas, maintenance, all of that. And its coming right out of my pocket. I think The Systems designed to have the small, independent landlord to give up, but at this point, i mean, so many people are, so many small landlords are behind, in arr that it just doesnt make sense. Theyve got to sell out to a private investor that offers them cash without any type of contingencies or conditions. Lawrence so the big business, the big real estate investors survive this. The little man rachel the little guy. Lawrence exactly. This was by design. I and i know a lot of folks dont like the landlords, but this is criminal. This is not fair. The government said this could take place and not a pay the mortgage. These people are pete if you want to rent, youre going to have a landlord in some capacity. The small landlords have not received income for over a year, they have to pay mortgage, pay the bills, maintain maintenance. The landlord we talked to, clarence hamer, says he has a tenant who he knows is subletting. Hes getting paid, but hes not paying his landlord. And hes getting unemployment at the same time. Lawrence criminal. Pete paying people not to work and pay their bills. Rachel exactly. This is what the socialists and communists want in this country. They want to have everyone dependent on government. This increases their power because if you are dependent on the government, you are dependent on a a oc and the squad, and everyone else doling out the money that the they redistribute from the rest of us. This is an absolute deliberate Plan P as you said, to use covid, to use this pandemic to advance socialism and destroy the american work ethic. By the way, has been lawrence you never let a crisis go to waste, and Bill Benefit is fired up about it. Hes going to be coming up at 9 30 a. M. Eastern time. Pete one of those topics you want the hear from a smart man like Bill Bennett. Weve been talking about covid, thousands turned out in france for the third weekend to combat Vaccine Pass posts. Passports. Ultimately, not leading to mass hospitalizations, this is some of the footage from paris, france, where theyre not taking it anymore, but our leaders here are starting the lockdowns, starting the mandates and potentially even Vaccine Passports. The new York Post has an editorial saying ignore the hysteria, its time to move past covid, america. They make the case that if you look at the data, and weve had these conversations today, ultimately this used to be about number of cases. Why are we looking at cases anymore . Immunity, whether through a vaccine or natural, has created an environment where you might get covid, but our not having hospitalized at high rates at all, and deaths are extremely low. So ultimately, if you have that immunity, youre good. Lawrence well, that was the original conversation. They said, look, weve got to shut down the country because the hospitals are too full, we dont have enough ventilators. That is not the case right now, so why are we even having these conversations about it . Weve put up map after map. Show us the red of the folks that in the states where they dont have any beds, they dont have its just not as dangerous as it was before because we do have a vaccine, we have people that have already had covid in the past rachel right. Lawrence and they have some immunity. Rachel and its not just the government. We see corporate america jumping onboard. Here in new york theyre saying you cant go to the theater unless you show you had a vaccine. Walmart, home tebow, other companies are saying Home Depot saying you Cant Work with us unless you show you have a vaccine. But missing from all of this is people who have natural immunity. I spoke earlier with dr. Marty Makary Whos just been such a truthteller and such a voice of reason throughout this pandemic, and he says that by deliberately not including those who have natural immunity which, by the way, he says, natural immunity can last longer than the vaccine themselves he says that the government officials, the Government Health bureaucrats and everyone whos putting all these mandates on all the rest of us are losing credibility. Take a listen. Its amazing, out of hundreds of speeches and hundreds of hours of interviews the complete absence of any mention of natural immunity disenfranchising a large portion of the unvaccinated. By the way, its about a third to half of the unvaccinated. And the administration and public health officials dug into a position early on that it doesnt work and that if it does work, its going to quickly fade. Well, here we are a year and a half into it, its durable, its efficacious, and its going strong. And you tell people who dont necessarily have to get vaccinated that they do, you lose credibility with those who really do need to get vaccinated which are the nonimmune. Pete but you maintain your control, which might be what its all about. Theres always rachel there could be profit motives involved. Pete speaking of profit, the nfl makes a lot of profit. So does major league baseball. The cleveland indians are now the cleveland guardians. They got rid of their mascot a couple years ago, right . Here we go again. The Kansas City Chiefs say they are retiring their Horse Mascot called warpaint, putting it out to pasture because they say lets see what the statement is. We feel like its time to retire warpaint. A lot of reasons for that, but we feel its the right thing to do. Warpaint wont about be running at a arrowhead anymore, so no warpaint where the chiefs may feels like a preview, guy, of the fact that the chiefs could cave. Lawrence its awe annoying, guys. No one can point out the protests, and you know, the data continues to bug me about the nfl. Theyre so woke. They were just sued months ago A Billion Dollars because of the lawsuit when players were complaining about concussions, they told the black players the reason why the concussions are happening is because youre mentally not superior. So they had to settle 1 Billion because the Brain Injury apparently is because we already have some defects. This is the woke nfl changing names, going back to my original point, all of this is virtue signaling. When push comes to shove about stuff really concerning about sports, they say nothing. Rachel that was really cool. Pete they see it as honoring and, you know, so if you have chief gear, hang on to it, get it rile you can Rachel Look at that, looks fun. Pete its cultural. This is why people are turning off the nfl, because theyre not make it about the game. Lauren lawrence i love my cowboys, but i get it. Rachel not a lot of native americans seem too concerned with this either. Well, coming up, Cubanamericans Rally for support as many plead for freedom. Hundreds of protesters taking to The Streets of miami demanding freedom in cuba, Nicaragua And Venezuela are, urging the biden administration to step in and save those countries from their repressive regimes. Announcing new sanctions on cuba, florida gop Congresswoman Maria Salazar is the daughter of cuban refugees and joins us now. Thank you so much for joining us today. It doesnt seem like the biden administration is hearing the people. Theyre very upset with the administration, theyre upset with black Lives Matter because youve got the afrocubans saying, look, we thought this was about freedom. We thought the movement was freedom for everybody, but it doesnt seem like the administration and the movement is hearing. And i agree with you, and im so happy that youre telling me about black Lives Matter. I have reached out to my colleagues on the democratic side across the aisle, across the aisle on the united states floor, united states of representatives floor, and i have said to the black caucus, help me. Help me because just like you have a George Floyd and that should have never happened a, we have a jorge flores on The Streets of havana, the afrocuban that we need to defend from aggression from the police. Its the same thing. And im asking them, please, send the message to the biden administration, because the same rights that we have the africanamericans in this country have, the same rights that the afrocubans have on The Streets of havana being beaten by the repressive Repeople Regif Fidel castro. This community, the cubanamerican community, that we have lived here for more than 60 years. Were only asking our friends, democrats and republicans, the biden administration, we dont have a problem with political parties. Its a matter of humanity. The its a matter of race. Its the matter of freedom for everyone across the board. Were just not hearing. And what im hearing is that we i want to explain to you why. Were basically asking for two things from the white house, connectivity to internet and leadership. Connectivity. Why connectivity . Because the cubans need to feel that they are accompanied by the cubanamericans, by the americans, by the africanamericans, by everyone that lives in this country. If they know whatever they do in The Streets of havana will be seen, will be heard by the world. How do you to do that . Through facebook. That is how it started. July 11th there was a facebook live somewhere on the island, and it spread like wild fire because people knew about it. They were connecting among themselves. What did the castro regime do . It just turned it off. Yesterday you were talking about that demonstration where i was at, that it was in the heart of my district, the city of miami. I was there. Do you know what the castro regime did . They cut it off. They cut off internet yesterday, 12 hours ago, because they do not want their cubans on The Streets of havana to replicate what were doing on The Streets of miami. Where is biden . Lawrence where is biden, wheres the movement. Theyre using the rallying cry that was here at home. But the problem is theres a conflict with the ideology that is here now cans which is the marxism, the socialism, and its sad, congresswoman. Thank you so much for being so outspoken on this issue. Thank you. And theres this message for the cuban democrats and for my africanamerican democrats lawrence yep. We need your help. We need for you to help us defend the afrocubans. Lawrence so true, congresswoman. Aye got to go thank you. Lawrence thank you so much. My pleasure. Lawrence more fox and friends coming up. Who can come to a stop with barely a bobble. Lucia. Thenpresident Elect Trump shaking hands with former President Obama in a show of unity just days after the 2016 election. Now one podcaster is trying the make it happen again. Value Team And Founder is offering 5 Million to former President Trump and obama if they come on his platform for a Sitdown Interview to bring america together again. That podcast host, patrick, joins me now. All right, patrick, thanks for joining us today. Its an amazing idea it. Certainly are would be mustsee tv. You say that No One can bring the country together better than President Obama and former President Trump. I dont know. I mean, whats your thinking behind this . This doesnt sound like a Unity Play to me. Well, listen, if my participants when they went through a divorce, if theres one thing i saw from both sides is the politics being played from Moms Family and dads family, can be they got two divorces in 20 years. Im glad they remarried after the first one, because thats how i was born. But if you can bring people in the room, ive run businesses for many years, anytime i bring people in the room, these are people who cannot stand Each Other, people that disagree, the longer we wait to put them in a room together, the problem gets bigger and bigger and bigger. I feel its the right time to bring two of the most influential people along opposing party lines and have is a rachel i think you make a good point, actually. Now, you said the its 5 Million, 2. 5 for each of them. I can kind of see trump going along with it, not for the money, but i think hes just that kind of guy. Not sure i can see obama going along with it. What other ground rules would there be to this, you know, engagement here in. So the format would be its three hours, its a longform podcast, its not the Debate Format where, hey, you have two minutes and be interrupted which makes it choppy and uncomfortable. We saw a lot of people complaining, candidates, in the last election because Folks Couldnt can hear real answers, and the voters want to hear more indepth answers. It would be first hour i would being asking questions, second hour would be whatever the audience has questions to go through, and then the last hour is just them talking to Each Other, and we get a chance to see them ask Each Other questions, whatever those questions may be. Rachel well, the place where you posted this has gained 200,000 more followers. I know i would watch this if it happened. Listen, i want to talk to you about something else. What i like about you and what youre trying to do, and i dont know if it would work, is i can sense your sincerity. I know you love america. You were an immigrant to this country. You have an amazing american dream story, and i think that gives you a lot of credibility. I want you to share a little bit of that with our audience. I appreciate you for doing that. I was born and raised in iran. I was born october 18, 78, three months before the shah was in exile, so i lived in iran through the whole war in tehran. I saw how bad it was when youre going outside and youre seeing a bomb being dropped. One of the days we had 160 plus bombs dropped when i lived in tehran. Six weeks after khomeini died, wees caped iran, went to germany. I came to the states, i went to glendale, california. After High School i went into the army. After the army i wanted to be the next, you know, arnold, mr. Olympia, marry a kennedy, be an actor, be a governor one day, but i was introduced to morgan Stanley And Dean witter the day before 9 11, started with them October Of 09 and we true to 15,000 plus agents. Its been a great ride, but i think the big factor is when i was sitting down, we had our fourth baby on june 26, on our anniversary e date. The week prior to that, were having this conversation about debates going on. And then my babys born, im at the hospital, im looking at her and thinking to myself, your daddys dreams became a reality, pretty much all of my dreams in america have become a reality. And im wondering if shes going to have the same opportunity orbit. Ive got a 9, a 7, a 5 and a fourweekold baby now, and i want to make sure they have the same opportunity to have their dreams become reality just like their fathers. Rachel its definitely admirable. You were born in iran but made in america. I love it, and i know your heart is in the right place. Lets see where it goes. Thanks for joining us, patrick. Thank you. Rachel all right. I discovered prevagen. I started taking it and after a period of time, my memory improved. It was a gamechanger for me. Prevagen. Healthier brain. Better life. Mission control, we are go for launch. Tminus two minutes and counting. Um, shes eating the rocket. Copy that, shes eating the rocket. I assume we needed that . [chomping sound] lunchables built to be eaten. She has eaten the rocket. [girl burps] over. Sweet dreams are made of these who am i to disagree . I traveled the world and the seven seas everybodys looking for Something Pete and then there were four. [laughter] and a pile of trash. Oh, theres five. The live look at Capitol Hill where protesters are camped out sounding the alarm on the Eviction Moratorium that is expiring soon. Youve seen some members of of e socalled squad overnight. Their staffers are holding it down for them. Lets bring in Bill Bennett, former Education Secretary to ronald reagan, friend of the show. Mr. Secretary, thank you so much for being here. We make light of it, the fact that Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush and others were on the steps overnight fighting this moratorium on eviction, but ultimately, isnt it a larger conversation about them wanting Emergency Covid measures whether its unemployment benefits or eviction, stopping evictions, they want them made permanent. These are socialists sleeping out overnight to keep the Government Money running. Yeah. They like crisis because crisis gives them control, and i think thats the bigger picture. Lets focus on this one though. That crowd of, what have you got now, four people . Three people in. Pete five. Its not a huge turnout for this. Not huge, broad sympathies. The Supreme Court has said you cant extend these benefits. I was digging into this morning, 20 Billion is owed to these landlords at this point, about 20 Billion. 47 Billion was in tranche one of the legislation that went for covid for rent. That is, for people to pay their rent. 47 Billion went out and 20 Billion is owed. So do we really need to extend this when theres tons of money for . We havent even yet, pete, begun to fathom how many things are in that trillion dollars or that 2 Trillion initial deal because it hasnt all been distributed yet, and we dont know whats in it. We passed it before we knew what was in it which is the Nancy Pelosi thing. Yes, this is all about control x its all about using words like landlord, other than, chairman, ceo. Owner. Those are the bad guys, thats the way the Marxist Program works, and the people are always the good people. Including the guy, i think you mentioned, whos not paying rent, but subleasing his place to somebody else. So hes getting rent. Its quite extraordinary. Not broad sympathy for this. Pete no, its amazing. And No Ones speaking up for these landlords that are underwater as a result. Its The System and saying it is the land lords who are the problem where you dont have anyone to rent from if you dont have a landlord. Have you ever seen anything like this, where this kind of Government Money is going to individuals who theres no accountability for it, theyre not made to pay their rent, and theres no plan to rectify it. Is this, ultimately, what the left wants . Yeah, no, ive never seen anything like it, and there has never been anything like it. Again, we dont know the extent to be which the money went out for various things that havent been distributed and have no name. But we know Theres Plenty of money out there. But again, this is a way of getting control. Now, the next thing we see on the horizon is more covid scare. Theres nobody better than marty makary, youve had him on, who is explaining that everybody who has had covid has this natural vaccination. If you¢ havent had havent had covid, get vaccine and youre not going to get very sick, and youre not going to die. We will see this effort at more control, and youll see some of these governors shut down, and im worried about the schools pete yes. Because were already getting some signs from the union leaders, well, maybe we dont open this year. Pete why is that, mr. Secretary . Randi weingarten said theyre going to try. And the data is showing us that kids are half a year behind already. Do they not care about that . Apparently not. Now, im ambivalent on this, pete, because, you know, i want schools to open because with ive seen the math Scores Loss here that and the loss that kids have had in math and reading, and they should go back for that if the schools are teaching math and reading. Also for the mental health of kids, they need to be back. They need to be with their friends, with their peers. Isolation for teenagers, younger kids is terrible. When you interview these kids and you talk about school, the thing you hear most often is i want to see my friends. Thats actually very important. But my ambivalence is when they go back to school, pete, what are they going to be taught . Pete that is right. Are they going to be taught critical Race Theory . Are they going to be taught math . Thats why School Choice has never been more important, and we need full School Choice which is you get the money attached to the kids backpack, he and his parents can take the money wherever, private school, catholic school, home school, wherever. That way you choose the program you want. You had a teacher on earlier who, i mean, parent on who said i just want to know what it is youre teaching, and they would not tell her. This is crazy. Go somewhere else. Pete if you can. Why clamor to get back into government schools if theyre just going to poison minds in the process. Right. Pete secretary Bill Bennett, thank you for your time. Hey, it was my birthday yesterday, i want a glass of lemonade. [laughter] pete here we go, mr. Secretary 52 years old, here i am. [laughter] pete 52. Rachel happy birthday for lawrence. Lawrence yes, sir. Pete hes doing it for you. One of our favorites, Bill Bennett. Thank you, sir. Happy birthday. Thank you, pete. Thank you. Rachel all right. Well, turning to your headlines, this just in, a live look at Capitol Hill where the senate plans to work at noon to work on the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. Senators worked through the night to finalize the bills text. Im fully committed to passing a bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. And so the senate will remain in session. The longer it takes to finish, the longer well be here. But were going to get the job done. Rachel the bill includes 550 Billion of new spending. Bacon may disappear in california. Too much cholesterol which also means no bacon. [laughter] rachel a new animal Welfare Law that that takes effect next year requires more space for breeding piggings. Only 4 piggings. Only 4 of producers meet the new rules, that means the golden state could lose almost all of its Pork Supply with those remaining facing higher cost. Pete oh, man. Lauren lawrence that is so crazy. Pete so we brought some Bacon Rachel oh, good pete well you can still have it. I dont know if these are ethically sourced and raised pigs, unclear. Lawrence for all the folks moving to texas from california, dont bring this nonsense, okay . Youre going to start a war. Pete think about this though, this is religion for the left. They create new regulations rachel they want this to happen. They dont want you to eat meat. Pete you have to eat plantbased bacon. Lawrence Health Insurance No One likes that. Rachel especially in texas. Lawrence a lawrence adam, you got a sandwich, right. Adam i love bacon. Lawrence youre a good man. Adam there is no way wed get are rid of bacon here in new york. No way. Bacon, Egg And Cheese is the official sandwich in new york city. Im eating them all the time. Beautiful here in Fox Square and, you know what . That teas the case thats the case around large portions of the country. Its going to be a hot one in the southeast, temperatures running up into triple digits. That is the big weather story. Now as im getting ready to toss it back to you guys, i do want to show you how much i love bacon, if you can bring it back out on me. Everywhere i go when i walk around like this, im always carrying a bacon, Egg And Cheese, everywhere i go. Lawrence i support that, adam. Pete check him next time you see him. See if hes carrying one. Lawrence exactly are. Make sure. [inaudible conversations] [laughter] lawrence up next, Maria Bartiromo. Stay with us. [laughter] berty mutual customizes Car Insurance so you only pay for what you need. How much money can Liberty Mutual save you . One two three four five 72,807 72,808. Dollars. Yep. Everything hurts. Only pay for what you need. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Pete Welcome Back. Well, bidens administration quietly resuming a Trump Era Policy, fast Tracking Deportation flights for migrants denied asylum. Maybe a de facto admission that i dont even know what to think. Rachel its kind of pete theres just like lawrence its shady. Rachel why are we flying them back out . The main thing they should do is reinstate the Trump Era Stay in mexico policy, and then we wouldnt have to be deporting and paying for flights for people to go back to begin with, right . Am i crazy . Lawrence that should pete not on that topic. [laughter] rachel im just saying. Pete right. Sunday morning Futures Host Anchor Maria Bartiromo is here to react. Maria, i couldnt even get the words out. Rachel had a thoughts, lawrence had thoughts, what do you make of this reinstating of the Trump Policy . Maria well, to be honest good morning, team, great to see you this Sunday Morning. Ive got to tell you, i think this is all misleading because the truth is they only sent back 73 people. And when you consider the fact that title 42 was the main tool that the Trump Administration used to actually send people back as soon as they arrived, there was not any standing around, there wasnt staying in america in any way, shape or form, it was sending you back to the country of origin immediately. And the biden administration all but removed title 42 when they came up with a plan tO Say if you are a child, you will be able to come in and stay. If you are a couple or a family with young children, you will be able to come and stay. So they all but did away with title 42, and were going to get into this, deep dive with Stephen Miller because Stephen Miller is coming up in about ten minutes, and he says title 42 is a matter of life and death, particularly during a time of covid rising. And youve got the number of cases among migrants up 900 , and without title 42 the ability to send people right back, you are talking about a superspread situation. Is so thats why here wants to get into title 42 and explain why this whole idea of sending them back, deporting people is misleading, and theyre not deporting many people at all. Thats my take on it, you know . Were talking about, they have this 2,700page Infrastructure Bill that they want to to get through before the August 6th recess, in two weeks, and No One has seen anything in terms of the 3,000 pages. Its absolutely extraordinary, what chuck schumers doing right now, jamming in the 1 Trillion along the with the 5. 5 trillion. They call it 3. 5 trillion, but theres a lot of gimmicks. They want to get this done in the next two weeks, and hes saying if we dont get it done, No Ones going to summer break. This is incredibleing whats going on in washington as youve got a Border Crisis exploding by the minute. Lawrence shady can business. They said they were going to bring back integrity and the norms and all this nonsense that they talked about, maria, but theyre not doing it. Pete well be watching, maria, in about ten minutes.
