Former Nemacolin employee sues resort after bear attack
A former employee of the Nemacolin Resort is suing the resort for negligence.
Megan Alborg, 24, said she was assigned to lead tours of the Wildlife Adventure. According to the lawsuit, part of her job on the tours was to perform a trick with a Himalayan bear. Sign up for our Newsletters
Alborg would hold a marshmallow in one hand, and a bear would give her a “high five” in the other hand. The bear would then be fed the marshmallow as a reward for performing the trick.
