Trading Standards and Cheshire Police discovered the haul at an address on Irwell Street in Widnes in October 2019. Pictures released by Halton Borough Council showed the explosive devices being stored within a fireplace at the property. Occupant Luke Moore was found guilty of three offences under Explosives Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, April 9, in connection with the find.
