home deaths are much higher than previously thought. this team battles nursing home patient who died from covid-19 in new york state according to the associated press, that is up from 8500, a 40% jump. the governor made comments about higher totals during democrat leaders, explain the actual numbers, trump directs the department of justice to do an investigation and basically we froze, were not sure what to give to the department of justice or what we give to you guys, make sure there's an investigation, that played a large role into this was the revelation loved calls to swift action, information operations. both countries include iran, saudi arabia, turkey, cuba and more. twitter's expanded policy would label these personal accounts with heads of state meaning the personal shows voters, the immigration and energy agenda the most. todd: a strategist, john thomas, great to see you. here are the numbers, executive orders and actions signed by president biden, it will take time to get that ticker up. we mentioned immigration, i will start with immigration. look at these numbers, 48%, 42% of those including undocumented immigrants in the census, 31% oppose the remain in mexico policy, 38% oppose the border wall. what do those numbers tell you? >> the first executive order is vastly unpopular with the american people and is a major mistake by the biden administration. not only is it unpopular with all-americans but digging into key subgroups it is upside down with independents, the key group joe biden says he can appeal to but has to hold onto. it is a massive mistake with this kind of executive order when it is so unpopular. jillian: let's talk about opposition of executive order specifically on energy right now, 38%, as you can see oppose canceling the keystone pipeline, 34% oppose oil and gas leasing on public lands. this is such a talker. carley shimkus is in arkansas a couple days ago. keystone pipeline workers devastated because they don't know how they will feed their families or pay their mortgage or send their kids to school. where is this going? >> dangerous for the biden administration because it is bigger than a pipeline at a time when americans are feeling and desperately need jobs, everything the biden administration should be doing should be to the ones of what can i do to help americans either keep their jobs or get a job and to be signed into orders especially when biden didn't campaign on this is a slippery slope. we are seeing the biden administration being more liberal and progressive in their agenda than barack obama's entire administration. todd: the $15 minimum wage is a flop with swing voters. is that business owner who is trying to support a family, working 16 hour days, doesn't care what we talk about every day, politics, they don't care what happens in washington but focus on day today lives and the $15 minimum wage comes and changes their daily lives. is that right? >> that is true. it is not statistically, it does illuminate this trend which is the minimum wage hurts small businesses and small business owners the most at a time small businesses are really because of these forced shutdowns particularly in rural states. interesting to see americans seem to get that and also seem to understand small business owners get it. it speeds up automation. actually kill jobs. it is a job through for andrew cuomo to be removed from office after the new york post reports one of his aides admitted to covering of data on nursing home deaths. todd: 15,000 nursing home patients have died of covid-19 new york state up from 8500 previously reported. jillian: secretary to the governor made comments about higher total during a video call while trying to explain why the actual numbers helped. todd: janice seen lost both of her in-laws to the pandemic last year and joined us to react. there have been a few bombshell sitting cuomo on this recently. is this the most damning? >> this is the most damning because someone admitted it and reported it and it looks like they covered it up the whole time and the fact they had a closed-door meeting with democratic lawmakers to apologize to them instead of the people who don't have their loved ones today is just icing on the cake. jillian: how emotional was it when you heard this news? >> janice: emotional. i didn't think i could be more surprise than a couple weeks ago with the ag report in new york where she went ahead and investigated the governor into nursing home numbers which we all do -- new were undercounted. they were reporting over 6000 for many months and now we are up to 15,000. another part of that bombshell is over 9000 infected patients were put into nursing homes and they tried to dismiss that as the cause of the elder that we lost in nursing homes in the spring, so the fact they have admitted this, my hat is off to the leaker. and doing heroic work, and that is why i am so vocal. first step into in-laws. todd: what does it tell you about the people involved, the instinct in terms of an apology was to the democratic lawmakers who could be potentially hurt by this revelation? when there are people who never see family members of her again but are worried about a state senator in on my right? >> look at this governor's track record, his leadership, his emmy award. only himself and his administration. we never got an apology for any remorse from this governor. i believe he should be in jail. jillian: i was going to say what do you think should happen? court of law, full investigation, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and jail time. thank you. todd: 30 minutes after the hour. the southern border saw a spike of illegal border crossings raising concerns asylum systems could be overwhelmed during the pandemic. joining me to react, arizona sheriff mark daniels and texas sheriff harold evanson. thanks to both of you for being here. first question to you, how much tougher and dangerous is this tough and dangerous job if this is the case? >> the best answer i can give is the oldest and simplest justification for government is as protector protecting the citizens from violence. we had as much control on our border in the recent past than we had in a long time and opening the border backup is only going to create the problems we had to deal with previous the past administration. todd: border patrol apprehensions and expulsions spiked in january. a little less then 5000. this next graphic is most telling, record border arrests year on year, look at last year under the trump administration that 31,000 range and this year as the trump administration is winding down, as biden took over, 78,000. how worried are you for local border communities and eventually the rest of the country? >> i will just say that. we are playing a political losing game on the southern border with the american people. reversing the orders of donald trump is done based on good programs or because donald trump put them in place. it is counterproductive with negative consequences on the southern border. what happens on our border is in their backyard. the criminal cartels that destroy their evil enterprise on the backs of americans. todd: the biden administration heading up a tent city to handle the influx of illegal immigrants. is it just a matter of time before biden has a real and sort of exponentially increasing border patrol crisis in his hands? >> it is. the messaging scares me, not based on facts but political whims, the fact that the message of those who want to enter the country is wide open again. we have done some amazing work on the southern border, watching it, a slippery slope, watching it every day decisions made. todd: can you see biden going back to the border policies of the past four years even though there is a trump label on them? >> it appears that is what he is about to do. the increase will get bigger and bigger, puts strain on the infrastructure of border sheriffs when they have to handle criminal violations committed by the illegals coming into the country that affects their -- damages the infrastructure they have in place. todd: appreciate your insight on this. you guys are on the ground doing the work. jillian: the rnc jumping to the question of recalling gavin newsom. the committee investing 250,$000 to boost the effort by digital and texting programs, able to receive a link. 1.4 million signatures gathering for 100,000 still needed to force a recall election. california >> well, i've been elected twice as state treasurer of ohio and i have behind me this army of trump warriors and conservative activists. we have 88 counties in the state of ohio. in every corner of the state we have this army of trump warriors as i was mentioningism going to washington to advance trump america first agenda. i'm also going there to stand up for economic freedom and individual liberty. i believe individual liberties are being trampled on by governors all over the country. here in ohio, our republican governor unfortunately, governor dewine and amy acton who is the fauci of ohio, they shut down the small businesses, shut down the schools. in my mind it's not right. it's time we put our kids back to school. it's time we reopened these family owned small businesses and restaurants and one of the things here in ohio that really got under my skin is the governor and the health director, they allowed target to stay open, allowed costco and walmart to stay open but they shut down the family owned small businesses, the family owned restaurants and in essence they screwed the little guy and i'm going to washington to stand up for the working people and to stand against these big conglomerates who are trying to stick it to the working man and woman. on top of that, it is insane that our of kids are not back at school. this big hand of government, these power hungry politicians, power hungry bureaucrats and teachers unions still have some of these schools closed and it's not good for kids. in my mind, what they're doing is all about power for the politicians, and not what's good for the kids and when it comes to education and just the freedom of families, moms and dads should be making the decision when their kids go back to school, not politicians and faithless bureaucrats. so going to washington and standing up for personal freedoms, individual liberties and the power of families to make decisions is what my campaign is about. todd: we'll be watching the race very closely. it's a very important senate race for the republicans and the senate in total. have a good weekend. >> always good to be on. thanks, guys. todd: download the fox news app, it is there, qr code on your screen. jillian: set your dvr4:00 a.m. every morning so you don't miss a minute. .>> andrew cuomo has been caugt in a nursing home coverup. >> his top aide admitted they were hiding data. >> it's the biggest bombshell so far. >> why should they be satisfied with one day a week in person schools. >> i wouldn't be. >> the president wants schools to open safely. >> the house managers wrapped up with very little hard evidence. >> the leaders of the effort to recall gavin newsom says they have reached the entire threshold of 1.5 million
