He and the Trump Organization accused of orchestrating what Prosecutorers Say is a 1. 7 million Tax Fraud Scheme that occurred over 15 years by providing corporate benefits to weisselberg and his family that weisselberg did not report. Weisselberg about 20 minutes ago left the courthouse here downtown manhattan, the Manhattan District Attorneys Office after the arraignment in which he pled not guilty to grand larceny charges in which the Trump Organization also pled not guilty to scheming to defraud. This alleged scheme had the Trump Organization orchestrating this Off The Books by providing him an apartment, providing him Mercedes Benz cars and paying tuition for weisselbergs grandchildren in a Private School in manhattan that charges 55,000 a year, this went on for years as a way to defraud new York Taxpayers the money that was due them. They said that weisselberg that lived in long island, tried to conceal his residency in manhattan to avoid new York City income taxes. The Trump Organization and trump lawyers blasted this prosecution saying it is extremely rare for a criminal prosecution to be carried out based on corporate benefits to top executivEs That corporations engage in this activity routinely in terms of compensating, providing other Compensation Or Stock to their top level corporate executives. Observers see this as the first step of manhattan and New York Stay Prosecutors to try to squeeze Allen Weisselberg to get him to cooperate in an expanding investigation of the trump empire. The trump Inner Circle says that mr. Weisselberg is loyal, an employee of the Trump Organization since 1973 having started with his father, fred. The Southern District of northern federal prosecutors, if there was attractive case to be made on trump, this case would not be in new York State court. It would be in federal court.
