of truth is upon us. the left choosing to rush through a so-called impeachment in the house as they did all in an effort to undo the will of 63 million americans that voted for president trump. all just months, months, right, ahead of an election in which the people would and could and should make the decision for themselves. forget the fact that we have the lowest jobless rate in five decades, forget the fact that he took out the number one and two heads of isis, forget the fact that he's bringing iran finally to its knees by taking out its top terrorist who killed 600 americans all while not hurting any innocent people. that's what the president did. but apparently, that's not allegedly allowed under the democrats because somehow they see that as a assassination according to bernie, according to elizabeth warren. don't get me started on that one. meanwhile, in terms of policy accomplishments, think about it. president trump publicly for the first time in presidential history has demanded china start playing by the rules that govern international trade. none of it gets any credit from the left because the left is so blinded by hate for president trump that the left cannot bring itself to join in on any of the fun, because there's a lot of good stuff happening right now. in fact, the more successful he is on policy, the angrier they become. >> he is a complete failure, a complete failure as commander in chief. he is the most reckless and incompetent commander in chief we have ever had. >> donald trump is a great national security threat. >> what do you call someone who says clearly racist things? this morning the answer is, mr. president. >> the president of the united states is a racist. >> he is a racist. trish: so our economy, our safety, our jobs, they all take a backseat to the political desire to hurt the president. and this tonight, house congressional members on the left are still trying to rewrite the rules in the senate. you know, they've realized they did a really lousy job in the house, and now, now they want to retry the case themselves with more evidence? i mean, heck, you're talking about the same team that's still mad robert mueller didn't get the president first time around. you actually saw guests on cnn today saying, well, mueller must be in poor mental health because, sorry to disappoint, no, the president is not a russian spy. watch. >> he was stumbling over his words. you saw him in july, and his testimony before congress, there were people that i spoke to who are very, very good family friends of his who said i couldn't watch the television anymore, it wasn't the bob i knew. trish: keep in mind they impeached on two articles including obstruction of justice -- obstruction of congress, forgive me, which is completely ludicrous there was never obstruction because he's not obligated as president to give 'em a darn thing. i mean, he is the president, and we have separation of powers, remember? founding fathers, for a reason. these guys are too lazy and too much in a hurry to ever take it to any kind of independent judge. so you know what? that one's a total sham. one big, bogus charge. the other one, abuse of power. that's their opinion. and they never bothered to prove it out. they couldn't subpoena john bolton to testify. he says he was willing. they didn't. because they knew they had no case, and so they rushed this whole thing along. the gao, the general accounting office, their big claim as well, you know, they found something. well, it turns out they found obama's white house violated the law on at least three separate occasions including when the obama white house shelled out money to exchange taliban prisoners for disgraced deserter bowe bergdahl. and did anyone suggest impeachment? no. or how about when the obama administration snuck $400 million in cash to iranians in order to get the iran deal done? did anybody talk about impeachment then? no. and yet the rabid politics of the left right now leaves us where we are tonight, the prime minister's legal team is advicing -- president's legal team is advising that this whole thing get thrown out. watch. >> they have no case. frankly, they have no charge. when you look at these articles of impeachment, they're not only ridiculous, they are dangerous to our republic. they said in their brief we have overwhelming evidence. overwhelming evidence. to impeach the president of the united states. and then they come here on the first day, and they say, you know what? we need some more evidence. if i showed up in any court in this country and i said, judge, my case is overwhelming, but i'm not ready to go yet, i need more evidence before i can make my case, i would get thrown out in two seconds. and that's exactly what should happen here. trish: you know, maybe it should happen, but i, for one, would love to see the alleged whistleblower up there, the alleged leaker, i guess we should say, testify. as well as adam schiff. i'd like to see him and a few others. you know, however, i get what the president's lawyers are saying here too and what they're doing. in other words, how can anyone trust these politicians at this point? >> if the house cannot call witnesses or introduce documents and evidence, it's not a fair trial. it's not really a trial at all. >> a trial without all of the relevant evidence is not a fair trial. >> any senator who votes to deny a witness, who votes to deny evidence is voting to cover up the president's crimes. >> the trial should be fair to the house which has been wrongly debraved of evidence. -- deprived of evidence. trish: i'm sorry, they had their chance. so to come forward now and to ask for this, that and the other? okay, guys and gals, why didn't you just do your job when this whole thing was under your jurisdiction? in your lap? i know and americans know, we know what happened, we know what you did. the left rushed through this entire thing only for nancy pelosi to sit on her heels and debate whether or not to send it to the senate, effectively risking a constitutional crisis. and so now they don't like the evidence they came up with. duh. you know what, guys? you did a shifty job, didn't you? [laughter] a total schiff show. but as senator cornyn points out, that's not his problem. >> that the house isn't prepared to go forward with the evidence that they've produced in the impeachment inquiry, maybe they ought to withdraw the articles of impeachment and start over again. trish: and gosh darn it, you know what? that's exactly what they're talking about doing, believe it or not. maxine waters just came out and said it. >> we will not stop. whether or not that leads to another impeachment activity, i don't know. but i know we must continue. trish: can't make it up, whether it leads to another impeachment activity. she said it, let's be clear, that was a threat. maxine waters wants you to know that if at first you don't succeed, impeach, impeach again. right? and that's the sentiment echoed by other members of congress. >> there's a ton of information that could come forward. for example, we could get his bank records and find out that he owned 100% by the russians. >> there is no limit on the number of times the senate can vote to convict or not a president, no limit to the number of times the house can vote to impeach or not. trish: you know what in the democrats have done our country a tremendous disservice. they're mired in more and more, and i'll use the word again, bull schiff, while the president is focused on economic and foreign policy. i want you to see him today in switzerland. >> pro-worker, pro-citizen, pro-family agenda demonstrates how a nation can thrive when its commitments, its companies -- communities, its companies, its government and its people work together for the good of the whole nation. trish: the dems have morphed themselves into the anti-worker, anti-american as it relates to the iranian terrorists in china, and anti-family political party. they have strayed too far from their values, economic and personal. too far from the values that really have made america the powerhouse we are. and in doing so, they increasingly put themselves right out of business. that's tonight's intel. joining me right now, senior adviser to the trump 2020 campaign, corey lewandowski. good to see you again. >> thank you. trish: what do you think of today? >> well, look, this is clearly a case that is very dangerous moving forward for the american people. we've now seen multiple votes in the u.s. senate right along partisan line, and the house made mistakes as they rushed this issue to impeach the president only to hold that impeachment document for more than a month to play partisan politics because they thought in their mind that moving this in front of the u.s. senate during the election year would help them. but the bottom line is the democrats stand for nothing, and they will continue to lose at the ballot box. trish: they knew they would not get to second base or even first base in the senate, right in they knew that. they knew that all along. and the ball was in their court, and they could have done a whole lot more, corey, but they chose not to. to now to be all sour grapes and say we want to, you know, a mulligan, i'm sorry. it doesn't fly. i think people see through it. what do you say? >> it doesn't work that way. look, the house could have taken all the time they wanted to have as many witnesses as they wanted. they were under no false notion of what their time frame was. but little adam schiff and jerry nadler decide they want to move this through to go after the president in an election year. and here's what the real truth is, a partisan vote in the senate on the two issues that have come before them show there's no appetite whatsoever either by the american people or the members of the u.s. senate to impeach this president because there is no underlying crime. this president is leading by example. he's rebuilding our military, he's renegotiating bad trade deals. and if that's a crime, then fine, he's guilty. but the truth is america is better and stronger because of donald trump. trish: yeah. i can't argue with that. say what you want about him, the guy has really good policy. and it's really paying off. you have only to look at the jobs numbers for that news. corey, thank you so much. or the market, i should say. good to see you. tonight, unbelievable sounding from america's biggest and most, well, naive socialist, ms. aoc. you're not going to believe it. i actually couldn't believe it when i first heard it. we're going to give you a little preview right here. >> we don't have a left party in the united states. the democratic party is not a left party.
