Uc is my school. Ucla used to have a great reputation. Considering the scandal surrounding this woman what do you make of this particular academy embracing her . Yeah. Thank you so much for having me, first of all. This is an atrocious decision. Disgusting decision. This is a woman right now that should be investigated for possibly laundering money through her organization. We found she used millions of dollars from black Lives Matter. Funneled them to herself and not to the local chapters still reaching out to her wondering where the money is ucla for Me Time to be a very woke school. I would never want my child to be sitting and listening to somebody like Patrice Cullors, i have to tell you i did some Background Checks on her and i didnt see where she had accomplished anything in her life. I do know she went to ucla in a period of time and did obtain a degree. It did not say whether or not she graduated from that school. When you think about someone giving a commencement speech, you think of somebody that will motivate students, talk about their success, talk about how it is how easy it is to be successful in a country like america and that this is a place of opportunity. And we know that she is going to be talking about basically the exact opposite. Tammy its interesting when we look at the companies that have given black Lives Matter the marxist group a lot of money. Its almost like they are looking for an inoculation from being attacked. That the association is in a Sense Kind of saying, you know, dont hurt us or we are protected by this because, of course, she will r. Is being paid for this speech. On the other hand, have you got, you know demand real progress. People in the urban areas, local activists wonder why things never get better. You ran for office. You addressed that are people becoming aware the fact this in and of itself is a game keeping people rich while using the people in the Inner City . Yeah, no, i think people are starting to see that thank you for pointing that out. We have seen for over 50 years in baltimore where democrats have leveraged the urban struggle. Tammy thats exactly it . What black Lives Matter do. You see Patrice Cullors stepped down from blm because everyone is asking her where the money is and she is buying million dollars homes. People are starting to finally wake up to this. I think more and more people are saying, look, do you know what . They have done nothing in the black community across this country, taken in millions of dollars, im talking about Blm And Havent put it in the community at all. I do think people are finally waking up and realizing what is going on. Tammy dealing with police violence. Losing a child. Watching this Group Raise Money off of your dead child, your dead loved one. While then moving on to buy, you know, the million dollars homes. The only Silver Lining is it can wake people up. It can radicalize people and realizing the solutions are local. You must be involved. You must know who it is that you are dealing with when you want to change your local community as you continue to do. Kim klacik, thank you very much for being here. I appreciate it great job. You dont have to along far to find people camped out on sidewalks and living in shacks. Tent cities. Its a problem that doesnt seem to be have a solution in sight. Congresswoman, thank you very much for being here i go back and forth from Los Angeles to new york i see stuff i have never seen before tent cities, hopelessness. Drug abuse. This lack of kind of like a Zombie Dynamic that everybody looks away from. Tell us about your experience . You went from homelessness obviously here to congress. Whats your take on why this is happening in these blue cities . Well, thank you so much for having me on, tammy. Its a real pleasure. And, yes, Only In America can someone like me go from homeless to the House Of Representatives in less than a decade. Its pretty crazy. Because for a long time, conservatives have ignored this problem, really giving the narrative to The Left when it comes to issues like Opioid Addiction or homelessness, human trafficking. All these issues that have for a long time been dominated by the Lefts Narrative that people just need handouts rather than a handup. And thats why im so passionate about telling the story. My family, we lost our small Cattle Ranch due to a big Government Program from legislators that didnt even bother to read the bill. So after being homeless for several months, we had the opportunity to pick ourselves up by our Boot Straps and really work to claw back into that American Dream that everyone should aspire to. And thats a thing. Republicans and conservatives, we have the best policies to really lift people out of poverty. Capitalism. When you talk about the beauty of capitalism and what it has done to lift people out of poverty all across the world thats the story that never gets told. Here in america we are seeing these Government Programs that are intended to help but they miss the mark every single time. Tammy thats an interesting point. Congresswoman, thats what one argument i would make is that i would argue having come from The Left, that there is an effort to maintain the pain because of the programs. The money that comes. The arguments that during election time demonizing people and being able to use it against others that, in fact, that is the point. Rubbing salt into the wound is the phrase on The Left. This is what republicans have got to step into this like you have. That is the conservative ideal. Its not about these are lazy people who need to get a boot on their bottom. Its a combination of opportunities and encouragement and optimism and programs that actually lift up as you are saying. Exactly. Because our country is about equal opportunity not equal outcome. The programs and policies of The Left are meant to control people and keep them indestitute. That is why it is so important that conservatives get engaged and involved in these issues that we have allowed the let to dominate on. Im telling you, when we invest locally in communities and we actually give people a Hand Up rather than a handout, were going to see some of the best innovative ideas come to light. Were going to have the next generation of entrepreneurs. I can tell you right now this Freshman Class in the 117th congress we are tackling these issues like criminal justice reform, like homelessness. Its because we know that conservative policies are the ones that are going to drive the future and really lift our entire country out of this mess that the ultra liberal left has rammed down our throats time and time again. It starts by owning these policies and making sure that we have a Seat And Voice at the table.
