The senate will move forward with that nomination just like the constitution says. So the democrats said if we do that, we win back power well change the rules. Well add six new people to the court. The court has been at nine for 151 years this is ridiculous. I think the American People understand that. We got a resolution we filed a few minutes ago. Elizabeth what teeth does the resolution have . It is just a resolution but, you know, we are 42 days away from an election. So it is important to have the document. I think every single republican in the house will probably sign on to this. Every single republican on the Judiciary Committee already has. This is that kind of document it helps create the debate, make the argument even bigger for the country to understand what the democrats are trying to do. I think it is absolutely laughable that the democrats and those in the media are claiming a constitutional crisis when they cant point to anything that the senate or the president is doing that would be unconstitutional. Clearly the president can appoint somebody. Donald trump and republicans didnt ask for Justice Ginsburg to pass away. It just happened. And so he has the duty under the constitution to appoint that person and the senate under the advice and consent portion of the constitution can take this up whenever they want. They can vote it down. They can vote for it. They get total discretion. That is what the constitution allows them to do. So no action is even action, as was the case four years ago. But for them to vote on a nominee from the president , wholly constitutional. It is only the democrats want to try to rewrite the constitution on the fly. Elizabeth okay. I will give donald trump credit, he should be winning awards for his openness and transparency putting out a list of those that he would select from. That is why he can accelerate this process and put out a nominee within a week because he is already you know, looked at that list over years in order to get to that place.
