All of these people if you look at their twitter feeds are like they are shrines to donald trump. Its shameful. You know, we are six months now past his attempt to overthrow the election. J. D. Vance is, i think, the starkest example of the Flip Flop but its happening across all of these republican primaries. Mark as i said, im interested in guys who are trying to move the meter. And j. D. Vance seems to be doing his bid on that front. Here he is in newsweek, nearly every major business and financial leader in this country is a supporter of the democratic party. They love illegal immigration for the simple reason that their livelihoods are subsidized by illegal immigration while illegal aliens themselves are subsidized by the taxpayer. Its a Redistribution Scheme from the poor to the rich. More immigration means lower wages for their workers and easier access to servants for their decadent personal lives. In recent Days Kavanaugh and roberts have joined the three Lefty Judges in keeping the federal moratorium on rental Accommodation Eviction in place. And in the transgender bathroom case, kavanaugh, gulch, barrett and roberts join the three leftists in declining even to hear the case. So whats going on . We turn to not only the host of Fox News At Night but our chief courtroom honcho Shannon Bream and shannon has an excellent column on this at foxnews. Com. And, shannon, your take is that there is really its not a 63 court. Its actually something closer to an italian parliament. There is like multiple parties in here or at least three of them. Yeah. It seems that when you look at how things shook out this last season, this last term for the court, yeah, you could argue there is a 333. The liberal justices, sotomayor, Breyer And Kagan on one end. In the middle a lot of folks would argue you have got the chief justice, justify Justice E roberts and kavanaugh. And on the other end justin alito, thomas and gulch. So that you know, i think that you have those three in the middle who We Saw them go both ways a number of times. They are not, if conservatives want to call something a reliable vote for what they want to see justices do or they hope they will do but what they say they want is obviously for the justices to follow the law, to tax to interpret it as its written and those three often puts them in the middle going back and forth with those two other branches. Mark well, we have always had like a designated swinger on the court 20 years ago it was sandra Day Oconnor and then it was kennedy and then it was roberts. But, this business where you have got basically a roberts block. And you say its three. Im not so sure it isnt four in that Gulch Isnt Part of that block, too. This idea of a block that seems mainly interested in not wading in on anything that will make the court the center of americas Cultures War is that a fair. I think you can look at it that way. What they are going to argue is they dont want to be viewed as political. We know the chief very much is institutionalist. He wants it protect the court as an institution. I think you could argue that a couple of the other justices could be influenced by making decisions that way. Listen, they have come to a lot more consensus this last term than a lot of people would think based on the headlines. We crunched the numbers and basically 60 of the time they were a unanimous decision only a single dissenter. And i think they are all very aware of these calls for packing the court, this political pressure from outside. Even justin breyer, he was spoken out about, you know, stop with the pressing on the packing sensitive to that stuff coming from the outside. Mark there is you say all this consensus. There is one guy not on board with that and you have a quote in your column you say, shannon that left trump still fuming especially at two of his three Nominees Kavanaugh and barrett. Im very disappointed i fought they hard for them but i was very disappointed with a number of their rulings, trump said. Second guessing does no good i was disappointed with a number of rulings they have made. This is a third of the entire court and he seems to have think he got rolled, shannon. You will remember all of these candidates or nominees will say i have had no conversation with the nominating president. I didnt have a conversation with President Trump about how i would vote specifically on anything. Thats what we want from our judges. He had no guarantees. He probably was following guidance about what he thought about them based on their opinions and things they have said. But none of these justices is a guaranteed vote on anything until they get there, they hear the specific case and they vote. And we have engaged in loot of wars that havent done that well because we have fought all the way back to vietnam we fought them very half heartedly and even korea. Those wars all been at best a strategic stalemate at the end. Thats because we were never really fighting to win. Now, maybe we shouldnt have fought them at all which is one thing but fighting a War Half heartedly seems to be the worst of both worlds. Mark when you talk about the willingness to kill the enemy and all the rest of it, the Rules Of Engagement are ridiculous like in afghanistan. You heard of fire on a building unless you knew the name of every person in that building and it was on a list. Seems to be something more basic here that the whole question of strategy, will, the terms of Victory Isnt even considered anymore. No. Well, the wars are in many ways waged for political reasons and so they are assessed according to political goals and thats true now, too. You know, the biden administration is withdrawing, which isnt necessarily a bad idea. But they are not doing it because its a good idea. They are doing it because its a political imperative for them right now.
