The family went on to call it, quote, unconstitutional and not justifiable saying it was akin to an execution. But, today, the county d. A. Played the videos during a News Conference and they clearly show that deputies did not fire their guns until mr. Brown tried to flee. The day says when brown backed up his car, he hit one deputy and then pulled forward toward two other deputies. Watch. About Browns Death while tragic, was justified because mr. Browns actions caused three deputies with the Sheriffs Office to reasonably believe it was necessary to use deadly force to protect themselves and others. A Circuit Judge has ruled for now the body and Dash Cam Videos Cannot be released to the public and we should note it was originally reported that Andrew Brown was shot five times. He was shot twice, once in the shoulder and once in the back of his neck. Though he did have wounds from shrapnel and other bullet fragments, will. Using his vehicle as a deadly weapon, it forced the deputies to have to resort to deadly force, to protect themselves and their fellow officers.
