May look quiet here in Terminal B at this hour, American Airlines says that it is seeing a 600 increase in the number of people taking to the air than during the darkest days of covid. In order to alleviate the stress on the system, american says they will cancel 60 flights a day, 1 of their regular schedule. Its not a big deal unless its your flight. The airline says we made targeted changes with impacting the fewest numbers in markets. We have multiple options for accommodation. The airline says theres no surprises. The cancellations are not last minute but days in advance. Passengers rerouted can receive a refund. Human smugglers continue to benefit the most from this crisis. This weekend we had the chance to embed with Texas State troopers that brought us to roma, texas. Take a look at this wild video that we shot from romo, about an Hour West of where we are. In the middle of the night, we went out and watched as Human Smugglers brought raft after raft of migrants across the Rio Grande from the mexican side and dropped them off on the american side, this happened over and over and over. Literally a Ferry Service for these smugglers. And the smugglers had no Fear Hoff being caught. They dropped these folks off yard away from Border Patrol, State Troopers and National Guard. They were laughing, joking, took their head coverings off. They had No Fear of being caught. This shows you how brazen they are. They talk about 60 people across right in front of us just in the span of about 45 minutes or so. Take a look at this other video, a Border Patrol Bus Cant get down to the riverbanks. So Border Patrol had to get the people together and march them up a hill until they could get basically group together in another Processing Area where there were more migrants that crossed the river. You had a group of at least 100 eventually in one single spot in one night. I had a chance to talk to a Texas State trooper and ask him why can you not grab the smugglers .
