Mr. Connolly, who previously served as a director on Fidelity's institutional business team, replaces John Meagher, who left the firm, the spokeswoman said. Mr. Meagher couldn't immediately be reached for comment. Mr. Meagher had been based in Sydney. Mr. Connolly will be based in Melbourne. Mr. Connolly's previous director role has been filled by Katie Constance, who is part of Fidelity's institutional team, the spokeswoman said.
