Biden administrations plan to spend tens of millions of dollars on temporary housing for migrant families. Earlier this month, h. H. S. Green lit an 87 Million Contract for a nonprofit to place 1200 migrant families in hotels. As our Border Facilities continue to overcrowd. Now, no one argues that we need to get families out of these cramped shelters, but the price tag is raising eyebrows. Broken down per person the program would spend 71,000 to house each migrant or 284,000 per family of four. Now, instead of using those millions to help just 1200 migrants, imagine how that money could have been used to help some of the more than 500,000 homeless americans. Its another example of how the left, led by the Biden Administration, have misplaced their priorities. Putting the interest of Illegal Immigrants ahead of american citizens. But thats not all. Lets go it San Diego County where nearly 130,000 students are still weeks away from returning to the classroom. The teachers unions battle parents to keep the schools closed. But now theyre back teaching Migrant Children who recently crossed the border. They are American Students . If he wont be allowed back to mid april. Parents are rightfully angry and we are going to talk to a mom from san diego in just a few minutes. Dont tell Kamala Harris you are upset, she will just laugh in your face. More parents are seeing the value of educators. [laughter] when they have. [laughter] and say we are not paying them nearly enough. [laughter] meanwhile, state like new york are launching Vaccine Passport programs, which would make you volunteer your personal medical information if you want to fly or go a baseball game. But guess who doesnt need a Vaccine Passport . The thousands of migrants crossing our southern border. Many of them dont even have actual passports. But the Biden Administration not only letting them in the country, they are packing them in tight quarters without proper testing or they are sending them by bus and plane into the interior of the country with no testing at all. There is a disturbing Double Standard happening right now across america. Democrats want to tighten their control over law abiding americans and restrict their freedom but when it comes to illegal immigrant, the rules can be broken, even covid rules. Its another cold reminder that our new president was never interested in putting america first. Now, joining me now is karl rove, former Deputy Chief Of Staff for george w. You are hearing the numbers of what this is costing in terms of housing. These numbers are come out just this week. What do you make of this . Well, rachel, you say where our priorities. But these are the priority of the left. The left wants open borders. They want to use american taxpayer money, not for their own children to be in school but to, you know, say that they are being humane that they have a more Humane Immigration Process than President Trump did. So thats what they are trying to do by having in Person Learning in places like san diego while taxpayers and parents there dont have their kids in school and continue to suffer. But they believe that, you know, america is entitled and that because we have had riches bestowed upon us that we should open our doors to the rest of the world and that americans can suffer a little bit at the hands of, you know, thousands of Illegal Immigrants who are coming into the country while they pay for it. They are part of this globalist idea that we are all international citizens. We are not part of the United States of america. We have to look out for the whole rest of the world and their policies on that are playing out on the border right now. So this is opposite of america first. Thats exactly what the left stands for these days. And when it comes to, you know, what you too about it, you know, this is the difference between the left and the right when it comes to border security, when it comes to the priorities of each Political Party and so here we are with the lefts priority playing out in realtime. Rachel you know, karl, you have been in the white house. You understand the Politics Around a crisis like this. I just want to understand how are they just even politically getting away with this . I cant imagine this happening in a Republican White House and just, you know, the news media is not as outraged as you would imagine. Yeah. Well, a couple of things. First of all, lets put in a little bit of context. The money, the 87 million is for 1239 people. Thats the capacity. So, obviously, they are planning on having those slots being filled by a succession of children or families for a long period of time. Rachel great point. The other thing is that, remember, this is a fraction of what we expect to see this year. Already we are on track in this fiscal year to have over a Million People cross the border illegally and be apprehended and you need to have some place to hold some of those people, hopefully some for a short period of time others for you have to hold them for a longer period of time before can you actually get them processed out of the country. The first and foremost thing we ought to do is be looking at how can we stop these people from coming and, second of all, how can we more quickly process people out of the country . But, look, when president bush was in office and we had three or 400,000 people a year coming across, when President Trump was in office and had hundreds of thousands of people, lets be honest, millions of dollars were being spent to house those people temporarily. What we got here though is a confluence of lots more people coming across the border. Rachel yeah. Policies that dont return them back across the border quickly, and a desire on the part of elements of this government to allow these people to come here and stay here and proximate cause part of the american experiment. Rachel yeah. So, this is different. And one of the things we also got to realize is part of our problem here is the cartels and the traffickers are trying to overwhelm the system so that they use up the resources of the Border Patrol and then as a result it makes it easier for them to bring drugs and people north and for them to take money and guns south. Thats part of the strategy going on here by the enemy that we face across the border. Rachel yeah. Well 284,000, you could pay a home for that its just outrageous. I mean, karl, katie, talk about how we end this. Senator kennedy from louisiana said its easy peasy you just, you know, go back to what we were doing in december. How long can this go on . Do they have any intention . Will it ever get to a point that its so bad you know what we have got to go back to the way we were doing or is there another plan and intention behind this . Well, i dont know. Rachel katie, either one of you. Can katie here. Katie karl, go ahead and then i will answer. Look. They have got to change. They have got to go back. The policies that were in place that said remain in mexico if you want to apply for Refugee Status were important. Taking tough measures to return these people to the countries from which they came, guatemala, honduras, nicaragua in many cases but elsewhere in the world if need be, those need to be done. The message needs to be sent, if you come here you will waste a lot of money, you will waste a lot of time and you will put your life and family at risk if you attempt to come here. Rachel yeah, well, thats not the message being sent right now, you are absolutely right, karl. There is no intention of changing the policy. They have been so adamant from the podium they are not going to be the trump administration. To change the policy would require they go back to common sense Immigration Policies that stopped the flow of illegal immigration from these Central American countries to the United States. But, as you played, you know, the Vice President who is in charge of diplomatic relations with these countries is laughing about this. And they are saying well she is not going to take a trip to the border. They have no intention of going back to any kind of policy that stops this because, politically, the press doesnt really push them on it and politically they can use it for years to come against republicans when it comes to an amnesty plan which they are setting up now with allowing all these people to stay, not giving them court date and having no intention of sending any of them home. Rachel meanwhile, there is outrage in san diego tonight as parents learn teachers from the San Diego Unified School direct are teaching Migrant Children in person. While American Students in san diego are still Remote Learning right now. The district says the problem is taking place during spring break and its giving teachers an opportunity to volunteer to teach Migrant Children. But teachers unions cited Safety Concerns for not returning to the classroom. So do they feel safer teaching Migrant Children . Joining me now san diego parent leslie hofmeister. We feel safer Teaching Migrant kids than we feel teaching American Kids in our beautiful schools . You know, i am a mom of three children. And i had to endure some of the just hardship and the horrors of zoom school and im also a licensed and Marriage Therapist i work with all ages many youth and teens who are suffering from the social isolation that we are not meant to live alone. We are not meant to be alone. We need to be in community. And i have been part of a group that has been pleading with our School District and to open our schools since september and they have not listened to us. And so, i cant make sense of this. It doesnt make sense that now we, you know, we hear that its a moral obligation and we hear that its our constitutional right for education for our children and in Person Education and how does this make sense that we can now offer in person to the Migrant Children who just showed up and we have locked our students out of the classroom for over a year. They have denied our children the right to in Person Education. And it is a moral obligation to get them back in the classroom. Rachel absolutely. I cant imagine even as a taxpayer. This is just so outrages. Outrageous they took millions of dollars from the Relief Package and still not back and say they are going to go over and teach the Migrant Children. I got a statement from the San Diego Office of education i want to read you and maybe can you react after this. They said all children in california, regardless of immigration status, have a constitutional right to education. We also have a moral obligation to ensure a Bright Future for our children. Hmmm. Hmmm, yeah. Yeah. So, how can you say that, that you are speaking out of two sides of your mouth . How can we prioritize with such a sense of urgency the migrants that just showed up in our city and have denied access for over a year despite the pressure and the pleading of parents to return our students to the classroom. We have been told that it is not safe. We have been told that they are following the science. We have been told that they have usd, Science Experts scientists guiding this decision. But the truth is our politicians in the state along with our unions as well as our District Officials here in san diego unified are failing our students, and they are using my children and all these other 100,000 students as political pawns in a game that is unacceptable and it needs to stop. I know you have sent the letter. No, not really. We have a number of outstanding requests of secret Service Protectee status when his father was Vice President. He ended that protectee status Secret Service the day that Time Magazine article came out revealing his connection with burisma he supposedly ended the protection from the Secret Service. But, yet a year later, the Secret Service is somehow involved with him. We have never got to the bottom of that and we will see if we get to the bottom of this. Rachel i want to move on from hunter because i cant because i just have to ask you one more thing. Im one of those Americans Still 1250e78d that the American Voters didnt have the full story about his laptop and the corruption caught on that back in 2020 bft election. Do you think we will ever get to the bottom of that . Do you think we will ever find out who the big guy is. I have my doubts, you know, one of the reasons i really wanted to make sure that President Trump had a second term, we were finally getting our arms around some of this, we were getting we were able to extract some information from the agencies that were pretty well slow walking all of our requests. But i just have my doubts. I mean, obviously our report was completely ignored by the media thats in the back pocket of the democrats and the liberal left. And, this with the new administration, im just afraid this is all going to be buried and goes down the black hole of history. Rachel right. Its sad. You were just down at the border which is another sad thing that you saw. Tell us what you and the senators were able to see and gather. I know you have been on the story for long before this crisis have you been following the border and the action down there the misguided policies of this administration is going to lead to greater inhumanity. Its one of the great under reported stories here is just the Human Trafficking component of this, and just the did he go accommodations. One of the things we learned from Border Patrol, for example, was that one of the deck uniques of these Human Traffickers some of the most evil people on the planet. Thats what these policies are some of the most evil people on the planet. They are multibilliondollar Business Plan but one of the things they do is when theyre interdicted by a cbp boat they will throw a child overboard into the current of the rio grande. Thats how some of these children drown. They sell children. That came out in testimony before our committee in 2001. They sold this child for 84 so that people could exploit our very lenient asylum laws when it comes to family. The Biden Administration knows all of these things and, yet, they completely dismantled what worked. President trump pretty well stopped the flow much up accompanied children and family units and in doing so stopped the Human Trafficking Business Model and degradations and President Biden dismantled all of that and now we are seeing to a greater extent than had ever has been. But the single greatest threat now to americans right now in terms of getting this virus, particularly the deadly brazilian variant, is the open border that joe biden has. The flow of illegal aliens that are coming across that border is going to be over a million, at least, in 2021. Many of those are going to be infected. This brazilian variant is more deadly, more contagious, for two reasons, rachel, one, is that if you look at how these this virus works. Its basically got that Spike Protein of the virus and it punches your ace receptor, and once those lock the virus gets into your cells, right . So what this brazilian variant does is it has got a more powerful punch. So what im concerned about as this brazilian variant comes across the southern border, courtesy of joe biden, that our vaccines arent going to work as well. What will save more american lives, mandating that all of us wear masks or closing the southern border . Closing the southern border. No question. We have evidence of this. And everybody acknowledges now that was a beautiful decision that saved hundreds of thousands of lives, perhaps millions. We have exactly the same situation here. Its a great question, rachel, and the answer is if we were to secure our border and stop all the infections coming across that border, we would save thousands of american lives, absolutely no question about that. Well, it varies and its bad for the children at every turn. Because this is not the way that people are supposed to come in to a free country. And they are fleeing various forms of grief in other countries, lockdowns and so forth. But they are not getting into the United States nowadays without paying the cartel. The mexican drug cartels. So theyre being victimized endlessly. And even when they come into the United States, theyre being put into buses and planes and flown to the four corners of the United States to be put into the hand of only god knows who. There is not proper documentation or checks or frankly just oversight and diligence on looking after the children. So, its very upsetting to see and we are seeing an invasion right now and the children are kind of lost in the shuffle if you will. Caught in the crossfire i guess you would say. Rachel i mean, your specialty is saving kids who are vulnerable and get lost into the Sex Trafficking Business are you seeing this happening as children are coming across the border . We are. There is a lot of them, sadly, taken inside of the United States through the child protective services. So, its not just an international problem. Although it is a global issue. We have got a big problem inside the United States with being an estimated 38 to 50 billion a year criminal enterprise. So the Fastest Growing crime spree on earth is sell children. We are arresting the predators with federal and local Law Enforcement and alerting the populist to the nature of the threat. So the American People can start to fight back. Demand stronger legislation against the predators, stronger protection for the children. And just fight back, culturally to change our culture back to one thats protective of children rather than so permissive of the abuse that we have seen lately. Rachel 100 percent. Im not trying to call you out but you act as if, you know, there is nothing noticeable about this apart from the fact there are two people. Well, im confused are you trying to get me to say that there are two different races in this picture . Yes, i am asking you to say that. Rachel School Board Member reportedly saying the video are was from an english class where students were exposed to Critical Race Theory the superintendent of the School System says he has not the school has not adopted Critical Race Theory as a framework for staff to adhere to. Its exactly what parents are afraid is happening in the classroom. Im going to go right to you, ian. Why do you think that they want our children to hate each other . I mean, it just seems to me like they are forcing him to not be colorblind. Well, thats absolutely correct. Look, first of all bravo to that kid for standing up what he believes. In i want to back it up a little bit. Two weeks ago you had the white wine comey mommy its of Antifa Doxxing other parents for opposing Critical Race Theory in schools. On friday, you had an Advisory Committee of Loudoun County Public Schools putting out a calltoaction to silence the opposition for people that oppose Critical Race Theory. And then now you have this video that shows this teacher confronting the kid about really just being colored blind. And all along the way they just say we are just teaching equity. Now we know what equity is. Equity is tearing up the principles of equality that Martin Luther king, Abraham Lincoln and Jackie Robinson fought for and parents need to know whats going on in their schools. Its not just here in loudoun, its everywhere in america. Rachel kim, you just saw how deceptive that statement was its not part of our framework but their teachers are teaching it. By the way we just came out of a pandemic where our children are falling behind in math and reading and Everything Else they need. Whats going on here . No, rachel, you are absolutely right. Just so your viewers know, i am a mother. This is very upsetting to me because i have a buy racial child. This Critical Race Theory or equity or whatever you want to call it puts her in a tough predicament really because she has a white father and black mother. Making them acknowledge race and putting them against each other. Like you said we were just in a pandemic. Students are just getting back to class. As far as i know we pay taxes for kids to get an education as far as math, science, english. You know, this is the role of a parent to talk about something as unimportant as race. And, you know, down there in Loudoun County back there in 2018 as ian actually wrote up, they spent 422,000 of taxpayer dollars on this Equity Leadership program or Critical Race Theory. So this is part of their plan and really need teachers and parents to stand up to this. Rachel yeah. You are so right. Teaching kids to hate each other but also themselves. Im half mexican and half spanish. Within the Hispanic Community they think my mom must be an imperialist. They want me to hate myself or hate my parent. The whole Critical Race Theory is ridiculous. Its so antiamerican its just destroying this country. Ian, i really commend you because you are Fighting Back in a really important way. Are you seeing any advancement . Are parents getting courage from seeing what you are doing in virginia . Absolutely. And to talk about something that kim said, i have heard from many parents dealing with the same thing, biracial parents that have kid. They dont illinois know how to explain this to them. I think one of the things thats very important is this Critical Race Theory issue is really just a react. Okay . So you have the folks that started blm they all went to elite colleges with sociology Political Science degrees and now making money off of it. Then you have the Equity Consultants and they are hired for hundreds of thousands of dollars to come in and do, you know, a racism assessment. Do you think they are going to come back and say gee, i didnt find anything. They are making money. Then have you eastbound Brim Contendy and Robin Dangelo charging 20 grand an hour talk about their book quite frankly read like they were written during a bad lsd trip. They are all Making Tons Of Money off this, and they are hurting students and parents and dividing americans. Rachel im so glad you bring up the react around it. It really is a Cottage Industry and people forget that again, both of you are such great voices in this. We need to fight back. This is not going away. Blm, by the way, their curriculum is now gaining quite a momentum all across the country not just in blue states.
