Brunswick — The Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association has recently partnered with Maegan Monsees, the Freeport artist behind Mae in Maine, to offer a Fishermen’s Association rope gathering bucket with a distinct color and MCFA cork tag. MCFA is a nonprofit that works to enhance the sustainability of Maine’s fisheries by advocating for the needs of community-based fishermen and the environmental restoration of the Gulf of Maine. They work in many areas including the promotion of healthy working waterfronts, supporting the next generation of fishermen, and providing fresh fish to those in need in their communities through their Fishermen Feeding Mainers program, Online retail sales of products like Mae in Maine’s Evergreen Gathering Bucket, along with apparel and other gifts, directly benefit MCFA’s programs. Mae in Maine’s is their most recent product collaboration.
