Doses ready to ship once they get the green light and speaking of green light, joe biden wants to go ahead and raise Corporate Taxes, he is tapping his inner Bernie Sanders and outlining his economic plans using terms like fair share and calling for an end to what he calls shareholder capitalism. We are all over that story you can bet. We may hear the president s response to mr. Bidens plan shortly, he will be leaving for an event in florida this hour. We expect he will speak to reporters before boarding marine one as he likes to do and you will certainly see that right here when it happens. You will also see very little let up in the tech rally, despite theyre down day overall, the big tech names holding their own with more record gains. Amazon, it is hit an alltime high for six days in a row. Not bad. Apple, not much of a pullback of the stays above 380 a share, same story for microsoft, not much of a drop there, for microsoft still at 213 box. Facebook is above 240, despite constant headwinds and criticism thats why we call it the teflon stock, facebook 244. Who could forget netflix, solidly 500 bucks, 520. Who has not been entered binge watch something during the pandemic, we know that you been entered binge watch Varney Company three hours straight a day, we thank you. We will read your comments later in the show. The feedback friday edition of Varney Company starts right now. Ashley lets get right to the big vaccine news this morning, German Biotech Company biontech says can be ready for approval and shipment by december. Doctor marc siegel is with us right now. Is this big news . Huge news, i will tell you why, they have been testing this vaccine in phase i and phase ii trials where there giving it to people and comparing what is happening to, lesson plasma, people who have recovered from covid19. You know what they found, they found out that a week after giving the vaccine, they made that and a moderate that you make when youre getting over the disease, only more of it, in other words the bio intech vaccine made more antibodies, we call it neutralizing antibodies, it targets the antibodies directly, the candidates made more of it if they were getting over the actual disease. That in a logical response robust, very exciting, whats lasleft is giving it to 30000 volunteers in just as safe and just as effective. Ashley very encouraging indeed. I want to check out gilead if we can and soothingly, come on then, them a positive update on their coronavirus treatment remdesivir. Releasing more data on the effect of treating coronavirus, is very positive because it looks like theres an improvement in clinical recovery and a 62 reduction in risk of mortality of covid if you take remdesivir, those with severely ill patients on coronavirus and ventilators, they said theres been 80 recovery in those type of cases which is been very positive and also shows the mortality rate is down significantly by day 14 after taking remdesivir after day 14 usually recover by a rate of 40 80 or so. The big change or write be inhalant, and inhaled remdesivir, the reason wife you sniff the medication it actually treats coronavirus more effectively because we know its an upper respiratory tract and more convenient if you can go to the drugstore and get inhalant. That is very positive news from gilead right now. Ashley good stuff. Doctor marc siegel, weve heard remdesivir a lot, doesnt show a lot of promise . This is even better than the remdesivir that we saw earlier the earlier data showed decreases by four days. This decreases the death rate and decreases the amount of people that cant get on ventilators by enormous amounts. That is a sign that this is a drug and it makes health and Human Services look very good for getting 500,000 courses into the United States for use in every hospital in the country, it is something that i believe every hospitalized patient will be considered for now. In the other points you made about the inhaled version, i want to point out additional things, at that ends up working that will be something you could get before your hospitalized. This is an antiviral drug and before the virus starts to take off in the body, if we can block it with remdesivir, the current version is intervening. Its always a harder to give up before your hospitalized but if we can given inhalant before your hospitalized, we made prevent and need for hospitalization because its got very exciting news out of gilead today. Ashley , that is two pieces of good news and its help the sentiment, doctor marc siegel, thank you very much. The features calmly undercutting their losses with a 13. 4 stock. Lets turn to the 2020 race right now, joe biden slamming what he calls an era of shareholder capitalism as he unveils his economic plan, lets roll the tape. Donald trump has a most single he focused on the stock market. Ill be laser focused on working families, the middle class families i came from in scranton, not the wealthy investor class. They dont need me. Its way past time of shareholder capitalism. Ashley he is going to be laser focused. Lets bring back susan, joe biden had a lot to say about his plan for the economy, what are the other highlights. Susan a lot more spending, money for colleges, that comes in the form of higher taxes. We know joe biden has been very clear that he will raise the Corporate Tax currently sitting at 21 back at 28 , still lower than the obama era when it was at 35 but he talked about more spending, 700 billion to buy more u. S. Goods and services in developing u. S. Technology and spending 70 billion to invest in minority like colleges and universities and pushing for a 15 federal minimum wage that will be double the current level right now and made a speech in pennsylvania, biden pushing to keep manufacturing jobs, highlighting the importance of labor unions and collective bargaining but biden did criticize shareholder capitalism as you just heard there. It can be argued that shareholder capitalism is how you value americas corporate sector, White American exceptionalism is alive and well today. Which motivates the Innovative Companies on the planet and most valuable as well. 4 trilliondollar giants are right here in the u. S. Of a and likely the place where you will find the first 2 trilliondollar company. Ashley indeed. Thank you for that breakdown. Lets bring in jonathan honecker. Capitalist Big Hedge Fund guy, jonathan, you are a capitalist pig, what do you make of mr. Bidens vision. Its shocking and alarming, earlier this week represented a billion omar talks about dismantling the system but this is what joe biden is talking about. Shareholder capitalism is capitalism. Its the american system, the system of private property where companies are owned by their shareholders, theyre not owned and run by government who forces them who to hire, how much to pay or how much they can make with those taxes you alluded to. For under capitalism, evil shareholder capitalism is about voluntary winwin transaction, shareholders or shareholders, voluntary, employees are employees voluntary and customers are customers voluntarily and they get a value, that is capitalism and the american way, that is not what joe biden is endorsing. Ashley very quickly on the market, we are seeing the nasdaq continue to drastically outperform the dow and s p, do you expect that to continue and are you still buying into the big tech names . It is been all big tech all the time, when it comes to buying or selling any individual stock is about your own individual situation, a lot of people think theyre in for the long haul and once the market goes down five or 10 there out the door. We are due for a correction of what worries me is what youre alluding to, the concentration of all the markets upward move made in the 405 technology names, weve only seen that in prior pools in 2000 or 2008. Im a little cautious at this level. Ashley a little cautious with jonathan hoenig. Take you for joining us. Now to a fox business alert, happening this hour, President Trump will be heading down to florida today, he is expected to depart at about 930 eastern time and if he stops to talk to reporters like he usually loves to do when he travels, we will have that right here for you. Speaking of florida, take a look at disney, the reopening the orlando park starting tomorrow basically promising to be the safest place on earth, lets bring in todd, what is it going to look like . Actually, normally this place is called the happiest place on earth, but even if you are smiling no one will be able to see it thanks to your face coverings, disney world in florida requiring masks, social distancing and temperature checks when it reopens tomorrow, no greets with their main characters, dont even think about asking the Disney Employee to take a picture in front of cinderellas castle, that is not allowed because it involves touching tourist cameras. While you may be used to getting a pass if you like to go to disney world, there is no hopping between parks for the time being. Instead you need a reservation for the one that you go to. While the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be open tomorrow, epcot and Hollywood Studios will not reopen until wednesday. Keep in mind the mba restart also taking place at disney world right now. All this is florida since its record high for covid deaths yesterday while adding close to 9000 new cases and actually, disneys crosstown rivaled universal nc world have been open for weeks and having similar roles to disney. Ashley no selfies with mickey. That has got to hurt. Thank you very much. Lets take a much of the futures, we are getting positive news on vaccines, kind of still flat on the dow, we turn slightly positive in the premarket, the s p flat and the nasdaq essentially flat at this hour. Lets take a look at amazon amazing week, the question is, can they keep it up, that is 3182, up 10 this week. As Congress Works on the next coronavirus stimulus package, nancy pelosi is making it Crystal Clear on what she wants. I am saying trillions with the tr. Ashley we got it, with the tr, trillion, you heard that right. But can we afford more spending, massive spending, we will talk about that. First calling for the boycott of goya foods after the ceo had the audacity to praise President Trump, hear what he has to say about that next. Its a friday edition of Varney Company. Stock slices. Look, reverse mortgages arent for everyone but i think ive been round long enough to know whats what. Im proud to be part of aag, i trust em, i think you can too. Trust aag perio better ashley another case of internet cancel culture, the twitter going after goyer chief executive calling for a boycott and all because he supports the president. It seems that way, or you oh boy, its a boycott, it does not have the same ring to it, after the ceo of goya foods which says its a countrys largest hispanic own food company visited the white house for a roundtable with hispanic leaders and praise the president. I guess he should not have done that because cancel culture was quick at the trigger, goya way and boycott goya trending. And who of course leading the charge, aoc, alexandria ocasiocortez threatened to make her own popular seasoning that goya foods is known for. There you see that tree, who Julian Castro says american should think twice before buying goya products. The ceo responded to the social media outrage on fox friends earlier. You make a positive comment, all of a sudden that is not acceptable. Im not apologizing especially if your call by the president of the United States youre going to say sorry im busy, no thank you, i did not say that to the obama and President Trump. Keep in mind, the white house event celebrated in executive order to improve access by hispanic americans to education into economic opportunities. That was the nature of this event, im looking forward to hear what you asked the president of goya when he joined you coming up at 11 00 oclock. It will be interesting. Ashley it certainly is, thank you very much, the next one here, House Speaker nancy pelosi calling for very big bucks for the new release bill. Roll the tape. I am saying trillions, trillions for state and local, trillions for Unemployment Insurance and direct payment. Trillion with the tr, the fed is spending trillions of dollars to shore up the stock market. That may be a good thing to do. We think we should spend trillions of dollars to shore up americas workers. Ashley there you have it, if you did not get it, trillions, tr, lets bring in senator john barrasso, republican from wyoming, senator are you on board with what nancy pelosi has to say . No i am not. She is still living on fantasy island. I read her 3 trillion bill and she asked for direct payments to illegal immigrants. She asked for money to bail out sanctuary cities. To bail out failed tension programs and states that has been years in the making, what she does not talk about in her plan or actually things that get people back to work, jobs and the Liability Protection that we need for healthcare workers, our schools, as well as for the momandpop businesses who are trying to reopen. Ashley the question always as our viewers look on, who is paying for all of his . You got it right, this is all added to our debt, just as the last cares act was as well and shes looking for bailouts all around the country when we need to be focused on three things, if there is another piece of legislation, i believe there will be, my criteria, will this help get people back to work in children back to schools, number one. Number two, will help save lives in terms of testing, vaccines in treatment. And number three, will that provide this necessary Liability Protection that are hospital and Healthcare Providers need as well as a Small Businesses as well as our schools . Ashley you mentioned schools and i want to pick that up, President Trump wants to reopen those schools, we know that but hes blaming the democrats for keeping them closed, saying its all about politics. Take a listen to this. We have to open our schools, open our schools, stop this nonsense, the political nonsense. Its only political nonsense, its politics, they dont want to open because they think it will help them on november 3, i think it is going to hurt them on november 3. Open your schools. Ashley the message is clear, senator do you agree its people politics from the democrats . My taken this, we need to get the politics out of it and we need to get the children back into school. The president as well as parents as well as pediatricians agree, the best place for Young Children is to have them back in school and all the way through college and we need to do it responsibly, smartly and we can do it that way. We cannot afford another year of lost time for our young people in terms of education, the American Academy of pediatrics has come out and said just that, here in wyoming we have a program started july 1 working with the schools called start smart in terms of working to make sure the schools open smartly but i will tell you, i believe theres an expense to doing this and in terms of the cares act as we look to another piece of legislation, i think we need to make sure there is money in their and that schools have what they need in terms of spacing, disinfectants, so it is safe for students as well as teachers to return to school and the fall. Ashley exactly. We are already out of time but senator john barrasso, republican from the great beautiful state of wyoming. Thank you so much for joining us this morning on this friday and as we head to the break, take a look at the futures, the dow is up 27 points. When we come back will cover the market opening. Dont go away. Geicos been helping people save money for over 75 years. Theyve really stood the test of time. Much like these majestic rocky mountains. Which must be named after the. That would be rocky the flying squirrel, mr. Gecko sir. Obviously ahh come on bullwinkle, theyre named after. Our first president george rockington that doesnt even make any sense. Mr. Uhh. Winkle. Geico. Over 75 years of savings and service. To visit all the places we didnt know meant so much. S to get out and go again. Mr. Uhh. Winkle. But were all going at our own speed. At enterprise, peaceofmind starts with our complete clean pledge, curbside rentals and lowtouch transactions. With so many vehicles of so many kinds, you can count on us to help you get everywhere you want to go. Again. Whenever youre ready, were ready for you. Enterprise. Ashley okay, you are looking at the white house, President Trump said to the part performed at any minute and we will have that for you when it happens. And he does like to speak to reporters, we will bring that to you as well. Moments away from the opening of the market, take a look at amazon. There on an amazing streak this month, we talk about them every day for a good reason, up 10 of 3182, lets bring in ray wong, founder of the research, we are great to see you. The question is, does amazon continue the summer of fun . Happy friday, amazon is unique company, a digital giant and what we have to think about, theres multiple modernization, we know them for ecommerce and that makes a lot of sense but theres also the cloud which is a big part of the business, digital ads at the big part of the business in the prime membership streaming, alexa and starting to come atomic vehicles and even space, this is a digital giant with multiple monetization models and if you look at the valuation today you consider the other businesses and how they are growing, one would say in it sounds shocking, there actually undervalued. Ashley i laugh but i dont know why because nothing surprises me about amazon, where does it go from here, its 3182, how soon before 4000 . I think they could probably see that in the next two years, were seen about 3500 by the end of the year. Ashley all right, very quickly before the opening bell, youre the top five Ecommerce Companies and some surprising names on their, we talk about them on the screen right now. Yeah, when you think about the ecommerce market, it is definitely shifting and you think where walmart is playing a role and other sources of ecommerce in the futures for that is contact list, its about selfservice and building big membership models. Ashley we have apple and home depot which is interesting. I definitely do. Apple was a big Services Company if you think about all the services they are having and streaming and applecare in the credit card and you think about all the things that they have been rolling out, they become a subscription model. Ashley they certainly have, we are now open and running on wall street, lets take a look at the big board, the dow 30 stocks, kind of a little all green and red, as for the overall, were up ten points at the beginning but were only just Getting Started, the dow 257725, lets take a look at the s p if we can, trending a little bit of water early on but slightly higher on the s p apple a couple points 3154. Take a look at the nasdaq, we know that the Big Tech Companies just down slightly just down six points at 10541. Lets talk about the market movers, gilead, they made the virus treatment remdesivir, just release more positive data, they are showing a 62 reduction in mortality risk over regular hospital care, that is the latest from gilead, but have a stuck up 2 . We will show you bio intact, a German Company that says their Coronavirus Vaccine can be ready by december, the green light, they can send out millions of doses, that stock is up 5 of 69. 30. And we have our ion tesla, a week goes by and by the way the stock is up another 25 . Come back on if you can, elon musk laughing it up for the sale, you say the stock short shorts is going to 1500 bucks. Yeah, we think 1500, here is why, they have been making a lot of money in terms of Energy Credit, that is one thing that goes on watched in looking at about 600 million coming from the Energy Credit may put them above the red for a couple of quarters, there also opening and did a good job with china numbers which surprised everybody and they may be out of profit for the quarter, were watching that pretty carefully but the model coming out in the course a lot of the work they have been doing, their and data company, focused on Autonomous Vehicles and driving going forward, you saw the announcement by Autonomous Vehicles. Ashley we mentioned this at the top of the show, netflix of 15 bucks, another record high of 523, who has not binged watch something on netflix during the pandemic, is it onwards and upwards for netflix . For a while we will see that, as part of the fact that they have a lot of content in the system and a lot of the Hollywood Studios are shut down because of covid19, they of the content, their winning formula and there the one to beat but you have to watch out for amazon as well, they are also streami streaming. Ashley it is interesting, susan, netflix we were talking about their demise as normal people got into the space but it hasnt materialized especially in the pandemic, everyone is Binge Watching. Susan there renewing the crown for a six season which was a surprise, j. P. Morgan also raising his price target for the stock in part because of exciting content to provide subscribers with and where else are you going to go when youre locked down at home, we have earnings next week for netflix and given that netflix has been a stayathome winner, it should be strong for the three months, subscriber numbers are key when we see the Earnings Reports and we sell record additions in the first three month of this year, nearly 16 million subscribers, netflix executives are being cautious and conservative in the Earnings Report only taken seven and a half million new users and the Second Quarter which might be easily surpassed and good for the stock, there is a lot of competition, we know disney has over 54 million subscribers in just six months, that is a third by netflix total worldwide subscriber numbers and just half a year which you have to say is pretty impressive. Ashley you have to, there is no way around it. Thank you very much, quick check on amazon, guess what they just did, they hit another new alltime high, the dow itself is essentially flat at 25708, the chip company hitting an alltime high, almost a daily occurrence. Lets take a look if we can with the streaming stocks, i want to get to the ten year yield if we can, people getting a little bit wonky but they say the spread between the three month note in the ten year treasury yield is starting to narrow which could suggest that the bond market is a little concerned about the recovery of the economy, whatever as you can see the yield down on the tenure below. 6 . Take a look at gold, its been around 1800 bucks although weve seen that push higher up another six or 7 at 1810 for gold. Do we have bitcoin, we tried this yesterday it did not work, right around 9000. There it is, 9200 bitcoin, down 100 or 55 bucks. Lets take a look at oil, oil is under pressure moving lower, continues on marginally down 6 cents but under 4 40 box at 495. Harleydavidson, bad news, more job cuts. Susan 700 more jobs, 50 of the workforce, could see around 42 million. Harleydavidson u. S. Sales have been lagging and falling for years and the Company Replaces ceo earlier this year in 2020, the company has reopened the factories a few weeks ago but at lower production levels and that reflects the current market environment that we are in including the lower demand for motorcycles and hogs in particular, harley joining walgreens, levis and other companies that are continuing to lay off workers. Ashley its a familiar theme, what about united, their pilots union, what is the pilots union saying about those furloughs. Susan thats another company that continues to lay off, this week we heard from the you knighted states saying they were going to furlough about 40 of the workforce by october, 30000 employees without a paycheck in 2200 pilot jobs are at risk. The pilots union says united pilots, lets strike a deal which we have four voluntary furloughs of pilots in early retirement and we dont know specifically how many pilots have agreed to this but united is the last of the big forced to settle a deal with its pilots, airlines have received government aid and not allowed to furlough or lay off any staff until the end of september, september 30 and united receives around 5 billion in total aid and Airlines Continue to struggle, thats why theyre furloughing and thats despite up slight uptick in trouble, with covid cases surging in other states domestic flights are hurting, 84 down last year down 73 across other u. S. Airports. It is still pretty tough. Ashley it is still very tough indeed. Thank you. One more lockdown winner, i want to talk about chopper five. Ray wong come back and if you can, you say the stock has more room then the upside. This is a power stock, it is helping Digital Congress for s p, they done extremely well, the numbers that are flowing through our o out of the roof. We thought they would be 850, theyre moving past 1200, 1500 thats where we think they will end up. One thing that is special is their pricing model, Small Businesses love what theyre doing and they are starting to move upmarket which actually gives them the opportunity to midmarket enterprises. Ashley its amazing, over 1000 a share, fantastic stuff, ray wong thank you for joining us, susan gray stuff as well. Thank you everyone, the market is slightly down, the dow up ten points at 25700. A very muted opening this friday morning. Joe biden is laying out his build back better plan, thats a lot of bees, something President Trump by american higher message. Take a listen to this and judge for yourself. When the federal government spends taxpayers money, we should use it to buy American Products in support american jobs. In my administration we live by two simple rules, by american and higher american. Ashley the cost of mr. Bidens economic plan, 700 billion, we will break that down for you but they do some very similar do they not. Developers are getting creative as they figure out what to do with failed standing empty, we will have a live report for you and check the social media stocks, sites like facebook and twitter plate a bigger role in the shoes election because of the pandemic. Ashley as we surmise unexpected President Trump is indeed speaking to reporters right now, there you see the white house, hes on his way to florida because once we have the tape of what he has to say we will have them for you in a few minutes. Meanwhile back to the baffle for screeninstreaming dominance, hea name that is on the battle at all, it is called a ab, they reportedly are having trouble getting the free trial users to actually pay up. Susan it makes a short ten minute videos only as a Conversion Rate of 8 which is much less than disney at 11 conversion and that means customers stay on after the free trial ends and this is according to data coming from center which is estimating it only has signed up 910,000 during the feast few months, Analysts Expect an estimate that it is only been downloaded around four and a half million times, it claims the app downloads were actually more than that 5. 6 million, if you stop elite these numbers over the full year with a 8 Conversion Rate, that leads to 2 million paying subscribers, that is much less then what the Company Guided at some important 4 million coronavirus has killed in between moments that could be made when youre waiting at the post office or in line at the dentist and thats hurting the company. Ashley i guess they thought it was a good idea, has not quite materialized yet, thank you very much. Take a look at facebook back on the up this week, right now it is down a couple of bucks at 242 but it has been in record territory despite more than 750 Companies Pulling their ads from facebook platform, lets bring in jim anderson ceo of social flow, facebook is no stranger to bad headlines but it seems investors dont really care and in this time they dont really care about a boycott. You said it, facebook has had a really rough week, we have the app boycott, the results of the audit and the civil rights aud audit, that it yielded a great deal of criticism and all kinds of bad news and yet they hit an alltime high this week. We could all use those bad weeks, they differently seem to be so far effectively immune from the bad headlines. Ashley we call it the tough one stock for a reason, we look at the list of the companies that are boycotting. Jim i want to move on to talk about social media in general, the question being will apply an even bigger role in the election this year because of the pandemic, more people stuck at home on social media. I think so, it is interesting, one of the things you were talking about with quibi, social media is effectively immobile dominated medium, about 80 of social usage comes from mobile phones, while her behavior has changed during the pandemic, we all have our phones, i have my hand on my phone not even a foot away from you. Quibi claims that the in between moments that were made for quibi have not turned out where they want to, facebook and twitter are certainly on not seeing that. To your question there is going to be a greater focus on the platforms, the consumer intention is there an election is all about consumer intention or voter attention. I think theyre definitely going to play huge. Ashley very quickly, the rumored twitter was looking at subscription platform, i was curious to get your thoughts on that, is that real income to be successful . I think it is real that they are looking at it, but they have been looking for years. In many ways would be a smart play, they have to decide whether its ultimately the strategy but twitter is 125th the size of facebook, if you look at the market, facebook is 25 times larger than twitter. We dont necessarily think about that, twitter needs to charge its own path, it does not to be like facebook and it needs its own strategy, its on purpose inducing weatherby content moderation or other decisions that different from facebook and other social med internetworks. They are considering quite sitters silly and theres a strong case to be made, it would clearly be a free layer of twitter, any subscription business or would play. For those people who really get a lot of value out of twitter and one a better experience, he would be willing to pay for. Ashley the president will get a free account. Jim anderson, thank you so much for joining us. We appreciate on this friday. The next one starbucks, they are going to start requiring masks after coffee shops. No masks, no coffee, starting july 15, starbucks requiring all customers to wear a facemask inside the coffee shop, there will be clear signs that state the customers are required to wear facial coverings inside the store, that is also in states where there are no government mandates to do so because there been several incidents and viral videos surfacing with starbucks customers insulting starbucks employees trying to explain the requirements were facemasks inside the store. The company is making it very clear to everybody that these are the rules in place but you can still order starbucks on the mobile app, drivethroughs and pickups. You dont actually have to go inside. Ashley that is true. No shoes, no shirt, no mask, no service. It is friday, which means its friday feedback, you still have time by the way to send in your thoughts to varney viewers to foxbusiness. Com for your chance to be featured on today show if you have some strong thoughts, let us know. Lets bring in tim bixby, the companys chief financial guide, your stock is up big time, the initial price was 29 bucks, its at 8250, pretty good, did you ever give any thought of not going public given the extraordinary times in the pinned mx that we are living in. We did but we long thought the Public Market is the best place to build the next generation Insurance Company and so we were thoughtful about the timing but when the timing was right, we were prepared, we left it a chance, we think being a Public Company in building and that platform is the best place to set a new standard for the Insurance Company that is fully digital can look like and be like. Ashley it is mobile Insurance Company, this is a very crowded field is it not, is as though market share to be had out there . It is interesting, its crowded if you think about billiondollar companies that are hundreds of years old, it is not crowded at all and if you think about the digital from the ground up and its a. Provider, we own our own insurance companies, we write policies on her own balance sheet, we are competing with the biggest players in the u. S. Market but were 100 digital, a customer can get unlimited Insurance Coverage in three minutes which is pretty remarkable in this business and they can get a claim paid in seconds in many cases. Ashley whos your key demographic is there is one . We over index millennials and as you may know millennials are not that young anymore, they are 30 and edging up on 40 but we have customers of every age. But it is really welcome by folks who are used to getting everything on their phone in real time with a couple of things that dont exist to the real extent, insurance, things like the like, speed, fun, and so we take something that is historically complex and a little bit opaque and make it easy and seamless in a many cases delightful for a customer in minutes. Ashley i like that word delightful, we are out of time but tim bixby, thank you for joining us and congratulations on your ipo, we wish you all the success. Thank you for being here. We are just Getting Started on this friday morning and waiting to hear back from the tape of President Trump speaking to reporters, we will get to that as soon as possible, still to come, my good friend Elizabeth Macdonald on stage rolling back the reopen plan. Could the cyber guy on what they are doing to try to hurt President Trumps reelection and steve hilton will be here to react to joe biden 700 billion economic plan. Crime is surging to record levels and cause to defend the police, going across new york city. Will that city, will varsity ever be the same, that in more next. And etfs for any amount you choose instead of buying by the share. All with no commissions. Stocks by the slice from fidelity. Get your slice today. Me too. Me too. And if youre a small business, were with you. Standing by you every step of the way. Bye bye. It was 1961 when nellie young lost her devoted husband. Without him, things were tough. Her last option was to sell her home, but. Her home meant everything to her. Her husband had been a High School Football coach and it turned out, one of his former players came up with an answer. Ashley breaking right now, as we promised President Trump speaking just moments ago to reporters, lets listen in. Im going to different parts of florida today and will be back at 11 00 oclock tonight and a lot of stops and a lot of very good stuff goin im looking forward to a preTropical Storm is probably going to be hitting a place new jersey, pretty soon. We are on the watch, we are fully prepared, it shouldnt be too bad, you never know, you never know. But its looking like its going to be hitting seriously fairly soon and we are fully prepared and other than that, i will see you in miami. Okay, thank you. [inaudible question] he plagiarized from me but he can never pull it off, he likes plagiarizing, it is a plan, it is very radical left but he said the right things because he is copying what ive done but the difference is he cannot do it. And he knows he is not doing it, it cannot be the same because these raising taxes, way too much, hes raising everybodys taxes and is putting tremendous amount of regulation back on and those two things are two primary reasons that i created the greatest economy we have ever had. Now were creating again. [inaudible question] i will be looking at it i think roger stone was very unfairly treated as were many people and in the meantime combing in all these guys are Walking Around including biden and obama because we caught them spying on my campaign, who wouldve believed that one. Thank you. [inaudible question] ashley there it was, shorter than normal but certainly getting in some points, especially about joe bidens new economic plan, he said guess what, he plagiarized my plan, he likes to plagiarize, it comes from the very logical left, he is raising taxes way too much on the economic side, that is what the president has to say, he now heads off to florida for a number of events. Meanwhile as the president just mentioned right there, the east coast bracing for Tropical Storm fay, we are of course tracking the path coming into new jersey, new york on points northeast, meanwhile there it is, there may be winds up to 40, 50 miles an hour, gus with heavy rain and places up to two, three maybe 4 inches of rain, Tropical Storm fay keeping a close tab on that. Meanwhile lets take a look at the market, the dow is drifting around the water market, down 41 points, the s p down four tenths of 8 and the nasdaq down three quarters of 8 . The stocks are off their lows after news the drugmakers German Biotech Company biontech saying its vaccine can be ready for approval and shipment by december of course the market like that news, by intech up 4 . Gilead testing and inherently version of remdesivir that is taking medication this way it might work faster or covid patients. That is interesting. That stock is up more than 1 this morning. Take a look at modern art, this stock is down slightly, down 2. 6 , this after doctor Anthony Fauci said phase tree files of the vaccine will begin this month. Lots of vaccine stories today, the market is still drifting just a little bit. Now this, joe biden as we talked about outlining his latest plan for the economy added an event in pennsylvania yesterday in his crosshairs, the Corporate Tax rate, he wanted to go up, roll tape. They can start businesses and it is time Corporate America paid their fair share of taxes, we thought our administration, we should lower the tax in the high 30s to 28 to lower 21. Im going to read that backup 28, provide hundreds of billions of dollars to invest to the growth of this country and in the days of amazon pain nothing of federal income tax will be over. Ashley lets bring in market watcher greg, great to see you this morning, i guess my question is, are investors worried about this, the chance biden presidency in the Corporate Tax rates and others questioning. To my surprise, not yet. I think the key is the senate, if the senate falls, and it could, i think the markets will worry about the trifecta, one party, the democrats controlling the white house and the senate. But for now know, a major reason, the economy may be too fragile in early 2021 to have a big new tax hike. I think people will go to biden if he wins and say lets wait a while, maybe even Jerome Powell would say lets wait a while before we have big new tax hikes. I think tax hike would come later than sooner and i think biden would not want to antagonize the markets right after his inauguration. Ashley i want to ask you about the economy, i would argue that the Economic Data for the most part is actually been pretty positive, better than people have expected, much is made about the rise in coronavirus cases elsewhere in the economy could be put on poles or rollback a bit, im not so sure that is true, what is your take . I pay a lot of attention to the treasury ten year bond yield, it is gunned down by quite a bit which indicates to me that the markets are worried that in california, florida, texas, arizona, people are apprehensive about going out, the media shows all the kids at the beach or in bars but the majority of americans in the sun belt are cautious about going out. My fear is, the economy could level off for the next few weeks, its a major reason why i think well get another big stimulus package in early august. Ashley the markets and investments, i talked about this earlier that theres a gap doing the nasdaq and the big tech in the dow and s p in the broader market, how do you play that as an investor, do you continue at these levels to look at the big tech players, because they are hard to stop. They are very hard to stop, you can say its a classic momentum play, you dont want to get in front of the Freight Train with the market doing so well, i do think that with another big stimulus package, at least a trillion dollars for the first of august in the Federal Reserve being exceptionally accommodative, the fundamental for the markets are still quite good. The economy i think will rebound impressively by the end of the year because of the vaccine, who wants to be out of the market right now . Ashley thats a very good question and unfortunately we have to move on, thank you so much for joining us today. On this friday. Thank you greg. Lets take a look at the markets we can, we are struggling for a little bit of momentum to use that word, drifting a bit, the dow with 31 points, s p down for ten, the nasdaq down a little bit more, a tenth of 8 and 10464. Lets take a look at netflix, hitting a new alltime high, i feel like we say that every day, renewing by the way the crown, much Popular Series for a six season, that start, netflix up to. 3 up to 519 hitting a new alltime high today. J. P. Morgan as susan pointed out earlier also raising his target price for the stock, it is all engines go for netflix. Next case, new york city, it is right with protest, riots and looting over the past few months and unfortunately shooting the art up as well, were seen a 53 increase this year over last year, now the nypd commissioner is blaming mayor bill de blasio for his bill reform effort and not to mention the mayors 1 billion cut in funding for police. Look at this, the mayor, he seems to be painting over the problems literally out yesterday helping paint the black lives matter mureau in front of trump tower. What a good time to bring in Elizabeth Macdonald, host of the evening edit. Great to see you. You are a new yor your crew thrh and through. Stu says the city could very well never be the same, i feel like its heading back to where it was in the 70s and 80s. What is your take . I kind of agree, my family has been in new york city since the 1850s my greatgrandfather ran the Fire Department and my sister married a fireman and lost a Family Member to 9 11. It is about leadership, and its about the tone that is set, even democrats in new york city and i come from a family of democrats, many of them in many of the people i know that a democrat say that theyve lost faith in mayor de blasio. This talk of a recall movement against mayor de blasio, we have former commissioner ray kelli, Ernie Kerrick and liesel then Congress Republican from new york saying he should be removed and why is this, they feel that mayor de blasio is acting like he is only mayor of protesters and not all of new york city, new york city has historically seen numerous crises, by the way new york city has a big part of the history of the Civil Rights Movement that started in the Brooklyn Navy yard with africanamericans upset with wage disputes in the 1940s. The city has seen crises, recessions, it seemed protest certainly in about five or six years ago mayor bloomberg of republican said you can protest but you should do it peacefully. Rudy giuliani said the same thing, the First Amendment is saying doing it peacefully. The elected officials now are acting like they are not reading the First Amendment which clearly says you are allowed to peacefully assemble and protest if you want, youre not supposed to be writing and looting. Receive the destruction with both residents and businesses leaving and i think mayor de blasio, im not sure when hes going to answer the wakeup ca call, he is the mayor who is been criticized for working seven hours in the month of may last year, he shows up late to work at the New York Times has repeatedly reported. It is up to the people of new york if they want to vote them out, it is up to them. Ashley very quickly, he said if he really cared about black lives, he would have posters all over new york city of all this lane teenagers and pregnant women who have been killed in the crossfire in the innercity violence. I think he makes a good point. He does, africanamerican black lives, people are saying our Family Members are being shot and killed. Now we are talking nine children shot since friday, seven of them dead, the other thing too, were tracking the defend the Police Movement in 20 cities, the majority of them are run by democrat officials. Those are the facts and its really the crisis that we face and how we govern ourselves. We have been through decades of problems before and this city will bounce back, its a crisis of leadership. Ashley it always does, great to see you elizabeth and donald. Anchor of the evening edit, 6 00 p. M. Every night, great show, dont miss it. Thank you so much for joining us. Much appreciated. We have a weather alert, we mentioned this, Tropical Storm fay heading up the east coast as we speak, expected to make landfall later tonight, youre looking like the ocean city new jersey, looking rather wet and windy, lets bring in janice, where is faye headed and what can we expect. Tropical storm 50 mileperhour sustained winds, we dont expected to become a hurricane, its going to cause a beach day for the northeast coastline, actually this is the earliest s name storm in atlantic history, were already into the sixth name storm, it is not ringing very good weather to the jersey shore line, we are expecting landfall around new york city tonight, we think the pinpoint is going to be in and around new york city and we expect the legacy of the storm to be mainly at heavy rain event. Flash flood watches and warnings are posted hear from new jersey all the way up to southern new england and Tropical Storm warnings as well for most of the coast of new jersey, long island, up towards coastal connecticut as well, this will be with us throughout the day and into overnight and saturday, scattered showers and thunderstorms and we can see the threat for tornadoes, week tornadoes to seize tropical systems as they potentially make inland. That is something we will have to monitor and theres the future rater, the legacy of the storms along with the gusty winds in the beach erosion is going to be heavy rain, two four even 6 inches of rainfall in a short period of time. Not a great travel day. Ashley that is some forecast, we have been warned. Thank you very much, much appreciated. Lets move on, good to see you. Texas republicans are suing houston democrat mayor after he blocked the Convention Just one week out from the actual event. We will head to the states gop on that. Tiktok activists added again, trolling the president and leaving hundreds of negative reviews on his official 2020 campaign app, we will tell you why this matters. By the way President Trump turning his attention to hispanic American Voters ahead of the election. Roll that tape. Hispanic americans are cherished, members of earned National Family have been integral part of building this country throughout all of american history. Ashley guess what the ceo of goya foods was there, wait until to a boycott of goya products. That story coming up. Looks like they picked the wrong getaway driver. We are all truly blessed to have a leader who is a builder, that is what my grandfather did, she came to this country to grow to prosper and we have an incredible building in our leadership in our president and our country. We pray that we will continue to prosper and to grow. Ashley all of that sounds very reasonable, the ceo and president of goya foods, frequent guest on the show bob, he was praising the president s leadership and that by the way has got some customers fired up, democrats calling for a boycott, can you believe, goya foods has been a staple of so many latino households for generations, now the ceo bob is praising the president who villain eyes is a malicious attack with tinas for political gain, american should think twice before buying their products. Goya way. Interesting stuff, can you believe it, lets bring in daniel, initiative president , daniel, u. S. The white house yesterday with the president and the head of goya, how do you respond to this pushback, the backlash against someone who said that he is part of the american dream. Mr. Webster, america should feel absolutely free to express their political opinion, to express appreciation, when they see a president whod promises and delivers on the promises and less regulation, defending religious liberty issues, expanding energy production, principal judges, all these things we talked about in the meeting that we had with the president he was expressing his satisfaction with a lot of these issues, its a perfect administration, of course not. In the latino owned businesses, this is not exercise, this is not discourse, this is etiological bullying meant to stifle speech and get to groupthink. It is unacceptable. Ashley it is indeed, i want to point out, in the next hour we will speak with goya foods president about the boycott and other issues brief stay tuned for that. Daniel, moving on, i want to talk about the hispanic vote in the country, as of 2019, there are little more than 60 million hispanics living here, it is the largest minority group, by the way they gave Hillary Clinton quite an advantage back in 2016, beating out trump by a 38point margin. It was not even close. Those who say there could be a key to winning in november, the question daniel, how is the president trying to win them over, and is he doing a good job . As a political observer, i can tell you there was a lot of worry in the media platforms on spanish and english language and the antagonism against the Latino Community. Heres the deal, the difference between then and now, the president has a record of governing, i just explained a lot of the issues that were discussed in the meeting, there was a lot of satisfaction by millions of latinos across the country and as a result of the policies that have been into blunted in the past and approved by the president , they have been an economic bonanza where the Latino Community benefited from, recommended for employment and participation rates, record rage growth, home ownership. On every score, latinos are thriving in the economy, right before the recession hit that was imposed by government. What we need to do to get back to the policies and latinos no they are going to need leadership that is going to focus on lessening the restrictions, opening up more innovation in the private sector like telehealth where a doctor doesnt have to be the same room as a patient, this is good stuff and we should include the policies policies. Ashley thank you very much for your insight today. Thank you. Lets check the market for you, the dow turning positive up 32 points, its been drifting around in the morning session, the s p essentially flat down slightly in the nasdaq down three tenths of 8 . Next one, novak, the biotech firm that just received 1. 6 billion from the federal government for their virus vaccine, susan, they were not always backs successful, was quite the opposite. Susan we love success stories, a year ago in may this company was a penny stock trading at 36 cents and even at those levels, novak completing a reverse stock split to get the stock price up but it did not work in 2019, this week stocks rallied, 32 in one day on tuesday when it was to get 1. 6 billion from the federal government to produce a covid vaccine, not bad for Company Whose Christmas Party was pizza and cola. Novavaxs expected to have 30000 produce bids starting sometime in the fall but top rates up there for a vaccine, lots of players including my dharna which rallied yesterday as Anthony Fauci said and confirmed that phase three trial for their vaccine will start this month as scheduled, you also have my own instead, these are the game changer in the world to the economy are functioning normally until we get a vaccine. Ashley yep. In every positive headline helps the market. Lets take a look at amazon, we have to hit another alltime earlier today, up this morning down ten bucks at 31. 72. But the question is do they continue their streak from here, anything. They just raised their risk targets, is 3550, that the level and we have earnings on july 22, analysts are forecasting amazon to make a small profit sending billions during covid with the surgeon Online Shopping and itll be catapulting amazon stock in the profits. In surprising analyst, only four of them are predicting the stock would be about 3000 where it is right now, one of these i want to highlight, and looks to be completing 1. 3 billion acquisition of the self driving startup and according to reports they are paying out 100 million to keep most of the key players in place otherwise that deal might fall apart. That is something to watch for, this is an all cash deal, 1. 3 billion, you cannot find that unless its in amazon that will pay out with a lot of cash. Ashley they have not found it. Thank you very much. The big ten announcing new limits on sports competition, this will have a big impact on College Football season this fall, we will get into that issue, House Republicans inviting new social media platforms to weigh in on a big antitrust investigation, and build the self as a freespeech network, its favored among conservatives, the question is what role with the company play on capitol hill. Coming up next. Just over a year ago, i was drowning in Credit Card Debt. Sofi helped me pay off twentythree thousand dollars of Credit Card Debt. Whatever. I want to get the latest if we cannot tick tock, the popular social media apps from china, growing criticism for alleged ties to beijing, what that could mean, susan, the company trying to distance itself from china, how. Susan in considering several changes including placing its headquarters outside of china in changing tiktok Corporate Structure and the wall street reporting Senior Executives are discussing options including a new management. It just hired kevin meyer in the new ceo who is still in los angeles, tiktok has not established a new city for its headquarters just yet, singapore, dublin, london being considered, the changes are likely motivated by President Trump in the white house who this week said they are considering a ban of the social media app in the u. S. , tiktok one of the most downloaded apps in the planet, downloaded 315 million times in the first three months of this year which brings a total of 2. 2 billion downloads, that is a Record Number downloads in just one single quarter for any apt according to data, theres concerns over National Security which stems from the ownership in the viable start up in the world which is where the 150 billion in the recent round of fundraising because its own attorney company, there are concerns that the government could force tiktok to hand over user data, officials in several countries have expressed concern about the volume of data that tiktok downloads from users in u. S. State and Defense Department employees are not allowed to download tiktok on their users in their government and their concerns, but tiktok to us say that they are not linked back to the chinese government. Ashley it is whether people buy that were not, thank you very much. 15 million downloads in a month, thank you. Thousands of tiktok users in the Popular Video app have flocked to the apple store to flood the president s 2020 campaign out with negative reviews, on wednesday alone, 700 negative reviews were left on the official term 2020 apt, does this make any difference, lets bring in kurt knutson, why does this matter, what are they hoping to achieve . Does it affect . It is onward tiktok versus the trump administration. Here is their goal, lets vote this down and maybe apple will take it out of the app store, it does not work like that, apple does not make decisions based on the popularity of an app, they make decisions based on complaints of guideline and policy. Even though theyve driven the fivestar potential review down to 1. 4 and one point to stars at this point, it is really not going to affect whether it is presented in the app store or not. Have added, have your battle, it really isnt going to do much. Ashley thats what i think, next one, republicans want to hear from the ceo of parlor on the state of competition in social media ahead of a major big tech antitrust hearing later this telling us if platform is different, roll the tape. Her main focus is history speech, the idea that theres no political censorship, a town square for people to get together and have conversations whether its about politics, about their hobbies or whatever it might be. But without the idea that there is somebody looking over their shoulder, we really just want to do that while retaining peoples right to privacy. Ashley freespeech simply put, what role could they play in the major crackdown. All of that is very true about what john just said about the company that he is struggling to get traction for since mid2018, largely parlor were talking about is an alternative to twitter and other social media apps, largely populated by people who have been kicked off of the traditional big Tech Services and largely attracting a big boy score hate including neonazi speech and antisemitism, antifeminist speech, the idea that representative jordan inviting him to the floor of congress is to me is like inviting you over for a steak dinner and putting garbage on a plane trying to pass it off as nutritious, it is truly not appropriate to bring that into the setting against big tech, it is a distraction from what we really care about, what we really care about is that no tech billionaire should have the power to decide what you and i see or if we should have a vehicle to reach other people, we simply need to have that and its called section 230, a law we put into play in the 1990s, it does not belong here anymore, it protects them from liability, really is stems from how users leave comments on websites and now theyve taken it off to another stratosphere protection were Tech Companies are saying, we can do anything we want and you cannot tell us that we cant. Ashley who is keeping an eye on the gatekeeper. Quite an image to leave it on, great stuff as always. You too sir. A heat wave is expected to make its rate across most of the country. It is to light after all through next week, a force that could spell Higher Energy bills and youre going to crank the ac, what could it look like. 10 15 increase in utility bills for a third of americans in looking at the numbers and Research Says americans household could be spending 2 to 37 more on their monthly utility bills this summer and those big cities will likely pay a little bit more over the west coast, it might be spared in this case because its already expensive, for instance if you live in boston 27 per month, philadelphia 37, new york 34, l. A. 17 more in San Francisco pay an extra eight telling per month, not just air conditioner running overtime in this heatwave but state home orders, that means weve been using a lot of water, power and internet and every recession has led to lower energy use but not this time around because its different, we have homeschooling to take care of, show watching and binging on our couches and videoconferencing on zoom. Ashley using a lot of electricity, thank you very much. Now this, los angeles considering three imposing the stayathome order to california records its highest number of virus cases, the question is this really necessary, steve hilton will be a long and hes fired up about this and he will be on the show in the next hour. K12 learning, as research told us about this company yesterday, they offer Online Learning and the stock is been writing higher since the beginning of the pandemic, but the president wants students back in the classroom in this fall, what happens if kids eventually do return, ill ask the ceo of k12 education coming up. And k12 they specifically will take School Districts and put them online for the next five years the School Districts make their budget, they will probably double or triple revenues, once this market realizes it, they will get the multiple, the same multiple as their competitors to and that is three times sales and fourtime sales which takes easily over 70. Ashley thats what you call a bullish forecast, you gotta like to hear that, what do you make of it . I appreciate your optimism but there is no way i can predict the future in terms of where we will be. I do know we are the Largest Online educator in the country, weve been doing it for 20 years, the students that we serve graduating 8000 students a year end theres a lot of interest in what we do particular in the really entryway that the challenges facing this pandemic. We want to help and weve been working with School Districts, answering a lot of questions, School Districts of allstars, some of the largest and smallest. This is the time when you want to come together and make sure our expertise is being used in the way that benefits families and children in need. Ashley the president as part of his push to reopen classrooms has said the children stuck at home doing learning online is has an educational cost, then not getting the full experience and they need to be back in the classroom, how would you respond to that. I will say this, we have been running nearly fully online programs for students in this country for 20 years and we like to say, full Online Learning is not for everyone but it could be for anyone, we have a lot of children and families that benefit from it, we have to make the distinction between many families have experience between the School Districts over the past several months, emergency Online Learning is not a fulltime Online Learning that is distributed by an expert in the field. As we have conversations, we let them know that some of the emergency that they have taken really have not been as robust for children because they may not have a secure platform. They may not have a curriculum that is available and meaningful for an Online Education transportation. And it may not have the teacher training, a great teacher in a brickandmortar setting can be a great teacher in an online setting but they need to be trained, we do that and those are the things that were talking to the School District about so that people will have to be in emergency mode, theyll be in the hands of experienced teachers to help make sure meaningful engaging experience for kids. Ashley i get the distinction, very good, we are out of time but thank you so much. K12 Online Learning, we thank you for your time and being on the show today. Thank you. Thank you very much. Ashley the College Football season perhaps in jeopardy, lets bring in top big ten they will only play Conference Games pretell me more. This news shocked the College Football world about what it could pretend for the season on the whole and it doesnt seem good, 42 big ten nonConference Games canceled, meaning we will not see huge matchups like michigan and washington, ohio state and oregon, wisconsin versus notre dame, those feel like ballgames, their big money makers. Now the question becomes will the other conferences follow suit, the sec telling cbs had no comment although the missouri Athletic Director did say a conference only schedule could be decided by late july, they are also reports that the big 12 is taking a similar approach, the athletic rooster ellman reported that the acc is reporting a conference only schedule but get this, plans to weed independent notre dame into the mix and the pack 12 reportedly moving to a conference only schedule with an announcement expected in the coming days and the really concerning thing, Athletic Director wendy this is the tip of the iceberg. Ashley not good news for college experts. Thank you very much great lets get back to your money, tesla and nikola, electric carmakers, those stocks have been surging but some investors a little bearish. Why. Susan we started off with the victory lab by elon musk who is killing the shorts, the Company Stock close to 250 rally in the stock, he was selling it red short shorts for 64. 420, that is not stop the Hedge Fund Investors who will unmask a 20 billiondollar bet that tesla will eventually fall. The fox Business Market Charlie Brady points out across 20 billion in value because of stock prices across the record high, about 1400 a piece, but in terms of actual share being shorted, the lowest number in nine years, 15 million, meantime tesla is not the only favorite, another electric car called nikola jumped from the ipo price at one point and up 40 in the past week and it doesnt have any sales, no deliveries of the electric truck that people like to short the stock because its run up so much but with the stock rallies and we have seen in nikola and tesla might be a result of the shortfall having to buy back the shares because the stocks will not go down to the short sellers lose money, we call this a short squeeze when youre being forced to buy the stock because it will not fall. Ashley interesting, no sales, no deliveries, no problem. Thank you very much. Real Estate Developers are moving into zombie malls converting them into apartments would you want to live in the mall, or live in the food court, will show you what it looks like you next hour, President Trump holding a rally in New Hampshire tomorrow, three weeks after his rally in tulsa, i want to know what turnout they are expected and whats the plan to keep everyone socially distant, i will be asking the Republican Party chairman next. And because we dont know exactly when this crisis is going to be over and we dont know exactly when the stock market will reach its bottom, weve got to be prepared for this to last a long time. If you assume that youre out of work for nine months but you end up only being out of work for. Me too. Me too. And if youre a small business, were with you. Standing by you every step of the way. Ashley we have turned things around on the market, the dow up 154point and positive news on vaccine for, 19, the s p up to 10 and nasdaq down to tens of a present. Now this, turning to politics, President Trump sent a hold a rally in New Hampshire, this will be held outdoors following a low turnout, indoor event tulsa oklahoma. Lets bring in stephen, the chairman of the New Hampshire republican panel, great to see you. Is the theories of being outside will keep people safe . Thank you so much for having me this morning, i really appreciate, we are very excited to have this rally andck, yes, t that we will have plenty of hand sanitizer, everybody will be provided masks and encouraged to wear them, and being outside we will be able to practice social distancing and have a very successful rally and i think quite frankly the attendees of the rallies will be significantly safer than for example the people who are protesting recently. Ashley , the polls continue to show the president losing to former Vice President joe biden, if you believe them in the state, as you know he lost the state to Hillary Clinton by less than half a point in 2016, the question being can the president pull out a winner New Hampshire this time around. Absolutely, as you know we lost by 2736 votes on the last time around which you based on almost over 407,000 votes were cast. I go back to the polling and what i use as an example because i think the president always over performs, when we were having a primary unit in 2016 and 17 candidates running, the night before the pole, unh poll came out and had the president at the time, donald trump at 16point, he was at 21point, the next closest candidate was john kasich who was at 17point and everybody said, if donald trump only wins by two or three points, his campaign is done. While the very next day when the actual votes were counted, donald trump had 34. 7 in case a cad 19 . That is a significant swing over a 12 are in. Ashley it certainly is. What we find with polling in the president , most of the people, i called them closet trump supporters, they dont enhance, they dont ordinarily even enhance him correctly. Ashley were coming up on something a hard break, i have to go but i want to wish you all the good times, im sure you will have a lot of fun, thank you for joining us. Thank you very much, we will have more money coming right up. Im a performer. Always have been. And always will be. Never letting anything get in my way. Not the doubts, distractions, or voice in my head. And certainly not arthritis. New voltaren provides powerful arthritis pain relief to help me keep moving. And it can help you too. Feel the joy of movement with voltaren. Stuart lady gaga plays a little rain on me and its 11 a. M. On the east coast new york city bracing for a Tropical Storm today and its already a little wet and damp out there the wind will pick up and that storm churning up the east coast right now and at the same time, the president is flying down to florida for a meeting on drug trafficking, he is expected to land in just about an hour from now. Good morning, everybody im Ashley Webster in today for Stuart Varney any hell be back next week but lets check the market a nice turnaround the dow up triple digits the nasdac up. 2 of a percent and trying to get back into positive territory, although its done very well of late, but right now, 10, 526 on the nasdac and now this. I want you to check the nasdac because we talk about it a lot. Its been having a huge week. I want to bring in market watch er brian bellski to talk about this. Look tech stocks hitting record day after day, just ask our viewers we talk about it day after day because its happening but you say the bears are missing it. Explain. Yeah, good morning, ashley. The term is really all about the disrespect with respect to the nasdac hitting these new highs and if you really think about it and you have to add perspective to this you have to remember, ashley, that in 2017, 2018 and 2019 apple was one of the most hated stocks in the world by Portfolio Managers because they had to maintain a large position because it got so big so what happened when you started to see distributions out of mutual funds they had to use apple to sell the stock and grant these distributions, and the assets were massively under weight not only apple but technology and given the fact the Technology Sector has clearly led the way some of the chicken littles that have been calling for a bear market or a recession have completely missed this move and now all of a sudden they are looking at these new highs every day just saying it cant be real its like 2000, but from a valuation perspective, the valuation comparison is like comparing apples to coconuts. Ashley [laughter] yeah, okay, i get your point and they are out on a huge gain for the Big Tech Companies but brian you say you also like the big banks you say to buy the money Center Center centers even though Interest Rates are so low make your case. We want to buy those banks and Asset Managers and brokerage s that scalable. Regional banks have a hard time making money when interest margins are so tight but if you look at the operations of jpmorgan, morgan stanley, goldman sachs, they are have multiple divisions and can live and die by quarterly analyst estimates and growth with respect to Capital Markets or Wealth Management or commercial banking where regional banks are tied to the loan side of things so thats why from a Portfolio Management perspective were saying having a higher tracking error and own bigger positions in the big banks in the brokers. Ashley you know, brian when you look at the headlines so many of the headlines these days talk about nerves and investors on edge about resurgence of covid19 cases. Do you really think investors in the markets are reflecting that because i think with the Economic Data, that weve been getting that the economy is perhaps doing better than what these people believe its doing and that the market is still pretty optimistic. Absolutely, and i think, you know, i think we learned our lesson, we meaning the investor base, we spend way too much time learning about remdesivir, and hydroxychloroquine and epidemiology and all these words in march and we took our eye off the ball and listened to these as i said last time i was on your show, bombastically negatively forecast and look at those macro headlines get in the way of our investing and so i think thats why the markets continue to go higher not just because of that but because of fundamentals but listen the United States stock market is the strongest stock market in the world with the best companies, canada is not too far behind by the way and the under investment of u. S. Equities is thats whats happening right now as more people put money back to work, not only in the United States but from around the world, owning u. S. Stocks. Ashley and we have probably more stinks whether its a trillion, 2 trillion, whatever it is coming in, plus the feds will do whatever it needs to do, so you should be getting comfort from that as well. We do, and you saw the ppi numbers this morning too, ashley and negative ppi means the fed isnt going to do anything any time soon so you do have that liquidity bump and dont fight the fed and the u. S. With respect to fundamental strength. Ashley just dont fight period, all right, brian thank you so much, for joining us, this morning. We much appreciate it on this friday. Lets take a look at netflix. Hitting an alltime high today, we say it every day its up another 15 and thats 523, Binge Watching rules apparently up another 3 so netflix take a look at amazon. That stock is well its been a little off today although turning or trying to turn it around but down 10 but so what still at 31. 71 has hit an alltime high for the sixth day in a row earlier in the session amazon just motoring on. Take a look at tesla talking of motoring. Short sellers are betting 20 billion that the stock will fall. But guess what . Tesla has been on a terror this week its up again this week another 20 or close to 1,413 for tesla. Hog, harleydavidson, bad news for them are cutting 700 jobs around the world although the stock itself is up more than 1 at 26 for harley take a look at United Airlines reached a deal with the pilots union for early retirement and voluntary furloughs. United planning to cut 40 of their workforce by october. Thats a large number of folks. The stock though up 1 today at 31. 19. Yes, we will check big tech. Weve been talking about these record highs all this week but susan . Lets switch a little bit of a direction here, could insurance stocks be the next big ball . Theyre under valued according to one of the largest Institutional Investors in the world talking about t row t row price who says its a great buying opportunity because it hasnt run up as much as tesla or amazons so investors are not touching insurance during these coronavirus times because they are really concerned they have fear of higher claims, at least through covid that they have to pay out. Take a look at Warren Buffetts berkshire hathaway, in performance to the s p or the oracle of Omaha Company in 19 years, the market watch is making the argument that several factors point to buying opportunity, when it comes to these insurance names. First of all, insiders are buying big time and when executives buy their own stock thats usually a good sign. Secondly when claims go up so do the prices for insurance policies and thats positive for insurers. Third, investors are pricing a wave of lawsuits, and forces insurers to pay out for the covidrelated losses but in reality most interruption policies are exempt from pandemics and they are arguing to Pay Attention to this. Listen. It is really welcomed by folks who are just used to getting everything on their phone in realtime, we take something thats historically been very complex, and a little bit opaque and we make it easy and seamless and make it delightful for a customer to get custom coverage. And its delightful to have new modern names to buy into, right . Ashley yes, it is, indeed. Susan thank you very much. Interesting. Insurance, it may be the next bull sector if you like. Now lets bring in david asman. David great to see you. David great to see you its delightful to be here. Ashley its great to have you we have this news that americans are actually shrinking their Credit Card Debt. Thats a good thing right . David it basically just means theyre buying less. Lets face it in the coronavirus times, and with all of the riots going on and the people are worried people are concerned they are just not spending as much. 996 billion is the Credit Card Debt thats now being held. Thats about 100 billion less than what it was back in february, before the lockdowns began. So thats about 100 billion less spending thats going on with credit cards of course thats hurting American Express and visa and other credit card companies. It could easily turn around. Its a lot more debt than what we saw back in 2011 after the financial crisis. Then it went down to 833 billion, so theres chance of a pickup. It depends on whether theres a second wave or not, and by the way theres revolving debt which is Credit Card Debt and nonrevolving debt and the mortgages, car loan, Student Loans nonrevolving debt is about exactly where it was back in february. Its really the Credit Card Debt thats a problem here and again, its reflective of whats happening in the economy, consumers are buying less, period. Ashley buying less, using those cards less, good point, david thank you. Next one, lets take a look at uber if we can. Susan, they are letting some drivers now set their own prices is that right . So when during these really busy times like rush hour, or when it rains for instance, uber usually has what is called surge, meaning you have to pay a higher rate to get a car because theres just so much demand out there and now uber is allowing more california cities to set their own multiplier rate so they can choose two times, three times or more, the regular rate during these surge times. San francisco including the surrounding areas will join other cities like sacramento, Santa Barbara and palm springs and previously drivers had no ability to set their own rates and now they can in those specific cities and the motivation is a California Workers bill known as ab 5 which wants to force uber and lyft to pay their drivers as employees with benefits and vacation instead of just independent contractors, and the argument being made by government is that drivers should be classified as employee s, because they have no flexibility, so this pricing change is meant to give more independence to drivers, and we know uber and lyft have been able to get around this worker bill ab 5 which went into effect on january 1 by suing the state and pushing for a new bill which if passed will exempt Economy Companies like uber, like lyft from this rule but this just a little added sweetener to get more of the government on the side. Ashley right. Well see if that works susan, thank you very much as we head to the break, the dow up 174 points, some optimism now about those treatments for covid19. Well get more into that. Meanwhile, texas looking at covid reporting nearly 10,000 new virus cases in just one day and the governor now predicts next week could be even worse so what does that mean for struggl ing businesses . Well discuss that issue, and the president of goya says he will not apologize for supporting the president , despite growing calls to boycott the company. This is a remarkable story. That man, joins us, live in just a few minutes to make his case, and joe biden, oh, yeah hes unveiling his economic plan. Take a listen. And its time Corporate America paid their fair share of taxes. Ashley in a nutshel thats it. And more taxes, we will ask steve hilton what he thinks about that, i can tell you hes fired up, next. What do you look for when you trade . I want free access to research. Yep, td ameritrades got that. Free access to every platform. Mhm, yeah, that too. I dont want any trade minimums. Yeah, i totally agree, they dont have any of those. I want to know what im paying upfront. Yes, absolutely. Do you just say yes to everything . Hm. Well i say no to kale. Mm. Yeah, they say if you blanch it its better, but that seems like a lot of work. Now offering zero commissions on online trades. We charge you less so you have more to invest. I geh. Common bird. E. Ooh look over here something much better. There it is. Peacock, included with xfinity x1. Remarkable. Fascinating. Very. It streams tons of your favorite shows and movies, plus the latest in sports news and. Huh run the newest streaming app has landed on xfinity x1. Now thats. Simple. Easy. Awesome. Xfinity x1 just got even better with peacock premium included at no additional cost. No strings attached. Just say peacock into your voice remote to start watching today. And in time Corporate America paid their fair share of taxes. Im going to raise it back up to 28, provide hundreds of billions of dollars to invest to the growth in this country and the days of amazon paying nothing in federal income tax will be over. Ashley well, its a familiar theme, is it not, thats former Vice President joe biden, outlining his economic plan. He wants to end the era he says of shareholder capitalism, raise the Corporate Tax rate, and spend 700 billion on manufacturing and innovation. Okay, lets bring in steve hilton, perfect person to discuss this. Host of the next revolution on fox news steve great to see you. Look, you say this is a recipe for an economic slump. Steve yes, i mean, its not an economic plan its total economic ill literacy. The simple point is this what you just highlighted there. Theyre promising reverse the policies, tax cuts, and deregulation dont forget that, that provided that created the lowest unemployment for half a century, and earnings rises faster for those working at the bottom of the income scale than those at the top, the first type thats happened for 50 years, so you have new jobs and pay rises for American Workers as a result of tax cuts and deregulation. They want reverse that. If you reverse the policy, you reverse the outcome. Youll have fewer jobs, and more stagnation that youve had for decades on top of all of that never mind the basic economics, this is an unbelievably left wing platform, the loony left really have taken over just like in the uk where jeremycorbin took off the labor party but the only difference is the guy at the top is a puppet of the loony left here with biden and in the uk you have the actual guy in charge but the policy agenda is the same. Ashley it very much is, i dont know why im laughing but your characterization is spot on. Steve want you to look at this well move on to this issue new york city mayor bill deblasio painting black lives matter right outside of trump tower. Yes its a publicity stunt. You know, look black lives matter is a political organization. The question being is would he let republicans paint on fifth avenue, do you think . Steve its absolutely, its really despicable because they same time hes doing this publicity stunt, and paint ing slogans on the street, real black lives, actual black people, are being killed on his streets, because of his own in competence and his policies with regard to policing and everything else, so its just the most cynical and disgusting empty gesture kind of performati ve wokeness and every new yorker should be sickened by this and you cant really, hes coming to the end of his time anyway, so, thank goodness for that, but he really needs to be held to account for this. Ashley yeah, he really does meanwhile, while hes painting happily on fifth avenue the crime rate is going through the roof. Were going to switch from new york to the other coast, now california. Your home state, steve. California recorded more than 7,000 new virus cases on thursday. 7,031 to be exact. Now, los angeles, to yourself, is considering another stayathome order. I mean, is that necessary, really, to stop the spread . I think they literally dont understand what this virus is, or how it works. The whole point of everything we were doing was to flatten the curve so that you avoid a crash on the hospitals. Were nowhere near that in california. The governor keeps updating us hes in the low percentage figures the proportion of the hospital beds, and the idea that you just keep everything shut down so you dont get any cases is ridiculous when most cases, the vast majority of cases, the completely harmless for most people, of course youre going to get more cases when you do two things. Open up the economy, which has been happening steadily, so that people mix with each other, and test more people. This is totally predictable. Its actually good news as dr. Scott atlas from hoover said because it moves us further forward to the point where the virus cant spread any more so its completely ridiculous, to look at these numbers and think its an excuse to rollback the reopenings which should be speeding up. Ashley and do they not understand the damage thats done to the economy, once these orders go in place . I mean its very hard to recover from. Steve well this actually goes to their philosophy and connects to the earlier conversation about biden and the loony left. They genuinely believe that government can be a good substitute for the free market economy. Thats what they think. They have no problem shutting everything down. They say oh, fine, governor well take care of it all. Its so destructive. Ashley all right well i have to leave it there, but steve hilton as always fired up. So much to go to these days steve its great to be in the tv business. Thanks so much. By the way, as always, you can watch steves show, the next revolution sunday at 9 00 p. M. On the fox news channel. Do not miss that. Steve hilton, great stuff. Lets head to hollywood. Susan, movie production while no big surprise but at a record low myself with that Hollywood Sign next to it, well yes, hollywood screeching last quarter plummeting 97. 89 so only 194 shooting days compared to the apriljune period last year and during the Second Quarter we had tv production was down 98 , 52 shooting days and commercial production dropping 95 an here is the killer. Film production completely shut down 99 drop only three shooting days for films, and now hollywood has a green light to restart shoots, but theres a lot of precautions coming back very slowly. La though is a city built on freelancers and its been hit especially hard during the stayathome orders. Ashley now on to this story that seems to go on and on billionaire hung fund guy steve cohen offering 2 billion for the new york mets but dont worry, not that i was, but they are still in the game. How much did they give . Not quite the 2 billion that cohen pow ened up but jlow arod competitive at 1. 7 billion according to the New York Post they have the funding and the bid will keep them in the game at least for now and the mets owners, the wilpon family reportedly prefer to sell it to the rodriguez and jlow group which comes from florida panther s owner, so steve cohen pays a quarter of a billion dollars more than the closest rival bid in order to win the mets so thats where the 2 billion price tag comes from but thats actually less than cohens previous bid at 2. 6 billion so negotiations there fell apart at the last minute but didnt jlo say that love doesnt cost a thing . Ashley well i dont think anyone believes that but okay. If she did, david asman, i know you wanted to get in on this. What do you have to say . David its a wonderful story because the wilpons cant stand Financial Guys like cohen but they might be stuck and have to take his higher price, because hes offering so much and of course he just made 600 million if he gets a 2 billion deal because he offer ed 2. 6 and that deal fell apart, came back now after covid and after the riots and everything, and its clear that he should be very happy, he should be celebrating the fact that that deal fell apart but again, i think the wilpons would much rather have arod and steve cohen really wants to get his hands in the business and that makes the wilpons very nervous. Ashley david thank you i want to check sony very quickly theyre making a big investment into epic games, susan. I love epic games the create or of fortnite which is the most popular game on the planet with over 350 million registered gam ers and its a streaming player now too with its stream ing of the movie tenant with more than 12 million viewer s comparable to netflix and more so nearly 2 billion in sales last year, and just from fortnite alone and epic games has house party which is the millennial Video Conferencing service downloaded over 50 million times at last count in march and probably more since then, but the jewel of the crown is something you may not have heard of calledunreal engine a software that licenses to other companies, film creators and designers so film sony saw a pretty Good Opportunity and invested a quarter of a billion dollars for a Minority Stake and it make sense that sony is a force when it comes to gaming with its playstation, epic games by the way with this fundraising valued at around 17 billion and some say probably more than that in the future. Ashley nothing to snip at for sure susan, thank you. As we head to the break, lets check what we can, those plant based Meat Companies helping to boost sales at a major supermarket chain, and today the stock though down 5 but well tell you where, coming up. And the president of goya foods is slammed for just merely praising President Trump but no one is mentioning the reason why he was at the white house, ex ceo will join us live, next. Our company was founded in 1936 by my grandfather who left spain at only 18 years old. Were all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump whose a builder and thats what my grandfather did. He came to this country to build , to grow, to prosper. Ashley that was the head of goya foods comparing his grand father to President Trump at the white house. So, you think that was a good comment, but they have quickly turned into criticism. Lets bring in bob unanue president of goya foods the man you just saw at the white house. Bob great to have you here and now you have calls to boycott your company. What do you want to say to those people calling for that boycott . Its great to see you again, ashley and nice to talk with you again. Ashley thank you. Youre doing a great job filling in for stuart. Ashley thank you. You know, this call for a boycott, theres so many people against the boycott and for our company, so its just a reflection i believe of a division that exists today in our country. I dont know who i attribute this quote to, but weve lived by the philosophy of there are those who are born to love and to build and others to hate and destroy and unfortunately, this great divide is killing our nation. Were tearing down statues of jesus christ. I mean, we choose to love and to build and thats what weve been doing looking for prosperity, building, giving back. You know, Abraham Lincoln had the great quote. A house divided against itself cannot stand and this can be the destruction of our nation. We are at that point and we need to continue to love and to build , to make a difference and to give back to our neighbors. Ashley very well said. Were all in this together. I want to, bob, if we can get back to why you were at the white house it was for the unveiling of the hispanics prosperity initiative. Whats President Trump doing to support the Hispanic Community . Well like i said, the Hispanic Community is the number one hispanic, we are the United States, the number one hispanic country in the world after mexico and as that for what the president is looking to do, and the initiative is called the White House Initiative on hispanic prosperity and of course what the president is looking to do is to bring in hispanic leaders and to see how we can continue to contribute to productivities of hispanics. Hispanics open more businesses at three times the rate of others. The contribution of the Hispanic Community over the years has been incredible, so hispanic prosemens u. S. Productivities and thats, we want to build a better nation, a better country. We want to build and that be through education, through economics, and so for example, our company we do donations, we do scholarships and things like that so you need to be involved in the education so anything that we can do to help in that effort, to build, to love, and to create opportunities for education, for economic opportunities, we are with the president , were with this country, right, left, center, up and down. Ashley i think thats a good place to leave it right there, bob unanue, thank you so much for joining us today, congratulations on the initiative and continue to fight the good fight we do appreciate you being a part of this show. Youve been on many times and its great to have you today too thank you, bob. Thank you, ashley. God bless. Ashley all right, thank you. Same to you. Now, all right, lets change topics here, considerably. Shopping malls around the country are closing their doors. We know that, but you could soon get a key inside or at least to get inside. Jeff flock is at the Yorktown Center in lombard, illinois. Jeff are people really moving into shopping malls is that the new use for these big shopping behemeths . Reporter i tell you it could be ashley youre looking at what could be the future of the american shopping mall. Yes they have the big anchor stores increasingly, gyms for example, that sort of thing as well as maybe the jc penney anchor store out there but beyond that look at that. That is something that you dont typically see at a mall. That be residential. Apartments and condominiums here in lombard at the Yorktown Center they converted space to about 200 apartments for what they call folks active living. That means people old like me, as well as additional apartments for others, and its the mu mecca of whatever from a mall outside seattle called the Alderwood Mall to here in chicago and another one to the north called Northbrook Court taking an old macys and turning that into an Apartment Building as well. Five story Apartment Building. Why . Well take a look at these number s its no surprise, store closing. We thought it was bad in 2018 when we had about 5,000 plus store closing and then 2019 it almost doubled. That was an alltime record. This year the forecast is between 20 and 25,000 store closing and the vast majority of those are at shopping malls. These folks have been out in front of the curve i think a little bit because theyve already got this housing built. Some of the other malls are just considering it or have it in plan. Youve got to change the zoning but once you do that, people come to the mall. You know, i think one of my ex wives lived at the mall but now she literally could. Ashley [laughter] oh, jeff flock, i was waiting for that great stuff as always. Yes, yes, i can hear the big sigh. I might be interested in a studio in the food court that could be interesting but anyway jeff flock, as always, terrific stuff thank you, jeff. Lets move on, bars and restaurants why not . Well in nevada theyve got to re close their doors tonight. The governor ordering the shutdown as the virus cases surge, so how long could that last . Well take a look as the struggle goes on to get the economy up and running full time. Also, a spike in texas forcing houston to cancel the states Republican National convention now the party is suing. Well have the latest on that fight, next. Were gonna play in texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band, that lead guitar is hot marco. polo marco. polo marco. polo marco. polo marco. polo si . Marco. polo scusa . Marco. polo ma io sono marco polo, ma playing marco polo with marco polo . Surprising. Ragazzini, io sono marco polo. Si, sono qui whats not surprising . Geico helping you save even more on car and motorcycle insurance. Ahhh. Polo. Marco. polo now get an extra 15 credit when you switch before october 7th. Ashley all right, a group of people in jacksonville, florida, is suing to stop the Rnc Convention taking place there next month. This comes as the party considers holding Outdoor Events as virus cases rise in florida, no formal plans have been announced just yet and in texas, the mayor of houston is canceling the states Rnc Convention as virus spikes there lets bring in james dickey chairman of the texas Republican Party and james great to have you on this morning. You are suing now, to hold an in Person Convention and i guess the question is, is that a good idea as we see the number of cases rise . Well the point has to be that we cannot give up all of our important rights and responsibilities permanently and forever. I mean, people who talk about oh , well just stay locked down until there is a cure, until there is a vaccine and we have viruses which weve never had a vaccine and were not going to and weve already heard it is mutating. This has got to be about responsible people being careful and showing that we can move forward safely, and the mayors own attorneys in the lawsuit in the hearing we had in District Court in houston yesterday made it very clear this was not about safety. This was about democrats shutting down republican free speech. They literally suggested that the same convention that they say is not safe to have when we can space out at onethird the capacity of the hall be just fine if we moved it 40 miles up the road and had it in a hall that was onefourth the size, so if for them it was never about safety. It was about disrupting and dis en franchising vote voters and thats the other thing this is not some association of folks who want to get together about new business practices. Even though that is essential activity as well, this is critical election activity. We are literally at our convention, electing the president ial electors for the state of texas, for januarys president ial vote by the electoral college. This could not be more serious, could not be more protected and the mayor is way out of line. Ashley so my question to followup then, james, is where does the lawsuit stand . You had a hearing. What could you get from the judge . Did he accept that argument . Well not at all surprisingly the judge kept bringing in a bunch of arguments that the lawyers handt even made, unfortunately of other judicial activism weve seen. It didnt really address the claims we had, but denied their claim so we are appealing it and we have a right there is specific texas law that makes it very clear that even an elected official, if they interfere with critical duties of voting and political conventions that can be appealed directly to the state Supreme Court and that is where we are right this minute. Ashley well we wish you the very best, good luck with that appeal, james dickey, thanks for joining us today trying to get the Convention Underway in the houston area, thank you very much appreciate it. Lets check novavax if we can this is the company the government is giving them 1. 6 billion to fund their vaccine research, big news for a company that was relatively unknown, just back in january for that matter but its up again today about 1 at 97 and lets look at starbucks starting next week, you will be required to wear a mask to enter any of their cafes, even if the state or city doesnt mandate it. Thats the word from starbucks, essentially flat today at 73. 51 all right move over hamburgers and hot dogs because we are eating more plantbased meat. Im not sure if david asman is a fan, but tell me, david which store is seeing a huge spike in that fake meat . David kroger and no im not a fan at all but a lot of people out there are and this is more covid market effects because what happened is we had those meat shortages or at least the perception that made a lot of people go to their supermarkets and buy some of this fake plantbased meat. I just am not a big fan but kroger has seen a 75 increase in sales of this plantbased meat in that critical period between march and june, right at the heart of the lockdowns, throughout america, and you know , they sell beyond meat and simple truth and all those brand s that were familiar of. One thing that they notice is that when they put the plant based meat specifically in the meat section of the store sales went up about 30 , so theyre trying to move it, might be a little bit of false advertising, but meatbased section of the supermarket and that seems to help sales but whatever is happening, well have to wait and see what happens now that the meat shortage appears to be over well see if those sales go down , but for me, i still havent had one of those fake hamburgers. Ashley i put you in the not interested category, david asman thank you very much, david look, its the end of the work week and you know what that means. Time to hear what you think about the show. Its friday feedback someone has got a big question by the way for susan li and were going to ask her, thats a tease, right after the break. Its not just fund fees that matter. Fund taxes matter too. Every time a fund manager sells a stock it triggers a Tax Liability for you. And the higher the turnover the more you have to pay in taxes every year. And heres the worst part, because of high turnover, you actually might have to pay taxes even if the fund itself loses money. Thats why you want to own low turnover funds whenever possible. The less you pay in fund fees, the less you pay in taxes, the more wealth you can accumulate. The less you pay in fund fees, the less you pay in taxes, i appreciate what makes each person unique. Thats why i like liberty mutual. They get that no two people are alike and customize your Car Insurance so you only pay for what you need. Almost done. What do you think . I dont see it. Only pay for what you need. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Ashley and before we kickoff the weekend we want to share some fray feedback. This is good fun youve been sending in your comments all week thank you for that. Lets bring in susan and lets take a look at what some folks are saying you go first, susan. Okay well lets start with doug k. From indiana writing in saying varney was in good hands this past week, and courtesy of what do you think . Anyways, he hopes your 4th of july was grand, fabulous ashley, susan and lauren did a fantastic job my hats off to them. [applause] ashley thank you, doug. I promise doug is not a relative but thank you very much, doug we love you for that and thank you for watching, all right lets get to our next one, jay shu maker writes this. Question is for susan li. Do you still own microsoft . I really enjoy when you and stuart get talking about the company i enjoy watching him squirm just a little. I love it. So yes, i still own microsoft, i bought it when it was 133 during the depths of march so yes ive enjoyed it right up to 216 and its record highs and wedbush says it could go higher to 260 so not too late to get in. Ashley there you go, very good. All right whose next, you . Well i think i believe 90 plus decisions made are traced back to how much can i make doing this , question mark, money. Yes you very rarely talk about this why arent you a finance show . Ashley do you know what, brian, i think we do, because stu, lets face it, has been growing over bailing out of microsoft to that point early and also crying about boeing if maybe hes not boasting about how much money he makes but he certainly is not very happy about the money hes losing, so i feel like we get into that. But anyway, we take your point. Lets move on. This one from christina older, a student of the university of south carolina. Thanks for watching christina. She says the guests dont always have the same opinion as varney but its always interesting to hear different views on issues with companies. Absolutely right, christina. Stu will always tell you hes right. [laughter] we dont believe him. Ashley yes, but he has guests who dont always agree and he does listen to them so i think thats a good trait as well. Okay final one coming from n an hunter writing in saying Stuart Varney and Ashley Webster are terrific on air financial personalities, however they are both in an irritating rut of ending reports from their panel and their guests with good stuff and great stuff, no one on the varney show spews stuff. Actually i kind of like the patton the back and youre very generous when you hear good things, right . Ashley all i can say is nan, good stuff. No, im done joking. Look, you know what . Its probably an inarticulate way of finishing a interview, and but i think about it and i said it today too i said it to steve hilton so ill think about that. Stuff is perhaps not the greatest term so we take your point, nan, and interesting stuff and i just want to thank everybody who responded, yes, most of them are pretty nice, absolutely, we actually put them on air. By the way well be back at it next week so if you didnt get in today make sure that you continue to write in. Were back next week with stuart he is back on monday. Hes going to be very well rested. Com ashley welcome back everybody. We have a new president ial tweet , which reads too many universities and School Systems are about radical left indoctrination, not education. Therefore, i am telling the Treasury Department to re examine their tax exempt status and or funding which will be taken away if this propaganda will act against Public Policy continues. Our children must be educated, not indoctrinated there is President Trump getting something off his chest about education and there you have it. Hes in florida this afternoon by the way taking a look at the markets before i hand it over, the dow up nicely 225 points, ive done my best and turned it around and oh, by the way ive also got one more piece of viewer feedback and it reads, if i can read it, it says get off television and let a professional take over. All the best, neil cavuto. Well thank you, neil. Neil [laughter] ashley i also want to thank susan li and david asman for joining us and for all your efforts today neil cavuto, i will do my best, im out. Neil all right, good i was hoping i hadnt heard my email so ashley have a great weekend, my friend. Ashley thank you, you too. Neil thank you very very much we are following the corner of wall and broad way a lot of buying enthusiasm its a split read depending on what you want to look at regarding the coronavirus itself. Weve seen serious spikes in a number of states three right now that are reporting new single day highs in death counts, including california, florida and texas. Now just to put into perspective , obviously, the uptick in deaths is much lower than the uptick certainly weve seen in cases, so that is still encouraging news as is news we got out right now, gilead sciences is s
