Well be there for about eight hours to conduct the france sick examination. Well have the results in 48 hours. That will tell us a lot about these machines. Will yeah, that is, certainly Significant Development and what are the types and number of legal challenges is the team bringing now . Can be confusing if you watch how it is developing. The hope to get something to the Supreme Court from your view. What are the legal challenges right now . Of course ultimately the Supreme Court probably should hear at least one if not more of these cases but really the challenge right now is the State Legislatures. So where mayor giuliani and i have gone to pennsylvania, arizona, michigan, georgia, over the last two weeks to ask the State Legislatures to get involved because they are the entities with the Constitutional Authority to regulate how the delegates are actually selected to the electoral college. If the State Legislatures actually do their job and they are willing to step in and not certify these false results, no, no, were going to take back our power under the constitution and make sure that we dont allow corruption to rein, we dont even need a court order. Initially when we put forward the lawsuits it was to try to stop the certification of the false results. Were still collecting evidence. Were still collecting evidence. We have the video came out of georgia this last week. It was the night before our hearing. We finally got a copy of that. Were looking into the dominion vote machines with the new forensic examination. I mean if you look at the 18th through the 24th, the week before thanksgiving and lockdown that we had to endure, we did about 11,000. Friday, even numbers last night, we did 2500. You know, so, i mean, i cant even pay my Kitchen Staff with that. So, whats to come you know, what is going to happen . They said three weeks, but christmas happened. There is another surge. Well be into january and february before were probably ever going to really get to open up again. It is just scary. Without help, you know, still got to help department fees, Liquor License fees and fee. Pay your electric bill. Pay everything to keep the place going. If youre only bringing in 2500 a week, you know, i dont even know you know, how on this. You know . Will so much focus on restaurant and bar owners. Since the beginning of this covid and lockdowns and such we lost probably 65 to 70 of our revenue and members and so on. This coming lockdown will pretty much put us out. Will h. People trying to stop the coronavirus as best we can to be responsible. How do we reconcile in places like california, some of the strictest measures, whether shutdowns or masks were seeing numbers surge, so were going back to the same solutions that dont seem to be working . Yeah. Well as an assembly member, not into congress myself, you know, yes exactly. Weve seen restrictive measures out here and we still see the same spikes were seeing across the country. It shows the shutdowns really dont have the effect a lot of politicians want to say that they have. Really the only consistency of our governor out here has been his inconsistency. When you combine that with hypocrisy it completes, creates a complete lack of trust in our constituency out here. I for one have been really fighting for our Small Businesses, people like alex you know who, first generation immigrant. This has been the American Dream for him. And their businesses have been destroyed, really for no good reason. And so that what weve been fighting against this governors overreach. I have encouraged many of these businesses to just stay open. Yeah, this president in his form is doing these rallies and last night he came to georgia and brought the truth of the fact these two senate races are so important in the future of america. This is not just now just two senate races in georgia. This is actually about changing the direction of the United States senate and putting it in the hands of Chuck Schumer and an agenda that is so radical left that we cannot allow this to happen and the president made it very clear last night, in everything thats going on he set the stage and said no matter what you may feel about the election and how the controversies have been going on he made it very clear, david perdue and Kelly Loeffler need to be elected because john ossoff and Raphael Warnock would take this country down a path thats too far extreme and left and he was in good form last night. In other words, theres some doubt out there about the trust in the system the Voting System and as you can hear there some frustration with governor brian kemp, the secretary of state as well but also recognition of how important these two senatorial races are, so, the broad question is what should georgians think about the entire state of these messages and what they should be doing and pointedly, are you interested in run r fog governor i appreciate the president hes a good friend the only political decision im looking at right now is helping david perdue and Kelly Loeffler get elected and i dont think theres two messages here and two conflicting messages. Its an anomaly to actually say that you have to decide and make sure that our elections have the integrity they need that everybody show up and everybody vote and at the same time, make sure that everybody does show up and vote for Kelly Loeffler and david perdue. Those are not conflicting messages. Those are honest messages. Remember weve just i just dealt with four years of the Democratic Party that to this day still never recognized donald trump as the president. The Hashtag Notmypresident , all of the investigations, and this president was never accepted and the election was never accepted a few years ago. Why dont we allow a little bit of time to go through where the president can have his legal challenges and make sure the elections are safe, secure, and every legal vote is counted especially here in georgia, as we have two Election Races coming up for Kelly Loeffler and david perdue but again, i think the president just making the clear point that we can do more than one thing at a time. We can make sure our elections are safe while at the same time ensuring the senate does not go to the radical left. Jedediah congressman, lets talk covid19 relief. Nancy pelosi now coming out saying that shes okay with a smaller bill, the timing of that obviously terribly interesting and highly political. Bernie sanders now saying though a new 900 billion bipartisan proposal should not pass. Lets take a listen to Bernie Sanders and then well get your reaction. We need direct payment, let us be clear, what we have right now are people suffering in a way economically that weve not seen since the great depression. What the American People want, they understand that in the midst of this crisis, through no fault of their own, because of their pandemic, the economy is in shambles. The fact that we are not address ing the economic crisis of tens of millions of people in this bill and they were giving large corporations Carte Blanche to ignore the safety needs of their workers tells me that this is not a bill that should be passed jedediah so the truth is here that while politicians are arguing about it, people are just out there needing help. Where does this land, when does the help arrive . Well thats a great question , but you know, look. There will be no bill acceptable to Bernie Sanders, if it wasnt a government takeover of our economy so lets just be honest about that and put him to the side and then look in the dictionary of political hypocrisy be nancy pelosi, the speaker who all through the fall would never come to the table and discuss getting relief before the election, and then miraculously now that she believes joe biden won the election and vaccine is around the corner okay ill look at Something Different. That is despicable. What the speaker said the other day in not playing politics and now playing politics, there are people out there who are hurting right now. We wanted to see relief, target our businesses and those communities that need this help and the president last night spoke about this in the rally when he said he wants to see this relief happen. Speaker pelosi should be ashamed of herself for actually now showing what weve known all along and that is that this is a political decision for her, that shes been saying the only thing i get from Speaker Pelosi is now she just admitted what weve known all along. That should really tell us all something, but if youre so worried about kids spreading covid have parents produce a negative test every week, or every some length of time, but theyre not doing that and what theyre doing instead is testing these kids without their wants present and thats going to lead to problems for them i can imagine a 5yearold freaking out not wanting to take the test and if that kid has to switch to Remote Learning because they didnt want a stranger sticking a stick up their nose, thats going to have some issues. You could have the parents at dropoff watch their kid get tested outside, you know, in the courtyard or wherever the kids come into the building. This is not impossible. Apparently an independent School District is considering scrap ping this semesters final exam, theres a particular exam called the acp, an end of semester exam. Its weighed about 1015 of the students grade so its a pretty strong weight there, so and theyre considering this because they are saying based on whats happened with covid is this really a fair assessment, four teachers, four students whats your take . Well dropping the exam wont mean that the kids arent fail ing it just means nobody will find out so this is a way to cover for bad teachers and in effective teachers and to not see the full picture of what our Education System this year has looked like. Any year can have its challenges and obviously, this is an unusual one, but for all experiencing the challenges why cant the test be graded on that basis, on the idea that yeah, everybody is having a really tough year, and lets see what these kids learned and lets test them on that. Im absolutely for testing on every level because i want to see where the kids ended up this year and i want to see exactly what happened in our educational system this year and how our kids were affected by it jedediah yeah, testing like this would absolutely expose some problems that may have emerged with respect to the distance learning, and even if you are pose like i dont like these final exams because oftentimes i think they carry too much weight, 15 , 20 sometimes its a lot for one test but you have to figure out then an alternate way to assess these students because people need to know what the impact of this is for future reference, and if anything like this happens again, what is the impact of this on children. Absolutely, yeah, we could have the conversation about whether testing is graded too heavily, et cetera, but just take it away because we dont want people to fail this year, or because we dont want to see that people failed this year , that makes no sense to me. Ive been very clear that im totally committed to public safety. Weve developed a safety plan for how we can conduct our services, that has been scientifically proven to work, 1 million masses were studied over a 14week period following the Safety Protocols because theyre using them all throughout the country in catholic communities and they could not find one outbreak of infections traceable to a celebration of the mass, so we have the science to back us up that we can do this safely, and weve been advocating and agitating for fair treatment because even though were in a more severe lockdown, Department Stores are able to operate. Theyve reduced it from 25 to 20 but they are still able to operate and people can spend two or three hours in a department store, shopping around the employees are in there all day long, we can keep our services to an hour, and the people are stationary. I accept that the government has the authority, indeed the responsibility, to tell faith communities, like everyone else, what they have to do to protect public health, but those regulations cannot be so severe as to infect ban public worship, so, they might say on the other side, were allowed to worship outdoors but the weather is starting to get cold even here in california, the wind is kicking up, its becoming more difficult to worship outside, and its always more difficult to worship outside, so in effect theyre banning public worship, and the government has no authority to do that. Reasonable safety precautions, we have them developed. Weve added in San Francisco, they have faith communities to submit a safety plan, back in may. We submitted ours, other faith communities submitted theres as well and in the meantime, store owners submitted operation plans for safety. They got approved and they went back into operation, but we still havent heard back on our safety plans for our churches, so the lines are the government can tell us what we need to do to protect public health, just like they do when we build a church, right . We build it to building codes and they inspect to make sure were conforming to building codes to safety, panic bars, lighted exit signs and all that but they dont tell us how to range our worship space, so the same thing here. They can tell us what we have to do to keep people safe but they cant tell us in effect not to worship so we continue to agitate. We do have an online petition that started months ago. Youve got a problem where people dont know now entirely whats true and whats not. Thats dangerous for our democracy. I dont think that thats going to be solved just by a new president. Maria i have my own thoughts on what president obama had to say there i think the media largely came from one point of view singularly for half a century and president obama seems to be pining for those days when there was really just one point of view, everyone heard from. What are your thoughts . Maria yeah, i mean, i agree with that, pete. Part of the issue is what took place in 2016, and this sort of is the cornerstone to the disagreement. I mean, ive reported on really so deeply about how the intelligence agencies were weaponized against the incoming president and for me, that was topic a. That was the biggest story id ever seen. The fact that the president s critics were able to turn the intelligence agency, the infrastructure of the Intelligence Community against a sitting president and because of that, i was very, you know, motivated to seek out truth and tell the truth about what took place. A lot of us were. You guys did it on fox friends as well a number of our colleagues did it. A big portion of the media refused to accept it. They did not like the fact that they were 100 wrong for two and a half, three years, they went on the air and they said that President Trump colluded with russia, and it became this massive story and took the wind out of sales for three years that the media was going crazy, reporting on this , and i felt the need to constantly come back and say wait a minute this is what we learned on Sunday Morning futures and this is what we learned when we talked to the congressman that actually saw the redacted documents and this is what we learn when we heard from witness testimony and that was up against the brick wall for a long time, and i think thats part of what took place, that the critics of President Trump were trying to take him down so aggressively with lies, with leaks, with the intelligence infrastructure of the u. S. Government turning against him. I mean, newspapers got Pulitzer Prizes for their reporting and the Washington Post and the New York Times have still yet to have any, oh, im sorry there was no russia collusion, no maya culpas whatsoevernd i think thats part of what took place with the media not to mention the fact that the media never accepted donald trump, hated him from the beginning and really had a heart time reporting truth around President Trump. I mean, when you talk about look , we dont know whats true what isnt, you have to say that were part of that as well. Its a different, its a different narrative here than youre going to get on cnn, a completely different narrative. Im trying to seek out the truth , and im trying to understand what took place in terms of this russia collusion nonsense. Ive been doing that for three years. A lot of people in the media just refuse to accept it and refuse to admit that they were long, and so i think that is part of what took place that president obama is talking about , and by the way it was president obamas team and his intelligence agencies, that aggressively worked against President Trump, including during whats supposed to be a peaceful transition back in 2017 were going to talk about that this morning and the former congressman who was among the people who sniped out the wrongdoing, John Ratcliffe now obviously the sitting director of National Intelligence and hes going to weigh in on all of this including what we know in terms of election interference, what we know from foreign actors and of course, the big cahoona of all and that is china and the threat that china represents to the United States, he says if theres one nation state that is able to kill the American Dream, its china, so were going to talk about that as well this morning. So youve got saints and falcons how much longer is drew bruce going to come back at some point , how long do we get to go with the experiment . Well brees could come back as early as next week, but hill has been more than a backup for him and the saints team is used to playing out drew brees, so look, they are 4 and 0 in the nfc south they get another nfc south today and the falcons playing good football since firing dan quinn and im not about firing coaches , but they are 4 and 2 since firing dan quinn and they get julio jones and todd gurley back so this game will be closer than most people think. Will another big one i think is the cardinals and rams because the nfc west is fascinating and murray is going to do something super cool wearing his cleats to honor his grandfather, a purple heart recipient.
