I just ive seen how the eight years that ive been in the building that have been in we were very close, tightknit faculty, and even just a year of this training, i can see how it is started to unravel that. If its unraveling us as educators, and then we are supposed to take it into students. I know that they are very impressionable, especially being an elementary teacher. Its going to hurt them. Psychologically. And i know a lot of people have questions, parents do, theyre trying to get clarity and transparency. A lot of people realize they need to have difficult conversations about slavery, the countrys past, and how we make things better, but there are teachers and parents were worried that this is something a little bit different. If you ask questions, if you raise concerns, what are you worried about and speaking out about this particular training, and what youre being asked or respected to do . This is in teaching history, this is teaching students to, in my opinion, really kind of dislike themselves based on who they are. If you are in that i guess, privileged group, he showed the matrix.
