Congressman, that was an historic moment. What exactly are the democrats now threatening to do in retaliation . What exactly are the consequences republicans now face . We keep hearing that from senators kamala harris, Chuck Schumer and richard blumenthal. What are you hearing . Weve been hearing this threatened last several years, packing the Supreme Court with additional seats of their choosing. That would totally destroy the mechanism that provides stability to our process of government. The credibility of the Supreme Court stems from the fact that its members are Lifetime Appointments but they span, many, many different administrations. However the political winds shift from the election to election. There is stability to the Supreme Court. If each party begins adding seats every time they take power, the court loses that credibility and we lose the stability that the court provides. Elizabeth all right. Weve got senator john thune saying we are, this is what republicans were elected to do, restore the Supreme Court to its constitutional purpose, not it the legislative purpose. You in h but now we have even House Speaker nancy pelosi talking about packing the court, along with Sherrod Brown and senator ed markey. We have this, sir, senator chris coons is basically saying that, that they should reexamine hundreds of conservative judges now seated. That there should be a wide open conversation on rebalancing of all the courts. That they should hundreds of conservative judges should not be allowed to sit peaceably without reexamining the process it got there. How would that happen . That is radically different view of the american founders that was just reflected in Justice Barretts remarks viewed the court as a constitutional referee, not as a policy making branch. That is the legislature answerable directly to the people. The court has a very, very different function. What the left is trying to do is turn the court into a policymaking branch of government. Thats why you see the tremendous conflict between the leftists and traditional liberals and conservatives who defend the integrity of the court. By the way Justice Ruth Bader ginsburg was one of those liberals who said it would be a very bad idea to start packing the court with additional seats because it would turn it into a political instrument rather than the neutral referee it was designed to be. Were used to seeing justice depicted blindfold because justice is supposed to be impartial. There is one depiction of justice where she is, her eyes are wide open and that is when she is looking to the constitution. The left would change that completely. They would make the justice blind to the constitution and partial to a policy of outcome that the liberals like. Or the left likes. Elizabeth also joe biden at one point said it would be a massive power mongering and corruption to try to pack the court. Theyre angry. Theyre so angry that Justice Barrett was seated on a strict partyline vote. We havent seen that in 150 years since reconstruction. This is happening now. Your take on this . Justices are not there to produce a desired outcome for either side. Theyre there to apply the law impartially. Conservative justices tend to do that. That is why conservatives are often disappointed when a conservative justice ends up with a decision that favor as liberal policy. It is because theyre not, theyre not deciding it on the policy. Theyre deciding it on the law. The left is trying to fundamentally change this concept of the rule of law to the rule of mobs and thats a very dangerous thing. I think a majority on the court dedicated to applying the law as it is written you will have decisions favoring both conservative and liberal policy outcomes but they will be according to the law under our constitution. That is not always illegal. It can certainly easily become illegal. How much did it involve joe biden . The fact that he had a meeting, bobulinski had a meeting with joe biden in and of itself may not be significant but again that is one story what happened here and the second story is the suppression by the Mainstream Media or most of the Mainstream Media about reporting it. So the other problem is, as you pointed out, as he pointed out, when joe biden is asked about this he makes these, you know, very strong declaratory statements that it is a complete lie. I never spoke to my son about his business, husband Business Ventures or my son, even said during the primary, my son never did anything wrong. We all understand fatherly loyalty, but you get into problems when you make these absolutist statements like that. Now whether or not it affects the election i dont know. Nobody ever mistook joe biden of paracles of athens. Whether or not it means anything is anybodys guess. When we look at the senate gop report and lieutenant bobulinskis emails were laying out a narrative how this all went down and what looks like they keep talking about the value added to the deal of the biden family name and that chinese intelligence were well aware of that. Well, again it is not illegal per se to use llcs, but they are very often used to hide money flows in Money Laundering operations. So it is certainly legitimate to ask these questions. Why doesnt, why doesnt cnn and msnbc ask the bidens, is this a valid email or not . What about the email . What about this recording . What about this recording where somebody asked 10 for the big guy . All it is is a question that is asked in a email. Are they talking about you . What do you know about it, mr. Vice president .
