Fickel Fort Bend ISD has appointed Sugar Land Middle School principal Keith Fickel to the same role at the districtâs new high school, Almeta Crawford High School, a Wednesday news release from the district said. Crawford, located on the southeast side of the district on FM 521, is scheduled to open in fall of 2022. It will be the 12 th high school in FBISD. âIt is a tremendous honor to be named as the first principal for Almeta Crawford High School,â Fickel said. âI look forward to collaborating with the community to develop a shared vision that ensures Crawford High School serves its stakeholders in a world-class way.â Â
