Only onethird supports Vaccine Passports to do every day things in the united states like going to the store, going to restaurants or even going to work. Ben kelsey, you have written about your own wrestling with this situation. Tell us a little bit about personal your feelings on Vaccine Passports. Bret i was hesitant to go public about my story. I was to be expecting but only the vaccine became available shortly after i became pregnant which left me in a very difficult position of having to decide whether to take an experimental vaccine with little to really know data from women taking it first trimester and safely and successfully giving birth fullterm. Or as a pregnant Woman Risk high risk conditions and getting covid. But this is a very personal decision that i was hesitant to speak out about because of the propensity for those in the media to automatically Smear Anybody for simply raising questions about Vaccine Safety as covid deniers, trumps supporting vaccine did not antibiotic servers. This is extremely a very serious weight of a decision that many of us are facing. Ben emily come i think what we have seen that has raised and that lumping that kelsey is talking basically anyone with concerns whether a preexisting condition or whether they are worried about longterm fertility issues, that those get dismissed as being the same bucket of antivaccination sentiment but in terms of the americans, it doesnt seem like they were going along with that determination. No, that is the politically elite class that is kind of like imposing that on people. I thought when i looked at the data what really impressed me, the american people are smart. They are able to distinguish between context of situations. For instance, the date of death that we sell, people think we shouldnt be required to have a vaccine to go to restaurants or stores or bars but when it comes to international travel, people do think you should be required or show a native Covid Test given the variance in india and brazil. So based on the situation. I think healthy raises a excellent point. We see that borne out in the data. Women are much more likely than men to say that they feel like theyve been unfairly pressured to get the vaccine before they are ready. And i think the best play for political leaders and Health Officials who want to convince people to take the vaccine is to show data and treat them with respect rather than kind of relying on social pressure alone to try to make these women feel like they have to get it before they are ready.
