i have my one little green on. i figure at the end of st. paddy's day, little green. the little green. i did my part. >> sean: there was no green beer throw up episodes in new york city that i saw. >> laura: i know you're going to remedy that now as i start my show. awesome. awesome, hannity. i'll get the producers on the cleanup action. great show, sean. i'm laura ingraham. this is "the ingraham angle" on this st. patrick's day tonight. as if it wasn't bad enough when democrats tried to blame the border crisis on trump and then hurricanes. now it's a new conspiracy. the border patrol union is purposely exacerbating the crisis. a union president is here with piece of his mind. joe biden is allowing a potential killer back into the white house, as hannity just referenced. an administration elitist flouts covid mask rules. raymond arroyo has it all in "seen and unseen." first, teaching against america. that is the focus of tonight's angle. mr. markowitz, 8th grade algebra. mrs. kavalisky 11th grade russian. ms. joba, mrs. vartulli, mrs. martin, mr. bukis. these were some of the outstanding teachers i had whilo in the public schools in glastonbury, connecticut. i feel so grateful. a couple times a week at least i feel so blessed to have been taught by them anda to have gotten to know them. these were men and women who took their jobs very seriously. they were tough but fair. they were rigorous but also acceptable.s middle-class families like mine made up i think most of the student body. the rich kids, they had for the most part no reason to go to private school since the public schools were so great. the town's board of education back then was pretty responsive to the concerns of taxpaying parents and the pta was well-run and generally very well respected.s i don't recall ever hearing my teachers talk about politics let alone pushing their opinions on us.he boy, have things changed. today lead by radicals running the nea and the aft, too manye teachers either don't want to be in the classroom at all or when they are in the classroom, they are advancing poisonous views about our founding, our history, and traditional family values. increasingly critical race theory infects not only the teaching of american history but the core disciplines. even math and science. and how they are taught. >> great stuff going on with our social studies curriculum. we want to talk about all the things. create an antiracist school system, we have to look at it systemically. >> put it all up there. let's uproot systemic racism. >> antiracism work has to begin by holding up a mirror and taking a look at your own biases. >> laura: more parents are coming to recognize that this far left ideology is itself racist. i'll say it again. is itself racist. as it maintains that all white people are guilty, privilege and harbor unconscious bias at the very least. even ifri you don't have childrn in public schools, they should matter to you. your tax dollars keep theol ligs on and the teachers paid. we spend on average nearly $13,000 per pupil in the public school system annually. that's according to the census bureau. but most busy parents, they don't know that they are also c paying the salaries of school board members like insufferable left-wing blowhard philip reitinger. >> i feel the need to help change our course and help do more for inclusivity. we need to reform curriculum. we need to pursue, as we are a diversity, equity, and inclusion policy for our schools that unites us and specifies further action. >> laura: the only further action needed is to run that guy off the school board. i wouldn't rely on him to change my tire, let alone change my kids curriculum. are you kidding? think about how sick this is. children have been learning at home for now almost a year in places like falls church. what these educrats obsess about is trump and how racist and rotten america is. where is the market for this? i don't believe there's a community anywhere in the entire country outside of maybe washington, d.c., new york, l.a., where the parents are saying well, we hate this country and we want you teachers to teach our kids to hate this country too. radical teachers and consultants, they not only don't listen to parents who raise objections, they viciously attacked them. courtesy of the daily wire, we learned that in loudoun county virginia, they actually created a blacklist. i thought you couldn't say that anymore. of parents who oppose critical race theory. members of the antiracist facebook group sprang into action lifting dozens of parents often including where they live their employers or their spouses names.s. avoiding these people isn't enough to stop the spread of their evil rhetoric.th again, the language of punishment is what they use. remember, these are the people molding your children in their formative years.y hillary holtman lee, the former teacher of potomac falls high school and now a paid education consultant for the school district, is spending her time plotting against district parents. regarding the anti-crt movement critical race theory movement we would like to compile a document of all known actors and supporters. please comment below with legal names of these individuals, area of residence, and/or school board rep, known accounts of social media and any other info you feel is relevant. every single one of these teachers and consultants should be terminated immediately. defaming those who pay our salaries? threatening to dock them? i have a question, can any other employees get away with doing that to their customers? parents have to do more than just post on social media and talk amongst themselves about all of it. they must start to form mass movements to take back our education system. demand hearings on the state and federal level. don't just show up at school board meetings. run for school board. any school that is teaching our kids to hate america should be denied funding, period. you want to know who gets this? ron desantis gets it. >> florida civics curriculum will incorporate foundational concepts with the best materials, and it will expressly exclude unsanctioned narratives. let me be clear. there is no room in our classrooms for things like critical race theory. teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money. >> laura: bravo. can you imagine if there was a public school somewhere in the country where kids were taught not to blame the south for the civil war or that giving women the right to vote was a mistake. everyone would rightly demand an immediate stop to this. i know. many conservatives, you're watching and saying just forget about the public schools. push for vouchers. we love vouchers and the fight for vouchers but that's a mistake. on too manye. occasions, we have just picked up and left major institutions. that resulted in moving them further to the left. case in point: conservatives are an endangered species in ourhe university. look what that's accomplished. anyone over the age of about 35 maybe 30, they know that you can have public schools in america where people can get a good education, minus the political indoctrination. we had nonideological public schools for most of our history. massachusetts native horace mann is considered the father of public education in this country. he believed that public schools were essential to preserving our republic. it e was in 1841 that he wrote "forts, arsenals, garrisons armies, and navies are means of security and defense. but schoolhouses are the republican line of fortification. if they are dismantled ignorance and vice will pour in their legions through every breach." while the left is already far along in the dismantlement and until we mobilize, take back the school boards, we will continue to see the vice and the ignorance pouring out. and that's "the angle." driving me is rebecca friedrichs, she was in elementary school teacher and members of the teachers union in california for 28 years. rebecca, seems that the critical race theory is the latest in a long line of vehicles teachers school board members consultants are using to turnms children against their parents. >> you are precisely right. the reason it's the latest is because when the unions, they call themselves teachers and unions but they are not. they are radical leftist activists who infiltrated the teaching profession. ever since they showed up, years and years ago, they have been pushing other horribleha things like critical race theory into our classrooms. they are indoctrinating our children and they are doing it intentionally because as that wonderful quote you just read by horace mann, it shows us the only way to keep a free republic is with a well educated and moral citizenry that can selflf govern. our founders set our schools up so that our children can learn well and so they can be good people. our schools were run by parents and communities and good teachers. by the way, people of high integrity and divisive, racial ideology wasn't part of it at all. that is marxist ideology communist socialist ideology that these unions are intentionally pushing into our schools in order to undermineis our republic. t it's a crisis. you're right that parents need to stand up. they need to stand with good teachers and stand against these unions and kick them out of our school so we can restore our schools back to what they used it to be. >> laura: the reason i started "the angle" with pictures of some of my old teachers. i had dozens and dozens of them. so many phenomenal educators. we respect and love individuals who are devoted to teaching. teaching the essentials. the beautiful transmission of information, our historyti literature, how to write, how to think. but not how to think politically. that's what's changed in our was in for the time i public schools and loved my schools and teachers to today. i think you're right. there are great teachers out there who feel trapped, they are trapped in the system. the parents, they feel like if they say anything they are going to now be doxxed or they are going to be called racist. so the parents feel trapped. t t the only people who feel empowered are the blowhards on the school board, like philip who i mentioned earlier. he is 1 of thousands across the country. >> yeah, and he's empowered because the teachers unions put him in his position. anyone who is a union activist or has been put in their job or on the school board by the unions, they are empowered. these activist quote teachers bullying parents, doxxing parents and targeting them, they are not teachers. they are radical leftists who i agree should be fired immediately. what's happened is the dedicated teachers like myself, there are millions of them. they are trapped in a corrupt system. they have been bullied literally, laura, for about 60 years. teachers like myself have been bullied because the unions use mafia tactics to shut teachers up and so we all all have to stand together.to >> laura: we support those good teachers. i mentioned in my angle loudoun county teachers blacklisting parents. andrea weiskopf, teacher in seneca ridge middle school named of a father who criticized crt. "an educator in a system of oppression is either a revolutionary or an oppressor." rebecca. a teacher calling herself a revolutionary? well, maybe finally that teacher is telling the truth. she is a revolutionary. >> exactly. what she's done is she has shined a light on what these unions are really doing. she is not a teacher and shame on her. she should not be attacking a parent. that parent, good for him. keep standing up. who cares if they say nasty things about you. keep standing up. what the unions do and people can find this. we have a section on our website for kids in country.org and it's called union politics. spend 30 minutes reading with these unions actually passed. they passed a resolution to actually boycott businesses that dare to not support their black lives matter or whatever the union is pushing. >> laura: everyone can go to the website. people have to understand what this is all about. this is about shutting down debate and totally remaking america, period. demonizing the founders, the declaration, the constitution on down. and the teachers unions are behind it. soros gets a lot of these people elected supporting some of these local racesnd as well. rebecca, you have shined the light on this. thank you so much. feelings on critical race theory shouldn't be controversial but to do so is not considered racist. growing up in detroit andca boston, dr. ben carson experienced prejudice and racism personally. it's why even he speaks about the new institutional racism against black conservatives. when he does so, everyone should listen.ti >> it's not anything that's any different than many, many years ago during slavery. if you ran away, you got caught. they didn't just kill you. they brought you back iny, and they tormented you in front of everybody else. so that they would get the lesson. do not run away. >> laura: wow, dr. ben carson former hud secretary, founder of the american cornerstone institute joins me. wow, dr. carson, that was chilling. but you told the truth. it gets you slandered. explain why you needed to say it that way. >> it is a chilling thing that people actually think it's okay on the left side to characterize someone on the basis of their skin color. of external characteristics. as a neurosurgeon, obviously i spent a lot of time working on people's brains. once i got insides. that skull,i couldn't tell whether you are black or white or yellow or red. the brain is the same. and the brain is the thing that makes you who you are. why should we be so superficial? you know, animals have a tendency to look at external characteristics and react to those. because they don't have the intellectual ability to analyze deeper than that. but we do have that ability and we really need to stop it. i think one of the reasons that so many people who are afraid of the previous president is because he was actually, you know, not just saying words. he was actually doing things that really made a difference in the minority community. they're not stupid. they were seeing what was happening. >> laura: seeing results. democrats have rhetoric and demonization but they have nothing to show for it. by the way, i t don't know if yu saw this, but your old pal reverend al sharpton had some choice words to say about you, dr. carson. >> sworn in as secretary of housing and urban development this week. she will have to lead an agency where the morale amongst civil servants has plummeted under the leadership of ben carson, who weakened fair housing enforcement and other civil rightshe protections during the trump administration. >> laura: dr. carson his criticism of your policies goes right to race, your response. >> it does go right to race. it's almost as if he's reading off a script and they all say the same kinds of things. they don't actually look at what was done, at the progress that was made in moving people toward self-sufficiency. that's what we really should be thinking about. our definition of success was how many people we got out of those programs of dependency and moved them in the right direction. you know, wem just need to sort of get beyond this third grade let's criticize whoever it was and let's build upon what each other does. the american people are not each other's enemies. we have to stop allowing ourselves to be manipulated into thinking that. that's one of the reasons for the american cornerstone institute so that we can actually deal with the facts not with the rhetoric, not with the ideology. let's put the facts on the table and then let's determine what the problems are and let's work together to solve them. if we do that, it can still be e pluribus unum. out of many, one. instead of tearing everything apart. >> laura: fantastic. dr. carson, wonderful to see you. thank you so much. former san antonio mayor and obama cabinet memberic julian castro has a new conspiracy. the border unions are behind the crisis on the border. stephen miller is here to respond next. stephen miller is e my retirement plan with voya keeps me moving forward. they guide me with achievable steps that give me confidence. this is my granddaughter...she's cute like her grandpa. voya doesn't just help me get to retirement... ...they're with me all the way through it. voya. be confident to and through retirement. it's moving day. and while her friends are doing the heavy lifting, jess is busy moving her xfinity internet and tv services. it only takes about a minute. wait, a minute? but what have you been doing for the last two hours? ...delegating? oh, good one. move your xfinity services without breaking a sweat. xfinity makes moving easy. go online to transfer your services in about a minute. get started today. >> laura: back in september 2019 then candidate joe biden gave us a glimpse at how he would manage the southern border. >> what i would do as president is several more things. because things have changed. i would in fact make sure that there is, all those people seeking asylum deserve to be heard. that's who we are. we are a nation that said if you want to flee and you are playing oppression, you should come. >> laura: despite the words you just heard biden say, he's adamant that his rhetoric has nothing at all to do with the current crisis. in fact, the biden administration has blamed everything from crafty coyotes to hurricanes to the previous president. now democrats are cracking out a new tinfoil conspiracy and blaming the men and women defending our borders. according to the daily independent, former julian castro said he wouldn't be surprised if the border patrol t union was colluding. there it goes again, colluding with republicans to undermine biden because trump encourage their worst instincts and fostered a culture of anti-immigrant sentiment. joining us now is hector garza national border patrol council president and stephen miller, former white house senior advisor to president trump. hector, it's like blaming, i don't know, the fire department after you set fire to your own house. it's their fault. it's the fire department's fault for trying to put out the fire. your response to castro tonight. >> this is just one more example of the hypocrisy of the liberal media pushing castro's agenda and allowing castro to make baseless allegations without providing any type of proof. it doesn't give -- we do not dictate policy with any administration. under president trump, we had great dialogue and we did get advice from president trump on border security issues. >> laura: here's what i say we have a massive humanitarian security, health, and economic crisis all wrapped into one. at the border.r. what's the most shocking aspect of what t you're seeing tonightn the border from what you're reading and reporting? >> the most shocking thing, laura, talking to all of my sources at the department of homeland security, border patrol and i.c.e. are releasing the vast majority, virtually all in fact, minors traveling alone and they are releasing the vast majority of adults traveling with children across the border. you have border agents that are being instructed to literally drive busloads of illegal immigrants and release them into communities. others by the thousands are being sent to i.c.e. not for being removed from the country but to be put on what's called adt. that stands for alternative to detention. that means they are going out into the community.e they are just going to be released, never to be heard or seen from again. that is functionally by any definition open borders. that's a health crisis. it's an economic crisis. it's a public safety crisis. and today when mayorkas pretended his policies weren't responsible for the crisis it was a shameful live. >> laura: we are going to get to that comment. >> the border is secure and the border is not open. we are not expelling children who arrive unaccompanied without a parent or legal guardian, and we are caring for their custody and their sheltering. >> laura: hector, he is once again encouraging parents to send the kids on this dangerous journey to our southern border. a lot of the parents are probably in mexico or waiting themselves to walk across the border or to float across the border and then to join their children here.se isn't this just encouraging a huge stream of multiple family members coming across the border? given what he said? >> unfortunately i would have to disagree with secretary mayorkas. we do have an open border and we do not have a secure border. in mcallen, texas, we have something that's known as a temporary outdoor processing site. w that's basically turned into an illegal entry, port of entry where we are processing thousands of family units hundreds and thousands of unaccompanied children and we are releasing them into the united states. what's more frustrating is that this crisis is very preventable. it's all do because of that changes in policies under the biden administration. they got rid of the migrant protection protocols. they got rid of the fact that minors do not qualify for title 42 removal and because of those policies, we are seeing human suffering on the border and we are frustrated. it's definitely a crisis. those policies need to change. >> laura: everyone has to understand that the men and women who are left to clean up this mess and try to deal with the mass wave of humanity coming into the country are being demonized by the democrats led by julian castro. he is demonizing law enforcement at our border, border enforcement. stephen, they claim to support enforcement, law enforcementor officers, public servants. no, they don't.up they only praise them when they are carrying out their open borders agenda. but stephen, i have to ask you one question. i'm very passionate about this everyone knows. stephen, the idea that they are not allowing cameras or even some republicans access republican officeholders, access to these facilities, what does that tell you about what's going on inside? >> it tells you that what is going on and this is what all of my sources are saying, it's so much worse than anybody realizes. the volume of people arriving the conditions, the crowding the unsanitary nature of how they're being kept because of t the coronavirus and the number that are being released, it's exponentially worse than anybody realizes all because of biden's policies. one more thing, laura. every reporter in america should be asking the biden administration, how many criminals have been released by i.c.e. because of the memo shutting down i.c.e. enforcement. my sources tell me that most interior removal of criminals has stopped. that means dangerous people felons, misdemeanor convicts, gang members are back on the street. reporters need to get to the bottom of it. the american people have a right to know. >> laura: american victims are just collateral damage of the road to open borders. gentlemen, thank you so much. the biden administration struggling to follow its own covid policies in biden's latest bitegate. raymond arroyo is next. hey, i just got a text from my sister. you remember rick, her neighbor? "comfort ye, comfort my people." when i come here and i sit with lilia i realize what she needs right now is food. these elderly jews are weak and they're sick. they're living on $2 a day this now, is how god's children are living. take this time to send a survival food box to these forgotten jews. the international fellowship of christians and jews urgently need your gift of $25 now to help provide one survival food box with all of the essentials they critically need for their diet for one month. your special holiday gift will provide everything they need to celebrate the holy season of passover. do you remember matza? this is the first time in over 70 years .. and now we're coming to her and saying, "it's okay to have faith." for just $25, you can help supply the essential foods they desperately need for one month. i just want to encourage all of you to join with yael eckstein and the wonderful work of the international fellowship of christians and jews. god tells us to take care of them, to feed the hungry. and i pray holocaust survivors will be given the basic needs that they so desperately pray for to survive. >> laura: let's set the scene. st. paddy's day 11 years ago and an irish vice president showing some -- some things never change. >> mom lived in long island for ten years or so. god rest her soul. although -- wait, your mom is still alive. your dad passed. god bless her soul. [laughter] i've got to get this straight. >> laura: why bother? that's all the time we have tonight. shannon bream and the "fox news @ night" team take it all from here. shannon. >> shannon: the save was there. everyone ends up laughing. it ends up the best possible way it could. we've all shannon: the safe was there. ended up laughing. that is the best possible way it could. we've all had a cringe worthy mistake. breaking tonight, open police make a second arrest in the murder of a 75-year-old asian american man, albert
