Woke up early 6 00 in the morning sunday and realized it was about a half inch of water. It didnt take long for the water to rise quickly. We live close to the buffalo bayou. People are looking at pictures of your home. So in a few hours we were up to 2 to 3 feet. Within about 450 hour 4 tos the water was up 5, 6 feet. We knew the water was rising quickly. Fortunately my son used snapchat and sent a message out to all of his friends and said we needed a boat, we were stuck, we were on the second floor. Fortunately one of his friends organized getting a canoe over. They brought the canoe over. Rebrought the canoe into the house, stepped off the stairs.
