duke it out. what a week he has had. what a way to enter 2020. the president gained one million new donors and raised $117 million since the whole impeachment charade started. the democrat candidate the establishment seize as having the best chance against the president, joe biden. he's look for a fourth place finish in new hampshire. joe biden was in my hometown of hampton, new hampshire yesterday. this happened. >> how do you explain the:performance in iowa and why should the voters believe you can win the national election. >> it's a good question. number one, i was a democratic caucus, ever been to a caucus? no, you haven't. you are a lying dog-faced pony shoulder. you said you were going to be honest, now i'll be honest with you. trish: it's just another mishap for him. there is a whole series of them going on. >> we choose truth over facts. >> let's do pushups, let's run. let's do whatever you want to do. >> why why why why why? you are getting nervous, man. >> whomever i pick is two things, one is being capable of immediately being president because i'm an old guy. trish: how is he going to manage a country if he can't manage a campaign. that analogy apply to the entire democratic party. i'm talking the dems in general. they can't manage an election let alone a country. bernie sanders who many believe got robbed in 2016 by the democratic establishment, he wants recanvassing. the shadow company quite literally called shadow and run by pete buttigieg's campaign advisor's wife. the conflict of interests be ran rampant. many of the board members were part of the democratic establishment. and pete buttigieg giving them $42,000 from campaign coffers. there are growing indications the democrats could be heading to a brokered convention which may be exactly what hillary clinton who refuses to take her name out of the race -- >> i as i say never never never say never. i will certainly tell you i'm under enormous pressure many, many, many people to think about it. i certainly feel the urge. i feel like the 2016 election was an odd time, and outcome. maybe there does need to be a rematch. obviously i can beat him again. trish: bingo. this lack of clarity may be exactly what hoik wants. >> hillary clinton i believe is going to come in to quote-unquote save the democratic party. none of these democrats are going to beat trump. boom lettering will cometh and have an impact. i think hillary clinton will get warmed up in the bullpen and be their nominee. risch if that happens, this state i am in right now, this state i grew up in will not be very happy. bernie beat hillary here by a sizable margin in 2016. the democrats are running out of time. they need to select a candidate and galvanize behind him or her. but in the meantime the president is running circles around him. he's taking their ineptitude, and total chaos all the way to the bank. $117 million in funding just since impeachment started. that's what you call the boomerang effect. so much for impeachment, nancy pelosi. perhaps you shouldn't listen to the squad. joining me, former senior advisor to president george w. bush. brad blakeman. i don't know if we have video we can show our viewers. i literally just came from there. it was really impressive for me to see. it's one thing to see it on a tv screen. but to be back home in new hampshire and see the thousands of people. i come from a small place where we don't have that's people. to see them pack into that arena, and the thousands waiting outside that weren't able to get in, it shows you there is some excitement there. he excited a group of people in a really big way. how did this play out assuming bernie sanders or pete buttigieg or joe biden is the nominee. >> all you have to do is looking at the crowds. donald trump is speaking to over 12,000 people of on the inside and thousands on big screen televisions on the outside. but bernie can't draw a crowd bigger than a thousand people. 1,800 at his best. this is supposed to be an energized electorate. donald trump isn't facing a primary opponent. you see the enthusiasm. he speaks for more than an hour and the people want more. and they leave just as energized as they came in. 2020 is probably going to be the year for democrats to go socialist. the problem is the country is not going socialist in 2020 or anytime soon and they will select somebody who is totally unelectable. trish: let me ask you about momentum. when you look the joe biden, the chosen one in fourth place. i mentioned his rally in my hometown. they were lucky to have had 500 people there. they were soliciting people to come in last minute. because we want to look like we have a good crowd. you don't have that excitement, passion, momentum for biden. does that mean it will be a socialist to pull this off? >> a likeable socialist in be where or bernie. bernie is died in the wool. he will tell you unabashedly, i'm a socialist democrat. the democrats will seal their fate with a socialist. when they have the convention in the summer and fight over their platform. for every plank in the platform they will want it in writing. and he or she will be stuck with that as they move to the general election. trish: we are not socialists. it's not who we are. not who we'll ever be. you know all the reporting i have done on venezuela. you go around the world. take your pick. it never ends well. so for anybody to be talking about that in this utopian way, i think it's critical that they remember sort of facts, right? important, cold hard facts. and history. i think it would prove capitalism is the only way forward. and that's not even a political statement. that's just reality. >> as a famous democrat once season, john f. kennedy, a rising tide lifts all boats. every segment of our society, race, you name it, has had a bettering life under donald trump. people vote their pocketbooks, they vote their conscience. donald trump has overpromised and delivered in every way possible. whether it's on the economy, or national security. this is a guy who made good on his promises. something a politician would have a hard time. >> who do you think he would like to run against? who do you think is the easy prey? is it a socialist like bernie sanders? >> yes, because bernie is bernie. buttigieg is a chameleon. but assuming even the socialists consider him a moderate. he will be a socialist by the time he leaves platform city trish: i have:people who say i support donald trump but i'm afraid. kind of a see you lend majority. if sanders succeeds in getting the nomination or any other socialist does. then don't trump supporters maybe come out more emphatically and say i'm going to plant the flag because i believe in america, i believe in capitalism, i believe in the economic engine that made us the envy of the world. >> you are already seeing it. you are seeing large crowds even where donald trump doesn't visibility an opponent. i have never been able to see a president able to consistently raise crowds, 10,000 or more and be energized the way they are. you nominate a socialist and you will have hell to pay not only for the presidency, but the congress as well and down ballot elections. trish: i'm a little disappointed in my home state calling for a socialist. granted he's from vermont. maybe they feel a kindred spirit. but live free or die is not about social i. brad, good to see you. coming up next. i just had an exclusive interview with the president of the united states moments before he took to the stage right here in new hampshire. coming up next you will hear everything, all that he had to tell me. also tonight, holly-weird -- >> we have become disconnected from the natural world. we feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow, when she gives birth she steal were baby and we take the milk that's intended for a calf and we put it in our coffee. trish: coming up, antonio sabao is here. remember how the media went after the president's doctor?
