What did you think of it . No, i disagree, liz. I actually new e that joe biden knocked himself it out pretty hardt the end of the debate. D lard at the end of the debate. Hard at the end of the debate. The president has a reputation for being refuge listic, and he was very restrained, very measured, took his hits at the former Vice President in a very surgical way, if i think he scored a lot of points. Joe biden, you know, held his owner for most of the debate, but he began to deteriorate towards the end. I definitely feel like the president outperformed, and we learned a few new things about joe biden that he wished america hadnt learned like he is lying about his position on fracking, and he was forced to saw at the end that he does intend to phase out the use of oil which is really bad in those battleground states. Thats not a popular position. Elizabeth yeah, like pennsylvania and texas. You know, election analyst frank lens took the temperature of undecided voters who said biden was, quote, very vague, elusive, grandfather lu and defensive. Theyre saying trump was unusually controlled, composed, restrained, reserved. One said he looked surprisingly president ial. So, you know, hes saying basically voters dont like trumps behavior, but they like his policies, and he came off pretty well haas night. Well, i would agree with that. I think another remark i saw from that focus group was that people wished they had the president s policies with the former Vice President s demeanor. But the president s demeanor yesterday was great and, look, hes not popular with the elites, the polished elites on the coast, but hes very popular with Blue Collar Workers and average people, is and hes purpose turning out a lot of voters who dont normally vote. Thats what we found in 2016, and i think those numbers are going to increase in 2020. Elizabeth yeah. Biden, you know, the issue is whats going to decide the election, covid19 or jobs or both. I mean, biden gave a really dark image of america saying, you know, expect a dark winter. You cant liver with covid19, winter, you cant live with covid19. What is it . I dont think it is one thing for one person. If you a retired person in your 80s and youre watching this and, you know, youre not worried about jobs, youre worried about covid. But, you know, the apocalyptic demeanor of the former Vice President on this issue, thats actually not the experience that most of us have with this disease. Its a terrible disease, but it is actually very well controlled in our country. Our countrys very honest and forthcoming about the cases. The cases are there but, actually, the fatality rate is extremely low, thank god. And we are at the worlds cutting edge on therapeutics thanks to our president s decisive nature. I mean, imagine if joe biden were in charge with coming up with a vaccine. Hed be getting bids from the chinese, and who knows what corruption would be part of that mix. Now, on the jobs front the president has a great record to talk about. He expanded jobs for numerous demographics that democrats have left behind over the years, and everything was going in the right direction very strongly and historically up until this covid situation and even amidst the covid situation we are turning things around, and its only going to get better when its behind us. So from those points of view, i think that, you know, the president did a very good job. Elizabeth yeah, biden going back and forth on a National Mask standard, he went back and forth on, you know, he said that the president s, you know, shutting down travel from china was a bad thing, and hen the supported that are do and then he supported that in april. He goes back and forth on, you know, vaccines, on shutdowns, hes saying he would shut down the economy again, then he says hes not going to. Thats why the undecideds were saying he was evasive last night. Lets turn to fracking, because you brought it up earlier. It is about jobs for pennsylvania and texas and the oil patch, and he basically joe biden, critics are saying he really made a big whopper last night. Theres a little sense of defeat among Trump Supporters and no premature talk among biden supporters that he would win because of the mistake he made last night. Listen to this. And what about fracking . All right, let me [inaudible] i have never said i oppose fracking. You said it on tape. I did show the tape. Would there be any place for fossil fuels including coal and fracking in a Biden Administration . No. We would work it out. We would make sure its eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those. I guarantee you, i guarantee you were going to end fossil fuels. No new frack. Id gradually move away from fracking. Theres no question im in favor of banning fracking. Its critically important on day one that we end any fossil file leases on public lands. Elizabeth so you see whats going on. During the Campaign Early on, the biden team, joe biden and Kamala Harris, they want the green money. They want the environmentalists money. But when the rubber hits the road and they need the votes and people are talking about job, thats when they back off. Is that whats going on here . Heres what happens in real life, elizabeth. People have their positions and their firmlyheld views, and certainly Kamala Harris has those views. But when they focus tested and realized what really matters in those battleground states, they suddenly realized theyre off on the wrong foot, but its by then too late to retreat. I think joe biden either dishonestly thought the American People were not going to look up his position, or maybe he forgot it. Thats also a legitimate position to take. He has some signs of not being able to remember his positions. Thats sort of the anger, the contradicting yourself, thats also part of some sort of cognitive disconnect over there. But, you know, you mentioned the question about maps. I mean, look, basic law for lawyers is the president does not have police power in the states. Only the states governors and local officials have the power to order things like quarantines, masks and so forth. So he is talking about interstate commerce because he heard somewhere some lawyer told him he could regulate elizabeth thats a good point. Its not interstate commerce there, joe, we dont have to wear a mask in our cars. Thats silly. Mete elizabeth yeah, thats an important point. And setting that aside just for the broader picture, how do people feel about the economy, you know . Joe biden falsely claimed obamacare never resulted in americans losing their Health Insurance plans when millions did under obamacare. But look at the gallup poll. 56 of americans in the gallup poll say they do feel better now than they did four years ago. Thats the reagan question back when reagan ran for the presidency. And 49 said the same to the New York Times. So thats really the issue. We know 4 off the 10 out of 10 feel the country isnt going in the right direction, but thats a big number, 66 . Its huge, and the president started out his years before all of this drama that dragged him into impeachment with a very deicive middle class tax cut that helped the vast majority of americans take home more pay. That also set off an economic boom, expansion of jobs particularly in those minority communities and for women. So that was a very durable expansion of our economy up until the last several months. And like i said, even then its begun to rebound. What the democrats are proposing is massive new taxes, the green new deal, the elimination of tens of thousands of jobs if not hundreds of thousands in the energy sector, and not to mention even selling out our country to these other countries. Joe biden talked about criticizing the president on health care. Well, his positive and he were in office for eight years his boss. Why didnt they implement competitive pricing for prescription drugs . You know, i as an employer can tell you that our Health Care Costs are triple what they were, and we get less for our money, and our doctors have left the business. Thats happened to me personally. So people who have some experience in life are not just listening to tv and talking points. They know what hes saying does not add up, and its our job as republicans to drive those facts home and make our closing arguments. I can promise you the president is working overtime to do it while joe biden is cowering in a bunker. Last night its good to see you Hunter Bidens former business partner, tony bobulinski, said he had to speak about how he met with and spoke to hunter excuse me, to joe biden about hinter bidens business dealings because he wants to clear his familys name that the accusations involved here are not russian disinformation as democrats are saying. He finds that offensive. When you saw that, what was your thought . No, i thought he just wanted to be clear, because he said he saw senator johnsons report, hes seen what people are saying, hes seen what journalists are doing and big tech is censoring all this. He wanted to get the information outs there so the American People know as were just 11 days before an election. So im glad he came forward, and hes telling the truth. Mainly, a couple key things, the emails are accurate. The reference in the email to the bug guy, that, in fact, is d big guy, that, in fact, is joe biden. And i think questions journalists should ask, joe, is it hunters laptop, are you, in fact, the big guy referenced in the email, and if not this is the key question if not, why wont you say so . But journalists seem to not want to do their job other than those of you at fox who are digging into this story. Elizabeth yeah. It kind of underscores, you know, the fact that theyre not saying that these things are fake or phony, it underscores more and more whats going on with the emails and the laptop. Sure. Elizabeth bobulinski gave three of his phones to the fbi, hes going to talk to Senate Homeland security and senate finance. You know, kim bear ily strassel Kimberly Strassel points out that hunter was working on a deal with china in 2016, and bobulinski saws he personally was on the email and text chains knowing about all of these business deals. By the way, the bidens dealings, they used about a dozen Shell Companies and llcs, one was used for this Energy Company deal. That makes it more difficult to track the money flows and whos paying money to whom. So when you hear the arguments from the biden camp, the tax returns are clean for the biden, it doesnt take into account the use of this, right . Right, and exactly. And, remember, in the debate last night Vice President biden said that he never took money from any foreign national, any foreign source. But i think the key question is did someone in your family take money from a foreign source and then funnel it to you. That is the key question. And, in fact, it looks like thats what the fbis looking into, this Money Laundering and the use of these llcs. Mr. Grenell was speaking to that earlier. Think of all the different llcs they is the up, all these different ones they set up, was that how they were lawnerring the money, moving laundering the money, moving the money from the foreign country to hunter, then to joe biden . So those are the key questions. Elizabeth yeah. And, yes, it seems like no journalist wants to ask those questions other than the folks at fox and the new york post. Elizabeth well, you know, because at one point hunter biden did send money over to his brother, james biden, as, quote, consulting fees. Millions of dollars went that way. So thats a way the frame the question. Lets listen to lieutenant tony bobulinski. Hes going to to explain why he came toward prickly forward publicly and why he decided to pull back the curtain it is, he said, on what the bidens were doing including pursuing deals with individuals in communist china. I have heard joe biden say that hes never discussed business with hunter. That is false. I have firsthand knowledge about this because i directly dealt with the biden family including joe biden. Finish on may 13th, 2017, i received an email concerning allocation of equity which says 10 held by h for the big guy. In that email, theres no question that h stands for hunter, big guy for his father, joe biden.
