And in these cities across the country in yet another federal effort to stop the blood shed. The question remains, will this work . A judge was forced to drop the charges against this accused killer because nobody from the circuit Attorneys Office showed up to prosecute the case once it went to court, this is one of three Murder Cases. This is not shoplifting. Murder cases. They were dismissed in the city of st. Louis in just one week. So what is going on in this Court System . Families want to know the answer to this more than anybody. They want that answer from the st. Louis circuit attorney, Kim Gardner. Mike tobin has the back story. Hi, mike. You described it. What you have are Murder Cases being dropped, dismissed from court because the prosecutor is unprepared or the prosecution is unprepared or the prosecutor didnt show up altogether. And that he would ask for 20 years, but that the defendant would perhaps only receive 18 years. So i said the only part that i would like to participate in happens to be the victims impact statement. I went four months without hearing any word. I said, i had better check to make sure since i live in texas, i need to make sure and making flight arrangements, what are the pandemic circumstances and upon that call, which i considered to be just a routine call, i was then instructed by a Prosecuting Attorney who had taken over the case that that was not the case at all. That they had accepted a Plea Deal and this particular prosecutor asked me in fact what happened. And i said, what do you mean what happened in this situation with my son between he and the defendant . I said i am in texas. Isnt that supposed to be your job to investigate . Well, im new. Im just starting. By The Way, there will be no trial. Your son will be getting we have accepted from kim Gardners Office an eightyear Plea Deal without my knowledge.
