I could talk to you about 47. 9 Billion worth of apple iphones sold in one quarter. Or about 8 Billion of ipads or more than 9 Billion of macs. You see what is happening here in the steady stream of earnings out of corporate america that are proving you are making america hum. This isnt about government spending. Its about you spending. This is not about optimism over whether the government will spend more, this is over optimism that you will spend more. You are. Youre not doing it recklessly. Youre doing it very carefully. Very diligently. Very consistently. The company says that they will sell another 100 Billion in the spring time after the best three months of the year in its history and over 200 Million prime members and counting. Over at apple, they report their best march quarters in the companys near 40year history. Selling more than 1 Billion each every time. As you pointed out, buying mac computers during the remote Work And Schooling trend and paying more for the Apple Music Care and apple tv plus. We had the five biggest companies in america and the biggest in the world with blockbuster sales, earnings and profit. One statistic that says it all, these five tech giants, the apples, microsoft and amazons, google, alphabet and facebook, they sold more in any given week than mcdonalds does for the spire year, neil. So im sure the economy can thank you for that. What do you make, susan, when you talk to people, young people, obviously and you hear and get a sense of where theyre coming from, where are they . Right now in this mindset coming out of the pandemic. Yeah, coming out of the pandemic, people make the reference that well see the Roaring 20s in 2021. Even yes, i know, werent around then. Its the sense of Confidence And Hope that 2021, we could see the fastest Growth Rate and in fact weve seen it in the first three months of the year. The fastest since 1984. If we grow at the 8 or 9 that sold Goldman Sachs is predicting, it would be the fastest Growth Rate and faster than china in the 70s and 80s. These statistics are incredible and the spending is happening. Tim cook, i spoke to him on earnings. He said hes seen a lot of strength here in the u. S. I mean, we have a lot of money. Theres a lot of things here. First of all, we have savings now. Nobody has been commuting, nobody going out for fancy dinners. People working remotely. They dont want them to be too high. At the same token, these taxes would hurt jeff bezos. He has accountants and lawyers. It will hurt the person that comes and fixes his faucets. It will hurt the small business owners. Theyll have to past the coast on to the middle class america. So you know, while they want us to be competitive because these companies want to grow. Right . We havent completed those investigations. That has undermined the confidence of Georgia Voters both in the primary and in The General. Now in the runoff where no investigations have been announced. We need to hold him accountable and to understand why he took these actions and why he interfered with the leakage of the conversation with the president two days before the election. Neil well, i think part of that leaked conversation was appeared to be the president looking for votes. Now, you have to be there to know how that was framed. But it did sound suspicious. I guess what im asking you is given the investigations in to this, given the Hand Counts and others that happened in the state, is this overdone . Do you believe that you would have won without this, that Donald Trump would have won without this and former Senator Purdue would have won without this . What im focused on is protecting election integrity. My argument is what that is what Secretary Raffensperger should be focused on, election indegregty. My focus is not looking back to change the outcome. Its looking back to learn and see what happened. If nothing went wrong, why is Secretary Raffensperger afraid to have a Look Back . To hold our top Elections Official accountable and he should welcome that investigation because what would happen is we could create more confidence in our state to make sure that more georgians turn out to vote.
