Or whether the democrats could simply run that through under reconciliation which requires just the 51 votes. I dont think many republicans would go along with that. But they might if they love the bill. They might go along with something. They wont get the full Tax Increase that the democrats of the full Tax Increase that they want, but they might get enough to win Joe Manchin over for example with the Tax Increase at a more modest size to accommodate a more modest bill. I think there is a little merit to what they are saying about times change, technology changes, definitions do evolve. I just think they have gone too far with how much they are trying to jam and oncall infrastructure. You can take it to every length you want, and that is my beef with what the democrats have done here. What Joe Biden has done trying to jam insomuch spending on the guise of infrastructure. But i do think that there are some things like broadband and other elements that reflect a more modern society that can indeed be considered infrastructure and i think that republicans would work with democrats on that unless it democrats go too far with redefining the word, which is what they have done. Well, i think that it iS Possible that if you can break off some pieces of this, anything that makes the u. S. Both parties would say that they are infrastructure and it iS Possible that they could get republican support. I think that when you get into human infrastructure, which the White House defines including universal prek, Community College come a long Term Care so that women dont have to quit their jobs outside the home to take care of an elderly parent, i think a lot of those women would say that is infrastructure, you will not get republican support for that. But there are some things that you could get bipartisan support for. Syria, when syria was developing a nuclear plant, israel took it out. And now iran, it appears that israel has taken out or neutralized for the time being their ability to produce weapons down the road. So israel takes security seriously and any nation that is like israel, a small nation surrounded by potentially hostile countries in the middle east, any other nation would do the same thing as israel does, make peace where you can and defend themselves where you must.
