A Norwegian tourist, Noe Finn Vetle, jumped from a hotel balcony in Jaipur during Janmashtami celebrations. He mistook the firecrackers for gunfire due to being under the influence of 'bhang'. The police received reports of a foreign national screaming incoherent words and quickly arrived at the scene. However, after reviewing CCTV footage, they found no evidence of gunfire. Vetle was taken to the hospital with a fractured hand, and the Norway embassy has been informed. He had been in India for yoga sessions and is a resident of Namsos, Norway.
